The only left was for me to be on my way, food tasted like I was at home with my family. Service made it feel like they were waiting me to arrive. Started with a dry beer , just what I needed. All the was left from the pork bum were onions . The ramen was fantastic, the chicken reminded me of the fist time I stayed home sick and tasted chicken soup. Stop by bring the family, worth every cent.
Tasty ramen served at this ramen shop in Cupertino. Although it is part of a chain, the food is still pretty good. The pork broth was super flavorful, the pork meat perfectly seasoned, and the noodle texture was spot on. Not a big menu of ramen dishes, but there are some standard appetizers and rice bowls as well. Efficient service. Large free parking lot.
The ramen here is so good — I’ve been back many times! They even have ramen for kids, which is great for families. My favorite is the Tantanmen, and if you order the Special Ramen, it comes with chicken!
Tried the ramen here—and honestly, it’s the best I’ve had so far! Not many places offer good vegetable ramen, but this one is packed with flavor. It comes in a big, hearty bowl that’s super satisfying. I do wish it had a few more veggies—it would take it to the next level! But overall, it’s full of flavor and definitely enough for one person. Loved it!
8/11/2025 Marufuku Ramen 19772 Stevens Creek Blvd Cupertino, CA 95014 We went for lunch around noon on a Monday. It was full and Wifey put us on the wait list touch pad. It took about 20 minutes before we got a table. It's a clean and new table, bench and counter setup. It's in the same plaza as Tokyo Central and Daiso but nearby parking can be difficult during peak times. The menu has ramen and curry rice items. We both got the Hakata Tonkotsu ramen, spicy and ultra spicy. The broth was rich and with a good porky flavor, the pork slices had a mild smoky flavor, the egg had a runny yolk in the center and the thin noodles were firm and chewy. The spice levels were not very hot and Wifey added more Cayenne pepper in hers. A popular with quick turn around and it cleared up after about 12:45 with no waiting. Service was good and attentive. Excellent ramen and repeatable.
Went with some friends for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and have to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seated even when we had a reservation. Nevertheless, the food is good especially the Matafuku pork buns and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Overall, it was a satisfying experience for all of us.
Spicy ramen delicious, chicken karaage teishoku set was great, katsuy curry perfect. Everything was delicious
The service here is really fast and the food is really tasty! Right after we ordered apps, it came out minutes later. Same with the ramen. The ramen was really savory and the pork belly was really tender and cooked well. The staff was very friendly and they were also really attentive with water refills and anything else we needed.
Hands down one of the best ramen I've had in the bay area. Overall it's pretty close to best I've had, some where in the top 3. Sides are a bit mid and the chicken leg was quite pretty but isn't worth it. The ramen alone is enough to carry. Pricing is also quite in line so worth a try to any ramen enjoyers.
A wide variety of ramens: you get options with chicken, pork and veggie, so a great place for a group with various dietary requirements. Loved the hakata tonkontsu and the chicken paitan. Would even recommend the chicken karage.
We made a reservation online via Yelp, and the table was ready soon after we arrived. The service was very welcoming, and our host gave us some valuable recommendations. There is something for everyone, including the vegetarian option. If you are not going to ramen, you can order a different dish.
I recently visited Marufuku Ramen in Cupertino and had a wonderful dining experience. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, which was exceptionally flavorful and delicious. The rich broth paired perfectly with tender slices of pork and a soft-boiled egg. Adding a hint of spiciness elevated the dish, providing just the right amount of heat. To complement the ramen, I also tried the chicken karaage. It was delightfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making it a perfect appetizer. Overall, the meal was fantastic, and I highly recommend Marufuku Ramen for a satisfying and authentic ramen experience.

I love the San Francisco location but its so far, always crowded and a huge wait. I love that my favorite Ramen place opened up a location so close to my home! This location is also bigger and the interiors are quite pretty. We went there on Saturday afternoon, and although there was a bit of a wait, it was much faster than SF. And there were other stores nearby so were easily able to spend time there. Bonus: Izumi Matcha is just across the street! Coming to the food: we ordered our usual tonkutsu ramen, and it was pretty good. My husband ordered beer and that was amazing!
We waited around 45 minutes on a Saturday, which was not outrageous. We were able to walk around the other shops while we were there! The food was excellent and served very (and I mean VERY) quickly. Highly recommend the chicken karaage and the marufuku bites! The ramen was also quite good. However, be aware that the spice level here leans towards “mild” so the “medium” spicy ramen we got was not particularly spicy. Anyway, it’s a good spot! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait :)
Marafuku is a great place to go for a quick meal and ramen that hits the spot. I've been coming here with friends for a few years now, and this is one of our go-to spots that never disappoints. Marafuku does keep busy and is always bustling in the evening, but checking in is a breeze on the digital kiosk by the door. Despite how busy it is the staff take care of us and we're always seated promptly. Staff are all friendly and food is served quickly. Special shoutout to our wonderful server ALEX. I highly recommend the chicken karaage, very fresh and flavorful. Ramen is delicious as well. They have the regular option, but order the DX version if you want more food/toppings on your ramen. We keep coming back because Marafuku has delicious food, great service, and all priced very reasonably.

Marufuku Ramen in Cupertino is a top-tier choice for those who value a refined, creamy broth and a polished dining environment. Their signature Hakata Tonkotsu features a rich, umami-heavy soup base that avoids the excessive saltiness found at many competitors, paired with ultra-thin artisanal noodles. The Chicken Paitan is equally impressive, offering a velvety alternative, while the Marufuku Bites (pork buns) and crispy karaage are standout appetizers that justify their slightly premium price. The experience is modern and efficient, making it a great spot for both quick lunches and casual dates. However, the shop’s popularity means you should expect significant wait times—often 45 to 60 minutes on weekends—though their digital waitlist allows you to explore the nearby Stevens Creek shops. Service is remarkably fast once you’re seated, as the staff is trained to keep the "slurp and go" momentum moving to accommodate the crowds. The main drawback for some will be the cost-to-portion ratio; a standard bowl starts around $18.50, and those with larger appetites may find the chashu slices thin and the noodle portion a bit light. Expect to spend over $30 per person if you add an extra serving of noodles (kaedama) or a side dish. Overall, it is an exceptionally consistent and high-quality "modern classic," provided you don't mind the premium price and the likely wait.
Excellent umami ramen. The noodles are ok. For the standard ramen you get a whole egg, two thin slices of chase and green onio ns. It's a busy place but you get seated in half an hour if you join the Yelp waiting list. Skip the Chicken Karaage. Somehow, I find it too thick and firm for my taste. I will be back again to try the other menu items.
We tasted the chicken and pork broth ramen. They were both tasty, flavorful and portions reasonable. The eggs were slightly overcooked and my husband got spicy but it was not spicy at all. We also tried the Ika Karaage but felt slimy/oily and battery so I would skip that next time. Would def go back again for the ramen.
First, I want to call out the Ika Karaage (fried squid). It was perfectly cooked with a light batter. The chunky pieces of squid had a great texture, and the accompanying sauce was a perfect complement. Definitely in the top 5 of the fried squids I have tried (4.5/5) We ordered the Hataka Tonkotsu DX in one spicy (3.5/5) and one medium (3/5). The noodles were perfectly cooked, it had a nice bite to it, overall great texture. The broth was savory and not overwhelming. The spicy broth was a lot better than the medium, even after I added extra spice to the medium bowl. I am assuming different amount of spicy oil used in the spicy version that made a slight difference. The bowl was not very spicy either, not just me, the table next to me also said the same thing. So go for the spicy, it had slightly more flavor profile to it. I was a bit disappointed with the chashu pork slices, they were a bit too thin compared to other places. The flavor was decent, they were also a bit drier than what I've had elsewhere. The pork belly was similarly a little dry, but flavorful. I was very disappointed with the egg, it was just a soft boiled egg. I was expecting (Ajitsuke Tamago) which is the marinated soft boiled egg that typically comes with the ramen. Maybe it was the style of the ramen, and this one calls for a regular egg.
We stumbled upon Marufuku Ramen in Cupertino on a chilly evening after some late-night shopping, and it turned out to be such a great find! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted with a cheerful shout of welcome—a tradition they kept up every time someone entered or left, which added to the fun atmosphere. After a short wait, we were seated and ready to dive into their small but thoughtfully curated menu. We ordered ramen, bao sandwiches, and shishito peppers. Everything arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The ramen was rich and flavorful, the bao was soft and stuffed with tasty fillings, and the shishito peppers were a perfect appetizer. Our only wish? That the ramen portions were a bit bigger! Overall, this place hit the spot for a cozy, satisfying meal on a cold night. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food and very fast service. One feedback, please include more veggies in the vegetable curry and introduce mushroom in the veg ramen.
Ramen is awesome! We come here many times. But the service is bad. Next table came later than us, but they got the service quick and earlier than us. Don’t order curry rice, chicken is dry and thin. Then when we want to check, we wave our hands many times, then got the service. At that time it’s 3pm, only half full in the restaurant.
I would provide 0 star since our family got insulated by the host in the restaurant. We are a family with two young kids, the host didn't ask us if we would like to sit at the bar or table, he assigned us to bar, basically we are scattered around the corners of the bar. It is hard to take care of the kids and share the food since we also ordered appetizers and small plates. I asked the server to give us a table, but the host came to us very very rude said we should have said table first, there is no choice of table or bar and he didn't even asked us at the beginning, how can we know the settings in advance? He said he couldn't do anything on the seating, and try to mess up our lunch by teaching me how to share the food! I would say we are definitely insulted by this tall guy (host/server). I reported to their manager who is much nicer than the host, but I wish he could give us a very sincere apology for the forgiveness.
Not going into detail, but ordered gyoza and it was mushy and not crispy on the bottom, tasted like it was microwaved. The table next to me got gyoza and they had crispy bottoms. The hot tea was $3 per cup.
