Fresh veggies, hearty portions and great selection of meats, awesome assorted mushrooms, and very tasty sauces and broths. This was my first visit to this location and the manager Kevin was very friendly and helpful. The entire staff was very attentive and busy, and Kevin made us feel special the few times he stopped to check in on us. Being that we cooked our food at the table ourselves, it was not only an interactive dining destination, but also a fun experience. Sharing with my buddy was also fun as we got to order a few things and enjoy some adventure. We arrived not long after they opened and found it easier to get a table, but when we left, there was a line waiting out the door to get a table. Makes sense, it was delicious and a great experience across the board. Thank you again to Kevin for helping us.
This place is so good!! My friends and I go at least once a month. We always get the garlic miso with kobe beef. Super flavorful broth and tender meat. Service is always good. Can get busy at times so we like to go right when they open.
It’s so satisfying to have a hot Shabu Shabu in a cold day. This shop offers high quality dishes, from meat to vegetables, broth to sauces. We had Ribeye and Kobe beef combo, with house special and sukiyaki broth. They pair very well. I especially loved the sesame sauce, so special and tasty - it made the meat and vegetables taste even better! We felt the quality of food from this restaurant in every dish they offered. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend!
2025.05.10, Saturday at 11:45am Immediately crowded, good thing we came early! Party of 8! Total came out to be $330 plus tax and tips. It was also mother day weekend, they gave each of the mothers at our table one rose 🌹 1st review: Dine in for lunch on Saturday right on opening and there was already crowded! Each person is required to order one entree. An entree comes with a tray of veggies and a choice of grain (noodle, rice, etc). Total out the door for two people was $88, tax included. The staffs need a raise! They were running around nonstop and had so much patience with the crowd. They were amazing and so fast!!!!!! The place is about 12 tables. The top tiers Kobe and premium beef was amazing! It was tender and melts in your mouth 🤤 I would absolutely come back!
🍵 One Pot Shabu Shabu – A Cozy Hot Pot Experience My girlfriend and I love hot pot, so we had to try One Pot Shabu Shabu when we spotted it next to Daiso. It’s a small, intimate spot, with lighting that keeps the focus on what matters—the food! 🍲 Broths & Proteins We ordered: House Special Broth (Miso/Soymilk) – my pick Garlic Miso Broth – my girlfriend’s choice Both were flavorful and well-balanced. For meats, we had Kubota Pork Belly and American Kobe Beef, both top-tier in quality. Even the standard cuts were incredibly tender. Each meal includes a generous veggie box 🥦 and a choice of rice or noodles. I chose clear noodles (harusame), while she went with rice. ☯️ The "One Pot" Twist Instead of individual pots, they serve the broth yin-yang style, letting you share and swap flavors. Plus, there’s a temperature control knob so you’re not stuck with boiling-hot broth the entire time. 🥜 Dipping Sauces They provide sesame sauce and ponzu sauce—mix and match to find your favorite combo. I liked a bit of both! ⭐ Final Thoughts One Pot Shabu Shabu stands out with high-quality meats, flavorful broths, and thoughtful details. Whether you're a hot pot pro or a first-timer, this place is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back—maybe for the premium cuts next time! 😍🔥
I’ve been to another one pot in San Jose before so I knew what to expect. And this one is just as good as that one! The atmosphere is actually better here, but it is smaller and more crowded. Still has the yummy broths. I like to garlic miso but others like the tonkotsu. You get a lot of veggies with your meat entree so don’t worry about that. An entire plate per person. I love the steaks but the scallops are also extremely fresh and good. The fish cakes are okay if you want something a little different. Of course, better to come with a small group and share! And $10 for beer and/or sake is a good deal to me! Service is fast. But be aware, shabu shabu is a fairly long meal, so plan accordingly.
Awesome chill hot pot spot. Broth was not overly strong and I didn’t leave feeling like I overate or the hotpot stench that one might typically get. The induction stove was quick and reactive. The beef rib eye was tasty and well marbled. We also got the A5 Wagyu and it was noticeable fattier and tastier though I’d still prefer it seared. As a hot pot newbie, I’d come back again for sure for the calmer and quieter vibes, individually portioned food, and very quick service.
Went out with my cousin and my husband to this awesome hot pot restaurant. Great selections for broth (my favorite in the Garlic Miso), and several types of protein to choose from in regular or large sizes. Preferably regular as they give a good portion. Vegetables are automatically given along with your choice of rice, mixed rice, or noodles. Also has starters like Edamame, takoyaki, etc to name a few. Overall, really enjoyed the experience, would love to come here again!
I eat here about once a month so thought it’d be time to give a review. Byfar one my favorite hotpot locations. Customer service has been consistently spectacular and the food has always been delicious. My only feedback is some of the seating areas for two feel slightly too small and could be a bit uncomfortable.
Not a large restaurant for hot pot, quite popular, got there 10 min before it opened. Offers several soup base, we tried the soy milk with miso and kimchi, like the first one, kimchi was so so. Good quality of meats, but the scallops were average. Prices were on the high end.
The meat quality is really good! We tried angus prime gyutan, black angus prime ribeye and premium american kobe beef, all are very delicious! We arrived on 11:30 on a Sunday morning and there were plenty of seats. The service is good and quick.

Amazing fresh food. The veggies were perfect. The meat was freshly sliced. I’ve never had hot pot as good before. Totally worth the trip from out of state.

You get a good amount of food for your money here. The Garlic Miso broth is very good. The service is about normal for a place like this. Tends to be on the dark side, and tables are a bit close together to have any private conversation. Overall a great place though.
Cozy little Japanese hot pot restaurant in Cupertino. The portions were fairly sizable for the “Regular” option, and the veggies that come with the protein were all fresh and tasty. The beef is definitely the star, and the House Special Broth was surprisingly delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Large free parking lot that fills up quickly during peak dining hours.
Great place for hot pot in a cold day. We ordered the House Special and Garlic Miso soup base. Both are delicious. You share a pot and there are two different kinds of soup in one pot. For entrees, we had Prime Ribeye and Kobe Beef. Added a side of Kurobuta (pork) and scallops. Meat quality is good and veggies are fresh. Their sesame sauce is excellent, one of the best one in the Bay area. Each entree comes with a box of veggies and you can choose rice or a few varieties of noodles. The place is kinda small and dark. The seating area is cramp. Each table is very close to each other and you can easily hear the conversation from the next table. Service is so-so. Not too many waiters/waitresses working there. You'll have to wait to get their attention. Once they know you need something, they're good to bring you whatever you need.
We tried this Shabu Shabu restaurant for the first time, and both the experience and the food were great. We got the Garlic Miso and Sukiyaki broths, which came with a generous veggie bento. We also ordered a bowl of rice (your choice of purple or white). The American Kobe beef was extremely tender and delicious. I really liked that they offered refills of the ponzu and sesame sauces. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so there might be a wait during busy times. The interior is a bit dark and can feel quiet at times, which gives it a calm atmosphere. Definitely hope to be back again!
One Pot Shabu Shabu delivers bang for your buck. Each person gets to pick an entree and their broth base. Each entree comes with a set of assorted vegetables. Each entree is also served with house made goma (sesame) and ponzu (citrus based soy sauce) sauce. Each entree comes in three different sizes- regular, large, and sumo. The bigger the size, the more meat you get. My friend and I ordered a large Angus prime ribeye entree and a lamb shoulder entree. For our broth base, we picked house special (organic soy milk and miso) and spicy kimchi. Both the broth bases were really good. The ponzu sauce was pretty good, too. The assorted vegetables were fresh and included a wide variety - corn, carrots, broccoli, noodles, tofu, mushrooms, pumpkin. The food was delicious, but I wish the staff was a bit more attentive. There were 2 instances when we needed more water in our broth, but we had to wait a few minutes to get that taken care of. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Pretty good shabu-shabu place we went at lunch and it is quite costly. I got the prime rib sets and out the door is about $50. It does get you really full however it's kind of expensive place to be. Service is so so and the atmosphere is also so so. I would prefer Haidilao for their $24 lunch menu

The food tastes really good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. But both me and my friend had diarrhea right after we finished and went back home. It hard to say if it’s the broth or the mix grain rice that might not be fully cooked. But we were sure we had our beef and beef tongue well done in the broth. it was a really bad experience that a good taste food was ruined by food safety issue. Hope the kitchen pay more attention to the food quality.

We have 4 adults and 2 young kids sign up in the waitlist. And the restaurant is empty. One adult has to run for an errand before we get seated. The host refuses to seat us because we are not a full party. We told the host that our kids are starving and we will order before the last team member arrives. Also our kids need more time to finish their meal. But the host still refuses to seat us.
