From the outside — and even upon stepping in — the restaurant presents itself with striking simplicity. In fact, the atmosphere initially feels almost too restrained, bordering on soulless. The dining room lacks energy, and the presentation of the dishes does little to elevate expectations. At first glance, it’s easy to feel underwhelmed. But then the food arrives — and everything changes. The ribs, in particular, are transformative. One bite in, and any lingering doubt disappears. They are deeply flavorful, perfectly cooked, and unapologetically indulgent. The texture is tender without falling apart prematurely, and the seasoning penetrates every bite. It’s the kind of dish that silences conversation mid-sentence. We also ordered a steak, requesting medium-rare leaning toward medium — closer even to medium-well. What arrived was noticeably rarer than specified, with a lightly seared exterior and a vivid pink center. While it was disappointing to see our temperature preference missed, credit must be given where it’s due: the steak itself was exceptional. Remarkably tender, beautifully juicy, and rich with natural flavor, it was executed with confidence. Had the doneness aligned with the request, it would have been nearly flawless. The drinks, however, are serviceable at best — and the appetizers don’t leave a lasting impression. This is not a destination for craft cocktails or inventive starters. But that almost feels beside the point. This is a restaurant that understands meat. While the ambiance may lack warmth and the supporting cast of the menu may not dazzle, the kitchen’s command of ribs and steak is undeniable. For carnivores seeking bold, expertly handled cuts, this spot earns its applause. -Adonis
Enjoyed my visit. I'd say it's all round perfection because I had no compliants (except for having to wait to get a table but that is NOT their fault hence I can not blame them). They managed the wait very well, the staffs were professional and friendly, food was awesome (had steak, well done and they did it perfectly). Definitely a 100% performance imv. Thanks guys for your work and service. Grateful
We visited this location with a group of 11 people and celebrating a birthday. Our server was nik, and she was phenomenal. She recommended amazing appetizers for our group to share, I ordered the dragon fruit margarita and it was amazing. I dont go out to eat or drink hardly but this experience was memorable. Everyone had a really good time during our stay. Thank you so much for having us and having everything coming out hot, fresh and correctly. I would definitely this location and nik the server.
LongHorn Steakhouse truly deserves all the praise in the world. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a level of hospitality that makes you feel valued. The food here is simply exceptional — perfectly cooked steaks, rich flavors, and high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. The service is beyond amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and they genuinely care about making sure your experience is flawless. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean, and everything feels organized and welcoming. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a full experience. If you’re looking for the best steakhouse in the area, LongHorn is on another level. Highly recommended, and absolutely worth every visit.
Restaurant was very clean throughout and a nice atmosphere. Staff were great and on top of their game, albeit we there there between lunch and dinner. Steaks were cooked as described on the menu and were very tasty and seasoned well. I almost never order a steak out because I can do exactly what I want at home. However, I was in Texas...
A must-go for anyone in the Cypress area! The main cuisine was of the utmost quality, the dessert and appetizers were beyond delicious, the staff was straightforward and welcoming, and the interior vibe was quite soothing. The only issue we had was that the waiter took longer than expected to bring us our dessert. But aside from that, this place is truly worth visiting!
First time here. The waiter was friendly, and the atmosphere was beautiful with woods tones and murals. Food was SO YUMMY! Our table ordered the Shrimp, Chicken Fried Chicken and the Medium Well Ribeye. The okra was fried whole instead of cut up and the steak came well done, but everything was very flavorful. Very nice place for a date or nice evening out.
My husband and I went out for an early dinner. I chose the sirloin with shrimp + side of mac and cheese and he had the Cheeseburger. Our food was great. Our service could have been better. Our waitress was Minely, and she barely appeared the whole night and to add she never greeted us with a smile the whole night. Felt like we were a bother. The only time she came to our table was near the end once we were almost done, at that point she reached to take our plates away without asking if we were finished. We had ordered two alcoholic drinks at the beginning and never came back to ask if we wanted another drink or refill on water. Once she came to our table towards the end i did order a peach sangria, took her about 8 minutes to return, only to return with the wrong sangria. Left and again waited a while before she appeared with the correct drink. Over all food was great, service could have been better. We watched as all the other waiters/servers greet and attended their tables while we sat waiting on ours.
I ordered an appetizer: Brisket nachos ✅️ Bone in ribeye ✅️ The waiter looked as if he was really stressed which is understandable, but he should have been more attentive to the customers, and communicate better. My appetizer came out very last after all the other appetizers that was order at the table, and in my mind is just brisket trimming, and cheese. It came out so late that I don't have pictures. It was good though. It was finished off quickly. Now with my steak... it was cooked to a perfect medium, and also delicious 😋 whatever season was placed on it was awesome 👌 👏 👍 The okra and Mac and cheese was awesome 👌
The ambiance at Longhorn Steakhouse was a bit underwhelming — not much energy or atmosphere — but the service and food more than made up for it. The staff was attentive and friendly, and every dish was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, a great dining experience if you’re there for the food rather than the vibe.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5) We waited about an hour in line, but it was worth it — the service was outstanding, thanks to Michael, who truly made the experience enjoyable. We ordered the filet mignon, Brussels sprouts, and a burger with a loaded baked potato — everything was really tasty and cooked perfectly. The only small downside: no sparkling water 😅 — but honestly, Michael’s great attitude and attention to detail made up for it. Definitely recommend this location — we’ll be back!
If you know LongHorn then you know it's a great place to grab a steak. The service is always awesome, restaurant is pretty much always clean. I had the fillet and lobster, the lobster was amazing and the steak was cooked to medium just like I like. I felt like the steak could've been more flavorful, but it was still good. My wife said the salmon and mash potatoes were really good. She didn't too much like the rice, but more of a personal preference. Everything was hot and fresh!
The broccoli was GREAT! The steak and potato? Neither arrived hot. Normally, I’d provide a lower ranking for such, but service was great. Waitress and manager both wanted to make it right. Great staff, truly. Broccoli was served hot and not over cooked. I scarfed it. Would order again. Steak and potato? Not so much.
The food was good. BUT THE SERVICE horrific very horrific. How did this waiter get hired???? He had zero! zero customer service skills. When he brought our food he was placing the dishes far away from us. Like what ????? I finished my coke and he didn't bring another one because he did not check on us. For the check we stood up and went to look for him! I can't comprehend how this dude got hired he doesn't know how to be courteous and friendly with customers. Awful!! I'm not returning to this location ever! Staff is not trained at this location. Horrible service.
My husband and I have been to this location a few times last year with no issues. We recently went this past Monday, around noon. Place was not busy, our service was very slow. Our waiter appeared to be annoyed even though we were straight forward ordering food, he was not friendly and didn’t seem to care. He took forever to give us our check in the end. The food was OK
Ruined my birthday dinner. Once we got sat they took so long to get a server that the manager came over and did the “shift change” convo. She said I could pick any appetizer for free. I told her it was my birthday and she switched it to free dessert. Which I should already get the free dessert since it’s my birthday, but whatever. We ordered steaks and sweet potatoes with salads. The sweet potatoes never made it to the table. The steak was like rubber and I could barely cut it. When the server finally came with the bill, would you believe EVERYTHING was on that bill? The sweet potatoes that we never got and my “FREE” birthday cake. Happy birthday to me!
First time at LongHorn Steakhouse. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice, but that’s where the positives ended. I ordered a 9 oz tenderloin and a loaded baked potato. The potato was barely loaded—just a few threads of cheese, one small piece of bacon, and chives, with no butter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out rare. The service was terrible: no refills offered, no bread, and the waiter never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. Prices were as expected, but based on the food and service, I will not be returning.
I’m not sure if we just came on a bad day, but this was by far the worst service we’ve experienced at a LongHorn Steakhouse. We checked the reviews before coming and they have pretty good reviews. But unfortunately, it was very disappointing compared to other LHS locations we’ve been to. From the start, the host did not greet us at all—no “hi” or “welcome.” She was only doing a head count and simply said, “Follow me.” When we were seated, we waited more than 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Our server Chris N. (male) didn’t greet us either—no hello, good afternoon, or anything. He immediately asked, “What drink you want?” When I ordered apple juice for my kids, he responded that he had to check if they even had it. When I asked if the Texas Brisket Queso could have the salsa on the side, he flatly said no and explained it was already made that way—no effort, no explanation, no courtesy. I tried to stay hopeful. He took our order without a notepad, which was actually impressive—but when the food came out, several items were wrong. My husband politely asked if they had HP steak sauce, and the server responded rudely, listing sauces they had. My husband clarified that he knows what steak sauces are and was simply asking if HP sauce was available. A simple, polite “Sorry Mr., we don’t have that” would have been enough—but instead, the attitude made things uncomfortable. To make matters worse: • Steak ordered medium well came out medium rare • Salad requested with honey mustard came with ranch • No apology was offered for any mistake At that point, the service completely ruined our appetite. It honestly made us wonder if the server just didn’t like us—or if he was simply having a bad day. When he handed the check to me, that was the only time he asked if we wanted dessert. Why ask about dessert when the customer is clearly ready to leave? Despite everything, we still tipped—but this location clearly needs better management and customer service training. What made it worse was seeing nearby tables (local customers) being treated warmly by other servers. We didn’t receive that same welcoming feeling at all. Very disappointing experience
I ordered a kids’ sirloin meal with a loaded baked potato from this location, and the potato was rotten and clearly unsafe to eat (I have photos as proof). I had already eaten part of it before noticing the discoloration. This could have made me, or worse — a child — very sick if it had gone unnoticed. When I called the restaurant, the issue didn’t feel like it was taken seriously. They told me that they were going to give me a gift card to compensate what has happened, but still it didn’t even converted the whole amount of what I have paid. This was a food safety concern, and I expected more accountability. I hope management improves their food quality checks and response to customer concerns. Serving spoiled food should never happen, especially in a kids’ meal.
WORST CURBSIDE EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD I can’t give an atmosphere rating since this was an online order, but let’s talk about everything else — because it was a disaster from start to finish. First, my food was NOT ready when I arrived at my scheduled pickup time. Instead, I sat waiting another 20 minutes. To make things worse, when I got to the designated curbside spots, a truck was blocking both spaces. I had to park in my own makeshift spot and hope they’d still find me. Fifteen minutes went by with no food in sight, so I finally called the number at the bottom of my he curbside sign. A woman answered and casually told me that the person handling online orders had “already left for the night.” She said she’d bring my food out — which she did, but the damage was already done. The food? Another letdown. The baked potato skin was crusted with giant salt chunks, making it way too salty, and it was cold. My T-bone steak was also cold — tender once I reheated it, but almost no flavor. My shrimp appetizer breading was soggy instead of crisp. And whoever thought it was a good idea to place my ice cream ON TOP of the hot food… congratulations, you served me a cup of warm, melted milk. The drinks were just as bad — and overpriced. The mango lemonade tasted like unsweetened, vaguely flavored water (no real mango or lemon flavor), and the peach tea was so sweet it felt like drinking straight syrup. To top it off, the “large” drinks were basically child-size cups for $3.89 each. I’ve spent a lot of money at LongHorn in the past and have had decent experiences, but this was one of the worst takeout orders I’ve ever had. The lack of communication, poor food handling, and “oh well” attitude toward customers is unacceptable. I’ll be speaking with the manager directly because this level of service is not worth a single star. (Not all food is pictured here)
