Run, don’t walk!! This menu is so varied and each item is really incredible! They have a range of brisket, chicken, and pork banh mi and bao buns, as well as a large amount of vegan sandwiches! I cannot recommend the tempeh satay enough, it’s so good!

The kiddos and I came in for a quick bite. I ordered a pork banh mi and my kids had a pork bao bun and a chicken one. They ate it up. Will definitely come back to try the other options.

We had lunch here after seeing all the positive reviews and I’m glad we did! I loved their self-ordering station - I’m pretty picky so it was nice taking my time reviewing what I wanted. I ordered a trio of delicious Bao Buns and my husband got the popular Duck Confit Banh Mi. Parking was easy and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back to try more!

Food was good but not authentic Viet at all. Very much a fusion hipster place. If you’re looking for one with cha lua, pâté, or head cheese, Viet mayo, look elsewhere. I got the five spice pork belly which was quite good and the bread was crispy. Had to reorder my fried egg because it was overdone with no runny yolk which is the whole point of adding a fried egg. The soft shell crab and Viet coffee was pretty good as well. Thai tea and veg eggrolls not so much. Egg rolls tasted exactly like Panda Express’s with no fish sauce to dip in but sweet and sour chili sauce instead.

It might be a presence thing, because I know Vietnamese baguettes are supposed to have a thin crust that shatters easily, but the bread for the Bahn me seemed too dry and stiff, without much of a soft interior.

Delicious Banh Mi sandwiches! I’m on a low carb, high protein diet and these guys can accommodate. I just ordered sides of the meat and it was amazing! My son and husband loved the sandwich and the bao buns!

Got the jackfruit crab sandwich. The bread was good and well prepared, but the meatball itself is kind of dry. The Sriracha fries are good. The ambience is nice. We can sit outside and have a good meal. This could be an option for an easy get together with a friend on an evening. The parking is great since it’s in the Sylvan Avenue.

Ratings from a teen and a pre-teen: They loved it. They raved about how great it was, although I’ve been to authentic Vietnamese places in Arlington and Richardson that serve legit bánh mì and bánh bao in those cash-only spots. That said, since it’s not too spicy or overly seasoned, I can see why it’s rated the “top bun bao” spot by folks new to Vietnamese cuisine. The spot isn’t even owned by a Vietnamese family (Thai owned). It’s a vegan-friendly spot, which is encouraging to see in this area. The interior is immaculately clean, and the decor is subtle yet bold with accent wall enhancements. The menu is short, straightforward, but rewarding. On the flip side: When you walk in, there is an order line and a pick-up line. The college student cashier had us waiting five minutes until the owner in the kitchen flagged that we needed to order. There is a large iPad-like kiosk facing the cashier that was offline (during lunch hour, no less), and we were asked to move to the pickup line to place our order. While the ordering took about 10 minutes, the food was out in less time than that. I’ll return but only if my kids ask me to. Catch me outside in Arlington or Richardson Viet supermarkets instead.

Buffalo sandwich so good but they are so stingy. The sandwich has shrunk and they barely put any of the soy curls in. And make you pay $5 for “extra” when it brings it to a normal amount. Very shady practice just stuff the sandwich. The cheesecake is delicious too but again very small piece for the price.

This has been a go-to spot for me now for probably three-ish years now and thought it was great when I first tried it. Even now I think it’s still decent and I’ve never had a bad experience with the service. But the banh mi specifically has changed and I’m not sure what happened (ownership/management change?). I’d always get the grilled lemongrass chicken banh mi because it was so good that I wouldn’t want to risk getting anything else. Now though, the chicken seems less flavorful, the veggies are cut way thicker, and (worst of all) they took the option away to add pate, which kind of made the sandwich as good as it was to me. One or two of their other dishes seem to have slightly changed too, but those were less noticeable. The banh mi, though, went from really good to just okay. It definitely isn’t bad, but not even close to what it used to be imo, which is a huge bummer.

We tried 3 different bao buns: the falafel, which tasted fried; the chicken, which was also very fried; and the crab, which was good. The second issue was the sauce, they barely put any! We also had the banh mi with jackfruit crab cakes, but it had no taste. The problem is that they use the same ingredients everywhere( coriander , carrots) , which makes everything taste the same.

Overpriced. The vegan options lacked in flavor and taste. I ordered the Tempeh fries and there was not anything special about them. I ordered the Boa Trio also and I was so disappointed. The sweet and chili tofu was just nasty and the edamame falafel was the better of the two.
