A timeless Dallas steakhouse experience. The atmosphere feels refined and established, with strong attention to detail in both service and presentation. An impressive setting for business dinners or special occasions. My wife and I really enjoyed Del Frisco's Double Eagle.
Food was really good but they were supposed to pack a lobster mac and cheese to go but they didn't put it in with our left overs. It's just way too expensive to forget to include things you paid for. We were too far away when we realized. So disappointed. Update: they called and offered a free one once we returned- very sweet of them to make it right.
Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse earns a flawless 5 stars—prime steaks, impeccable service, and upscale vibes make it Dallas fine dining at its finest. I went for the signature dry-aged bone-in ribeye (32 oz), seared to perfect medium-rare with a caramelized crust that locked in juices, paired with loaded baked potato oozing sour cream, chives, and butter, plus creamed spinach rich with Parmesan and smoky bacon. Every bite was tender, flavorful perfection, elevated by house-made steak sauce and sea salt flakes.Service stands out: suited servers anticipate needs, sommelier nailed a bold Cabernet pairing, and complimentary bread service (warm popovers with whipped honey butter) started strong. Sides like lobster mac 'n cheese (truffle-infused, gooey shells) and asparagus with hollandaise were flawless. Desserts seal it—crème brûlée torch-cracked to creamy custard heaven. Polished ambiance with white tablecloths, live piano some nights, and city views. Pricey but worth every cent for celebrations or treating yourself. Dallas steakhouse royalty!
We went for our wedding anniversary and can not say enough how great the service was! Marissa and Sam were outstanding! The food was superb! The wine recommendation from Sam was on point and paired perfectly with our dinner! We will definitely be back to this location! Thank you Del Frisco’s
The service was OUTSTANDING. Brought my girlfriend for a birthday dinner, we received the best table in the house, signed birthday note at the table. Seemingly every waiter/waitress and manager in the house came by, wished happy birthday, and ensured our experience was top-notch. Food is very good, a bit overpriced. The bread, sides, and dessert are delicious. I didn’t order a steak but from neighboring tables they looked perfectly cooked and delicious. Wine was excellent. Would certainly recommend and will be back. Keep up the phenomenal service, best I’ve ever had!
Chris was absolutely amazing. He was very helpful in celebrating a birthday and gave incredible recommendations that took our steak to the next level. Chris is a big reason why one of our favorite steakhouses has been completely knocked out of the park by Del Frisco’s. Even though we had a late reservation, he never rushed us or made us feel like a nuisance, and he made sure we got the last butter cake they had! I’m so impressed with my experience and will definitely ask for him when we come back. And of course, the food was 1000/10.
I eat steak across Texas from Dallas to South Padre. Del Friscos Downtown Dallas is hands down one of the best experiences in Texas. This is where celebrities and government officials eat. Legendary service. Ask for Dan at the bar, his blue cheese martini with a Ribeye is more than memorable
Valet parking was super convenient. The restaurant was gorgeous with Christmas decor everywhere. Upstairs they have an outdoor patio bar, looking over the city. Our server, Chris, was amazing!! Super personable. Knew the menu inside and out. Took great care of our table without being overly intrusive. Highly recommend you ask for him specifically; we will when we come back. The seating is comfortable and tables are spaced so you can have a quiet conversation. Our dinner was fabulous. We ordered the filet and sea bass, which were cooked perfectly. The sides are generous and definitely shareable. The starting bread is served warm with honey butter and it's so yummy. They also had a musician playing piano in the bar. Prices were commiserate to the quality of food and experience. We had an after dinner drink at the bar and Mike and Jose were friendly and offered us great ideas for things to do since we are out of town. The manager, Lance, stopped to check in on us and was also super friendly and hospitable!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Note.. reservations are recommended!!
Everything was a 10/10. We went on our anniversary and can’t wait to return. Steak was amazing! The wedge salad was SO delicious. They have a great little setup outside the restaurant where you can take photos. Overall a great experience I was pregnant at the time we visited and the mocktails were also really amazing. Highly recommend for a date night!
I don’t leave reviews often but I must say the bartender Jose and the manager Mr.Matty were so freaking awesome. The lobster Mac & Cheese was a 10/10, drinks yummy, ambience- very inviting and I met some really nice ladies who blessed me with some birthday cocktails… even though I came solo but I’m leaving with memories.. I will definitely make a second visit 😍
Check-in was prompt and professional, with the Wine Room ready upon arrival. The evening flowed with a relaxed, tapas-style variety—small plates and shared bites that kept conversation light and engaging. It was the perfect balance of casual business and refined atmosphere. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing allowed for genuine connection and discussion. An excellent choice for small business gatherings or executive dinners where you want sophistication without stiffness.
We had an incredible experience at Del Frisco’s Dallas! The food was absolutely delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Brian took such great care of us, and Ashton was phenomenal when it came to the wine — so knowledgeable, patient, and spot-on in finding us the perfect bottle to pair with our meal. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend asking for Brian and Ashton if you want top-notch service to go with an already amazing menu!
Great place for a date night. We'll be back for that. Had reservations for Saturday night for my spouse birthday. We were greeted with a happy birthday at check in and they gave my wife a card. The food we ordered was the grilled oysters and calamari for an appetizer. The main course was the surf & turf trio, the 16oz pork chop, side dishes were lobster mac & cheese and asparagus. The drinks are amazing as well. My favorite is the butter cake. It was crispy on the edges. Best cake ever.

I can’t give 5 stars because the pork chop wasn’t the best this time. It lacked flavor and didn’t have a glaze on it that it usually has. It had the look but the taste wasn’t there. I had been craving this pork chop for weeks and I was very disappointed. I had to ask for glaze but of course it wasn’t a glaze because it wasn’t cooked on it so it was just a sauce. Everything else was great!
We reserved a private room for an evening event and the serving and host staff were incredible. They made the entire night special for our team from the moment we stepped in to the building to the second we left. Special s/o to the host working on 3/2, I didn’t catch his name. He assisted with bringing my items upstairs and was kind enough to check in. Donovan and Sam were an amazing duo during the cocktail hour and main dinner event. They were attentive and present. They considered our needs to the best of their abilities and they seem to be unicorn employees. Best servers I’ve had!
My family dines here on special occasions and have not have any issues in the past, however during our Christmas Eve dining we experienced over an hour of delay with our reservation. The hostess was not concerned with the delay and just asked us to wait on the side. We were also told they did not have enough silverware available which if truth showed a lack of preparation on their part. In the future if a situation like this arises it would be nice to reach out to the customer to let them know there are delays, this prevents people from just standing up waiting. On a positive note, the food was great as always.

I wanted to get out, listen to some live music, and enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank, so I stopped by Del Frisco’s on a Wednesday night for their Shucked, Fried & Stirred bar special. The introduction was a bit off-putting. The hostess initially told me they didn’t serve the dish and that it was only available at the Grill, not the restaurant. I pulled it up online to show her, but she still seemed unsure. When I went to the bar, both bartenders said the same thing—until someone finally pulled out the menu and there it was, listed right at the top. Not the best first impression. Once sorted, I ordered the Shucked, Fried & Stirred special, which is available at the bar only. For $39, you get a half dozen oysters, fries, a petite salad, and a martini—solid value. The food, paired with a fantastic entertainer singing and playing piano throughout the evening, completely made up for the earlier confusion. Overall, it ended up being a great solo date night spot, and I’d definitely return.
Awesome place. Killer food. Great wine. Great menu. Great service. But pending 400+ for a terrible valet service is problematic. Especially when the valet had a charge. Happy to pay. Not happy to wait, both at arrival and departure. Really takes an amazing experience and kills it.
Del Frisco’s is known as an upscale steakhouse with elegance and class, which is exactly why my wife and I chose it to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the food was good, it wasn’t memorable. Compared to Nick & Sam’s, Perry’s Steakhouse, and Dakota’s, the steaks here simply didn’t measure up in flavor or overall savoring. The service was where the evening really missed the mark. Our server cleared away our appetizer plates and silverware but never replaced my wife’s utensils. When our entrées arrived, she had to sit and wait for silverware—thankfully, I tend to say a long blessing before meals. To make matters worse, the server stepped on my size 14 Alexander McQueens (a $600 pair of shoes) several times throughout the night. My wife and I still did our best to enjoy our anniversary, but for a $317 bill plus a $50 tip, the experience was disappointing. This was not the level of service or attention we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe I’ll give it another try in six months, but this visit was a letdown.
I visited Del Frisco‘s for my husband‘s birthday, December 13, 2025 I made reservations confirmed my reservation. I did let them know that it was my husband‘s birthday. They dropped the ball on that because we were supposed to have something on our table to let our waiter or waitress know that it was my husband‘s birthday. Also, my reservation was for 830. We didn’t get seated until 907 and then when we sat there for about 15 to 20 minutes with no water, no waiter came by to ask us if we would like something to drink if we would like water so they drop the ball on that and then finally when we started getting service it took forever to get the drinks to come to our table we finally got water and then when it was time to order, I put in the appetizer along with the dinner because I was concerned that we would have to wait even longer if we separated the two finally when our food came out as though we thought we ended up with somebody else’s food on our table so then that way waiter took the food back off the table and said I apologize this is not your food thank God we didn’t touch it, but to me that’s like cross contamination because the waiter didn’t know if we touched it or if we were sick or anything so I didn’t appreciate that so once our food finally came out, the food was actually delicious but it wasn’t what I asked for I asked for a well done steak and I got medium rare so it still have pink all in the middle, but it was still nonetheless. It was still good. I didn’t say send it back because I was worried about. We would have to wait another 45 minutes to get service. Our waiter asked us what were we celebrating and I told him that we were celebrating my husband‘s birthday and he said well why don’t you have a Tax saying that it’s your husband‘s birthday and I said I don’t know I don’t work here but it’s OK. I kept noticing that every time they the waiter made a mistake. I kept on saying it’s OK it’s OK but then I told my husband That I’m tired of saying it’s OK because none of that was OK. That is a very this is a very upscale restaurant and we didn’t get upscale service. The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. The long wait was terrible so I don’t think that I would ever visit again. Our bill ended up coming up to $330 which was no problem we still tipped the waiter $70 even though I don’t feel that he deserved it because all of that staff that was on that side like they were supposed to take care of us that it’s like everybody disappeared so we were just sitting there and sitting there and it was just terrible service so that was my first in my last and it happened to be my husband‘s birthday, which made it really bad because I was kept apologizing to my husband for the bad service and that maybe we should’ve went somewhere else.
Del Frisco on Olive St, Dallas, TX. Services was great. We waited a while for our entrees to come out. We were celebrating a birthday. Since it is Restaurant week I decided to take advantage of their $99 person deal, which included a starter, entree, side and desert. I had the wedge salad which was delicious, the Lamb Chops that were just mediocre ( not seasoned at all) and the Strawberry hibiscus cheesecake. I requested that the cheesecake was packaged to go....this is where it all went WRONG!! Once home I check my desert that was packaged to go...YOU CAN NOT TELL ME THIS IS WHAT THEY OFFER AS A DESERT. PLEASE OBSERVE WHAT THEY GAVE ME...THE CHEESECAKE WAS LITERALLY A BITE AND THEN THEY HAD THE NERVES TO THROW A STRAWBERRY IN THE BOX ,THAT WAS BIGGER THAN THE BITE OF CHEESECAKE! THEY COMPLETELY PLAYED IN MY FACE. THIS WAS VERY INTENTIONAL. I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED MY MEAL AFTER PACKAGED. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE MANAGER TODAY.
I visited Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in Uptown Dallas during restaurant week, and compared to the steakhouse scene in DFW this one missed the mark. I have been to the Plano location numerous times and always had a great experience, but this visit fell short. The highlight of the evening was the bar. I had a couple of cocktails before our reservation and enjoyed both the drinks and the friendly conversation with the bar staff. The restaurant staff was also pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was where the experience suffered. We ordered the steak medium plus and it arrived very undercooked, closer to rare. After sending it back, it returned almost exactly the same. The steak had little to no seasoning, and when we tried to add the garlic butter for flavor, it was overpowering. The sides, including the lobster mac and the chateau potatoes, were also quite bland. Overall it was a disappointing experience, and I am not sure I would choose to dine at this location again.

Del Frisco's Eagle Steak House in Dallas offers a dining experience that leaves much to be desired, particularly in terms of service. While the food was acceptable, it was overshadowed by the slow and inattentive service we encountered during our visit. Upon arrival, we noticed that aside from one other table, we were the only patrons in the main dining area. Despite the lack of guests, the service was disappointingly sluggish. There was a significant wait between our appetizer and main course, and we found ourselves having to seek out our server to order dessert. The server seemed to exhibit little interest in providing attentive service, which detracted from the overall experience. In terms of food presentation, the dishes were quite simple compared to what one might expect from a high-end steakhouse. The loaded baked potato was merely satisfactory, and unfortunately, the steaks were overcooked, lacking the precision that one hopes for when dining at a steakhouse. To top it off, the desserts were disappointingly small, leaving us wanting more. Overall, while the food was acceptable, the lack of service and attention to detail made for a less than stellar dining experience. I would recommend exploring other steakhouses in the area that might offer a more enjoyable combination of quality food and attentive service.
