My first time there was yesterday and my order was good but my instructions were not followed. I decided to give them a second chance today and it was DELICIOUS!!!! It’s a drive in burger spot and they’ll come to your car, no need to get out. Some days they have tater tots, other days fries, and both sometimes. I guess it depends on what they have in stock. They have two types of buns, plain and poppy seed and a drink comes with the meal. Very affordable, tasty and convenient for the location. I’ll definitely be back!!!!
Keller Drive-In is such a hidden gem! My grandma used to work here when I was a kid, so stopping by today felt really nostalgic. The place definitely has an old-school, run-down charm, but the food is so worth it. The burgers were delicious — especially with the poppy seed buns — and the crispy tots and fries were perfect. I recommend getting the double cheeseburger since the patties are on the thinner side, but the flavor was amazing. The lady who came to our car to take our order was so sweet and made the whole visit even better. We really enjoyed our time here. Such a classic spot with great food and even better memories! 🍔✨
Just like everyone said, excellent hamburgers, great onion rings and a fantastic 50s vibe. Really enjoyed meeting Casey C. She is super nice, very friendly, and made us laugh. Service was quick efficient and exactly what we ordered. She made good recommendations on what to have. We were there about 1 o’clock on Saturday.
Old school drive in burger joint. Low prices with great food. An amazing bang for your buck that you can't really find anymore. Had a double bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a sweet tea and it was $11. You will be hard pressed to find a better burger and even if you did, you would probably have to pay 2-3 times the price. There is a reason I'm a die hard regular here.
1st time here and the No. 5 was bomb. Definitely add the grilled onions, they add so much depth to the burger. Both fried onions (crispy and tasty) and tater tots were also very good. The drive in experience also adds to the vibe of the place. Recommended, especially considering the affordability.
Great prices for tasty food. Servers were happy, friendly, and helpful with questions. Food orders came out very quick considering they are not previously prepared. Easy access from northwest hwy. We ordered hamburgers that were modified without errors. I got mine with the grilled onions, which were fantastic. My friend got her’s without onions and tater tots. The “dive” spot comes from the dated decor & grounds, but food is still “spot on” drive in eats!
I honestly think the burger I got here was the best I've had considering the ingredients were super simple. The fries and onion rings are good, but the burgers are definitely the stars of the show. I probably wouldn't go for a long walk in that neighborhood to burn off the calories after dark though, just in case you're considering it.
Total dive place and I loved it. I mean, what’s not to love in a business this run down that puts out some of the tastiest food for such a low price? The #5 Special burger and onion rings were both perfectly cooked, and sent me on down the road happy. I made the detour in my trip plans to try this place and it did not disappoint.
Always wanted to try this place and so glad I finally did this summer! The food is unique and great and the prices are very affordable!! Our waitress was also very sweet and helpful. I’m very glad a place like this is still around, definitely feels like your taking a step back in time, I love it! I recommend this spot to all in the area.
I really enjoyed the food, the hamburgers were delicious, and the service was very fast. I would gladly recommend it.

Still one of THE best cheeseburgers in all of DFW after all these years! I don't know how they keep their prices affordable and their quality so consistent in these modern times. If you don't want …
Great food, fast friendly service at a reasonable price. It get really packed during the day.
Really good burgers & fries. \nWe used to always go as kids with my family. Now I go with friends!
I have been eating Keller's #5 since 1962. Still the best!! I love the car hops and watching people drive through the parking lot picking up take out and beer. Takes you back in time
Quick service. Friendly staff. Authentic drive in experience. Food was hot and fresh. Amazing flavor. Would definitely recommend trying once. Less than 10$ for a double bacon cheeseburger and fries
Still the best burgers anywhere! Keller' has a fresh new coat of paint and that are now taking credit and debit cards. \n\nThey have increased the prices just a bit yet so have most places. We got …
I heard about this on YouTube, so I went there to see what the hub·bub was all about. So, we took that 30 minute drive to Dallas. To be honest, this place did not disappoint. The fries and tater to…
This has been on my must try burger place in DFW. Got a chance on Thursday afternoon. I got there and was not sure on the procedure. One of the wait staff walked by and I told her this is my first time and how do I order my food. She said that she will be taking my order. Ordered Cheese burger with Jalapeños and fries. When the food was ready she got it to the car and took my CC for payment and came back with receipt. Food: Burger was delicious with mustard, jalapeño’s and onions. Fries were on the oily side. All in all a good experience and one burger place off the list.
This classic Dallas burger joint offers quick, friendly service and delicious burgers at a great price. After parking under the canopy, the car hop walks out and takes your order, then returns with drinks and amount owed. If you pay by credit/ debit they do need to know tip percentage, if giving one. It’s just an old payment system. Then food arrives shortly thereafter. They easily accommodated a Bun Free Order, where the cook subs the bun for iceburg lettuce, special sauce on the side. #5 is the way! The onion rings and poppy seed buns are customer favorites as well as my husband’s. It's a local institution with a history as rich as its burgers.
I recently visited this hamburger shack on a trip to the Dallas area. It was a drive-in spot with a rustic, old-school feel. The service was quick and the food was as expected. The burger was simple but still tasted good. The fries and tater tots were average. The price of everything was cheap enough to give this a try instead of the other fast food chains. Go for nostalgia, not necessarily the quality of food.
The good- the burgers have always been outstanding! They have an old school, made to order vibe that is lacking in the national chains. My nephew was hesitant to try one, but after the first couple o…

Great food, nostalgia, and service. The onion rings are legit. , Definitely trying it again.
Good service and Great Hamburger, it's was simple but delicious, always heard about it but never came till now, will eat here when I'm in the area..
Brings back memories of ole school burgers. They are great! The place is laid back and you can order beer! Food is brought to your car like and the tray is placed on your window like Sonic Drive In…
First off they come to your car no need to get out of your vehicle. I got the #5 special. fries and drinks are sold separately. Total came out to like 9.35 for a double meat burger with fries and…
Great burgers. The ladies working here seems tired but were nice. The place is getting run down for sure.
Was a decent place, the service was good, didn't take very long to get. Came here with high expectations from what I had read, the food was smaller portions but fitting for the price. The burger was average, and the fries tasted like they were cooked on old oil.
We were nearby (at the bookstore) and wanted a burger for dinner - So we found this place. We’d watched a short video on the the restaurant being spotlighted just 4 months prior and the reviews were great! The No. 5 special is what we both got. It’s à la carte so I chose tots and my husband ordered fries (onion rings weren’t on the menus [that we could see]). We took our food home instead of the VERY COOL OPTION to eat in the drive in - I’ll say, I had high hopes but it landed flat. The poppyseed bun was cool differentiator, however past that, not very flavorful. I’m ONLY ASSUMING but the beef isn’t seasoned, just grilled fresh (which is great) but lacked a punch. Service was great! And the food came out reasonably fast.
Ordered a burger and chili fries. Use to come here all the time back in the day. I remember the food being better, to be honest. The burger was ok, nothing wrong with it. Lacked a little seasoning. The chili fries were just bad. The service was very good. The place is old and it shows, has a charm to it.
This is a 5-star burger joint that loses a star for no beer and another star for looking like it's going to fall over. place definitely needs an infusion of cash, and quick. It really looks like it…

Don't believe a 4.4 rating. How is this possible? The nice lady that has worked there for 40 years was great. Kind and helpful. She deserves a raise. But the place looks like it's been abandoned for 40 years. The food as is not great and they didn't even have their full menu available today. Don't get curious and think about trying it. Wendy's is better. Now the food is super cheap / affordable. So if you want a nice older lady bringing really cheap food, then go try it. But please don't go because you have heard the food is worth trying.
my girlfriend and I went here recently and let's just say it seems it's gone downhill. the sauce was lacking, the bun was bad, and for what we paid $24+ it just wasn't what we were expecting based on the reviews. very mediocre food. the only positive is the lady who took our order was nice. they lost a customer and wont be coming back here
