We went to Benihana on Belt Line in Addison in the middle of the day and didn’t know if we would get a show — but we did! Our chef and entertainer, One, was so much fun and made the meal extra special. We also had a great waiter who took good care of us. The food was amazing! My favorites were the chicken and shrimp, but the steak was pretty yummy too. If you come here with a party, request One — you’ll have a blast!

Cam was our chef and he was AMAZING! He seasoned everything perfectly. Even though, my mom and I were the only ones at the table he didn't skimp on anything. I loved his laser light show and knife skills. I've never had a better time at a restaurant. The waiter was very attentive as well. I almost don't want to let the secret out but this is the best Benihans in Dallas. We are always seated quickly and they are so friendly here. Come here for great food and atmosphere. went on christmas eve and it was extremely busy, but we were still seated quickly. our server was nice. i had the ribs and there were so many on the plate and they were plated beautifully. they were delicious. the bbq sauce that comes on the side was a bit tangy, but not bad. i had the potato cakes as my side, and they were fairly good, though i felt they needed just slightly more salt. my sister had the ribeye and it was very good. i was pleasantly surprised to see that they will fill your to-go box for you.

The only complaint was the lighting, it was too dark inside. My reservation was for noon, and it was a bright sunny day. The setting was more for romance than lunch.

This place is every bit a 5 STAR as others say. Exceptional food; lamb chops perfect, ribeye delicious. Thomas was our server and he was GREAT- sociable, fast, efficient- and one of the best things ever is watching the kitchen area as ALL the staff get along so well, help each other out, seem to enjoy their jobs while making things wonderful for customers, and things flow smoothly. Thomas quipped - they ARE like family.! Nice atmosphere- but its fairly dark inside and lol- since we ate early (we were on EST) pretty darned bright stepping outside after dinner. No problem however.

I’m in town just for a few nights & so happy that I found this place! The service (at the bar -solo diner) was instantly incredible, like they’ve been waiting for me all day! I really wish that I would’ve caught the name of my bartender to add on here, but she’s the one who I talked about 3 olives in a martini with. She perfectly made my drink & helped me with slight modifications to my meal, likely to get sending my indecisiveness. Regardless, the food was truly wonderful & the service was memorable to absolutely go back!

Our server, Niles was great. Very upbeat and made several suggestions. He was attentive, and very personable. He boxed our leftovers carefully. The food was delicious. I had the wedge salad with sirloin. The sirloin was cooked to order, was very tender and flavorful. The wedge was actually a small head of lettuce. The blue cheese was pungent, salty and plentiful. The plating was lovely, and the bacon was perfect. The popover was steaming when I tore it open. It was flaky, and had a great mouth feel. I loved it. The adult mac and cheese was rich, and creamy. My only criticism was that it's very dark, which is by design.

Our waiter Thomas was truly outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We ordered the ahi tuna, burger, chicken and waffles, and crab cakes. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented, but the crab cakes stood out as the highlight — perfectly seasoned, full of fresh crab flavor, and cooked to perfection. It was such an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

I can’t say enough good things about Kenny’s grill. My mother and I ordered an espresso martini and Bloody Mary to start off. Both drinks were phenomenal. We also got a tenderloin with a wedge and the chicken entrée. The tenderloin was thin, but super tender and cooked to perfection. I was sipping on my martini, and the waiter Chelsea was thoughtful enough to bring me a chilled glass halfway through our meal to switch it out and keep it cold. The robust flavors and fair prices are absolutely top-tier. Come check this place out. You won’t regret it.

The reviews are right. 10/10. Absolutely perfection. I got the special which was carne asada. It was so good, I had to come back again the next day and bring more people. I don't live here, and I will dream about this place. Hands down my favorite restaurant in the state. Service is fantastic. Martinis are always cold. Absolutely zero complaints.

I went to Kenny's, unannounced, and on a Saturday evening. The place was very busy. The door host was very helpful in getting me a space, even though tables were fully booked. As an international traveller and not having a US mobile I was impressed that the host explained she would find me when a table became available. After a short walk around tge establishment, I was intercepted by a manager who guided me to a seat at the bar. The barman was equally helpful and pleasant despite there being a full capacity restaurant. He was also attentive to checking on whether I needed anything and kept topping up my soft drink. The meal, ribs, was plentiful and nicely slow cooked so the meat fell off the bones. I would have liked some beers available on tap as bottled beer is never the same. However, the bar does portray a cocktail style environment. Though there were no prices of these on the menu I was given. Nevertheless,I left feeling I was valued as a customer and that the restaurant had been managed very well to provide a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Mark, served us great drinks (Paloma & Leisure Time) that started our visit off right. Once our table was ready we met Kelsey, our server. She was really attentive, nice, friendly, and made sure we had what we needed. We then talked to the manager, Rigo to tell him about how great things were. He was also excellent! First of all, I just want to say the overall ambience and service of Benihanas is great, but it just didn’t live up to what I was expecting in terms of taste and quality based on pricing. I definitely feel like you pay more for the experience than the food because the portion sizes are crazy small for what you’re paying. I ordered the seafood combo which was about $40 and I received five pieces of shrimp two scallops and two small pieces of squid that were chopped and drowned in vegetables, very disappointing.

We waited over an hour pasted our reservation. The cook didn’t know how to cook the food right. He didn’t serve us out sauces before he started cooking and we had to ask for them. I had to tell him when to take my food off the grill or it all would have been over cooked. The rice had burnt spots and my shrimp. I added extra garlic butter and mustard sauce to everything and still wasn’t right because the food was over cooked. I got a refund for my dish only and for the beer and hot sake but that wasn’t enough overall it was horrible. The soup broth didn’t have any flavor and my hot sake had red things floating in it. We always got it the Dallas location which is great but this location sucks! If I never had Benihanas before this experience would have made me over eat there again. But this has been my favorite restaurant for the last 20 years. I just wont be going back to this location ever! You can see how dry and the burnt pieces in the rice from this photo. Just terrible.

We visited Benihana in Addison with a 9:00 PM reservation and arrived at 8:47 PM. We were seated around 9:10 PM, which was completely fine — no issue there. About 10 minutes later, a server came to take our drink orders. Roughly 30 minutes after that, we received our soup and salad. Unfortunately, when the server placed the bowls on the table, her hand was inside the rim of the bowl touching the food area, which was already concerning. After that… nothing. We had all reviewed the menu and were ready to order, but no one came back to our table. An entire hour passed without our server returning to check on us or take our entrée order. The only interaction we had was drinks, soup, and salad. No communication. No updates. No explanation. By the time I asked to speak to a manager, it was 10:30 PM — 30 minutes before closing. The restaurant, which had been packed when we arrived, was nearly empty. Tables around us had cleared out, staff were cleaning, and yet somehow no one noticed that our table had been sitting there for over an hour without placing a food order. When I spoke with the manager, she said she “wasn’t aware” that we had been waiting that long. That was extremely disappointing. It should not take a guest tracking someone down for management to realize a table has been neglected for over an hour. A chef named Arron was sent to our table to cook for us and honestly, he tried to save the experience. He was professional, kind, and repeatedly apologized — which, respectfully, should have been the manager’s responsibility. He did his best to lighten the mood, but at that point we were already frustrated and over it. We were told they were short staffed, but that still does not excuse a complete lack of communication or basic table checks. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. In the end, we received a small discount, but we still paid for a meal that started off with over an hour of being ignored. The manager never came back to personally follow up with us at the table. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Poor communication, lack of attentiveness, and management oversight made what should have been an enjoyable night out turn into frustration. I would not recommend this location based on our experience.
