Maya's Modern Mediterranean

Nice place, great service and patient with new customers not familiar with the menu. I had the honey chicken kebab with an Israeli salad and air fried fries. My wife had the meat kebab with Brussel slaw and fries. My chicken was tender, sweet and very tasty. The salad was nice and refreshing. I ate all of the fries and some of my wife’s. Her kebabs were so tender they practically fell apart. I ate some of that too. Didn’t get a bite of the slaw, but it looked great. This place feels like a secret everyone knows about. Not a lot of seating in the restaurant itself, but there were at least 6 other dinners there with us and about as many take out orders.

Delicious healthy Mediterranean in Hillcrest Village. As a vegan I really appreciate this place and think their food is top notch. A welcomed change from the burgers and pizza that populate every other corner. The staff is courteous and helpful. The pita and hummus are the best in town!

I was so sad to see the one in Casa Linda close down but I am glad they have another location. They have hands down the best Hummus I've had in all of DFW and all the staff is super friendly.

Wow, this is a gem! We live close enough to walk over and we feel so spoiled to have this in our neighborhood! The food was excellent. The turmeric rice was flavorful and the chicken was juicy and grilled to perfection. I love that the kids menu has air fried options so I can give them healthier food. The dining room is pretty small, but it’s very clean and bright decor. We will definitely be coming back!

Recently ordered takeout from this location and it was a great experience! We got family style meals which had generous portions of each item and plenty of food for our large gathering. Everything was delicious and very fresh! Highly recommend!

The food was fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the Harissa Chicken Soup. This will be my go to place when I don't want to cook.

Had the pan smeared Salmon in a bowl and the kabobs. Also had the hummus with pita. The food tasted amazing and loved everything we tried there. We will definitely make this a regular spot to visit and would recommend it.

Simple menu, yet plenty of options to mix things up. The "best hummus in Dallas" claims are legit, but I'm also a sucker for their shkug. I'll be back again and again. This small, locally owned establishment deserves your patronage, too.

I haven’t had the chance to visit this location yet, but definitely give them a try if you haven’t! I usually go to Casa Linda in Dallas. Everything I’ve had has been consistent and delicious. Friendly people as well. Supporting you guys and wishing you the best!

I want to invite everyone to come check out this jewel of a spot. The owner has gone above and beyond to make sure this place is perfect. I’m not a big Hummus fan, but I can say this is the best I have ever had. My favorite portion is the salmon and they prepare it perfect every time and it never dry. Add the honey soy as your sauce and you will be blessed. If Salmon is not your thing the chicken shawarma or the Beef Kabob are both fabulous as well. I promise you will not regret stopping by here for your meal.

Tried this out last week. Everything my girlfriend and I had was great. The air baked fries are awesome. I also had the falafel and it was the right amount of crispy without being dry. We will definitely go back.

Maya’s is a small neighborhood Mediterranean spot with clearly fresh ingredients, but overall the food was just okay. Nothing was bad or offensive — it was simply on the bland side and lacked the kind of flavor that makes you want to come back. Fresh, yes. Memorable, not really. Like a lot of places these days, it also felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Dinner for three, after tip, ran into the low $70s, which would be fine if the food really stood out — but it didn’t quite justify the price. One thing I didn’t appreciate was the surprise 3% credit card fee added at checkout. If you’re going to pass that on to customers, a clearly posted sign would go a long way. Little charges like that leave a bad final impression. That said, I can see how some people would enjoy this place for a quick, fresh Mediterranean meal in the neighborhood. It’s not terrible by any means — just not something I’m excited about or likely to return to.

Meh- i went there excited and expecting great food but it left us feeling like we had a subpar experience. The food was average, the service was decent but not personable at all. I don’t know if they were having a bad day… we were the only customers there. We were 4, and ordered a few dishes from the menu. And drinks from the fridge. We went there a few months ago, and we will not be going back. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but seeing the 4.8 rating today felt misleading … and i had to give my opinion.
