The food was extremely flavorful and honestly felt made with love. In my opinion, a truly authentic experience. Cocktails were incredible, the food was amazing with great portion size, the ambience was great, and our waitress (Marianna - thank you!) was so attentive, patient, and kind. You could make this a quick and cheaper trip or take your time and make it a nice date night. 10/10!

Food was delicious! We had the asada tacos and I have the enchiladas verdes and a lemonade. The tacos were very delicious as were the enchiladas with the rice and beans. They serve chips with three different salsas for the table. Each salsa was unique and tasty. The lemonade was very good too. We ordered two more orders of tacos to go! Will definitely be back and try more of their menu options. It’s located upstairs & has a nice vibe for a date, bringing family, or friends. Very reasonably priced. The temperature inside was very comfortable and nice given how hot it was outside.

I have been looking for a new regular Mexican restaurant to eat at and Mesero is it. Food absolutely amazing, I would recommend the shrimp fajitas or the mole enchiladas. Drinks are delicious especially the pomegranate margarita. All of the sauce for the chips are absolutely incredible. Thank you Marlena for serving our crazy table. And desert was amazing, 5 milk cake.

We were personally welcomed by managers Erik & Elvis, whose passion for hospitality shines through in every detail. Their personal invite and attention made us feel more like family than guests. That level of intentionality is rare—and unforgettable. Now let’s talk about the service. Our server Mariana was absolutely incredible—attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our meal amazing. She knew the menu inside and out, made thoughtful recommendations, and never missed a beat. Her warmth and professionalism really made the night stand out. And the food… WOW. We started with the Crèmaqueso, a creamy, flavorful dip that was gone way too fast. For entrées, the Carne Asada was grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The Pollo Tacos were equally fantastic, packed with vibrant spices and fresh toppings. The Tejanos Enchiladas were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. We washed it all down with their Strawberry Lemonade (with free refills! Yes, please!), which was refreshingly tart and sweet. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the churros arrived—crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. Mesero delivers on every level—vibe, service, and flavor. It’s clear that every person there cares deeply about the experience they’re creating. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Mesero! 10/10 recommend. We’ll absolutely be back.

The best Mexican food has arrived in Nashville! This is the first location outside of Texas and I'm so glad they chose Nashville. Amazing margaritas, chips and dips, traditional and innovative Mexican dishes. The mole sauce is outstanding. Must get the cinco leches cake! Welcome to Tennessee! Authentic Mexican food at its best!

We went here for a friend’s birthday lunch. For the atmosphere, food, and service, this was one of the best places in Nashville I have been. Jocelyne was the sweetest and most attentive server I have had in a long time! Drinks were fantastic, the salmon tacos were absolutely delicious, and all the staff was incredibly sweet. I cannot speak higher of this place and I will be recommending to everyone I know!

Beautiful restaurant with good vibes and ample seating. Drink menu is large with so many great options. Our personal fav was the Froze. The Doña skinny was good but next time I will get the Size 2 instead. If you get the Froze with salt on the rim it’s like the best frozen strawberry margarita in Nashville. Dave at the bar is the best! The queso mesero was delicious.. if you get The Duo then you get the guac too and that’s a great deal. We loved the cremaqueso enchiladas and the Ahí tuna nachos. All in all .. great first experience and we will be back!

Wow, wow, wow!! On my list of top 3 Mexican in Nashville. Maybe the best service I have experienced in Nashville, no joke. The food was excellent (everything from the salsa, to the guacamole, the margaritas to the asada fajitas were so FRESH!). Definitely recommend for a date night dinner or a nice lunch. Will certainly be back.

We went in with a group of 10, and had little to no wait, kids 5 & up, all the way to adults and grandparents. We all agreed this was an incredible surprise. The churro pancakes were incredible, as were the Palomas with ElVelo Blanco Tequila, all the adults wound up ordering a round after tasting. Every dish was flavorful, service was fast and hospitable and the whole group had a great time!!

What an amazing place. Freshest ingredients around. The food is amazing and so was the atmosphere. What really made my experience so amazing, what stood out the most, was the staff. They went above and beyond to create an amazing guest experience. The management, the food runners, and especially the bartender. What an amazing experience. I manage restaurants and I wanted to scoop the entire staff up and come work for me. I will absolutely recommend this place to everybody I know.

We had the fajitas and braised pork. The beef was cooked perfectly and the pork was great as well, fair warning though if you order the pork be hungry it is a lot of food!! Also wanted to add that the chips and salsa that come with the meal are excellent, with 3 different "salsa" types to enjoy.

We went for brunch today and I felt like it was the last straw. I ordered the avocado toast and it tasted like it was 2 days old. My husband really disliked the huevos Mesero. My kids could not eat the french toast because it was too dry. The only thing that was decent was the soup. I feel like we’ve given this place a lot of chances since we live nearby, but honestly it is not worth it.
