Amazing food and service at Stillery Midtown. The Atmosphere is great and the street is lively and bright with music playing. Try the catfish and chips dish and the Mac and cheese with chicken on top. The burger was also great and all he portion sizes were good. You won't be disappointed. The live music was fun and entertaining and I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. So much to choose from and service was surprisingly quick. We were five people who ordered five different things. The smoked whiskey drink recommended but all the cocktails looked really good and there is a selection of mocktails. There is a paid parking lot right next to the restaurant. Thanks for a great night!

Delicious apps & great drinks. Live music. I’d recommend grabbing a seat on their patio (weather permitting). The only negative is the occasional whiff of trash - that’s just being in a busy/restaurant heavy part of a city for ya.

10/10 everything was so delicious!! The dos perros beer is definitely the local beer I recommend. If you’re going to be in Nashville come check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!!

We spent 5 days in Nashville and on the first day happened upon this hidden gem in Mid-Town. Our waitress was super friendly to chat with, and the food was outstanding! We tried the jalapeño wontons and the brussel sprouts for an appetizer then enjoyed the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with mac & cheese (so good!). We ended up going back on our last night there and enjoyed the bbq chicken flatbread pizza - again, the food was so tasty! You won’t be disappointed if you make the time to stop and get some great food!

My husband and I went for the first time - and ended up going twice, once a day on both days of our trip to Nashville. We were seated and served quickly, staff was quick, kind, and attentive. It was nice to be in a place that wasn't ear-piecing loud like most of mid-town. On the first day, we got the Carnivore Burger and the Mac n Cheese topped with Nashville Hot Chicken. I was skeptical because im not a "spicy" foods fan - but the hot chicken took the Mac to another level!! It's SO good. The next day, we got the Sticky Sweet Pie, literally TO DIE FOR! Can't recommend this place enough. **heads up, come with cash, or else there is a 3.5% charge for using debit/credit **their menu changed Dec 2023 - the menu in this review is the current menu

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good live music. We had drinks on the balcony and enjoyed some tunes.

We had an inconvenient with the server but the bartender (Steve) saved our night! Delicious food and great service. Also thanks to the manager for handling the situation 🫶

The service was great, they only had one waitresses and so it did take a minute so dont go if you are in a rush. Amazing fried cheese and food all around. Same for drinks.

Buss. Buuuuusssss. I absolutely killed those Nashville chicken nachos. Bbq pizza was phenomenal. The chef himself even came and delivered a special sauce he made and wanted us to try. Service was great too.

My wife and I were just visiting Nashville, and we wanted to try a good burger place. Based on the pictures we choose the Stillery and I am so glad we did! They served us so quick and the food quality was absolutely worth the money. I tried the MC Burger which I was skeptical about at first but it was delicious! We would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

The food here is really good, and you get a lot for the price. The beignets were delicious, and I loved the creme with it. The chicken biscuit was good, and the bloody Mary had a good spicy to it. The fried pickles were solid.

Excellent customer service from the staff. Loved our waitress. She was honest about the menu and the burrito she recommended definitely was amazing. The beignets were delicious and made to perfection in my opinion. I definitely recommend the brunch here. Very chill atmosphere and great food and drinks.

This place is something you really have to try when you’re in Nashville. They have the best service and for a bar… the food was FANTASTIC. The Nashville hot max n cheese was the best I’ve ever had and the pizza was phenomenal. They accommodated our group of 12 in two different booths and we had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Great spot on broadway away from the crowds. Drinks were good. Wings were delicious. Great overall experience when in town we will definitely be stopping by.

Mac and cheese with hot chicken was phenomenal. Nice drink menu. No draft beers but a good local craft selection of cans and bottles. Our bartender, a dead ringer for Jennifer Lawrence, was awesome- great conversationalist. Open air bar, rooftop deck, cool decor- definitely worth stopping in.

Our group arrived mid day and there was only one server. She did a fantastic job taking care of everyone and keeping things flowing. When we got the food all was great. They are known for the mac and cheese and it didn't disappoint! Wings, and Cheese steak well also great for our group, the house hot wing sauce was perfect. All in all a great meal and I recommend.

Live music was great. Took all kinds of request. Food was excellent. Hua hua punch was great. Had to cut my daughter’s off. Salmon, hot chicken sandwich, Parmesan bread, all very good. Was not terribly crowded when we went but tables were sung to each other. Good view of the street with several four tops.

The steak fingers and Brussel sprouts are amazing. The most comforting and upscale meal I’ve had in a long time. After being at broadway all day this ambiance is welcoming and calm. Service and drinks are great. Overall experience 11/10

We had a fabulous experience here! The food was great, the music was fantastic, the atmosphere was fun, and our server Haden was one of the best servers we've had in a very long time. He is very good at his job and he has a great personality. He was the icing on the cake to an already epic dining experience. Can't wait to go back to The Stillery when we are in Nashville again!!

We didn't try the food and we're lucky to be at the bar for Nashville Tour Stop where local songwriters can play their original tunes. We were blown away by the talent on stage and will be looking to experience this again in the future. It was on the rooftop and they has plastic up to help control the chill as best they could.

A friend of ours recommended this place and man was he ever right! I got the Aloha Jack pizza, delicious with it's thin, crispy crust and perfectly grilled pineapple. My guy got a BBQ pizza which he devoured, and we split the loaded fries, we should have skipped those, it was way too much food...ohhhh darn🤣 Great eclectic bartender, perfect acoustic band, and reasonable prices!

Much better low key place than the fast pace of Broadway. Food was delicious and drinks were fair pours. Atmosphere is really nice. Went I went there was a young lady playing solo guitar and she was good and it was not so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. The bartender Steve was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back when in Nashville.

My wife and I decided to bring in the New Year at The Stillery midtown. It was the best decision we made. It’s located in Midtown so you don’t have to deal with all the out-of-towners on Broadway. They have live music every night, so NYE was no exception. Food was great! Drinks were even greater!! I recommend the spicy chicken flatbread pizza and the Blueberry Smash. However, what really made the evening was the staff. Chris was a great, welcoming and friendly manager who checked on us and the rest of the patrons throughout the evening. Hayden was also a great bartender. Made great drinks, checked on us frequently even though we were seated at a table and not at the bar and was also friendly and helpful. There’s a lot to enjoy in Nashville, but add The Stillery Midtown to your list of must-do list!

Stopped here for lunch on a Monday. Busier than usual, only one bartender, which was very friendly. Despite being shirt staffed, the food was quick and delicious. We enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, a salmon Cesar salad and a Thai chicken salad.

Some of the better bar food around. Pretty pricey, but that’s all of Nashville now. Rooftop was closed until 6pm on this latest weekday visit. Mac and cheese with hot chicken is a real menu highlight. All paid parking either on street or in lots.

Had the pesto chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, the food was great although the sandwich really did need two hands to eat as the menu states. The bar tender was a bit pushy towards other diners to drink more alcohol and even shamed them when didn’t comply. It was very off putting, I took my meal to go at this point as I no longer felt welcomed in the restaurant. Although the food was great, I’m not sure I will return..

Good food and good drinks =great time. We had the bacon jalapeño rangoons, salads, wings, and hot chicken. All were very good choices but it was a bit pricey for the quality and the parking fees.

We decided on The Stillery from the MANY recommendations on TikTok. food and drinks were delicious. i ordered the mac and cheese with nashville hot chicken and the sriracha deviled eggs for an appetizer - 10/10! my family enjoyed their food as well. my only complaint is lack of high chairs (thank goodness we had the stroller)

S

I used to love this place but it seems to be lacking now. They used to have homemade fries, not any more, and I found their pimento burger to be very unremarkable. Don’t go here to work…no wifi. Don’t go here for beer…no drafts. And who ever enjoyed a copper topped bar?! Worst idea ever. No idea why restaurants use them.

Food was great however - service felt grudgingly often and do not go on a hot day.

The Stillery is a typical bar with typical bar food. I mostly stand by that, but after a bit of a wait for our pizzas, think 20 plus min-ish, they were really very good. The mixed drinks were not strong at all and we complained about how little alcohol were in them. Beer all comes in a can. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. They had live music which was nice but in between sets the speaker music was very loud. Our server was authentic to himself and gave us nuggets of wisdom that we say.. yea we get that! He was nice. Overall 3 hours very decently spent!

Nice spot - no beer on tap; however, that is to be expected since their business is built on moonshine. The bartender upstairs ( with the epic beard) was fantastic!! We ordered the pizza with brussel sprouts to try something different. It was pretty dang good and I would order it again.

Food was really good brunch options on the weekend and good cold beer but none on tap.

The staff was friendly and the food was good. Typical bar and grill food. We didn’t order the Mac-n-cheese…probably should have. We did have the Baked Cheese appetizer. It was very good all though the pesto bread could have had more flavor. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries and the Firehouse pizza. The chicken sandwich was good…not great. The pizza was good as well. Overall the quality of food was good. The service was great! The restaurant needed service though….very messy. It always gives me pause when I see a messy restroom. Overall it was a good, not great restaurant.

The atmosphere is great! I went on a Sunday night when they were having rotating artists play their original pieces on the 2nd floor (Living the write life hosted by Michael Gef). The food however was less great. I ordered the hunch punch and Mac and cheese with hot chicken. The drink was average but the food left much to be desired. The Mac and cheese had little flavor by itself, the cheese sauce is thick and gooey, and no one would consider the chicken "hot."

I rarely leave a negative review, but this restaurant needs to step it up for the area. I was sat in a room by myself (see pic) because they didn’t want to give me a table for 1 (where everyone else was sitting because I didn’t want to sit at the bar riding solo), the place was freezing (I saw people walk in and leave…maybe an AC problem), and they didn’t have any beer on draft…what!?! Food was just okay. The only saving grace was that my server, Zach A., was a gem or this review would have been for only 2 stars. Zach was very attentive and the food and beverages were brought quickly to the table.

Was there a change of ownership or focus? I came here because I saw all the good reviews and mouth-watering photos of food and drinks online, but to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. The live music is located on the second floor. Go by the stairs on the side, not inside the first-level dining area. When you get upstairs, stand by the door before the sign "wait to be seated" until someone hopefully noticed you in this not-busy establishment. I came here specifically to try their whiskey "float", but I did not see that on the current menu. I checked that I was not imagining it when I saw it online. Nope, it's all there in many, many reviews and photos. I asked if it's still possible for them to make that even if it's not listed on the current menu. No luck. They were not magicians. Can't bring up the culled. Got their Southern Peach instead and it was nice and refreshing! The same thing happened to the food. I saw that the photos of food online looked amazing, but I suspected that they would be different in real life. I wanted to get the chicken tenders and fries since I love naturally cut fries (I don't know how else to describe those fries even if they might not have been naturally cut), especially ones that looked well-fried and crisp. On the menu that I was holding, the fries were described as crinkle fries... hmm... that doesn't match the photos I've seen online. Sure enough, as I looked around the room, all the fries were those pale, fat crinkle fries. They are fine, but definitely a disappointment when you came expecting those skinny, brown, crisp fries. Also, the chicken tenders were not like what you see online (again). What I saw online were tenders that looked like they were made in the kitchen but what I got was skinny, long rectangular blocks that looked like they came from the frozen food aisle. The sauce (Nashville hot) was good though, so yeah, they were okay. The service was good. They checked on me a few times to refill my water, asked if I needed anything else, if the food/drinks were okay. If I had came here without knowing what I wanted or seen prior photos, it would have been a better experience.

We stopped by while visiting Nashville based on the great reviews. We were first seated right next to the live music, but asked to move outside for a quieter spot and a better view. The waiter denied the request saying “outdoor tables were for parties of 4” and offered to seat us further away from the live music. We were content with that, but we noticed they were seating parties of 2 over there a bit later, which was confusing. I ordered the mac and cheese with hot chicken—mac was great, super cheesy, but the chicken and sauce fell a little flat. The sauce had a grainy texture I didn’t love. Overall, it was decent but not quite what we hoped for.

Old fashioneds were great, “Nashville Hot” wings pretty solid.

I liked the atmosphere and it's not as noisy as other restaurants. Service was good. Since food has the biggest impact on ratings I'm giving it 3 stars. Their chicken sandwich was disappointing, not what I expected and this should be what they do well. Our pizza was fair, but the others pizzas looked good. I love deviled eggs but didn't care for the appetizer, it was fair also.

If you are looking for a local vibe away from the tourist traps, this is the spot. I have to talk about the food first: The steak sandwich is an absolute 5/5. The aioli sauce is magic, and the fries were fried to perfection. Our waitress was super helpful with recommendations, too. Honest note on the drinks: My cocktail had way too much ice for a mason jar and got watered down pretty fast. I'd recommend ordering something neat or a martini to avoid that. I saw they have a rooftop schedule for the warmer months, so I will definitely be back in the spring to try that out!

My biggest complaint is that it was cold. We were seated by the garage door. We asked if it could be closed and the answer was no. We asked to be moved but there was nowhere to move us to except OUTSIDE in the cold and DAMP. Yes there was a heater but those typically leave you cold or very hot. If it were up to me, we would have left but our friends from out of town had made a specific request to dine with you. Your host was nice but needs training. Initially he couldn't find our reservation, knew nothing about your happy hour and brought our friends to the wrong table. I don't believe there was any mention of their not being a bathroom on the main floor. If there was, we were not directed to it. Finally, our friend requested a Dark and Stormy and was told you didn't have dark rum in what seemed a sizable bar. Our waitress and food runner were excellent. The food was good and hot but we won't be back or recommend.

First the bad: Chicken sandwich was tough, dry, and not good like it had been heated up in the microwave. Fries weren't seasoned. Mac and cheese with chicken pretty much just had no taste. The good: Beer was good. Food came out quick (probably because it was precooked and heated up in a microwave). Bartender was good so left a good tip, not her fault the food wasn't good. The place wasn't busy like others near it so should've been our sign to stay away. Lots of people don't complain, we just don't go back.

We did not enjoy this restaurant. We took our 13 month old here for lunch. I am not sure I would say this place is kid friendly because while they had high chairs we had a long wait for food and they had no changing stations in the men's or women's restrooms. But aside from that our food was pretty basic. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was a let down for me. My wife got a burger and it was good, but not $15 good. Please take this review with a grain a salt, this is just a personal review and I am sure this place is loved by others , but it just wasn't our scene and the food just didn't do it for us. On a plus side it had cool inside decor and a very nice inside/outside seating.

I’ve had mixed experiences at the Midtown location. My usual order is the Nashville hot chicken with mac and cheese. One occasion the chicken was overcooked, and after the second visit I was fighting for my life at the gas station bathroom some 30-40 miles out. The atmosphere is nice and parking is easy. I’ve never had any issues at the downtown location, so this seems specific to Midtown. Hopefully it’s just a consistency issue that can be addressed.

Me and my boyfriend stopped to eat on a Wednesday at 12, we were met with a kind server, but we waited an hour to get our food, and food sub par for the price which is about ($25) per person, there where only 3 other tables of people, so the store was understaffed and very slow for a not busy restaurant. Very disappointed.
