A truly beautiful space with an ambiance to match. Service was probably some of the best I’ve ever gotten with everyone being insanely attentive. It never felt like we had to wait for anything. The food was incredible. We got the grilled cheese canapés, corn and truffle beignets, red snapper, a chefs special of bucatini pasta, passionfruit entremet, and the chocolate gateau. Plus, they provided their complimentary table side sundae which was delicious and a super nice surprise. The red snapper was both of our favorites so I highly recommend. The perfect date night spot or for a fancy girls night!
Truly, one of the best restaurants in Dallas! From the beautiful ambience, to the impeccable service and food, we thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an intimate dinner for two, or even for a larger celebratory gathering as this place is definitely worth the visit!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. I like to treat myself out occasionally and Mr. Charles has been on the list of places to try all year. I walked in last night with no reservation and was offered a seat at the bar fairly quickly. Dylan was simply amazing. He greeted and welcomed me and brought out the drink and appetizer menus. I don't drink so I asked for a mocktail and requested something fruity and refreshing. Dylan did not disappoint. There were so many interesting items to choose from and he helped me in making my decisions. The blue fin crudo was absolutely divine! I finished it off with the piece of egg salad and caviar toast. Perfect palate cleanser. I decided to indulge and order the ribeye. I ordered it medium and it was perfect. I requested it with a side of mashed potatoes. Perfect compliment. I ended my meal with the passion fruit dessert. I requested a candle for personal reasons and it was simply the best. I enjoyed the taste of the white chocolate and pistachio to offset the tart flavor of the passion fruit. I feel like I had the best seat at the bar. I met so many interesting people and had the best time people watching. I honestly think Dylan made my night so much better and he'll never even understand why. But if he sees this, thank you, Dylan. You are wonderful and last night was one of the best meals I've ever had.
My husband and I recently had dinner at Mister Charles, and from start to finish, the experience was truly outstanding. The decor is absolutely fabulous—chic, modern, and perfect for a date night or special occasion. The ambiance alone sets the tone for a memorable evening. Service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and incredibly gracious. When our Spanish Octopus came out before our canapés, the staff went above and beyond by removing the canapés from our bill without us even asking. That kind of generosity and attention to detail really stood out. The food was excellent. We started with the canapés: • Grilled Cheese with Truffled Cheddar and Prosciutto: Decadent and delicious. • Osetra Caviar and Egg Salad on Toasted Brioche: So much flavor packed into one elegant bite. • Lobster Roll with Fennel Salad: Fabulous—fresh, buttery, and balanced. The Spanish Octopus with patatas bravas, artichokes, and mojo rojo was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For mains, I had the halibut with cauliflower, which was incredibly fresh and satisfying. My husband enjoyed his filet, which was cooked to perfection. We left feeling full and happy, already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend Mister Charles for anyone looking for a refined yet welcoming dining experience. I do wish the dinner was a bit more spaced out. The dishes came out a bit too quickly so if you prefer a more drawn out experience, you need to mention that to your server.
Has a fantastic dinner celebrating our anniversary yesterday at MC, the service was great, fantastic attention to detail, the food was delicious and I appreciated that it was served very very hot like it just came out (as it should be), not lukewarm. Very pleased with the experience, we will be back!
My friend and I had the most incredible dining experience at Mister Charles. The ambiance was elegant, classy, and romantic, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. The service was impeccable, with our waitress Alana being attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The support staff ensured our glasses were always full and made us feel like VIPs. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the oysters, fois gras, and caviar egg salad, all of which were bursting with flavor. The Caesar salad was a refreshing palate cleanser, and the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection - tender and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was definitely the wellington, which was rich and indulgent. We wrapped up our meal with the passion fruit dessert, which was good, but the banana baked Alaska stole the show. All of the cocktails we tried were expertly crafted, with the root beer old-fashioned being a standout. Overall, Mister Charles is a top-notch restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. I can see why it's worthy of a Michelin mention, and I will absolutely be returning in the future. Five stars all the way!
Spectacular fine dining restaurant. Italian with a twist in a beautiful interior. Cocktail menu is small but cocktails are great. Recommend the crime of passion - with passion fruit and habanero pepper. Their classic martinis are quite good too. The canapés are a flavor explosion - my favorite was the grilled cheese with truffled cheddar. Also loved the corn and truffle beignets. Pasta - truffle scarpinoco was amazing.
Our server, Adrian, was absolutely fantastic! We sampled nearly half the menu, and every single dish was exceptionally good, full of flavor, beautifully plated, and cooked to perfection. And don’t even think about skipping dessert.. it was the perfect ending to an already outstanding meal. If you’re in Dallas, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip.
If you are thinking about going, just do it. In summary, the food was really tasty, well crafted, and beautifully plated. You will eat with all your senses. Food: For apps, we ordered the Blue Fin crudo, corn and truffle beignets and the Spanish octopus. For mains, the whole red snapper, scallops, and the filet mignon plus all 4 sides. The fish was plated table side, and it was a beautiful dish. The scallops and meat were cooked beautifully. My favorite side was the mushroom dish, but the broccoli was delicious, and so were the potatoes. Being the dessert connoisseur that I am 😂, I eagerly awaited the best part of the meal, and it was a bit of a letdown. The best of the 3 desserts we got was the Chocolate Gateau. The baked Alaska was lit for too long and burnt to where it wasn't pleasant to eat and the Passionfruit Entremet was waaaaay too tart for me. Service: Our waiter was very attentive and recommended some really good dishes. Ambiance: I'm in the fence about the decor... it was well done but a little too rustic for me. $: You get what you paid for 😅
Had a really great time at Mister Charles the other night with a friend. We had few cocktails: Blue Cheese Dirty Martinis and Boulevardiers with Buffalo Trace. Then we had incredible dishes like Tandoori Swordfish and Mussels. The server was super sweet and brought us a couple of extras that really made our night, so we could try a few more things from the menu. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy and we felt no pressure to leave or turn the table over. The prices are quite expensive, so expect a little sticker shock, but the experience is excellent.
We celebrated our anniversary dinner at Mister Charles yesterday, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with so many layers of flavor in every dish. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and the corn beignets to start, followed by the Whole Red Snapper Milanese with tzatziki and carrot salad, and the truffle scarpinocc with ricotta, toasted hazelnuts, and honey. We finished the night with a fabulous ice cream sundae, the perfect sweet ending. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced. An ideal place for a special celebration!!
We had last minute reservations this past Sunday for 9:15 pm. The staff was so friendly and the service was a 10. Portions are small fyi. We did the lamb chops which were soft in texture very different from the grilled taste you normally would expect I give those a 5. The caviar chicken nuggets are worth trying they have a good taste nothing special I’ll give those a 7. The pan fried red snapper was a 9 all in all good experience.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I recently hosted a holiday client dinner and worked with Jennifer, who made the entire process incredibly easy and seamless. She was professional, responsive, and always one step ahead. I had a full week of events planned, and this was by far the easiest, thanks entirely to Jennifer. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the private event space was absolutely perfect: secluded yet still connected to the energy and ambiance of the restaurant without being disruptive. We received exceptional service from Nehemiah and Joe, who truly made the evening flawless. The food, ambiance, and service were outstanding—and I say this as someone who works in the luxury hospitality world. Thank you to Jennifer and the entire team for such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to return for future events!
Absolutely a 5-star place! A 4.6 rating really doesn’t reflect how incredible this spot is. Highly recommended! Service, atmosphere, food, everything is spot on. Shoutout to TY for the wonderful service! Thanks for such an amazing experience! ⭐️
Absolutely amazing experience, dinner and drinks. This was our first time here, we had chris as our server. He was so knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions, and great personality! We had the 12oz ny strip steak it was soo juicy and tender. Crab cake was great, as well as the ceasar salad. My cocktail was also delicious. Service was top notch! You must visit this restaurant!
Came in to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were blown away by our experience here! We had the lobster roll and steak canapes, crab cakes, and beef wellington and everything was amazing. Literally not a single bite was poorly - chris was our server and he made excellent recommendations as well as keeping our pacing on point as we had a show to go to! He also gave us an extra side to try as it was our first time 💖 loved everything and will be back FOR SURE SO HAPPY! Thanks so much for a great night Chris!
Wow! We were lucky enough to have dinner last night at Mister Charles. Eight of us were in town for a convention. All first timers here. We asked our server Rosa if it was possible to do a chef’s tasting menu. She spoke with Chef Brendan and he put together an amazing menu for us in 10 minutes! Every course was superb and Chef Brendan explained each course of the meal. Specialty drinks were amazing. The Som, Luis, put together our wine pairings and they were outstanding. I was so looking forward to what I thought would be a great meal, and it surpassed all of my expectations! Every single person in our party has commented multiple times on how incredible the night was. What a spectacular experience! Thank you Chef Brendan, Rosa, Luis, and the rest of the team at Mister Charles!
Mister Charles is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food is fantastic, but what really sets it apart is the team. Servers are excellent. The sommelier, Opal, is the best I’ve encountered across many Michelin-star restaurants. She’s a true storyteller willing to share her extensive knowledge. Across many visits, she’s never steered us wrong and often introduces us to something new and wonderful (this time, a flight of dessert wines). If you’re looking for the perfect spot, this is it.
Very good meal from start to finish. One of our party was quite late and the staff never rushed us. Lobster roll and oyster canapes were amazing. Lamb was some of the best I've had since moving to Dallas and the duck was excellent as well. Wine list is extensive and like that they had half bottle options. Room is stunning, service 5 star. Great place for a special occasion. Would go back for sure.
Moved to Dallas & scouted out all the Michelin recommended restaurants. Friends suggested Mister Charles. It's date night, we absolutely starving and ended up ordering a feast, and every single dish was worth it. We started with nearly all of the canapés (no chicken nuggets, haha). The Chilled Oysters with Strawberry Ponzu and Finger Lime were bright and refreshing, the Grilled Cheese with Truffled Cheddar and Prosciutto was decadent, the Ossetra Caviar & Egg Salad on Brioche felt luxurious, the Lobster Roll canapé was deliciously buttery, and the A5 Striploin on Brioche with Wasabi was melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly, the canapés alone make this place worth visiting! For entrées, we shared the Beef Wellington, Whole Red Snapper Milanese, Tzatziki & Carrot Salad, and the lobster/uni pasta (can’t remember the exact name, but it was incredible). Everything was beautifully seasoned, cooked perfectly, and plated with so much intention. Dessert was the Banana Semifreddo Baked Alaska, which was the perfect finish, creamy, light, and super unique. For drinks, the Highland Park Pharmacy Penicillin and Crime of Passion were both fantastic, balanced cocktails. Service was great, the atmosphere felt upscale but fun, and the whole experience genuinely lived up to the hype. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
We have loved Mister Charles for some time now. It really is one of our favorite places in Dallas! Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Tonight we went for dinner and had truly the best service we have ever had - anywhere! Rosa was our server and she went above and beyond to make our dinner special. Then we had opportunity to meet Bob the Chef who far exceeded our expectations and again also made our dinner truly memorable! Will forever remember how they made us feel! From the incredible vibe with the atmosphere, the amazing drinks, the fabulous food (we love love all the Canapé’s- don’t miss these) and the five star service you will love this place!
First time to Mister Charles (to celebrate my birthday). We've heard great things about the food and service and they all turned out to be true. We were blown away by the service. Hillary took exceptional care of our table and explained the menu very well. She made recommendations that were a little different than what we would normally order but, were excellent choices (Prime Beef Carpaccio, Corn and Truffle Beignets, and Crab Cake for appetizers). We shared the beautifully prepared Wagyu Short Rib Wellington for our main course with a side of Pommes Aligot (spectacular!!). Topping off the meal with the Banana Semifreddo Baked Alaska for dessert. We're already making plans to return and bring friends to share this great dining experience.
This review is long overdue and well deserved. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had and best in Dallas, period. I made a reservation here for my friend’s birthday back in October and was deciding between this and another Michelin recommended spot, but I’m so glad I chose Mister Charles instead! She had just moved to Dallas from Austin that day, and it was also her birthday weekend, so we went out to celebrate. It was pouring rain that evening, with flooded streets, but we still made the drive. We were pleasantly surprised to find valet right next to the entrance, which made it easy to pull up and hop out despite the weather. We still got a bit wet without an umbrella, but as soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted with fresh towels to dry off. This was such a great touch and something I’ve truly never seen before. We were escorted to a table on the darker, moodier side near the kitchen and greeted by our server, Hillary. She immediately offered hot tea cups filled with warm water to help us warm up from the cold rain and took our wet jackets. While it may seem like a small gesture, the level of care and attention to the guest experience was incredibly impressive and set the tone for the entire evening. Shortly after, the sommelier, Opal, stopped by and surprised us with complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate, which was such a lovely and unexpected treat. Hillary walked us through the menu with great care and thoughtful descriptions. We started with the Bluefin passionfruit crudo and the Hamachi crudo. Both were delicious, but the Bluefin was the standout thanks to its bright, tangy dressing. Next came the Truffle Scarpinocc, which may be the best pasta I’ve ever had. The pillows of pasta were unbelievably soft and flavorful, coated in a rich, luxurious sauce. Hillary even brought us extra bread so we could scrape up every last delicious bit. For our main course, we shared the 20oz porcini-rubbed prime ribeye, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We paired it with the pommes aligot and brown butter asparagus, both excellent accompaniments! To finish the meal, we ordered the Chocolate Gateau, which was beautifully presented for my friend’s birthday, making it the perfect ending & bite to the evening. Based on this experience, I would recommend Mister Charles to anyone for any occasion. They truly make you feel special and valued as a guest. The food is incredible, but the service is what truly sets them apart. I have to give Hillary her flowers here!!. She was attentive, descriptive, and thoughtful without being overbearing. Additionally, she paced the meal perfectly to our liking in order to ensure the evening flowed seamlessly—would definitely request her next time. Months later, my friend and I still talk fondly about our Mister Charles experience, which says everything about the lasting impression this place leaves! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: 10 / Service: 10 / Atmosphere: 10
Oh man, what a wonderful experience this was. This restaurant is truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, from the service to the food was absolutely a 10/10 experience. My girlfriend and I made a reservation here for her birthday and it was quite a bumpy ride to get there. We initially had our reservation at 530pm but due to a DFW flight cancellation and delay, we had to keep pushing back our reservation. I pushed our reservation back to about 945pm initially, but we didn’t even get off of the plane until 9pm. I called in to see what the staff thought I should do and ended up speaking with Meg on the phone. Not only was she graceful, they made me feel totally fine about being late to our reservation and even pushed it back again for me till 1030 pm (even though they close at 11). It was a huge relief to me as it was already a chaotic and stressful travel day. We made it right at 1033pm and were immediately greeted by Peter, who happened to be from the same area we were traveling from in California and I immediately knew we were at an excellent restaurant. He was so nice and the building was absolutely stunning, the atmosphere was incredible . After that, we were sat at our table and greeted by our server Adrian who clearly knew the menu inside and out. He made excellent drink and food recommendations and my girlfriend said it was the best martini she’s ever had. I ended up going with the beef Wellington, which was perfect, and my girlfriend ended up getting the halibut. Both were 10/10 and I nearly licked the plate. Also, they give you the entire Wellington, not just a slice, which I thought was excellent. They gave us a few extra appetizers and desserts for my girlfriend’s birthday and due to the day we had, we left incredibly happy. Just this one stop was worth flying all the way to Dallas for. This was a truly special experience and I highly recommend coming here, even if it’s just to sit at the bar and enjoy some drinks. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Last night I took the wife on a date and we ate at this restaurant. The atmosphere was gorgeous as they had beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and amazing architecture around the walls. Our server was Ed and he was on top of it all night. Constantly checking on us without being overbearing. We started off with the Canapés, mini grilled cheese bits with a delicious sauce on top, chicken nuggets with caviar, and a beet / burrata. The star of the apps was the chicken nuggets with caviar as the nugget was soaked in flavors for 24 hours. We split the man course which was a large Texas Wagyu Short Rib Wellington. The two sides we chose was the broccolini and asparagus. Both of them were cooked just right with delicious sauce to go on top. The Wellington was cooked just right and had the right amount of bread to the meat ratio. We finished with the passionfruit entremet which the first bite was quite tart, but by the second bite all the flavors were really balanced. We sat next to the kitchen, watching all the food, get prepared and come out. And by the end of the night, the executive sous chef came to our table to check on us, Bob. He was making sure we enjoyed our dinner and explained some of the things that we ate. With the overall service and food, I know we will be back
Love the restaurant. Excellent hospitality. Celebrated my bday with family and our server Ariel was exceptional. So welcoming and attentive. Beautiful setting and gorgeous bar. Food, cocktails and desserts were all delicious. Looking forward to returning soon.
Wow! Just Wow! Amazing food, amazing and engaging service, great atmosphere, it’s just Wow! There was a small group of us so we had a lot of food: my favorites were the Carpaccio, the Swordfish, the mashed potatoes and broccolini sides and the Baked Alaska.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Mister Charles last night and it was perfect. The service was incredible from start to finish, and everyone made us feel taken care of. We asked about a tasting menu and even though they don’t normally have one, Chef Brendan Frankel put one together just for us with wine pairings, and every dish was spot on. He even came out a couple of times to check in, which meant a lot. The food, the wine, the vibe, all of it came together and made for an amazing night. Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner for my wife. Big thanks to the whole team for making it such a special experience.
We went to Mister Charles for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. We requested a booth which is tucked into the sides, I highly recommend asking for that. The Canapes are fantastic and we enjoyed the grilled cheese, lobster roll and especially the chicken nuggets with caviar. We shared a pasta and the beef Wellington which did not disappoint at all!
We had an excellent dining experience at Mister Charles. My girlfriends and I got the Caesar salad (very unique and zesty), mushrooms (too delicious to order just one), corn beignets ( the crème fraiche is incredible), the truffle pasta (delish) and the ribeye (phenomenal). We also ordered three dovetails (delicious non alcohol cocktails). Ribeye was a bit on the saltier side, but it was cooked really well. My pieces were unfortunately very fatty compared to others but it was really great. I would definitely come back, our server was also wonderful! Reservation recommended.
I celebrated my birthday with my family here, and the service was fantastic! They even brought toys for my daughter. Of course, the food was absolutely delicious.
Mister Charles is an upscale American restaurant with a lively, stylish atmosphere and a great crowd. It’s located in a nice area with plenty of other good spots nearby. Definitely make reservations — we ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience. The food was excellent all around, and next time I’d order the duck cooked medium rare. Definitely worth coming back!
Amazing food & service. Kira, our waiter was great. All the food was delicious. Would definitely come back. Bluefin and duck were the best.

My boyfriend and I went to Mister Charles for our anniversary dinner and it was great! They put flowers on the table so everyone said ‘happy anniversary’ (felt like Disney when you have the pins, I thought it was sweet) Our server Ty could not have been nicer. Gave us recommendations and brought over the sommelier as well for the wine choice. We were in the main room where the bar is and it was gorgeous. Def ordered a lot of food because we were excited to try everything- the hamachi crudo was a standout
Mister Charles offers a beautifully designed space with a warm, inviting staff and excellent service, much like its sister restaurant, The Charles. The ambiance is well-crafted, but the way some tables are positioned—especially seating along foot traffic—could be improved for a more comfortable experience. The way a restaurant seats you, especially when plenty of options are available, sets the tone for the entire dining experience. Being placed in a high-traffic area right at opening made the first impression less than ideal. The meal had some real highlights—the beef carpaccio was fantastic, full of flavor and well-executed. The Corn & Truffle Beignets were a nice opener, and dessert (a pear compote with ginger panna cotta, vanilla ice cream, and hazelnuts) was a great way to end the night. However, some dishes and drinks didn’t fully meet expectations. The broccolini was flavorful but a bit oily and too charred, which slightly overpowered the dish. The beef Wellington had the right flavors but was a little tough, missing the melt-in-your-mouth texture I was expecting. As for cocktails, having experienced excellent drinks at spots like Drake’s, The Monarch, Jules, and The Tipsy Alchemist, I expected more complexity. The smoked Old Fashioned lacked the pronounced smoky depth and balance of spirits that make a cocktail stand out. Overall, Mister Charles delivers on atmosphere and hospitality, but for the price and reputation, I was hoping for something more memorable in the food and drinks. I’d be open to giving it another try—perhaps at the bar or during cocktail hour—to see if a different experience shifts my impression.
Overall I really did love our experience here but a few things that could use improvement. Started with a cosmopolitan martini and it was one of the most well balanced cosmos I’ve ever had! For appetizers we got a couple of amuse buches but was disappointed as they were clearly not made fresh and had been sitting out and were cold. Definitely minus one star for that. Octopus appetizer was excellent. The highlight was definitely the Beef Wellington and was very surprised to find out they use short rib instead of filet. I still prefer a filet but they did it very well with the short rib. The spicy pasta was good but was overwhelmed with vegetables. The dessert was okay.
We dined here this past weekend and overall had a good experience, though the start was a bit jarring. We arrived early and waited at the bar, but when seats opened they were immediately marked as reserved. We were moved to another bar and just as we finally sat down, our table became available. It was a bit annoying for an otherwise service-oriented restaurant. Once seated, the food impressed. The NY strip steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the lamb chops were also delicious, though quite rich/fatty. The sommelier recommended an excellent wine pairing, which was a highlight. Cocktails were fine but not as well made as those at their sister restaurant, Sister. The lobster canapé and octopus appetizer were underwhelming. The lobster was too finely chopped, the bread was chewy, and while the patatas bravas were excellent, the octopus and salad underwhelmed. Fun steakhouse vibe, excellent music playlist, and great service overall. Very good, but it does not quite ring all the bells for us like Sister.
Upon entering Mister Charles, the space immediately feels grand and swanky—large teardrop chandeliers, soft pastel tones, and crisp linen tablecloths set the scene. There appear to be two distinct dining areas, with the second being more intimate and moody. We didn’t have a reservation, but were able to snag seats at the small bar tucked inside the smaller dining room. With only four seats, it felt almost like having our own personal bartender. We let the bartender choose our drinks, asking for something sweet and cute, and he absolutely nailed it. We started with canapés—literally one bite each, but just enough to set the tone for the meal. The corn and truffle beignets were very filling, though a touch heavy on the crème fraîche base. The Spanish octopus was the standout of the night—so tender I don’t even remember chewing. The crab cake was fresh with great flavor, but we paced ourselves to save room for dessert. The chocolate cake was incredibly creamy and decadent. This place is a whole vibe. I forget the bartender’s name but he took really good care of us. I’ll definitely be back.
Great decor, good service, but I was a little let down given the Michelin recognition. My party of 5 decided to go meat heavy, so I missed in trying different and varied dishes, so I will definitely like to go back and try different things (pasta with hazelnuts, I was looking at you!). We had the Beignets (somewhat salty) and Octopus (probably the highlight for me) for appetizers. For entrees, we ordered the Wellington, Rib Eye and Filet, and they were good, don't get me wrong, but dishes were missing some character and a touch of seasoning. The wine list was amazing, but of course, somewhat overpriced. The place is loud, difficult to hold a conversation, which was not a good thing, given the category of the place.
Great date night spot! The ambiance is very chic and moody - which I loved. It was a bit warmer than we would have liked - with the understanding that it is hot in Texas tho! But not a huge deal breaker. Our waiter was lovely and very knowledgeable! The drinks were very good. We ordered the carpaccio as our appetizer (although it was spicy, I didn’t mind it but my husband doesn’t eat too much spicy, so we sent it back and they remade it without the spicy sauce). For dinner we ordered the scallops, beef Wellington and potatoes! We would order the beef Wellington again - it was yummy!

From the perspective of a young adult, beautiful experience! The ambiance was luxurious and sophisticated, and it invited you to enjoy its finest cuisine. I spent time here with my mother, and we both appreciated their dessert selection. We ordered the pistachio fruit jam dessert, which was delicious. Small, yet excellent. In addition, the service was courteous and efficient. There's not much to say there, but they certainly add to the experience. My mom and I both liked our time here and would recommend it to friends and relatives. However, I wouldn’t recommend this place to kids or teens who prefer something more lively and upbeat.
We were sat for our reservation in what seemed to be a very bright and loud bar area. When asked if we were actually in the dining room he said that technically yes, but there was another dining area adjacent to the open kitchen, so off we went to be sat there, which was much more like a dining room than the bar. Ambiance is okay, not as elegant as the pictures. Food was just okay - highlight was the canapés. Service was excellent, but the overall experience was not.
The food and drinks were prepared well, but I don’t think I can forgive when the server asked for my phone to pull my own car up, force-rushing us out of the restaurant. We made a reservation in the mezzanine but were unable to be seated there without an explanation. Not too big of a deal. We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time (7:15, seated at 7:30 after we asked again at the hostess station). We were told it would be big enough to share as a side for 4 people. I disagree, I wanted more than just one ravioli a piece. I expected small portions but the truffle pasta was ludicrously small. Everything did taste very good though. Ultimately disappointed in the service and don’t think we’ll return. Also the booths are quite small; none of us were overweight or over 5’10” but it was cramped.
My wife and I go on a date every week. Typically 5 star restaurants. Everything was fine with the service , the pasta was perfect, the filet was good, but the ribeye was not good. The server knew something was up but I’m not one to complain to get it removed from my bill ended up taking it to go and giving it to my dog. Presentation and service was perfect . I kinda have a rule with steaks if you need to put sauce on it something is not right , steak don’t need sauce the flavor is natural. Bill: 500+$
Came to celebrate girlfriend’s birthday. Loved the vibe right away. Service was inconsistent and felt rushed at the end trying to get us to leave. We had 2 canepes (grilled cheese, caviar both were decent), octopus app (stand out of the night), swordfish entree (good flavour), beef Wellington (huge disappointment, beef was chewy, whole dish lacked flavour). From the hype I expected much better food, I may return for a drink.
We visited Mr. Charles for Mother’s Day. The atmosphere and interior design were beautiful, and the service was excellent — truly attentive and accommodating. We started with the beef and tuna appetizers, which were decent but overly salty and lacking complexity. The spicy pasta was okay — not bad, but nothing special. For mains, I had the fish, which was fine but overpriced for the portion and quality. My daughter ordered the chicken, which had no flavor at all, even with the sauces — it was honestly unpleasant. We returned it, and the staff kindly offered her a replacement and did not charge for it, which we appreciated. We also tried the banana dessert with toasted meringue — unfortunately, it was overly sweet and felt more basic than refined, again not worth the high price. Overall, the ambiance and service were fantastic, but the food did not meet expectations — especially for the pricing. Even the table next to us left mid-meal, sharing that they were disappointed with their food. I’d give the experience a 3 out of 5.

Let me start off by saying the positive and that is the service. The staff was polite, efficient, and attentive. However the food is a solid 2/10. The pasta was just mid and tasteless and for someone who's from the Caribbean flavor is our thing. The price you pay for tasteless food is not worth it. The restaurant was dark so its hard to see but if you look closely its very dirty especially the mirrors and ledges. I would suggest they implement a better cleaning system. Other than that it did not meet my expectations.
