First time here, and I must say I'm surprised. Brunch was good. Update, they have made a lot of changes inside and it have really brighten up the place literally the led lights are nice, food is still good and the painted the ceiling white give it a very relaxing feel.
Update on 10/18 The kind woman that answered my curbside call today ( 1:35 pm) had my order out to me as soon as I hung up the phone.!! She was so nice and fast I couldn’t believe it. Thank you for bringing out our food today, it helped us out a lot. Thank you! Curbside is always convenient with kids, and food is always packed very nicely!
My food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful our cashier Melody was a such a beautiful soul. Tracy the lady running the togo area could go back to courtesy training. She rolled her eyes while I placed my order and was annoyed that we wanted to place an order to go. Other than that one rude employee, I will return to this location again. Have a great day!!
The food was Just as Good as it's Always been!!! Really enjoyed it! The Regulars are just as cordial as the Outstanding Wait Staff!! Major Cudos to the Mgr for making Handicapped Parking at the door!! It's such a deal to use a manual wheelchair but I love the exercise I'm getting by using one!!
Love the French ambience and excellent menu. Good coffee and plenty of seating indoors and outdoor.
We enjoyed every single minute with our family at this location thank you Evelyn 😊 she was very attentive, she took very good care of us...
BEST food !! OMG it was so good. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich and my daughter had the Balsamic Chicken Sandwich. It was so good...we went back the next day and had the SAME !! Hurry and get there. Its delicious and the staff is GREAT.
Come here all the time. It's nice and easy on the weekends to just stroll in whenever and fill up on soup and bread. Definitely recommend the broccoli cheddar soup. I've tried something new every time I've come in and I haven't had anything I didn't like. I will definitely keep coming in.
I’ve been going to this Highland Park location since before the dinosaurs roamed. Food and service is always excellent. Their atmosphere has been updated and continues to make it a quaint and lovely ambience for breakfast, brunch or dinner. A nice quiet evening alone is also cozy and ideal.
Food is great. The ordering process is a little complicated
Apparently the first La Madeleine in US and that itself is a great reason to visit.
I ordered two chicken Cesar sandwiches and mine came out perfect but my boyfriend’s was missing chicken. He didn’t even notice it, though. A couple minutes later an employee comes out and asks if it was missing chicken. My boyfriend is not the type to return food as he dislikes being wasteful so he thanked them for their concern but declined the free replacement they offered. Nonetheless, they still gave us a free dessert, a free entire baguette, and another free chicken Cesar sandwich without us asking. The customer service here is great and the food was just as amazing.
This place is run like a well-oiled machine. We walked in and there was a bit of a line and a packed house for Sunday brunch, but we only waited 3-4 minutes to place our order. All the staff was very helpful and friendly and we had about 3 or 4 little special requests all of which were accommodated without any grief or attitude. The staff was really on point equally carrying the load, delivering food, busing tables without missing a beat. I wish all the restaurants I go to had this kind of service. Will definitively be back.
Great place to meet for coffee and a quick nosh. Excellent for any meal. Good cooking with a French flair. Soups are great. Quiche is good, too. They seem to have the same high quality, regardless of location. If you've never been, give it a try. If it's been awhile, go back.
After 9 days of working in Mansfield all day and then driving to Presbyterian Hospital to see my husband, I was exhausted and sick of eating fast food in my car on the way home. I decided to stop here for a quick dinner. The manager on duty was so pleasant and made sure everyone was taken care of. She noticed my potato galette was hard and brought me a new hot one. Great service from everyone to a weary traveler tonight! Thank you!
Fantastic spot! I stopped in while my son was at soccer camp and ended up staying for a few hours to get work done—great Wi-Fi and a comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff was welcoming. Perfect place to relax, work, or grab a bite. Highly recommend!
Suzanna and other young lady were the only two working hard to try and service everyone in line. Not sure what the other employees were doing walking around. And one guy that was doing good at cleaning the tables.
The service at the La Madeline on Mockingbird was amazing!!! Autumn was so amazing, kind and very caring!!! Raky another wonderful delight!!! Even sweet Martin getting our plates!!! What a warm and inviting place!! More than just a place to eat! Family is here!!!
Great place for an early coffee or breakfast with a friend or group.
Great little setup! Theresa helped us out, she was a sweetheart! Quite a awesome assortment of pastries and breakfast and lunch items. Lots of options for Coffee, including drip coffee! Breakfast cross was delicious! And their strawberry romanoff is definitely worth trying! Overall, great service, food and experience!
Had their chicken cordon bleu pasta dish, and was good. A little bit expensive for the amount of food I got and for the level of food quality. Friendly staff, and clean restaurant. I do want to complain about how the silverware still came out dirty with spots and fingerprints!!!!
The Coconut Cream Cake is amazing ! It was the requested cake by the birthday celebrant. I like coconut cake. This is not your ordinary coconut cake. This cake is stellar!! Moist cake with tons of coconut flavor. Omg. Going to order this again.
Hey it’s Le Madeline it’s always good service tasty meals enough to share with your bestie, free coffee /tea refills, bread/jam/butter set up. Highly recommend to meet a friend here at SMU. Thank you staff speaks excellent French too
our original host was I guess annoyed but her service wasn’t great at all but the cashier Maria was so sweet and attentive. Definitely would come back just to order with her made our experience pleasurable.
Came for a very late dinner and enjoyed myself immensely. The place was clean, the order was prompt, the place was nice in clean sort of way and the food was everything I had hoped. In fact, I may have over eaten a bit! I started off with the country potato soup. Very thick and hearty. I'm a sucker for potato soup and this one didn't disappoint. I also had the classic Croque Monsieur sandwich which is basically a toasted ham & swiss cheese. I probably ordered too much. Both of them together were quite a hit with me and I only wish I was able to come more often and try more of the menu. I guess I'll have to wait until my next trip to Dallas. If you're in the area, definitely try their sandwiches out.
The food was amazing. We went there before a work meeting, thinking it was going to be just pastries, but it was a full menu. The salad was perfect and my sandwich was great. The cappuccino tasted great. Would definitely get another. Will definitely go back to this place when I get back to Dallas.
Staff was lovely. My first time there. I felt rushed by the amount of people in line behind me, didn't order everything I wanted. What I did order was very good, Quiche Florentine, crust was tender and tasted great on its own. Mix of spinach and egg perfect. Even though it was very busy, the cashier carried my tray and got my drink since I was one handed.
The one item I continued to come in for they discontinued until next year saying it was ,"seasonal". I raged, I cursed their family names, I was unruly and the police were called. Not. But I wanted to. The rest of their food is good, but nothing life changing. Linzer cookies are great. Go get em...
This location gets busy quick so arrive before or after traditional meal times. We arrived at 11 for lunch on a Monday by noon the line was super long. The kitchen was moving slowly, and they forgot one of our meals. We talked to the cashier and it was rushed out. Otherwise it is a perfect quick bite near SMU, the parking lot is snug, but there usually plenty of parking available for a fast meal get a salad without protein and quiche.
EVERY time I come in here I NEVER get acknowledged. I came in to pick up an order, per usual the ladies were talking amongst themselves. I unknowingly cut infront of another patron there before me. I apologized and asked if she was in line she stated she was and had been waiting for more than 5 min waiting to be helped. I honestly do believe it since I've experienced it before. I made eye contact with one of them and they went on to continue with their gossip that's all that was. Since they were speaking Spanish I asked if we could be helped one of them the one in red stated she was helping another patron I'm like yeah no you guys have completely ignored us. She gave me attitude and I left with my food. This needs to change.
Great place for some hot soup on a cold day but I don't recommend it as a place to dine-in on your lunch hour. A good part of my hour was spent waiting in line to be helped. Everyone in one line waiting for one after the other customer to place order, get their food & pay until it's your turn is not convenient.
I like this location. Service is usually great. But customer service at the register could use some work (black lady)
came with my dad for fathers day, but just now adding my review. Overall, food, service, and speed was good. Out all the La Madelines this is one of my favorites.
The cashier, Suana, was super friendly, patient and helpful to take care of my order and request, and make sure I get what I want exactly. She is really a warm and lovely lady. There is a space providing the private group get-together or business meeting. The holiday decorated sweets could be found in the pastry case. The Christmas music was playing in the restaurant and some holiday decorations were added to the restaurant as well.
From the moment you step into this warm and inviting cafe, you're transported to a quaint French bistro that's both cozy and elegant. The tomato basil soup is a must-try, with its rich, velvety texture and perfectly balanced flavors. While the Caesar salad was just okay, it's still a refreshing and light complement to any meal. Moving on to the entrees, the creamy pesto pasta with shrimp is a standout dish that's both creamy and flavorful, with perfectly cooked shrimp adding a touch of sweetness to the dish. The chicken la Madeleine is another highlight, cooked to perfection and served with a delectable side of creamy mashed potatoes. And let's not forget about dessert! The creme brulee is an indulgent treat that's both creamy and satisfying, with the perfect amount of caramelized sugar on top. And of course, no trip to La Madeleine is complete without trying their signature Madeline cookies, which are the perfect sweet ending to any meal. Overall, La Madeleine in Mockingbird, Dallas is a must-visit destination for those seeking a taste of France in the heart of Texas. I would definitely return to this location. Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Parking 5/5 Cleanliness 4/5
I have nothing against the food, but I do have a complaint about a newly implemented corporate policy. I stopped by to get an almond croissant which is $3.79. When I got to the register, my total was $4.35. So I asked what was the extra cost. Apparently the corporate office in their infinite wisdom decided to implement a $.50 charge to every transaction, instead of going up on prices. I have never heard of such a charge at a restaurant. Needless to say I will not be going back until this charge is removed. Charge more if you want, so I know what I'm paying for.
I order out a lot from La Madeleine. A few deliveries have been disappointing. Caesar salad lettuce was limp when I ordered a Cafe Sampler. The last order was for the Duet Magnifique. The tomato soup was good as it always is, but the grilled cheese sandwich was a huge disappointment. The bread was soaked in butter and grilled very likely, making the bread soggy and greasy. There was not much cheese in the center, and it was not melted. The sandwich was better after I grilled the second half of it. The bread was crisper, but still greasy. The little bit of cheese melted, which made it better. I would not order this again, nor would I order another Caesar Salad.
I used to love going here for the 1/2 rotisserie chicken, came here once a week during lunch to eat that. But since it was removed, I haven’t been back because the other items or just okay.
Food is good but almost every single time I order online and specifically ask for no bacon they still include bacon…
This about the madeleines at Montfort the manager has a bad attitude and is very mean I stopped going there totally
tasty food, but this is the second time in a row in less than two weeks that they sent me burnt sea salt baguettes and wrong or missing items in my Uber Eats order. Every single time I ask for utensils and every single time they DON'T send any. Very frustrating
The quality of the food here went downhill a long time ago, but their service was still pretty good. My experience tonight shows that the service is headed down as well. In the past, one would never just stand around at the takeout counter waiting to at least be acknowledged. Tonight the staff didn’t even acknowledge our existence, let alone ask if they could help us. I had to ask the staff “ can someone help us please”? There was only one other person standing there besides myself. I’ve never been treated so invisible at this establishment as I was tonight. I will definitely make management aware.
I have been a patron of the LaMadeline chain for over 30 years. The food quality was excellent up to about 2000, then took a hit. Alas for the departure of the rosamary chicken, and original crepes. The all you can eat fresh bread with jam then disappeared. But at least the ambiance kept me coming back. Now, no more warm earth tones. Just cold cafeteria lighting and grey blue decor is taking over and completely clashes with remaining brick and wood tables. The original vision for a French Country Cafe is long gone, which to me is sad. I wonder who in corporate is making these decisions?
I feel in-differential about this location, I saw someone else ask to order after I had already been standing there for a while and get skipped in line. Is my 20% tip not the same cash value as the the other folks? Maybe to them.
The restaurant is nice and the layout is also cozy and pleasant. The food was good too, but the soup was scalding hot, but it fortunately didn't cause much damage to my mouth or anything. The only thing that ruined every other decent thing about this restaurant was Freezing Cold Indoor Temperature!!! I can't even think of anyone believing this is a comfortable temperature to run indoors!! I mean I couldn't stay there more than 30 minutes, just as finished my lunch I had to run out the door despite my initial intention of staying there until closing at 10 p.m. so that I could finish my homework!! What a shame!
Slow. Watching the workers hunt and peck on the screen to enter your order and slowly step through all the questions is a form of Chinese water torture. They need to completely rethink their order flow.
I asked for butter and of course the cashier had to have an attitude! She gave me 3!!! I purchased a loaf of sourdough!!!3? Really???
Hi I love this location it’s always very lovely but this time was the opposite I walked in to buy a full cake and the cashier was helping someone else before me and was very nice to her and as soon as it came to my turn, she was vey rude not friendly at all she is a Hispanic cashier I’m left feeling so upset she need to know to treat everyone with kidness not just pick and choose
Rainy day called for warm soup and this place seemed like a great idea but the soup was awful, no seasonings at all. I got the spicy tomato soup and it was not good, don't recommend. My friend had the potato soup and it was so watery and lacking in flavor. The meal was about $12 person, but definitely not worth the $. They used to have bread out but they have placed it behind the counter so u have to ask for it, no big deal if the cashier wasn't so bothered to have to get it. Not a place I plan on returning to.
The food is fine, but it seems like this location always gets our order wrong every time we get takeout.
I have ordered catering from La Madeleine many times in the past I haven't had any issues. Unfortunately, I had multiple issues with this order. Starting with the delivery being late, the breadsticks were completely burnt, and they did not include all of the food items I ordered. When I called the store to see if they could stop by and drop off the missing item, I was informed they could not come back. I then had to ask for a refund on the item. I was told they would handle the refund and send me an updated itemized receipt. The next day I received an email from EZ cater with the item still showing. I called La Madeleine and spoke with the store manager, who informed me that I had to go through EZ Cater for the refund. The store manager was very rude and did not seem genuine in any of his statements. He did not do anything to address or fix the problem. This is the last time I will be ordering La Madeleine. Additionally, I spoke with other individuals who shared that they have had similar catering experiences with La Madeleine.
Recently came here for a Sunday eve dinner and the experience has gone down. Portions are smaller and prices are higher. The restaurant seemed to be going through a refresh but the lighting made it seem like I was in a surgical suite at a hospital. Not ideal for dining. We had a lemon tart and gave feedback that it had changed and wasn't as good. Staff told us that "everyone" is saying that.
Never had any complains and I love this place! But today my chicken Caesar salad was not what I expected… I am currently pregnant and craving this so bad but I was let down. No cheese and the chicken was cold and not very flavorful. And even the dressing was very runny. Please make it like you use to!
I use to love this place and it’s been a while since Iv been. So disappointed. Service is terrible and so slow. I got soup and half a sandwich. The sandwich obviously came from another country and my soup was stone cold by the time the sandwich got to me. The half sandwich is so small for the price and placed on the middle of a plate with nothing else on it and presentation was horrible. Only good thing was the coffee. Won’t event eat there again.
Other than our server, Yolanda, this morning was a huge disappointment. Warm coffee, day old gallettes sitting on a warming tray, we had one each, a cold crepes and a $10 egg sandwich. I' ve had better breakfast at Jack in the Box. La Madeleine, i don't know where the breakdown happened, your kitchen staff, your standards, or management. If you want to really br hat your marketing claims, step it up and do better.
First of all I Calle side the easiest pick up order and was put on hold for 5 minutes then a man by the name of Jerry answered and said “ what do you want “ I hung up ! Never will I call or dine in . This was the last straw . In person they are extremely slow and service is subpar and I’m being generous!
Honestly this place used to be one of the best locations. However recently it’s become like a McDonald’s. Mediocre food, bad service, rude employees, they never get your order correct and they give you an attitude when they mess up. Even the managers have attitudes.
I went in to order and everything seemed ok. I ordered a French dip sandwich. I had ordered it many many times from here before. It came out with horseradish and no cheese. I questioned it and was told by the cashier it has always come out that way. I asked for it to be remade. The cashier did not immediately go to the kitchen to place it. I then asked for the manager and asked him for a remake it with out horseradish. I had told him the cashier disappeared without placing my remake. He said he could remake it without horseradish and he told me that a French dip has horseradish on it. I informed him I had never had it with horseradish before. When the remake it came out this time it came out with one small piece of roast beef that didn't even cover the bread. I did not say anything because my friend had already ate and I was hungry. They had already seemed like it was a bother to remake it the first time. I have never had an issue before and had been going to this location since living in the area for over 9 years.
I went in today at 8 and was told that there are no cooks to make even though I saw people eating good but the cashier outright refused to place my order insisting that no body was there to make the food even though there were cooks that I saw and and people were eating and this isn't the first time she has been discriminating against Latinos every time we go in. I didn't know her name but she was a cashier on May 5th at 8 in the morning. They should fire her since she was mad and didn't want to serve us at all
What a disappointing experience. We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner about a week and a half before Thanksgiving and picked up on Thanksgiving day. When I picked up, they did not check the order with me to make sure everything was correct. When I checked it at the restaurant before I left, I noticed that the portions were completely off. Not only did they give us insanely tiny portions, but the lids were not properly placed on the containers, and you can tell it was thrown together. When I brought it to the managers attention, he did not apologize, but proceeded to bring out our correct order. The food quality was terrible and this is the last time I will ever order anything catered or to go from this restaurant. After years of ordering their holiday food, I am sad to see it go down the drain. Never again, lesson learned. Almost $300 thrown away. I had to consistently apologize all night long for the poor food quality, and the fact that the portions were so off. I ended up just leaving the restaurant unhappy because I spent an additional 30 minutes walking them through the correct order. Save yourself the trouble and do not place catering orders at this restaurant. I am not sure what has happened over the last few months but their quality and service has gone down tremendously. The management does not care and should be replaced immediately. What a sad and disappointing experience, sad to say, we will not be back.
The cashier Maria is NOT nice. She needs to be moved elsewhere. Would rather argue with you than get the order correct.
Many years ago la Madeleine would have received five stars. I went for breakfast two or three days a week, and frequently went for lunch. The food was great, the ambiance was great, and the service was good. Unfortunately over the years it became corporatized and much of the food appears to be prepared off premises and only heated on premises. It was the most convenient place to go to lunch, so we decided to try it again. A mistake. There is no longer easily available free bread and butter, even with soup. My French dip had barely any meat, and the meat was dry. Overall, I just recommend avoiding it.
My husband and I ate here over the weekend. We both ordered chicken Caesar salad‘s and I ordered a bowl of tomato basil soup as well. Our order totaled $28. And for $28 my husband found a long black hair in his salad (which was also made with my salad) and my tomato basil soup was barely warm. They remade my husband’s salad only. I used to love La Madeline but they have gone down hill with their service and their food. The chicken they used to use for their chicken Caesar salad has changed. The chicken that is being used now doesn’t compare. That chicken is what made their salads so amazing. I told my husband I can just buy my tomato basil soup at Sam’s from here on out. Also, employees with piercings all over their face isn’t very professional, in my opinion. It just doesn’t scream “cleanliness”. I wish hairnets were mandatory. Sadly, we probably won’t be back, at least not to this location.
Do not eat from La Madeleine. The Cesar dressing has bioengineered food ingredients. Imagine what else is in there food.
Well after the black lady manager left…not sure how long ago…the place has gone downhill consistently. I’ve noticed a decline every time, At checkout I asked for fresh 7grain bread. I got stale. I said “it’s hard”. She said “well we change it when it’s gone”. I said “This is a bread place and they used to keep it fresh.” She said “I don’t care”. She would not give me her name. She was a young Mexican. So I asked the manager for fresh bread and he politely ACTED like he compiled; then brought me stale bread, but microwaved. Was soft for a moment. Golly. Then some mousy brown haired girl customer thought she would give her 2 cents to the manager. I try to stay out of other people’s business. Additionally they changed the recipe for the tomato Basil soup…it’s obvious. Why fix something that wasn’t broken? This is a pic of the girl who told me “I don’t care” and then ran to the kitchen so I wouldn’t get her pic. Don’t most people have name tags at restaurants?
Arrived at restaurant and it was completely empty. Now i know why. The rudest staff i have ever experienced.! Staff was completely useless and unwilling to assist the cashier who was struggling to take our order! Manager was completely unprofessional, and ultimately the ring leader to the demise of this establishment . Food was mediocre at best! Reply to generic auto response below: If you genuinely care about this establishment, you should fire everyone, starting with management first then work your way down. Try actually doing something about it instead of typing the same, bland message to everyone.
I have been eating here for decades. The baked goods are still great, but the service is slow and sullen. The place seems understaffed. The coffee self service area needs to be cleaned more often, the milk jugs filled, the coffee urns checked (they are often empty). Sad to see this kind of neglect in a much-loved place.
Very sad about todays take out salad. The person who was the cashier was extremely rude when I asked for 2 extra Cesar dressings (which I was willing to pay) She kept remarking that they will be charging extra for any “extra” dressings - I have absolutely no problem with that. When I asked for her to add avocado she gave me the ugliest avocado half.. very disappointed and sad about service today.
La Madeleine is one of my favorite restaurants to go to but I would never ever go back to this location again. I placed an order online and when I went in to get my order the cashier was very rude, I gave her my name and she said, "I don't have a order for you". Very rudely she kept asking me what was my name and what did I order, I gave her my name once again and I showed her my phone with the order and with the order number and she kept telling me that I didn't have a order there. Then she turned around and asked me are you a delivery person? How can I be a delivery person when I'm giving you my name and showing you my phone with my order on there and I told her that my credit card has been charged. She then tell me with a attitude I got to go check with the manager as if I'm lying. She came back about 8 minutes later with my order and said oh it was on the computer. So when I made it home and open my bag up to look at my sandwich they literally gave me a charcoal burnt sandwich bacon burnt to the crisp I would never ever go back to this location again. There need to be some changes made there.
The service and food was terrible... This morning... The turkey bacon had been re cooked and was hard as a rock .. as the manager just to take it off our bill... He said no it's all together... Ok well just refund our orders... Then get bill where everything is separate... So you Rather refund instead off just taking the old Bacon 🥓 off the ticket... Wow never again... 35.00 went right to IHOP on central express way... The best service plenty of waiters.. friendly employees... 6.00 Breakfast menu eggs pancakes, French toast bacon sausage etc... do good...
I ordered La Madeleine’s through Uber Eats. They offered a “free” item due to the amount ordered. I accepted the “free” item but when I paid, they charged me for the item. When I tried to contact Uber Eats support, they claimed that it was just an authorization hold. They shouldn’t have authorized payment on a “free” item. Authorization holds last 3 to 4 business days typically so your “free” item is going to cost you for a few days. I will never again use Uber Eats to order from La Madeleine and I recommend that La Madeleine stop doing business with them.
The soup we ordered was cold and the grilled cheese sandwich took forever to get to us and was hard as a rock so it couldn’t be eaten. The only thing good was the Carmel latte and the fruit punch that was in the fountain drinks. Would not recommend this location for anything. Go to Fort Worth, TX location. Spend $31 and we are still hungry.
came here recently and ordered the French toast breakfast, and when it arrived the berries on top had visible mold on them. I returned the plate to the staff thinking they would remake it, but instead they brought back the same plate with the berries simply removed. That was really disappointing and pretty unsanitary, considering the moldy berries had already touched the food. They did give me a refund, but this is a major food safety concern and definitely needs to be addressed. I hope management looks into this, because this could have been a serious health hazard.
This establishment is an exercise in dysfunction. I am sure the original concept had potential, but nothing about the current operation suggests it is being executed with competence. The staff move with a mix of confusion and urgency as if no one has been properly trained or given clear direction. It is not just my experience either. In under an hour I watched multiple customers run into similar issues. One staff member is confused about her keys while the other is saying, “I was in the restroom I don’t know about any orders.” It would take significant restructuring to bring this place back to even a passable standard. As for the employee handling front facing concerns, her behavior was astonishingly unprofessional and showed a remarkable inability to de escalate or resolve even simple problems. Best of luck to whoever attempts to fix this.
I always come here and love the environment and the employees but tonight was horrible 😩 it makes me very upset that employees (Susana chubby Hispanic girl) had an attitude since I walked in, didn’t acknowledge me until literally 10 minutes later. She got my whole order wrong ended up paying for items she didn’t get and it was the first thing I asked for although she hard her nasty attitude 😩 I kept my cool on literally crushing her out and speaking with a manager. She needs to get a reality check by management ASAP! It’s simple if you dnt like your job find a new one dnt treat ppl wrong. I’m soo upset 😠. She truly is a horrible employee!
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! Every and I do mean every…every time I try to order from here my order is wrong or missing items….. I dismissed the issue I had the first time, thinking, okay..we all make mistakes…but this time!! I can’t let this one go!!!! I ordered bon bon bacon and got regular bacon!!! Whomever is in the kitchen cooking needs to come out of the kitchen cause they don’t give a darn what they dish out…not only was this the incorrect bacon, it was cold, appeared to be uncooked, and didn’t look edible AT ALL!!! I wish I could load photos….LaMadeline on Mocking Bird at Central Expressway….you all got to do better!!! Lord knows I know it’s hard to find good workers these days, but my goodness, this right here, all you had to do was one thing…. There were do special requests….just Bon Bon Bacon, the caramelized bacon….I would have tried to eat this bacon but hell, it doesn’t even appear halfway edible, it looks raw and uncooked!!! Ridiculous!!!!!
Awful experience on the night of Saturday, March 15th. First the manager and another employee are standing behind the counter talking, both of whom look at me and then continue their conversation. I asked for help, and they got another woman from the kitchen area to take my order. This woman was incredibly rude, rolled her eyes at me while ordering, and had an awful attitude for the entire interaction. Food wise; the tomato basil soup was good, the Croque Monsieur was thin and slightly cold in the middle. Will most definitely never return to this location.
