We came here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our waiter took the time to explain every dish and help me choose my meal. The food was prepared so fast and everything we order tasted so delicious, it was perfectly cooked & fresh with so much flavors. We were done within 45min. from getting there, getting drinks, appetizers, and having our food. It was very impressive! A truly memorable experience.
Absolutely outstanding probably the best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere! We had the chicken fajitas with rice and beans and brisket. Tacos with rice and beans. A side order of guacamole chips were fantastic. True corn flavor. Falsa was excellent guacamole was out of this world delicious a great experience service was impeccable. Food was served on time and perfectly cooked.
We had a wonderful time at El Molino! We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was excepcional, the cocktails were delicious even my mocktail (because I’m pregnant). Our server, Milton, was so friendly yet professional and helpful. The manager, Stephanie, was very nice and accommodating. We brought our 13 month old during lunch on a Saturday. They don’t have high chairs so we brought our own booster seat. The atmosphere was so nice and the lighting was perfect. Highly recommend this place!!!
Everything that Jullieth, the manager, recommended was full of flavor and so satisfying. I highly recommend dinning here asap. I could not be happier with my first experience. Marco was our server/bartender. He was so attentive and spot on with our margaritas.
I didn't have a reservation when I arrived but I was able to get a seat at the bar, which was a fun experience. My dinner (fajitas) was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Omar was my bartender and he was GREAT - very attentive and friendly. Omar made sure I had everything I needed throughout the evening. I will definitely be coming back! Ask for Omar, he'll take great care of you.
Small, cozy space with a moody atmosphere and great energy. I sat at the bar as a solo diner and got excellent service, Mia and Mauricio were awesome. The drinks and food were both fantastic — thoughtful twists on the classics without being over the top. Everything felt familiar yet elevated.
Wow. I was skeptical but then genuinely impressed by food execution, bevs and food. The small menu keeps my ADD from wandering and you guys have literally nailed it with staff. Carlos was our server and completely pleasant. Plus the hostess accommodated us, she was amazing. Not to mention the management staff Zoe sent us a dessert and came by to say hi. You guys are killing it!!!! Shout out to Omar the trainee for saying hello and recognizing us from his last restaurant!
Isa was the best! He gave us so many recommendations and treated us like we’ve known each other forever. Loved the Mexican Martini! We loved the food! The place is on the smaller size but it feels cozy.
I’d been waiting to try this and it did not disappoint. Tony was our server, fajitas were great. Highly recommend brisket nachos and queso for starters. Shrimp and chicken fajitas were 10/10.
Fantastic concept by Vandelay in Snider Plaza. Great service and staff, the ambiance is incredible - the darker mood really makes it. Great drinks and food, definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The Chicken Fajitas are definitely delicious and it’s a generous portion. Brandon, Sara & Emily are great.

Juicy meat fajitas. No 2-seaters, so table is spacious for two, but reservations permitted for 3 or more people.
What else do you need Upscale atmosphere, Delicious food with Latino melody and the server we had he was Super Professional.
Had a phenomenal dinner here celebrating a birthday. The flaming margarita & ceviche are a MUST! Not traditional but the flavors of the ceviche alone have me craving it already. The place is very cozy & service was great. If you can, try to make a reservation because it gets busy quick.
The chicken fajitas were fantastic, and the price was great for the area. The house marg was also very tasty. The service was amazing, the waiters are very attentive. The tables were a little to close to each other for my taste but that would have been my only note (mostly due to the fact I feel like anyone in a mobile scooter would have difficulty getting around).
The food was absolutely amazing every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was also very good; everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can really tell they care about making sure you have a great experience. And I have to mention the flaming margarita it was not only a fun presentation but also tasted incredible! Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and I can’t wait to go back and try even more from their menu. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience here the fajitas were AMAZING! Marcy took care of us and made the perfect skinny marg! She made our experience great and I'll have to come back and try their enchiladas that she recommended but overall a cozy restaurant with great food and service
With what we read about this new addition to Snider Plaza's restaurant portfolio, we were extremely excited about El Molino. The food, service, and old school Mexico City vibes most definitely rose to our expectations! The mole on one of my enchiladas was the best I ever tasted. This is a must for elevated Mexican cuisine. We will return to try more deliciousness!

Fun atmosphere with great service. Busy and lively restaraunt with small menu that makes it easy to order. The food is tasty, but the portions are extremely small. The ribeye fajitas are very tasty but too small of a portion. The other dishes are quite Texanized. Overall, would return because of the ambience but isn't quite the best Dallas has to offer.
Cute small Mexican restaurant with a cozy vibe. The enchiladas were amazing. The rice that comes with them was good, though it had a bit too much seasoning. The Queso was delicious, Margaritas are strong, which I liked. The ceviche wasn’t our favorite, and the fajita portions are a bit small for the price, though the flavor is good. Overall, we’d come back again.
We were looking forward to try this restaurant. Our first impression when we entered was how dark the decoration and the ambiance. It was also extremely laud, it might be due to acquistic of the environment or loud music and as a result peole talking loudly. Coming to food, we tried brisket tacos and meat fajitas. They serve fajitas in a metal plate, I prefer sizzling classic fajita experince, them charging beans and rice extra is wild. Tacos were tasty at first but after eating one taco it is extremely salty and almost impossible to eat the rest without a margarita. Their margarita was good however loaded with ice making it 3 sips to finish.
The service and atmosphere were great. The drinks were also good. The food was just ok in my opinion. My smoky chicken enchiladas takes more like salt than anything. The steak filet that was supposed to be medium, was basically rare and still blue. Everything else just wasn’t as hyped up as all the reviews made it seem. I would go back but only for drinks and appetizers, not entrees.
El Molino was really good overall, but there were a few things worth noting. We ended up waiting about 35 minutes past our reservation time before being seated, which wasn’t ideal. That said, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. It has an Old World, New-York-style vibe that actually reminds me a bit of Javier’s — small, intimate, and atmospheric in all the right ways. They’re clearly still working through some new-restaurant kinks, both with pacing and with the level of attention from the staff. Thankfully, we were with friends and in no rush, so the slower experience didn’t ruin anything, but it definitely wasn’t the level of service we’ve come to expect from other Vandelay concepts. The food, for the most part, was very good. The cheese panella was great, the queso was solid, the chips were delicious, and the brisket nachos were a standout. The fajitas were tasty but the portions were surprisingly small — at forty dollars, I could barely put together one steak fajita and one shrimp fajita. On the flip side, the frozen margarita was one of the best I’ve had. Vandelay loves their frozen drinks, and they absolutely nailed it here. That’s what I’ll be ordering again next time. Despite the wait and the service hiccups, I’m looking forward to going back to try a few more dishes and hopefully enjoy a more streamlined experience.

We’ve long been devoted regulars at Doce Mesa — unless we’re out of town, you’ll find us there nearly every weekend for brunch — so when the opportunity arose to try El Molino, we approached it with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. The room itself was an absolute triumph on a chilly afternoon: warm, inviting, and elegantly appointed with proper white tablecloths that immediately set a refined, comfortable tone. It felt like the ideal setting for a leisurely, upscale brunch. Service, while friendly and attentive in many respects, fell slightly short of the polished standard one hopes for in a white-tablecloth establishment. There were a couple of moments where a touch more flexibility would have elevated the experience considerably. Our dining companions, equally passionate foodies, gently inquired about splitting the protein in the tacos between beef and chicken — a small request we’ve happily seen accommodated elsewhere — only to be told it wasn’t possible. Another modest substitution was also declined. In an otherwise quiet dining room with guests who were clearly eager to settle in, linger, and (given the chance) return often, a little gracious accommodation would have gone a long way and left us feeling truly valued. All that said, the warmth of the space and the evident care put into the overall concept make us very much want to return and explore the menu further — perhaps on a day when the kitchen and front-of-house are feeling a bit more generous with their options. There’s clear potential here for something special, and with just a shade more suppleness in service, we have no doubt this could become another cherished weekend destination someday.
The Filet Mignon fajitas were pretty good, and the enchiladas were okay. I really liked the margaritas, they were strong and tasty. The place looked nice and the service was friendly. We didnt care for the tortillas, they seemed store bought. We tried to tell the waiter who sat us that we had a reservation, but he didn't ask for our name. Later, I got an email saying we didn't show up, so there's that.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) The ambiance is really nice and inviting. Service was okay, nothing exceptional. The salsa portions were surprisingly small—one small plate for the entire table. The food is on the pricey side for what you get and overall just average. The brisket tacos did not have any veggies with it very dry.

Was looking forward to trying this new place out last night. Ordered the filet mignon fajitas medium rare. Then the server asked if rice and beans were okay I asked for double rice. Still came with rice and beans, tortillas were asked to be on corn they came out flour. To top it off once I received the bill at the end of the night I had been charged 5 dollars for a rice and beans that should have came with the order. Overall, this place didn’t live up to the hype and the pictures they post online are nothing close to what you get if you really eat there. The picture I’ll post shows the supposedly “medium rare” fajitas
