The customer service here is great! Sylvia is always so wonderful and helpful! I come in and get almost the same thing, since the food options are limited for my diet, but Sylvia and the ladies are worth it! Thank you!
The customer service was everything. The two guys that were working there was super nice and so informative. Great chill and relax spot I love will be coming again
THANK YOU, THANK, THANK YOU!!! If you’re going to read ANY review, let it be this one!! I have not been to a Paradise Bakery since I left Nebraska 10+ years ago. I recently moved to DFW and found this location and have been impatiently waiting to come here. I was nervous that after 10+ years of not coming into one of their establishments that I’d be disappointed by a drastic raise in price or change of quality. But to my delight, the moment I walked in, I was reminded of what a cafe should be. Warm, welcoming, clean, and full of good food to look at and eat. I ordered the chicken artichoke panini (as I always did) and OH MY GOODNESS!! SO GOOD!! It truly brought tears to my eyes that absolutely nothing had changed. I felt like Ego in Ratatouille when he was fed Ratatouille and was immediately transported back to his young self with his mother’s cooking. I haven’t had that feeling…ever. On top of an amazing sandwich, they still include their famous chocolate chip cookies to go along with it. So so yummy. Dare I say better than any other bakery chain! So, if you’re looking for a place to transport back to what it feels like to be in a cafe that makes amazing food and is, in my opinion, what a cafe SHOULD feel like, then please try this place out. I guarantee you won’t ever want to go to another cafe ever again. The price is also very good for the quality sandwiches and bakery items you get. Thank you to the staff who keep this place clean, thank you to the cashier for being so friendly, and thank you to the guy at the front of the line who is more than happy to give you recommendations of what to order. You’re all amazing!! Thank you for making my day! I won’t forget this and will be recommending this place to everyone I know for any occasion!
This team saved the day for me today! I was catering a celebration of life and the caterer under delivered in a big way. I walked in without any notice, and when others told me it was impossible. They built a sandwich tray for me on the fly along with a beautiful dessert display. I’m so very grateful that they were able to help me and they did it with a smile. Please share the love with this team this holiday season!!
Paradise Cafe is more than just a place to eat – it’s an experience. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed like family. The staff and manager consistently go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and cared for. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality these days!! One of the things that really sets Paradise Cafe apart is how they treat everyone with kindness and respect. They often go out of their way to help guests with mobility issues, making sure they’re comfortable and often helps them get in and out of the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, and welcoming atmosphere. Paradise Cafe truly is a gem.
I only eat Here as often as I can! Lol. Came in Yesterday and had the Paradise Club, loved it!! Stopped back by today for some Tea and a Cookie, Great stuff!!! Jenifer was Amazing and Her co-worker Lopez was killing it silently in the background. Thanks Guys you made my Sunday Rock
I came here for my book club meeting and had a great time. We received great service and complimentary cookies togo. The Chicken Artichoke Panini and Broccoli Cheese Soup was my favorite above all, second being the Turkey Bacon Ranch Panini. Also, how can I not mention the cookies!? The chocolate chip cookie was just fantastic! 🤤
Great place for a latte, lunch or linner! Walking in we felt a warmth. Very welcoming and the smells filled the room. The latte was very memorable, it was soothing and comparable to a Starbucks latte. But this latte was slightly more satisfying. The spinach and cheese quiche was delicious as well. I have never had one like theirs.
Had lunch today at Paradise. There was only ONE employee working. She was the only one who showed up, so I want to give her a shout out for being there and making our sandwiches! What a fabulous employee!!!
Everyday fun. The sugar cookies are the best. I do wish they had coke products, but perfect otherwise
The chicken salad sandwich is my all time favorite lunch! The only reason I subtracted a star is bc the bread is often stale.
We went here for coffee and breakfast to take back to our hotel. Incredibly friendly staff. The cookies looked amazing and I got a few mini chocolate chip oatmeal and they were delicious. Cookies were really good. I ordered a egg, cheese and ham croissant. It was a great portion. You could share it. Great flavor and freshly prepared. Good eggs that were freshly scrambled. Nice breakfast sandwich. The coffee wasn't my favorite. Tasted a bit burnt but might have just been a bad batch. Nice, big open dining space.
The customer service was excellent. I was warmly greeted when I entered and the person that took my order and delivered my food was very outgoing. I bought an orange juice and it tastes very fresh and was a good size. I also bought a ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwich. It all tastes fresh and they actually give you a good portion of ham but the bagel is not a bagel. That was disappointing. Finally I purchased a raspberry muffin. This was a good size and tasted fresh and was delicious. Price is a little on the higher side for what I bought but not over the top.
This restaurant was likely nice at one time, but has obviously not had any money put into it for quite some time. Several chairs were broken as well as booth seating. Coffee was nearly cold as well. Prices are decently low for Dallas though. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
Used to love this place. We would always stop for lunch to get salad and soup. Recently we started going back and sadly have been very disappointed I feel like either the cooks/food prep either need tk get to know the menu or use the menu when preparing food. Last two times we came here we had to send food back cause it was completely wrong. For example this last time my wife ordered the chicken and artichoke panini. It arrived as toast with a slice of turkey. I ordered the grilled cheese deluxe and was on burnt white bread toast with cheese and bacon (pictured). Previous time I ordered the California turkey and served on cold regular white bread and not sourdough and that’s after sending it back cause it was the wrong sandwich. I understand COVid 19 limitations and understaffing so we waited patiently and disappointed Not sure what has happened but hoping it improves and they get back to speed. Cookies were delicious as always thankfully lol
My mom and I went to Paradise for a quick lunch. We ordered a full size plain turkey and cheddar sandwich on sourdough, but we received our sandwich on white bread. We went to ask if we could get the sandwich switched out to sourdough, since that is what we ordered, but we were met with an immediate “no that is sourdough” in a rude tone from one of the employees. My mom and I both are very patient when it comes to food service and retail workers since we both work in the retail industry ourselves, but we weren’t able to get the sandwich that we ordered because of that employee’s insistence on that we were wrong. We still ate the sandwich since it isn’t a big deal having the wrong bread, but it was very disappointing hearing such a rude tone when we received something wrong with our order and not even being able to get it fixed. This being said we had the best cashier. Areli (I’m sorry if this is spelled wrong) was so kind and was having such nice and considerate conversations with us and the customers before us! Definitely made up for the other service we received!
The items on the ticket didn't match the paninis we ordered, and the items they brought to the table didn't match either the paninis we ordered nor the items they charged on the ticket. They completely misplaced the order. We asked for coffee and they gave soft drinks. They said paninis include a cookie, but they didn't bring it to the table. I'm not really sure if I got a panini or a very expensive cheese sandwich.
This place has gone downhill. Food was not great. Bugs flying around the bakery case. Bathrooms in rough shape. Kids fruit cup contained the cheap melons only.
Ordered a cafe mocha. They had a beautiful espresso machine but the coffee they made was literally undrinkable. I had to throw it out. The whole thing.
Food tastes so bad. Very very average. The chicken and artichoke sandwich tastes literally like glue and plastic. It may be a place for grabbing a quick coffee but all the food we had was very poor flavor.
Do not go here! They did not have the products for an advertised drink, charged me 50% upgrade for an alternative latte and the cashier had an attitude when I asked for a receipt. I told her she was rude. Subpar service and quality. When I asked to speak with the manager she told me, “I’m the boss” and reluctantly gave the name Susan. Drive past and go somewhere else.
