Amazing food, atmosphere was amazing. We have to talk about a certain server greeter by the name of Balanced. Wow this guys was so knowledgeable about the menu was very helpful and was very attentive. I haven’t seen this type of service in a very long time.

I’m into a lot of burger places in my day but this one definitely it’s top of the list! Great vibe chill atmosphere super friendly staff. Food was incredible and they got everything perfect. Went to this location on Friday December 19 for my birthday 🎈. Everyone was amazing from the lady's greeting us at the door to the waitress we had. Staff was phenomenal, it seems to be the management were definitely on top of everything and coming by the table to check to see how we were doing. Top notch! Food also was phenomenal everything fresh and hot every time it was served from the appetizers to the entree! And like always, the margaritas were top-notch delicious. I definitely would recommend this location

Lunch with two teens yesterday at noon. As with most restaurants that serve Latin cuisine, we were immediately served a bowl of warm corn chips with red salsa, salsa verde, and black bean dip that went fast. Our servers took good care of us and everything came out just as we'd expect. We had no wait time to be seated and it may be because it was a Monday noon. The dining room is large and open with a calming lighting, a comforting ambiance. We all ordered from the lunch menu and the portion sizes were not too much. The price, I'd say its reasonable for this area. I dislike these huge plates of food that serve 3 people. We had just the right amount. Gloria's has been around a long time in Addison. Let's talk about PARKING. Gloria's is located at Village Parkway and there is parking in the center area all the way down the shopping area. We were fortunate because there was plenty of parking yesterday. There is also a parking garage and signs can direct you to that area. I believe there is valet. Plan ahead! Would I come back to Gloria's? YES!

Dinner with friends. Lindsay took good care of us. Service was a relaxed pace. Cocktails were good. The black bean puree dip was so good that we asked for more. I ordered the strawberry margarita to drink and a small guacamole to start. I enjoyed both items especially as the guacamole was fresh! For the main, I ordered the tacos (2 chicken, 1 beef) with corn tortillas - it came with rice and beans. The tacos were enjoyable and had good flavor. Overall, this spot has a new aesthetic, the customer service was great, and food good. I would return to try other items!

Overall 9/10 I will return! Received a recommendation from friends to try this place, and I am truly glad we did! Oscar our server was AMAZING! Our food wait times were all very short and drinks were NEVER empty. We had delicious HOT tortilla chips w red salsa, green salsa, and black bean paste the second we sat down. They were ALL delicious. Oscar even gave us more chips when we were only about half way finished, just to make sure they stayed hot! The pupusas were delicious and the side cabbage like dish paired very well with it 8.4/10(idk what it was exactly, but it was good!) The margarita was STRONG, but smooth, 8/10.My horchata was unique compared to most, almost like a toasted cinnamon taste, 9.2/10. Tamarind drink was delicious aswell, my first time having that 8/10. Enchiladas were excellent 8/10, along with great rice and beans! The steak was a good 7.6/10, i didnt expect the best steak from here, but I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Parking gets tricky during the weekends and Friday nights due to all the cool places around. There is a parking garage not very far away.

Love this place! We ate here at least twice during our week-long convention. Great bar, with some unique beverage ideas and a very strong menu. I tasted a lot of food, and was never disappointed. They even deliver chips, beans, and 2 salsas to the table when you arrive. I am sure we will be back, as they can also field larger groups of people and parties for business or personal use. This is a family owned chain, not a franchise.

Visited this restaurant last month and we still have Gloria's on our mind! We didn't have any reservations and weren't able to book online yet we were nearby and just wanted to take a peek! Our Uber driver spoke highly of this restaurant when we passed on the way to our hotel from the airport. Arrived on a Saturday evening and had to wait about 35 minutes to be seated. The ambiance is STUNNING! It's energetic and luxurious. The food was beautifully presented and our server Vanessa was delightful! She was great at answering our questions and suggesting menu items based on our preferences. So nice to receive recommendations based on what we like rather than what a server wants to sell us. Bravo Vanessa! Israel, manager, was so kind to stop by and we went on and on about how wonderful Vanessa was. There's a complimentary photo experience near the front entrance that everyone uses that is fantastic! That photo is on our kitchen counter now and we love telling everyone about Gloria's in Addison! I 100% highly recommend this restaurant for a first date, girls night out, or family celebration!

Solid food, friendly but haphazard service. I had the double bacon jam, which was delicious. I initially tried to order the magic mushroom, only to be told they were out of mushrooms. Other members of my party had special requests, which were mixed up. It took long enough to get our food in the first place that nobody wanted them corrected. One person ordered a fried chicken sandwich and it came out grilled. The parmesan truffle fries and hot brussels were both tasty. I'd go back--because the food was good--while hoping the chaos with the service was a one-off.

Parmesan Truffle Crispy Brussel Leaves -(9/10): I liked this a lot more than I thought. I usually don’t order these types of things, but I’m glad I did. Seasoned really well, texture is like smoked crispy seaweed. Parmesan Truffle Fries -(8/10): For those who like crispy fries, this is a great selection. It was lacking the potato flavor I think due to being cut so small. Overall, food had great flavor. Service was minimal but good. Price point a bit on the higher side for the burgers. The sides are definitely worth the portion size.

We enjoyed an evening of South American cuisine,Salvadoran style, which is a little more spicy than I am used to but very tasty. Gloria’s is a long time anchor restaurant in Addison. Chips were excellent, salsas were spicy and the margarita was strong. We had tilapia and grilled shrimp meals which were delicious and portions were generous. We had the churros with ice cream culinary delight for desert. SURPRISE NOTE: I did not know that. On Saturdays after 11pm until 2am the huge dining room and bar area is cleared of most tables and chairs and transforms into a Latin nightclub with live Latin bands and/or DJs providing music, strobe mood lights are turned on and the dance floor fills up with people dancing the night away. This location which was remodelled a few years ago also includes a beautiful outdoor covered patio. Definitely worth checking out for a culinary adventure or for some salsa or merengue dancing for the younger crowds.

Decent food. The problem with this place is they do not bring out your burger with your fries. I have never been to a burger place that does not serve burgers with fries.

The fajitas where good however no salsa was provided, and we got 3 strips of chicken 2 of beef. this is the reason why I'm giving them 3 stars. the churros where fresh filled with cajeta and custard. the cake was delicious and moist. I do recommend however portions are small and pricey.

Normally, Gloria’s is a slam dunk. Food, service, atmosphere are all working in tandem for an amazing dining experience. Today the food and atmosphere was in check but the service was severely lacking. I almost was able to capture a photo of the 4 servers at a wait stand about 6’ from our table, just standing around and enjoying the Gloria’s social club. However, as soon as they saw my phone aim their direction they scattered like creatures afraid of light. A manager did pass our table early once and everything was fine at that point. After that pass by, it went downhill rapidly. No refills, attempts to get attention or ask for our server went unanswered. When we asked for our check to a passing waitperson, we were told that we are not their table but they will find someone to help. The food was delicious. Truly, the food always slams at Gloria’s. This visit was highly marred lackluster and not up to par service. We will return as we choose to believe this is a one off.

2.3 stars. 1st time customer. Experience was “meh”. Ordered chicken tenders and a side of regular fries. Total with tip came out to right at $20. Chicken tenders were greasy and not crispy. Fries were soggy and not impressive. Service team was friendly as expected but nothing beyond average. Restaurant was clean as well. With so many great options nearby, I just don’t see that Hopdoddy is worth a try. Definitely won’t be back.

Gloria felt more like glorified over priced Mexican/Latin. Definitely not blown away or have the desire to ever go back. The service was awesome though. I did enjoy the black bean dip/salsa served. I ended up ordering the salmon dish and it was good but in a heavy cream sauce. In this case, the restaurant served its purpose of being able to reconnect with friends. The food itself provided sustenance but no real joy or excitement when eating it. It wasn’t bad by any means though. Just don’t go expecting too much. Enjoy that black bean dip though- lather that on everything haha.

You know I’m not completely against pre-tipping. I mean tips was originally an acronym for To Insure Prompt Service. When I cruise I pre pay gratuities. But on a Royal Caribbean cruise the service is so GREAT I always leave more … I will NEVER AGAIN leave a tip at Hopdoddy. I left a generous 20% tip … one employee brought me my food and didn’t seem to like the fact that I was there so late. Well I’m sorry I drove from Houston to Dallas and was starving and wanted a good burger. The bartender that took my order suggested a both because I’m sure he didn’t want me to sit at his bar so I guess it was the “server” waiting on that booth that brought me my food. But NO ONE checked to see if I needed a refill on my water … didn’t even come by to see if my food was ok. SERIOUSLY. If you go to this Hopdoddy do NOT tip when you order and pay. Take cash and if they do a good job you can tip them. FOOD WAS GREAT. Service was worse than fast food.
