We had a great experience at this Saltgrass location. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our server, CC, was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the queso with brisket appetizer; it’s a must-try!
Very friendly and professional staff (Richard) who was attentive but unobtrusive. Brought me a second cup of hot water without me having to ask, took order and while we didn't have to wait long, he made sure we have nice warm bread once we ordered. Food was good as always and his sense of humor made dining there enjoyable as well 👍🏻
Another consistently delicious meal & friendly helpful service from Madison!
A surprisingly great experience. Went at 6:30pm on 03/14/25. Seated immediately and server, Brian, was waiting for us. He was knowledgeable about the menu (wife asked lots of questions) and gave great service. Good attitude, shared in my jokes, and made the dinner date with my wife more enjoyable for both. Appetizer came fast, and meal was soon after the appetizer, just how we like it. Thanks Brian. You're a good man.
This is the 1st time we have eaten at Saltgrass Steakhouse. It did NOT disappoint. To start with, our waiter Leo, found out it was our first time in and was very helpful in our food choices. We both had steak, I had the 12oz Pat's rib eye, my husband had the Texas T-bone and both were cooked to perfection. It was a perfect medium-rare, which we asked for, it was tender and juicy. We had the "Range Rattlers" as an appetizer, (I highly recommend them). The house salad was fresh and delicious. We ordered the sauteed mushrooms to go with our steak, also very delicious!. Sorry the picture does not do it justice. I forgot to take the picture until I was halfway done eating. It was so good. Lol
Great service! The manager was incredibly patient and helpful as well as our waitstaff. Our food was excellent.
We have been there twice on a family dinner. The restaurant is cozy. The first time our waiter was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately I forgot his name of which I am ashamed since he would definitely deserve to mention him as a professional. He gave exceptional recommendations and took very good of the whole table both the foods and wines. For the second time I wanted to have the same waiter I was on about but he was not working that day. We missed him a lot. His colleague was rather on the way of studying and practicing how to be a pro. Luckily we were very busy with talking since we rarely see each other and to be perfectly honest the service previously it was so good that I did not want to notice the noticeably less we got. Fist time our server was so outstanding that I could have forgiven anything for his colleague. I always forget that a salad is coming on the side so be careful when you order, portions are huge. I am sure every steak is excellent in this restaurant. I had the one with the creole shrimp on top. You shall let your waiter which wine to choose when you order since this restaurant regularly gets very busy and you might not get your wine in time if you do otherwise. If you come here eat steak as you like, order wine together with your entree and listen to the recommendations of your waiter. You will not get disappointed.
It’s my first time at this location and I had a great time. I came in and pretty much got sat immediately. My server, Christan, was very nice and very attentive. Always checking up on me to see how I was doing. I had a Texas Tea and a 8oz Top Sirloin and for my started I had the load mash potato soup! Everything tasted wonderful.
Everything was perfect. Absolutely 💯 love ❤️ Saltgrass Steak House. This location in Dallas, TX, got it right ✅️. 5 - Stars all around for excellent food, superb service from staffers, and a great dining experience and atmosphere. I recommend dining for lunch or dinner. It's all around a great experience and great food. " Sometimes, life just calls, for having a great steak dinner".... Reward yourself with a great dinner at this location. You'll be glad you did. 😌
My parents are visiting, and we wanted steak, but didn’t want to go to a really expensive, luxurious steakhouse; so we decided on Saltgrass after doing some research. It was exactly what we wanted! We all got ribeyes, I got the side Caesar, they got the side wedge, I got the broccoli side, and they both got baked potatoes. All 3 steaks were cooked perfectly (which I feel like rarely happens at some other places) and they had great flavor. The Caesar was homemade and was REALLY good. They bread they bring out was super good. I got the broccoli with the cheese (which was actually queso), but I’d skip the cheese next time. We also got the carrot cake. HUGE portion, so definitely share it or take home the rest! Great service and everything came super quickly!
“I had the T-bone steak and it was absolutely delicious. The place has a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Dee Taylor for being so friendly and attentive!”
This is my favorite Saltgrass location. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the food is always hot and fresh. This location has clean facilities, a clean dining area, and welcoming bar. I like to order the Chicken Fried Chicken, my only complaint is that they never give you enough gravy. I have to order extra gravy every single time.
I was invited for dinner after a Fashion Show. As soon as we walked in, we were Greeted with Kindness. Our Server Corina and her assistant were so Nice and Very Attentive. I ordered a Rib Eye Steak, which was cooked to perfection, medium rare. I also had their delicious salad and awesome tasting ranch dressing, Oh...let's not forget their Oh so Good, complementary bread with butter. The Restaurant was clean with a cool Atmosphere. Family Friendly. They also had several Televisions for those Sports Fans. The bar seemed nice, I had no Alcoholic Beverage, just coke, but as I was leaving, I noticed a patron enjoying a Tasty looking Cosmopolitan and looked pleased as she took a drink. I most definitely will go back and recommend you try this location. Thank You Saltgrass !
We were greeted immediately and seated. Our waiter Edley,I believe that's what he said was very attentive and hospitable, if you go please ask for him. He anticipated our needs, when we ordered sweet tea for drinks, instead of waiting for us to ask for refills, he bought two extra bottles of sweet tea, what a way to anticipate our needs. The fried pickles and mushrooms were five star. My daughter loved the mini corn dogs, the grilled and fried shrimps were good. My party couldn't finish their steaks and ribs because the portions of the mushrooms and pickles were large and filling, Saltgrass haven't let me down yes
My friend and I ate here back in February of 2023 and Harley was a fantastic server! We made sure to tip well! We were greeted quickly and with great respect, brought to our tables instantly and promptly got a server. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken with green beans and it was some of the best Chicken Fried Chicken I’ve tasted! Perfectly cooked! All the food was fantastic and brought out quickly, we never ran out of drink, and were always made sure we were good on everything. I made sure to let the manager know about the fabulous service! We will definitely be returning! This is some great southern hospitality!
We had a party of 25 and all of our three servers were very attentive. Food was delicious . Highly recommend pats ribeye very flavorful.
We stopped here for a late lunch on our way back from business travel. I love Salt Grass and this location did not disappoint. The food was delicious as always!! Our server, Danny, was awesome!! (I am very bad with names and a couple of weeks have passed since our visit, so I had to look at the receipt to ensure I am listing the correct name.) Although there were 8 of us, Danny did not miss a beat. He was very friendly, professional, attentive, personable, helpful and accommodating. He kept our glasses full without us having to ask. He was also very quick with cashing us out and making sure everyone received their correct credit cards back, etc. All of my coworkers spoke about how much they enjoyed this experience, etc. Great job Danny!!!
Wow. First time Saltgrass eater and we experienced a long lasting experience. With memorable moments we were comforted by the manager Jill, served to perfection with Naomi, got great recommendations with John, and had a blast laughing with Sammy aka salmon, and Jacob. It was a great time talking about video games, tattoos, drinks, and bonding. We came to Texas and got the best of at Saltgrass
I have visited Texas before but this was my first time to Dallas. Our hotel was across the highway from Saltgrass Steakhouse and after a long travel day from Montana, it was a convenient choice. I have traveled to all fifty states and am not prone to ordering steak for dinner. But hey ... I was in Dallas, so why not try a Texas T-bone. I did. It came char-grilled to perfection ... the medium rare that I ordered. I paired it with a Caesar salad that was over the moon in its taste and presentation. Parmesan croutons that were mixed throughout the salad hit all the right notes, and paired with a bottle of Prisoner wine all made for a memorable night out in Dallas. No review would be complete without giving a shout out to Henry, our waiter. He was knowledgeable and delivered the highest level of courtesy and service to my wife and I. He needs to be commended. If I never eat another steak, I'll remember the best one I ever had ... Saltgrass Steakhouse.Try them the next time you are in Dallas, you won't be disappointed.
Every time we visited the steaks were consistently teriffic. Excellent quality steak meats, ribye (our favorite), NY cut, philet mignon, porterhouse, etc. and cooked exactly to order. The "dustcutters" are pretty good too, as well as the New York cheesecake.
Took the family for Valentines day made reservations. Service was amazing staff was great, Mangers were great and the food was delicious!!!! This is my favorite location.
I was in town for just a couple of nights in a hotel nearby. I decided to stop in for dinner and have a steak. The salad was crisp, and the filet was cooked to perfection. The warm bread with honey butter was amazing. My server, Camie, made sure my experience was everything it should be. I'm truly grateful for her knowledge of the menu and her great sense of humor. Her recommendation of the cheesecake for dessert was spot on. If you're looking for a great steak, I highly recommend Saltgrass.
Went for Thanksgiving made a reservation waited maybe five minutes. Great experience service was phenomenal. Food was great. Both me and my son enjoyed our Thanksgiving.
This is a really nice restaurant with good steaks. I would consider it in a medium class category as its nicer than a Texas Roadhouse but its not high class like Nick and Sam's. Its a great restaurant for grabbing a casual meal or business dinner.
Sat at the bar a few weeks ago, steak was cooked perfect, vegetables and salad was very good. Bar was 3/4 of the way full. All in all good service. Bartender could have been slightly more attentive to refills. Everyone in building was very pleasant. Will return.
I love the atmosphere and people. I always ask for Zena as she is personable and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. What really sets her apart is how she remembers you - your name, your usual order, and the little preferences that make dining out feel personal. Outstanding service and great food.
Our food was perfectly cooked and the potatoe soup?? Awesome!! And fair warning, if you get a slice of chocolate cake it's huge! Enjoyed the entire meal and our waitress rocked! Will b back!
We took Mother in law for BDay dinner. It was delicious. Hubby and I shared steak and shrimp. It was almost too much but totally worth it. Our whole party enjoyed our meals and our server. I've met her at another Restaurant where she served us twice in the past year, so three times now. She was just as good. She smiled and took great care of us.
Took my beautiful wife out for a nice dinner. This Saltgrass never disappoints. The service was great! I hate that I forgot the young lady's name as she was the best server i ever had at this location. Friendly, great advice on the menu, and really took care of us. My wife had the chicken fried chicken and I had the large prime rib. Food was on point, pineapple margaritas were delish and the pumpkin cheesecake was one of the best we ever had. Thanks SG Team for a beautiful night after a long week.
America the Manager is excellent. Great people skills and very helpful. He checks on customers and solves any concerns quickly. Starlight, who is a trainer and serves tables, is awesome. A great voice, beautiful herself, and awesome in customer service. My wife and I will definitely go back and request her. Food and atmosphere were great! I would give it a ten if there were such a thing! Suggest the blackened reddish and the grilled double-pork chops with bourbon sauce. Both are awesome!
There’s a certain comfort in places that don’t try too hard. Saltgrass is one of them. It’s dependable, the kind of joint where you can walk in solo after church, slide onto a barstool, and know you’re in good hands. Today was one of those Sundays. The congregation scattered, my parents are off on vacation, and I didn’t feel like heading home to eat leftovers. So I came here, a familiar outpost where I’ve shared plenty of lunches with family. I ordered the steak and ribs, both solid, cooked right, ribs fell off the bone, no fuss, no pretense. The tortilla soup hit the spot: brothy, salty, rich. I threw in an order of truffle parm fries because sometimes you just need a little indulgence to start the week right. The bartender, Reilly, a cute young woman from Savannah, carried the kind of Southern hospitality that feels less like a performance and more like a reflex. Polite, warm, effortlessly kind. She made lunch alone feel like catching up with an old friend. There’s a rhythm to good hospitality: timing, tone, a sense that you belong. Saltgrass has that. Especially this one. If you’re in the area and want a solid steak, a good drink (coke for me today), and a dose of that Southern charm that’s getting harder to find, this is your spot!
It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I loved the food, my steak was cooked perfect. I loved the flavor of the food, and the smoked Mac and cheese was amazing. I would come again here and also recommend others. The servers and the host were very kind. I couldn't get a before picture of my food, once I saw it I immediately dug in and savored every bite.
We were blessed enough to be seated at a booth that faced the big screen so we could watch the Cowboys play...it was near three when our efficient, kind, attentive waiter, Dee took such good care of us! We were allowed to watch the game, not feel pressured, and to fellowship after leaving Springcreek Church, in Garland. It was relaxing, comfortable, and we were well taken care of! We strongly recommend it.
Came here for dinner with a buddy of mine and I ordered the silver star porter house steak cooked medium rare 😋 . Delicious and perfectly cooked. The salads are delicious. Overall great night crew and managers that night. They even let you stay past closing time and offered another drink before closing. Which was very thoughtful and nice.
Texas Saltgrass was excellent, I'm a pescatarean and sometimes my choices are limited, but here I had a very good experience in my selection. I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was creamy, shrimp was plump and fresh so I will return to try everything pescatarean and I cant wait!! Waiter was named Brandon and he was so attentive, thanks for your recommendation BRANDON.... customers request him because he is awesome and not grumpy like the other waitress.
We chose this location for our friend’s birthday. They let us decorate and our waiter was very helpful. We greatly appreciated the service! And the ambiance was quiet and cozy. The food was great as usual. And we enjoyed our steaks! We tried the filet mignon and our friends tried the T-bone. He said steak is second only to Texas bbq. We will come again!
Always a good experience. The vibe, staff and food quality is spot on. The portion sizes are perfect. Good options for side items and drinks as well. They have a nice bar if you prefer to sit there. The staff is so kind and attentive, and the food comes out rather quickly compared to other steak houses. Always a pleasure to visit!

Exactly what you would expect from a Steakhouse. Server was great, food runner not souch, but our server went above and beyond to make sure everything else was amazing.
While the steak was undercooked and average, (I asked for medium), the smoked Mac n cheese was very flavorful as were the fried mushrooms.
First time here as we are from Tulsa. Found it by Google reviews that said it was LGBT friendly. It was a Friday at 430 so we were seated quickly. The bread and salad were both good. The steaks were ok at best with the filet tasting the best. The ribeye was ok but not the best. As soon a we got our food a large table came in and our server forgot about us. No refills no service after they came in. Would give a five star but service was blown.
Cynthia gave me wonderful service and suggestions. Caesar salad delicious as well as the steak. I wished the bread was warm, but I will return.
I got the lunch sirloin. It tasted great but left a lot to be desired. The presentation was just a steak and mashed potatoes on a white plate. Maybe add some seasonal vegetables or something to make the plate look better or more filling.
The steak lacked in zest but the brussel sprouts were quite amazing. I would definitely recommend going here. Nearly perfect dining experience.
This was a good restaurant and this was one of the better filet mignon in terms of taste and texture. I had a top sirloin that was medium rare. I have to say they got it right. I am not a big steak eater and generally eat at the $50 steak house. This steak was around $20 and it was as good at more expensive streaks I had. The place is not really unique with food or experience and is the only reason for losing a star. If you are looking semi casual steak house then this saltgrass is a great choice. I have to point out the gentleman who I believed was the floor manager. He was very attentive and entertaining. He ensure that our drinks were well mixed.
Needed a steak. Got the 16 oz ribeye with broccoli and a wedge salad. Had a reward coupon that I had forgotten about, so also paid less than half price!
We showed up with a group of seven and no reservation. We were seated right away. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Steak was slight overcooked, but food was still good. Would certainly recommend for a working lunch/dinner.
Been to this location a couple times before, another good experience today. Waiter, Evan, was very friendly and helpful and made our visit enjoyable. We were keeping it simple this time and just got entrees (no appetizers or desserts, and only one drink, a mock tail). Food was good. I got the chicken Laredo entree which was quite tasty, chicken was nice and tender. Sweet potato fries and side of potato soup were good too. Only 4 stars for a couple reasons: the bread was rather dry, outside surface extra hard and crispy, didn’t enjoy it as much as usual; made a different drink than what we ordered, and when they charged us, charged us for wrong price - they did sort it out but we had to wait quite a while for corrected check. Other than that, good experience. Will be back.
Excellent atmosphere, great service! Shrimp poppers were outstanding. The onion rings were skinny but chewy - aim for crispy and soft insides even when cold. Ordered grilled shrimp with the steak - seasoned to great flavor and looked great but weren't cooked all the way. Steaks were cooked just the way we wanted and were delicious. The ribs were blackened a bit more than preferred. Worth the go, but other steakhouses may offer a bit more for a little less.
Our meal was amazing but fell short when it came to the service. For the amount of $$ we dropped our server just wasn't on top of the game. Request went unheard and when we needed something our server was nowhere. We celebrated two birthdays in our group and the service just fell short. Other than that the steak was delicious and tender. Salad was crisp and cold. Clean restaurant and parking was ample. Definitely will return for the food but hopefully we can get a server who's more attentive.
I got s cheese burger that was over cook but the manager here is very responsive. One of the best managers I have seen in a while. He has come bye and ask how we are doing several times. I do not mind issues but I hate being ignored when something is wrong. I want to personally thank (Mr schnoor) he is that manager that has been very good.
Great service, our server really took great care of us. I love to get the ribs wherever I go and compare them to the best ribs I have ever had and these were just middle of the road. Even with the sauce they seemed a little dry. The rest of the food was good. Wife had a center cut steak, one daughter had the salmon and the other got a shrimp and artichoke pasta dish that she really liked.

Steak was tough. cheap. Even the vegetables weren't cooked well. Like getting a steak from Whataburger. Like somebody pieced a bunch of odd pieces of meat together and cooked it. And the bread was …
Service was great. I've steak overdone one was underdone. Broccoli was undercooked. But everything the was great.
Was our first night in Richardson for a business trip. Saw Saltgrass pop up as being a Texas version Outback or Longhorn steak house. I would agree with that assessment. I had the Ribs n grilled shrimp. Ribs were true to the description of "fall off the bone", sauce tasted like a sweet baby Ray's, which is ok...but I would have figured Texas would have some better flavors. Grilled shrimp was fine. I also had the potato soup with my meal which I think would have been better if it was thick like a chowder. Onion straws were fine, though my hubby didn't care for them. My husband had Steak n shrimp. He thought it was fine as well. He did eat the whole thing. Would I come back or recommend...eeehhh I would suggest finding some other options. It's fine if your wanting an Outback or Longhorn style. I also had the pineapple margarita (served in an "old fashioned drink" type glass) I would not have known it was pineapple if I did not see the 1/4 pineape garnish. I would stick with a beer or wine.
I love Saltgrass, but this was my first time to the Richardson location and I was unimpressed. A steakhouse ought to be able to get the cook on a steak correct. I ordered medium-well and it came out medium. I was so excited to try the brussel sprouts but then they just came out as blackened leaves. I get charring them, but these were completely inedible. We were there on a Saturday at lunch time and there were very few people in the restaurant, but our waiter didn’t come out until we were almost finished and then just said, “Was everything great?” We were on our way to a play, so I didn’t have time to wait for him to come around to check on the food and get my steak cooked, but he was able to replace the brussel sprouts and the 2nd iteration was better, with 1/2 that was edible. Plus, the waiter didn’t ask for our loyalty card and I forgot, so we missed out on our points. I would love to stop at this location when going to an event in Dallas, but I was sorely disappointed.
I am giving it a 3 star because it's over priced. My first at Saltgrass. My sister and I came to celebrate our birthday along with our family about a week ago. Service was great! Our server was super nice and attentive. Everyone's food was great, but I ordered the Blackended Redfish. It says it comes with shrimp and I got 0 shrimp. It's a thin slice of fish filet with a little bit of crab meat and a whole bunch of tomato. Big chunks of tomato. The flavor is good don't get me wrong, I just think it's not worth $32. I'm glad our party had a great time. I may try something else if I come back.
It is Sunday and they are busy. The staffs are helpful and really patient to get your order right. They will serve you warm bread with butter before your food is ready. I had salmon salad 🥗 with honey mustard, but it was a bit salty to me. Also, i had bbq rib and shrimps with sweet potatoes fries 🍟 which is my favorite :)
I have visited a Saltgrass Steak House before and had been pleased. I hoped for the same on this trip while on a trip to Mesquite for a conference. The atmosphere seemed a little drab, for lack of a better word, upon entrance I was seated right away which surprised me for a Friday night. I did receive all the food I ordered in timely stages and did appreciate it. Aside for this , I saw my server at other tables but once at mine beside giving me the check. The ribs were fall off the bone but the sauce did not suit me. I will concede that this is my own opinion. The chicken, which I took to the hotel for though cooked perfectly did not tasted good at all. Once again, I concede, it is my opinion. All in, it was not a pleasant experience on all levels. Do not know if I will try it again.
Service was good, but both steaks were wrong. We both ordered medium but mine was cooked to medium-well, and the other person's was rare. We were eventually able to request the rare steak be cooked to medium. The picture attached to this review was after it had been cooked again. We were disappointed because the steak was what we went for and expected a better experience based on reviews. Maybe we went at the wrong time.
Two main things, the portion sizes were disappointing for the grilled chicken salad and only slightly better for the chicken fried steak. Food tasted good and service was excellent but the real problem is the value for your money. I paid $45 for two people to have lunch and the value just wasn’t there. I’m not paying for the atmosphere. I’m paying for the food value and service. Just wasn’t there and I’m not coming back.
The place is clean, the hostess wasn't friendly. The server acted like he didn't want to work, he wasn't friendly either. He told us that he was going to bring fresh bread since it was not ready yet. He left the plates for the bread and never brought it. He took our orders and brought the drinks, we still waiting for the bread...he brought our food and he left, we were waiting for him to come back and refill our drinks, the restaurant was not busy so I was wondering why he didn't returned to check on us. The food was pretty good and tasty. Finally he showed up and asked if we needed to go boxes then he brought the ticket for me to pay. We have been there many times and we never had a bad service at all. But this time I was very disappointed and my family too.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mixed Feelings: Great Food, Disappointing Experience We visited Soulgrass Steakhouse after seeing an online offer for two lunch entrees for $25. However, when we arrived, the waiter told us that the offer was for a different steakhouse, despite it being advertised on their website. After showing him the ad, he seemed unsure and said he needed to talk to his manager but never followed up. Instead, he steered us toward pricier options on the menu, and we ended up paying $29 per steak instead of the advertised $25 for two. The pushy upselling felt uncomfortable and misleading. That said, the food was genuinely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and a real treat. The fries were also great, and overall, the quality of the food was excellent. The waiter was friendly, aside from the sales push, and the overall service was decent. It’s a shame that the confusion (or refusal) to honor the advertised promotion left a bad taste. It felt like a bit of a bait-and-switch situation. If it weren’t for that, this could easily have been a five-star review. Hopefully, they clarify their promotions and avoid this kind of confusion in the future.
I've been a big fan of Saltgrass steak House for years and frequently dine at the Austin-area locations as a Landry's Select Club member. Normally, the experience is excellent--great steaks, fres…
Sadly we did not enjoy our last visit to Salt Grass as well as our previous visits. The menu has changed and the steaks are prohibitively priced and not as good as they used to be. I ordered a 16 o…

My husband and I was annoyed because it was his birthday and we set it for 8 o’ clock reservation for 2 and got a confirmation text. We got there and they sat about 6 two party couples before us after we went to hostess stand verifying our party of 2 was down for 8 o’clock. My husband was confused and got up and asked why only to discover the host forgot and had us down for 8 ppl. So we’re annoyed. Get to the table and order food. Why my food was cold? They put the wrong toppings on my husband potatoes. And didn’t get his other side until about 15 minutes later. Another 10 go by before we get condiments. So basically we paid 90.0 for cold food. I knew I should have taken him to Ruth Chris. Still kicking myself in the ass for this. Oh yeah and the food is salty as hell!
Waitress was too busy chitchatting with someone. Had to ask someone else to get us more drinks. Steak was under cook and again had to search for waitress to have it cooked more. Ask for A1 3 times before we got any. And they were not busy. Had to flag her down to get our check because again she was too busy visiting friends.
The service was going good until they forgotten the chocolate cake for my friends daughter. First she asked for cheesecake and failed to mentioned that that didn't have it. After we had finished eating and she was still waiting for her chocolate cake. She wanted to eat it as a meal with the rest of us. The bake potatoes were good, the chicken according to my friend who as actually who invited us there, mentioned that this place as not as good as the other location. We are not coming back here again.
The atmosphere was up to the standard atmosphere of a Saltgrass location, however this particular location was fairly empty and seemed a little more drab. As soon as we entered we were asked how many which we had a party of 8, we were then asked if we had a reservation because of the large group to which we responded no. The host seems almost annoyed and surprised we hadn’t called in. They were not busy by any means and there were several empty tables (I can now see why). Our server also seemed annoyed by our group as soon as they noticed we had children. They were continually making snide comments towards our group. Just an fyi prime rib is on their menu but apparently is only available two days of the week. When we all received our food the shrimp was HEAVILY salted to the point it was almost unbearable. The macaroni for our entire group was very cold. The 9oz steak fillet we ordered was definitely closer to 6oz and did not taste like a fillet (it was not very tender at all). The ribs we received were charred to the point of tasting burnt. Overall a highly disappointing experience. The manager approached us that evening after our bill and thanked us for coming in. He was the most pleasant of any of the staff we worked with. We are not ones to complain or try and get discounts or credits for unliked items… however we definitely review accordingly. I can not express enough how I have never been this dissatisfied at a saltgrass location. It is usually one of our favorite affordable steakhouses. I can not say that of this location.

Would leave zero if I could, got sat at our table and waited for 25 mins and nobody came to get our drinks or even bothered to attend us, ended up walking out without being served.
Our waitress was too pushy about us taking their membership, he was so pushy he brought it up every time he was called for a refill or anything else. After all he also wrote by hand on our tag recommending 18% to 20% tip. We only gave him a 15% tip ($20) but really didn’t feel like leaving a tip at all.
So I ordered the cheese" fries" first of all it wasn't fries it was potato chunks and there wasn't much cheese on them either. Usually everything is good here, but this was nasty and a for sure miss.
I placed a $120 togo order, and it was horrible! My husband went to pick up, and they couldn't even find the order! The 3 steaks were raw (ordered medium well) with zero flavor, and all the salads were bad (brown, red, and stalks)! I called and spoke to the manager who merly offered to replace my salad and if I brought my steak back she would finish cooking it! This is completely unacceptable! I asked for a full refund and was told she could only replace the food! In addition, I was forced to pay an 18% tip on a take out order? You did nothing, you didn't even bring it to the car! You deserve nothing! I will never waste my money here again!
The experience alone was not great. No one was monitoring thr curbside pick up area. I placed an order over an hour in advance through their site. Showed up and texted the number provided to let them know i had arrived. 10 minutes later, no person, no response. Went in and it took another 10 minutes to receive my order. If someone was working this area, it was not apparent or communicated whatsoever. Once we got home with our order, one of our salads had croutons and dressing, the other was missing croutons and had a larger container for dressing... Once my husband got around to his baked potato, we realized there was a receipt literally soaked beneath... YOU CAN READ THE RECEIPT THAT WAS TRAPPED UNDER THE POTATO. So unappetizing. This is my first time even visiting a saltgrass, so this is my first and only impression or experience. Not good.
As a Landry’s Select Club member, Please stay away from this Location. Bad Management , waitstaff and Hostess. Seated and never taken care of. Waiter was rude and unprofessional, so we left. Asked to speak to the Manager and he never showed up. Talked to the hostess on the way out and she could have cared less about what happened. Horrible experience. New staff is needed at this Location ASAP!
Food was overcook, no manager came to my table to fix the problem, and once the manager did i show the manager that my guess didn't finish there food because it was overcook it was a birthday dinner. Horrible experience i would never suggest Salt-grass to my friends and family plus i am Landry's member.
Happy Holidays huh? 😂 Merry Christmas huh? 😂😂 The manager her must be out of his league because the time seems to be catching up with him. He was not prepared for the holiday orders online or in person. When it came to my order the Togo and team was slacking and complaining about how busy they are….. management problems not customer problems. It’s cool though. People been digging they own graves and reminding me why cooking at home is always better. Can’t wait to complete my transition process to avoid places like yall. 🙂
