Absolutely love this place. We have been meaning to try it again and finally did - wonderful with our 3 year old and 7 year old, they loved the arcade game so much. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I really liked the buffalo chicken sandwich and tater tots. The restaurant is super cute and so clean. This place is super kid friendly and we will definitely be back!

The food was amazing. The tater tots were probably the best I've ever had. I had the Rancher combo. The chicken had a good flavor and the right amount of crisp for me. The sauce was a little on the sweater side but still great. The tots as I said were amazing and I am not a big tot person. The seasoning on them are great. I would say this place is definitely worth a try!

I tried this place for the first time 4 days ago and have been here 3 times this week. Christian was very helpful when he saw i was having difficulties with the menu. Only thing that would make the place better is if they played sports or chive TV on the tvs, but overall, great place to eat!!

A great place to eat fresh fried chicken with great flavor. The place is clean and the staff really friendly and polite. The ninja turtles videogame is a good add on to the ambience of the place.

When ordering it's on a Kiosks. Swipe card and start ordering you can get reciept via text or email. When finished ordering your name will pop up on the screen with a timer when its expected to be served. They serve margaritas for adult beverages. Their Fries are fresh with sea salt on them. The bathroom are gender neutral and have Dyson Air Dryer. The restaurant is very clean and very Homie feel. Thetes and acrcade game Turtles thats Free to Play. Emma, this one is for you. This place is everything I want my local restaurant to be. For everyone who follows me, you guys know I give a very low star rating, but this one truly owns its five-star 🌟 review. I tried not to eat meat, and giving up a good chicken sandwich was very difficult for me. Not only does this place offer a vegetarian patty that tastes just like meat, but it also opens on Sunday (take that chic fila). The fries are salted, and you can order any sandwich and sub it out with the vegan patty. It's not your typical chicken patty you get from the grocery store. It doesn't taste like cardboarf--promise 😋. They have an option to add a fried cheese--add it. You'll thank me later. Order the chocolate chip cookie. It will melt in your mouth while your pups are enjoying their pup cups. Oh the drinks are good too! One thing I do recommend to the restaurant is having a separate oil pit for the "chickn" patty and fries to attract vegans.

I’m a Birdcall novice and quickly becoming a fan. I usually get take out and Christian is always very helpful making suggestions and guiding me through the kiosk ordering system. He always offers me a cup for water while I wait for my food.

Friendly staff? The friendliest. Chill aesthetic? All the vibes. Quick service? Like lightning. Good food? Absolute fire. The weather was complete trash outside, but I was desperate to try this place. When we arrived, one of the staff (Max) ran and held the door open to us as we dashed from our car through the pouring rain. He set the vibe for our entire visit. The interior was cozy and beautifully decorated (love the Danny DeVito planter). We loved the option to order at the virtual menus or at the bar with the front staff. Oh yeah, there's a bar and boozy milkshakes...ummm, yes! We got our food in record time. My husband literally said his chicken sandwich (the Rancher) "was the best chicken sandwich [he's] ever had". That is really saying something considering this man is a tough critic when it comes to chicken sammies. I had gotten the Deluxe, but with a Meati patty. Wow - I was incredibly impressed with how good that plant-based patty was. The fries were crisp and perfectly salted, the shaved brussels sprouts slaw was amazingly good, and our milkshakes were pure heaven. My only issue was the straws in the milkshake - the larger, thick milkshake straws would have been nice. I'm already looking forward to another trip back so I can try their breakfast. I have no doubt it'll rock my morning.

Pretty good place. Order the deluxe with taters. Tasted fresh and I don’t know what they add to the taters but they are yummy! Definitely will go again and try something different!

Came here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Christian helped us today and made everything simple and easy. He was attentive and had great customer service. The food was great and came out piping hot. No complaints from us, we will definitely be back!

The Real scoop…. Been wanting to try this place and finally took the plunge with NO prior knowledge, research or anything…. Just pulled up with a friend and walked in to this Old Krispy Kreme!!! Let’s see what’s in store!!! Building paint on point design on point and I gotta check the restroom…..wowowow ON point…. Just one thing offer some sort of paper towel…..bc ppl gonna open the door with wet (no super dry hands) and there is no option to open the door with my feet after I cleaned my hands. Ok back to the grub and menu…. Great concept love that you can get sub grilled chicken free of charge….. so we tried it all …. Nashville tenders …. Grilled sandwich and fried sandwich with special tots!!! Every thing perfectly seasoned came out fresh and tasty…. Tenders juicy and good flavor not too hot not too bold perfect!!!! Sandwiches and buns great combos of flavor!! The sodas and Teas are great selection and the had a FREE arcade game for the kids!!!! Oh and my friend had a boozy libation for WIN!!! Very very pleased with the service I received from Christian! I had to call to change the time on my mobile order and he was very pleasant and willing to help. The call lasted maybe two minutes of my time. The food was AMAZING and a huge mood boost! Will definitely be returning, all due to Christian's positive tone and mood.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Birdcall does chicken sandwiches like no one else! The amount of options are amazing. I had the rancher sandwich, and every slider, fries and slaw. The chicken sandwhich was crispy and saucey the onion jam was phenomenal and paired well with the slaw. The slaw is cut long ways and not too wet which I appreciate. The sliders come on a warm bun with crispy pickles, they all vary greatly in flavor profile but not in quality. They have cocktails, and beer on tap so you can have the full meal! I had the regular margarita, which is out of a tap, as someone that is particular on margaritas I was very happy. Service was amazing and very helpful (thank you Mykayla for being so helpful) be sure to try one of their many sauces made in house. I’m not a big ranch person but their ranch was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very clean and fun atmosphere. Definitely check it out!

I love their chicken tenders and tots. They're flavorful and juicy (the chicken). Also the restaurant is always clean with a nice vibe. Refillable sodas are always a win for me. And I like their frose as well!

I was in the neighborhood this evening after seeing a movie @ Alamo Drafthouse. I saw this place, and thought I’d check it out. I’m glad I did. The hostess was especially courteous and kindly told me about the food and how the menu worked. She also suggested that I try the Deluxe, which is one of the most vibrantly flavorful chicken sandwiches that I’ve had in awhile. The place itself was also very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere (seats, brightness, music). All in all, I’m glad I stopped in, and will definitely return in the future. The fresh lemonade is also a plus!

The food was hot, crispy, and came out quickly. Lots of good tunes playing while you enjoy your meal but most importantly the service Christian provided was the icing on the cake. 10/10 will be back!

Upscale, self-service, fast food chicken! The chicken sandwiches were absolutely amazing. The tots were very good. There was a good drink selection. Fries could use more seasoning. They are a little more pricey like Shake Shack or Savvy Sliders but it's way better than those two. We ate dine in and someone brought us our food. He was very nice and told us if we needed anything to come to the front. It was a little weird sliding my card before ordering at the self serve kiosk, but we looked at the provided menu first so we knew what to order. Good job, I'm sure we'll be back!

I have never been into this restaurant and it was my first time. The staff was so kind and helpful. One of the managers, Ishmael, was so friendly to me and everyone who walked in. He made sure my experience was unlike any other. I will be coming here instead of Chic Fil A lol!

Ordered the Rancher with tator tots, Deluxe with fries, and 3pc Nashville Hot Tenders. Ok, I have tried Nashville Hot chicken many times, and I just don't like it. The tenders were not wet, but a dry rub. It tasted like straight cayenne powder with a strange after taste. The Deluxe was good, juicy chicken. The Rancher was good, too. I really liked the bacon onion jam. The only problem is that it's really messy. I got about halfway, many napkins, and it fell apart. The fries were ok, not my favorite. The tator tots were ok, but again, not my favorite. The restaurant has a nice vibe, and it's clean. The staff was very friendly. There's nothing wrong with this place. I just wasn't really impressed. Give it a try. You might like it better than I did.

First time visiting and I'm impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Service was fine but it's a very "modern" (self-order kiosks etc.) sit down fast food place. Small place, probably not good for large groups unless you're getting takeout. I'll come back.

My experience at birdcall is really always great! The staff always welcome me in and make sure I am well taken care of. Christian is one of the staff members at the Richardson location that takes great care of me whenever I come in as well as all the other staff. Incredibly delicious chicken sandwich. I ordered from them multiple times and the food was consistently good each time. I wish they had more locations because this place would easily put out a lot of the other chicken chains. It seemed like they used fresh hand breaded chicken (non frozen) while a lot of the larger chains use frozen Tyson chicken which isn’t very good. Birdcall absolutely lives up to the hype.

Great place for breakfast and dinner. I visit here at least 2 to 3 times a week. The staff, Christian & Jean, are always friendly and helpful making sure your order is placed just like you like it. Their breakfast biscuits are delicious, they make fresh biscuits every morning. For lunch, their sandwiches are very delicious also. You can seat inside to eat or outside in the patio. I must say, this is one of my favorite places to eat, and will continue to visit here often.

‘This slaps’ as the youngsters would say 😅 I don’t normally give fast food reviews, but huge fan of this one. Stopped by because it was the closest thing that looked like it would offer a salad. Took a few minutes at the drive-through, but it was totally worth the wait! I got the seasonal salad that had goat cheese and swapped out for honey ginger vinaigrette. The salad itself was incredibly fresh and the chicken was tender. I’d actually go out of my way to come here again. What a nice surprise!

We loved the vibes, the sandwiches along with all the various sides were all good. Our server Andrew was very attentive and came to check on us several times. First time at this location. I have been to another location a couple years ago. Solid chicken sandwiches but they are a bit more expensive and smaller than the big chicken sandwich chain. Fine for me but I could see large eaters wanting more. Both my sandwich and fries came out hot and fresh. They have a screen showing your name and a count down timer showing approximately when your order will be ready.

A good lunch experience overall. The Rancher is delicious and I enjoyed the Brussel sprouts salad. The soda and tea selections are great, I mixed coconut with cherry cola. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. The only thing holding me back from giving a 5-star review is the price. The chicken sandwich alone was $10, so expect to spend $13-15 a person if you get a side and drink.

Birdcall offers consistently delicious food that easily earns 5 stars. I've been here three times, and the quality never disappoints. However, the service is a bit lacking, hovering around 3 stars. While the food makes it worth the visit, the service could use some improvement to match the food's excellence.

The atmosphere is nice and retro very inviting. They got a TNMT arcade that’s is free to play. The staff was always there every step of the way helping us for the our first time. Shout out to Sabbos and the whole staff you guys was amazing!!

Chicken strips are on the smaller side but they are definitely tasty! Their sauces are decent with an overall rating of 4/5 stars for buffalo, honey mustard, birdcall sauce and ranch. Overall a great place for chicken strips but not “the best” chicken strips.

We’ve been driving by but finally stopped in for lunch today, well the drive thru. The speaker didn’t work very well so we couldn’t really hear, but we were finally able to order. Between us we ordered the southern chicken sandwich, the lux slider, and the sriracha slider. The southern was delicious! The chicken was moist, the flavors melded nicely, and overall just a tasty juicy chicken sandwich. The sliders were ok, I didn’t realize they were made with fried chicken tenders as opposed to chicken patties, so there wasn’t a consistent amount of chicken in each bite as the tenders were thicker on one end than the other. The bacon was u def cooked on the lux and they both lacked sauce. The southern was so good though, I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as tasty! We’ll definitely be back, for full sized sandwiches!

Service: Service here was really good, which is why I’m rating 4 stars and not 3. There was one employee working and he got a really big order before mine and gave me a complimentary marshmallow bar for the wait which I really appreciated. Food: I ordered the nuggets and wouldn’t order again. They were not very good. I really like the tater tots though and the tractor organic cherry soda! Bird call sauce is really good as well. Maybe I’ll try the chicken tenders next time.

The rancher was recommended by an employee but I rate it a 3 for taste. The chicken was hot and fresh as was the tater tots.. It was a bit pricey at $15 for a meal. I may go back sometime and try something different.

Ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and an iced coffee. The sandwich was eh, not the worst but not something I wouldn’t go out of my way for if McDonalds was next door (which it is.) The ice coffee aspect threw me for a loop. They asked if I wanted syrup/creamer and I asked for caramel and 2 creamers. The drive thru employee handed me my coffee - followed by a handful of individual creamers. She then said “taste it and let me know what you think, I personally think it’s pretty bitter.” I assume she expected me to open my straw and drink, then open each creamer to pour in one by one, then taste it, and let her know my thoughts - with a full line of cars behind me. No lol. If the creamers were already in my drink (which blows my mind that they’re handing people individual creamers when they’re in their car getting coffee TO GO) I might’ve given her a response. Birdcall - if you’re offering full service breakfast 7 days a week maybe invest in a creamer dispenser thing, or at the minimum have employees pour them in for us. I had to park, finish making my coffee, and then hit the road. And yes it was incredibly bitter, but I still drank it!

My first time trying this place. The atmosphere was the best. The furniture, lighting, decor and ambiance are unique, cozy, family-friendly with the options of the large group seatings and free arcade games. The service was good enough. I ordered from screen and all orders would have the waiting time written and the shelf location where you pick it up. Although everything could have been a complete self-service experience, but the staff still helped us and that was nice. The food. I ordered tater tots, milkshake, chicken stripes, chicken sandwich, coconut soda and a fruit cup. Total price was more than $30. The tater tots were the highlight. It has some barbeque flavor, and I don't even a big fan of barbeque flavor, but I enjoyed it a lot because of the lightness, crunchiness and not so greasy! I like that they have the options out of generic soda. Chicken stripes and chicken sandwich were disappointing. I mean, they were okay but I expected so much more flavor and yumminess that worth their price tag! I was going to give 4 star until I saw my fruit cup. Half of the grapes were brownish, squishy, slimy I couldn't eat them! I was shocked that such a clean, organized place with a little bit pricey chicken didn't care about quality control. I ordered fruit cups many times from similar chicken restaurant that was cheaper, but I never had this experience, the fruits are always fresh.

First time here and the pricing is a bit deceiving (receipt posted to make your own opinions) all “meals” were ordered as combos with a side and a drink. The tenders were a little tough, the sandwiches and fries were really good though. If your expecting regular bbq sauce nope it’s homemade but good so not a complaint there. Why 3 stars… the service when we got to the window she took the card as payment and another women came essentially threw the bag of food at us said bye and shut the window and walked off. We sat there and said umm we didn’t get our card back so another woman came and gave us our card back and we didn’t have the drinks, well when the women came back with drinks she pushed them through the window so forcefully that it spilt in the car, and on the drivers side door of the car they finally gave us our card and receipt and we just pulled over to clean the mess out of the car and off the side of the car.

Fairly new order at a kiosk chicken sandwich restaurant. Kiosk ordering was convoluted and overly complex. Prices are somewhat reasonable. Chicken sandwiches were pretty good. French fries were very good. Overall decent but not great.

Well it's an interesting experience. Very over priced. Zero customer service interaction . You have to swipe your card first then your allowed to order from the kiosk. That is the only method, no way to ask questions. Then you see your order is ready in a certain cubby you go get it . Completely self serve. Food was good tots were fire to be sure. But because of zero customer service and expensive pricing it's a one and done I'm afraid.

Came here bc of the high reviews. Left disappointed. We ordered two different chicken sandwiches, fries, coleslaw and tenders. The sandwiches were fairly bland, even with toppings. The tenders were tough and chewy. Fries were good as was the ranch. I was shocked when our meal total came to over $50. The portions were not large by any means. Only reason I rated it higher wa bc of the nice environment and friendly staff.

I was a huge fan of Birdcall when it first opened. The efficiency and exceptional customer service were truly remarkable. However, the service has significantly deteriorated since then. It’s frustrating to see that the staff has been forgetting items we’ve paid for, particularly sauces. Additionally, the wait time for our orders has become excessively long, making it an unsuitable place for a quick grab-and-go meal, especially if we’re in a hurry. It’s a shame that the phenomenal service they once provided has been lost.

When I walked into the restaurant, I was overwhelmed with the smell of what smells like old frying oil. And the chicken tastes like it. Not good. Fries also not good, but tater tots ok. Cute atmosphere. I only stayed bc my husband wanted to try it. No customer service.

Way overpriced for what you get. 0.60 for a ranch that is gone after two bites. Nashville Chicken was not hot. And there were hard crunchy bits in it. I don't know what that's about. And they can't even be bothered to take your order. Pretty much have to put it in yourself. Zero customer appreciation. I will not be coming back.

I’m a Birdcall fan, but this location was awful. This photo shows a panel off of the wall, and it is chilling on the bench seat at 2 PM on a Saturday. Every table was dirty. The condiment area was a disaster. The sandwich we ordered was missing ingredients. I miss the days of excellent food, atmosphere, and service.

My first and last time. I'm glad that I ordered the kids meal chicken strips because if I would have spent more than $5 on this mess I would be going back. So it took about 5 mins for me to get my order just to get burnt chicken strips. I asked for well done fries not burnt chicken strips. They had no flavor and I don't know if that's because because all I could taste was burnt batter. Although I can appreciate chicken strips not being dry these taste like they were fried frozen so the chicken was really wet to the point the burnt batter was falling off. My experience in cooking tells me they fried them frozen so they cooked super fast on the outside which locked in all the moisture on the inside leaving the chicken dang near to wet. However the lemonade and fries were good.

I have been a long time resident of Richardson and really try to support small local businesses. The last few visits to Birdcall, I ordered a biscuit with butter. At least 4 out of 5 of these visits the biscuit has been ice cold and hard. This morning, before I paid and drove away, I checked the biscuit to see if it was edible. Once again, NO!!!! I gave the biscuit back to the girl at the drive thru and drove away. I don't understand why it is so difficult to provide a customer with warm edible food!

This food is mid at best. The employees are nice but that’s about it. The chicken sandwiches are mostly all bread with a small piece of chicken and little flavor, definitely not “crispy”. The strawberry lemonade is absolutely horrible, very sour and has an expired fruit taste that makes it worse. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches meals for about $40. Not worth it at all.
