The barbecue is absolutely delicious! The only thing I don't like is how Fast my food cools down from the chopping block to the table. By the time I get to the table, my food is like nuke warm. Great music selection they have playing. Very clean place. Expensive but what good bbq place isn't. They're pickles their homemade, so they have a different taste.
Barbecue is ok, but the beans, and Mac and cheese are spot on. Great atmosphere and wonderful place to bring your family
Ten50 BBQ is so good. I’m not the biggest fan of smoked meat or generally drench it sauce… not Ten50. The flavor was fantastic. My eyes were a little bigger than my stomach and I got way too much but I tried it all. The turkey on a potato.. perfect The fried okra… extra perfect The salad… basic, you can skip it. The chocolate pie… delicious
Been meaning to try Ten50 for a while. Sure glad I did. Some of the most tender and juicy brisket ever! Had one rib, could have had 4 more! The beans were delicious. The vinegar based Cole slaw won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I loved it! Banana Pudding was very good, can’t give it a 10 or my wife should shoot me. Her mom’s BP is the best in the world. She could open a franchise just selling her BP. Will be back to try the other meats. And for all who say it’s too expensive, then y’all don’t know great BBQ. Hutchins is also great but just as expensive. In fact their brisket is $4.00/lb higher. You get what you pay for.
Loved the atmosphere and a really cool choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I loved the sliced brisket and ribs 😋. My baked potato was nice and soft all the way through. My only complaint, cilantro for my husband and I, tastes like soap. We were disappointed at the first bite we took of the coleslaw.
This was a great place for BBQ. You smell that good smoke as soon as you open the car door. The meat is served outside next to the smokers. Then you Halladay inside for sides, etc. Really good food and friendly people. The meat guys outside really know their stuff. We had a great meal. The brisket was a good as it looked, and it looks amazing.
Whenever I visit Texas, I make it a point to indulge in tacos (they have the best ones, even better than California! 😁) and BBQ. Texas undoubtedly excels in smoked meats. During my recent trip, I visited Ten50 BBQ in Richardson, TX. I arrived just as lunchtime began, so it wasn't crowded initially, but it soon became bustling. Entering the restaurant, you walk through the smokehouse. Here, the butcher asks for your order, weighs everything, and places it on a tray. You then proceed inside to choose your sides and pay. The customer service throughout was excellent – friendly, helpful, and they offered great suggestions. I enjoy a variety of proteins, so I chose a slice of brisket, a rib, half a jalapeño sausage, and one of their jalapeño poppers, along with a side of beans. I started with the rib, which was as delicious as it looked – tender, moist, and smoky, with a fantastic rub. The brisket was next and it was perfectly smoked with that classic Texas texture. Although I didn't get enough to savor the bark, the rub's flavor was delightful. The jalapeño popper was outstanding, cooked to perfection with soft and fully cooked bacon. The sausage was equally impressive. However, the beans were the highlight! Their flavor was intensely good, though I didn't have the chance to ask what was in them. The dining room staff was also very helpful. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the restrooms were clean. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and experiencing it yourself!
Wow! I am in town visiting family and my cousin brought me here. I was highly impressed. Staff was super friendly and food was amazing! I was a bit confused on how to order the food but they walked us through everything with no issues. Lots of food for the price and lots of leftovers! Now this is good Texas BBQ!
Found this place on a quick trip to Dallas traveling from Shreveport. The reviews alone made it worth it to stop. Absolutely so glad we did! The meat is awesome, we tried brisket, chicken, ribs, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. They were all amazing, well cooked, seasoned and tender. The sides we tried were mac & cheese, beans, okra, onion rings, and slaw they were all delicious. The concept was meat outside on a tray then walk a line to get sides. The staff was very helpful and it was very clean. Bonus note to mention, we didn't smell like smoke when we left!
I really enjoyed this place. Being a Bay Area (Cali Girl) I know good food. I wanted some great BBQ and since we were in the area my guy suggested this place, so we decided why not. I especially loved the sides. The place didn't disappoint. Despite it being pricey you get a LOT OF FOOD. My guy loves to eat and eats a lot he almost needed to be carried out and we had leftovers. 😀 Sorry we had eaten a lot of the food before I decided to take the photos. 😉

The Barbeque is pretty good. Tried the brisket, ribs, turkey, sausage, and torpedos . All good and the Carolina and house barbecue sauce is really good. The coleslaw is the non mayo type so we really liked it. The beans are unique with a lot of meat. If I had any complaint it would be the price. For four of us it was $160. I know barbecue has gone up all over but it still seemed high. The sides is what really add to the cost since there really no inclusive plates.
Stopped in for a quick bite. The fatty brisket was really good. I liked that they cut it thinner than most BBQ joints. The baked potatoes were mediocre. The pork was ok, but had two inedible parts in it. The yeast rolls are delightful. Cherry Coke at the fountain drink machine and the 60s music bumping were added bonus points. Also a shout out to Jason who very engaging and told us all about the process.
Great food options, love the key lime pie! Mac n cheese is good too
The smoke flavor is not real strong but the tenderness and juicy was on point. The food temperature was luck warm. We came late, after the lunch hour. I was not thrilled that we had to buy a dinner roll, so I didn’t. The banana pudding was not special at all, bland flavor and my one slice of banana was soggy and lacked flavor. The fried Okra was a hit!! Hot and the seasoning they used were wonderful. I would come again if in the area and wanted BBQ
Ten50 offers a really nice vibe with great outdoor seating and a spacious patio, perfect for families as it's quite kid-friendly. Their bar boasts a good selection of liquor, and the walk-in entry definitely gives off a cool "Hard 8" feel. Seating in the bar area is fantastic if you're a party of two. Now, for the food – it was a bit mediocre overall. The house sausage was a definite highlight and quite good, but the 5-cheese mac wasn't great. The beans, which had brisket in them, were just okay. The pickles were definitely house made I tasted more vinaigrette than the dill i was lookong for. The onions really didn't hold much taste either. One small detail: those napkins are staying put! Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and drinks, but the food could use some improvement.
Pros: Very spacious, beautiful restaurant with good quality fresh food. The sides were delicious and the desserts were all made to perfection. Cons: I expected a lot more for the price I paid, and the fact that you have to pay for the buns and no toast is available was a little odd. It's not very texas style.
Decent bbq. Protein is charged by a half pound. Flavorful trinity of traditional barbecue. Their sauce is delicious. The rolls are excellent. The pickles are delicious, mac and cheese is decent. Okra is made to order. Plenty of space for a large party or a date. Outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely worth a try while you're in Richardson area.
This was my first visit to Ten50, coming from California, and it was a unique experience. You walk up and place your order with the friendly staff, who weigh each BBQ item individually. My favorites were the ribs and brisket—both were fantastic. The corn on the cob was a bit bland, and while the bacon green beans were flavorful, they were cooked more than I prefer. The prices here are much lower than what I’m used to in Bay Area BBQ spots. Nice plus. The atmosphere is casual, with a cool Chevy truck as a centerpiece. There’s plenty of seating and ample parking during midday on a Tuesday. Dallas has no shortage of BBQ options, but we chose this one for its convenience to our hotel, and it didn’t disappoint!

Food was ok. Surprised there was no bacon for the potatoes and the meat was just beef. It's barbecue in Texas so not a lot to live up to. We were in the party room where they catered and service was ok. Nothing special, just like a cafeteria, in and out. Once you had your food they all left. Atmosphere was great. Loved the outside seating.
Hate to be that person, but when it comes to Texas BBQ, this is not what I’d recommend. If you search best BBQ in Dallas, there’s a reason this place doesn’t come up. It’s a cool place, trendy vibe, and presents well. However, the flavors are bland and it feels like someone with a lot of money that likes BBQ had a great idea for a tax shelter. Even the web site has this commercialized vibe with no real back story. With that said, this is how I’ll break it down. Brisket - 6/10 not bad, but not the best. Pork - 3/10 gamey flavor, dry, and felt old. Tornado - 6/10 wasn’t too bad, but bacon was a little soft. Brisket Beans - 2/10 no comment! Mac & Cheese - 8/10 star of the meal. Cole Slaw - 4/10 it’s a fancy attempt at a dry vinegar slaw. House Sauce - wasn’t good. Don’t try it. Carolina Sauce - hate to break it to you, but that’s a Kansas City style sauce. Not even close to Carolina. Homemade Dill Pickles - OK, but just stick with dill slices out of a jug. Yeast Roll - this screams you aren’t a real BBQ place. It was tasty, but a yeast roll? If you’re looking for a Longhorn Style BBQ, this is your place. If you want the real deal, go somewhere else.
The food is good but they've lost their minds on prices $35 per one meat and two sides and a drink

It was ok but lacks the smoky juicy flavor. By displaying the meat on an open pit it drys the meat out after a while. The coleslaw was good. And the beans were good. Nice clean restaurant and fun…
Fair to middling. Mac and Cheese was really good but meats let this place down. Atmosphere was nice and clean staff was friendly.

Presentation was definitely on point, looked really nice! The BBQ itself was delicious, top-notch even. However, all the sides were seriously lacking in flavor and seasoning, which was a bummer. For the price we paid, it just wasn't worth it in the end. Honestly, I was expecting more for $170.

DECEPTIVE PRICING - READ THE FINE PRINT! In an attempt to hide their exorbitantly high prices, this place charges by the half pound. I ended up paying $36 a lb, or $25 for a couple slices of brisket. Nobody likes to be deceived and you trick people this way every day. Shame on you! Looking for some great BBQ that won’t break the bank? Try HEB in West Plano. The brisket is just as good and it’s 30% less expensive.
Im hoping eating in it house would be a better experience. I received a delievery in a timely fashion but the brisket was the dryest ive ever had in my life. Expectation was def higher for a first timer here. Thanks for the overpriced beef jerky. Get your food service operation in order.
This was one of the most overpriced, overrated and worst bbq I have ever had in Texas! This place is for high class people who don't know bbq. The brisket was DRY, sausage had no flavor just spice, beans were ok, potato salad was ok, corn was trash and rolls ok. We definitely will not be wasting our money on this nonsense. This what happens when you hire cheap labor to do the cooking. Go to Terry black or something
