Kids eat for $1.99 on Sundays. The chicken tenders are good the Fry's are good. The hot wings are good. Also the chicken and waffles are delicious and the combo is 5.99 on Wednesday. My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.

I'll sacrifice my good luck for a great waffle... I get the chicken and waffles, great chicken strips and it's the best waffle! I put it up against any breakfast diner or any high-end brunch spot, I've had them all and this is my favorite waffle. Except they're backwards every time, backwards Texas is unlucky! It's like spelling it wrong. Been here 40 times ready to tip $10 for my first correct Texas waffle, never once LOL!

I was impressed with the service as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and it was cozy, comfortable, and most of all in experience that I haven’t experienced before in a chicken established Wingstop Raising Cane’s side I ordered the Cajun ranch chicken sandwich, mac & cheese it was incredible. The mac & cheese was very creamy and decorative. The chicken sandwich was crispy not over season Not under season, but just right. The spiciness of the Cajun cayenne seasoning wasn’t over powering to the pallet..

This was my first time here. The food was made fresh & it came quickly. The Cashier was very welcoming and had a good attitude. I will definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable as well. I had the Chick’s Meal which consisted of 3 chicken tenders, fries, a dipping sauce, & Texas toast.

Live Life

Cool little restaurant with lots of parking. Staff were really friendly and attentive with great recommendations. Food was good but I would have enjoyed it more if my chicken was cooked fresh and made to order.

First time here and the overall experience was great! Was hoping for a plug to charge my phone and I got that! Was able to easily order food and take a seat… the table was wobble and the seat needed replacement but that didn’t stop any of us from going in on our food selection. See pictures. Mix half of sprite with their Hi-C on ice for your drink. Thank me later! Yes, this location has clean bathrooms. This location had the TVs going.. it was awesome.

I've visited this location (9100 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75231) a couple of times and have only had the tenders because one of the dipping sauces is gravy. The tenders, fries and toast were good, but the gravy is practically water. Even after the gravy cools, it remains like water. It doesn't thicken as gravy should be. I would advise anyone that likes gravy to choose a different dipping sauce to make the rest of your less than mediocre.

I've eaten at slim chickens multiple times and really like their wings. Today's visit wasnt great though. While the wings were good, the fries were unfortunately cold. I'll probably be back though since this usually hasn't been my experience in the past.

I love slim chickens food the only thing I absolutely hate is they fill your whole drink with ice. I get delivery and my drink comes with sooo much ice. My 32 oz lemonade had 8 to 10 oz of lemonade in it. Im sure they fill the cup to the very top then add a little drink after. I know its petty but this is always my reason to stop ordering from them. Add a no ice and a lite ice option for online ordering and problem solved.

Update 9/24: this place sadly went down. The place was dirty, food was not good quality, you can tell that the fryer oils are old and need to be cleaned. The service was slow and the lobby needs upkeep. Delicious! The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!! Mac and cheese was super cheesy, chicken was crispy, fries were bomb and the bread was the best we’ve had at any chicken strip place. Great service and the people were friendly, and doing a great job! A must try for everyone in Dallas

Underwhelming. I know it says "cooked to order" but NOPE. I got an order to go. I live 1.2 miles away. Food was not hot. Chicken and fries were definitely not cooked to order. The chicken strips were pounded or butterflied to make them appear larger. It just made them dry when fried. The ends were like chicken jerky. Their signature Slims sauce tasted like mayo, ketchup and pepper. Nothing to make you want to come back for more. The fried chicken market is a very competitive space. There was nothing that made Slims stand out from the rest. Sorry Slims but it's a NOPE for me.

Again! They gave me such a small portion of okra, when confronted she said they weigh it when it’s frozen, I simply pointed out when they fried the okra the moisture is being taken out, ofc not completely but enough to were the weight is different.she goes on to say it is supposed to be 5 oz, I told her to re weigh the okra, she said ohh yeah, it was 4 oz, what do u want me to do? She kept asking me what do you want me to do about it? Honestly I don’t even care about the okra. She was so rude and made me feel like I didn’t matter as a customer. I just want her fired or to have some repercussions this is not acceptable! I also have a video of her being rude to me which I’m considering sharing publicly. That’s how crazy this situation was. It wasn’t even about the okra, it was the way she treated me. There is no way, no way I’m just going to let her do that to me.

Me and my children just left this location. There were about 5 employees in the kitchen laughing and peeping through the windows pointing at someone to come serve us. No one was in the place and this was the most unpleasant visit I’ve had here and will not be back someone was even on the phone laughing and seeing us in the front and did offer to ask us what we wanted to order! smh

This place is terrible and stingy. I ordered food from Uber Eats and when I got it, they only gave me two sauces, even though I had four meals with a sauce for each. How was I supposed to serve the food to my guests? Their chicken was dry, and the sauces were the only thing saving it. But they couldn’t even put the right amount of sauce in my order; they were either blind or couldn’t count. One of the meals that was supposed to come with toast didn’t even come with one, and the other one’s toast was burnt black. It was more black than the color black. I would not recommend this place. The other day, I went to dine in and they let beggars walk around asking us for money. They didn’t even kick them out, which ruined our appetite and the atmosphere. They really need to pick a struggle. I can’t believe they hired terrible staff and a terrible cook. How are you going to cook at a restaurant but burn the food? That’s unacceptable. The other place that sells unseasoned chicken with the same thing as this place is much better, at least the employees don’t burn my food or let beggars ruin our appetite. Every other place would’ve told them to leave. Truly disgusting.
