This is one of the best Mexican restaurants, definitely a top 3 favorite. The food is incredibly tasty. I always get the machaca, and the birria is the best birria I’ve ever tasted. Most birrias are overpowering, but this one is absolutely delicious and on point. Even the chips and salsa are delicious. Also, the food is not greasy, but actually tastes healthy. Sometimes, you leave a Mexican restaurant feeling oily, greasy, bloated, or as if you want to go and pass out, but not at Taconazo. The space is also clean, modern, and welcoming. Last, but not least, the service here is amazing. Norma is super nice and always welcoming. Always a 5-star experience at Taconazo.

BEST MICHELADAS!!!! We had the Camarones Chipotle en Crema and the Bistek a la Diabla.... both were absolutely delicious!! I appreciate how friendly the staff is and how attentive they were! This place is amazing! 1000/10

Chips were okay but the burrito was 🔥 Salsa was hot. Good atmosphere with fancy new plates and wooden accents everywhere. They have decent WiFi and $2 coffee. Super nice bathroom. Great place to post up.

The super burrito (al pastor) was delicious. I have never had such a good burrito before! The restaurant was nice and modern and I loved that they gave us chips still when we did a takeout order!

The meat is perfectly tender and juicy, the tortilla is crispy but soft, and the consome is packed with flavor. The place itself is really chill, there's fast service, and overall good prices. Whether you're just really hungry or want some really good tacos, El Taconazo is worth it. Trust me, you will be satisfied and you’ll end up telling everyone about it.

These tacos are next level. They are juicy, savory, cheesy, and full of flavor. I’ve been to Mexico and tried the street tacos and the ones in El Taconazo taste almost the same. The burrito was very tasty with the Al pastor meat, and worth five stars but we were missing the sour cream and guacamole that was supposed to be on the super so lose a star for that and a long wait for takeout.

When you arrived the server brings a basket with chips served with a mild fresh jalapeño sauce. A great place to get Birria de Chivo served on the weekends only, authentic recipe from Jalisco Mexico, you can have it served with arroz y frijoles or served with caldo, I had my with caldo, served with tortillas chopped cilantro, onions with lime on the side, I was happy to have the slow cooked savory goat guisado with just the right amount of spices, clove having the higher profile, the chivo was cut in cubes with enough meat on the bones plated on a bowl with a beautiful purple flower as a garnish. The breakfast burritos are another great item to order, you can order the filling with bacon, chorizo or ham and refried beans.

Been here a few times. Great food, but not the best service. It would be nice if the host/server was kind and patient. We were a big group, but even so, they were not warm nor welcoming.

Do not buy the food from here, the worse place I’ve tried. Hot sauce on burritos, flowers on top it’s Mexican food not Hawaiian food. People can’t read or understand English, barely know proper Spanish. I speak both languages lol. Taste of my soup was watery, no flavor. Honest review!

The food here tastes authentic and it's a cozy spot with a great aesthetic. Customer service, however, is unfortunately greatly lacking. We unfortunately had an item missing from out order. Instead of any sort of genuine customer service, they proceeded to instead tell us we we never ordered the item. Because this location is cash only and doesn't use receipts, we had no choice but accept being gaslit. I don't recommend this spot and I think there are plenty of other authentic locations around the city. Be wary if you decide to eat here. Given many other reviews of this place, it seems that overcharging/gaslighting is a common theme at this location.

I came in today expecting to have a pleasant experience, upon arrival I picked up the order I made by phone and paid $20 for a no tax cash only burrito that was listed at $9.95, as I received the change, I left and started to count my change as I walked to my car, I realized they had only given my $2.50, I walked back and mentioned that I did not get right change and they proceeded to give me the wrong change again. I decided I’d forget the rest of my change and leave a stolen tip and continue to attempt to enjoy my burrito, unfortunately my burrito was less than subpar, they gave me one container of salsa so I couldn’t even burn my tastebuds off to disguise the flavorless lack of ingredients. They added a teaspoon of guacamole and there was much more beans and rice than meat, each bite did not provide meat, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack but beside that the restaurant is very pretty and they made the food quick, no wonder it was quick though.
