A daily menu is offered with a variety of choices - also "revisable" and agreeable, depending on any personal needs - at a more than acceptable price (10 €); if the tables set with tablecloths and cloth napkins are occupied, the cover charge is also paid, otherwise not, if the more simply set ones at the back are occupied. I always enjoy going to Alessandro's for a good pizza. Fair prices, fast and orderly service. Very good pizzas. The fish dishes are always top-notch, the fries are always cooked to perfection in fresh frying oil (you can tell by the golden color), as is the fritto misto, the fried calamari, etc. Try the fried calamari pizza, the Napoli pizza, the Zola and speck...the list is very extensive. The spaghetti with clams is always well cooked. The meat and vegetable main courses are also well cooked. Inside, the place can be a bit noisy when crowded. The large windows offer a beautiful view of Campo dei Fiori and Sacromonte. The place is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and very responsive. In nice weather, you can eat on the outdoor terrace. The Menabrea draft beers are well-tasted and always cold. The restaurant also offers a fixed-price lunch menu. Well done Alessandro, dad will be happy with you...he's been back again recently, always satisfied. Spent on 2 x cover charge 2 medium beers 2 bottles of water 2 chips 2 very good pizzas and 2 coffees 38.00 euros.

I've been to this restaurant several times. Good parking, delicious, plentiful dishes, and fresh fish, all with excellent service. For those who love fine pizza, this one is also excellent. What can I say if you're passing through Varese in the Daverio area?

Excellent seafood restaurant. You can choose between two set menus, order à la carte, or order pizza. It's also good for non-fish eaters. Service is quite fast, even when it's crowded. The waiters are attentive and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as it gets very popular.

I've been going to this restaurant for years and it's always a surefire hit. If you want to eat excellent quality fish and feel right at home, then Lo Scoglio is the place to go! Recommended for business dinners, birthdays, and baptisms... Maria and Michele, along with their incredibly kind staff, always amaze you with delicious, sometimes personalized dishes that make you feel right at home!

Ci siamo trovati in questo ristorante, abbiamo ordinato due primi piatti cavatelli maxi ai frutti di mare, veramente deliziosi, personale gentile e disponibile molto professionale, ritorneremo di sic…

Sono andato in pausa pranzo, menù fisso. Cibo buono, servizio rapido, prezzo giusto, da ritornarci.

Si mangia bene, soprattutto pesce. Prezzi modesti, ambiente modesto. Ottime anche le pizze. Anche asporto, sia per le pizze che per i piatti del ristorante. Lo consiglio.

Ristorante piacevole con una bella panoramica e ampio parcheggio. I camerieri sono davvero gentili e la pizza è buona. Mi dispiace solo di non aver potuto cenare in terrazza, anche se lo abbiamo richiesto e siamo andati li apposta per questo, la risposta del cameriere alla nostra richiesta è stata: "non abbiamo avuto altre prenotazioni e non abbiamo pulito i tavoli..." NO. E poi in realtà era sufficiente passare una spugna sul tavolo e mettere una tovaglia...per questo do 4 stelle.

The food was amazing for the price. If you sit outside, you will have a nice view but also inside is nice to dine in. The only problem that I had tonight was that they took a long time starting us up with drinks and menus but the food came fast.

(personal opinion) Excellent restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance because we were in the area shopping. We decided on the fish menu because there's a nice sign at the entrance that says "fish specialties." But that's not all they specialize in; they also offer courtesy and polite service, with excellent attention to detail. Next time, we'll try the pizza; watching them go by, they looked truly delicious! I definitely recommend this place. The restaurant is nothing special. We went on a Sunday evening; in our case, we ordered à la carte dishes, all of which arrived in small, if not meager, portions! The taste and flavor were adequate. I'd say the price was above average for what we ate. A seafood appetizer to share, a fish main course with side dishes to share, house wine by the glass, dessert, and coffee (which not everyone paid) came to €35 per person. The fixed-price menu at €36 would probably have been better. Be careful in the parking lot in the winter, as it's not cleaned well, and the ice is a risk of slipping. I won't be returning.

Not recommended, I was there on August 15th, à la carte menu, orders taken after an hour of being seated and I can't tell you how long it took to get a glass of water which was really needed with the heat, poor food... I will never go back there again!
