A good, no-nonsense location with excellent pizza and pasta, as well as fantastic regional produce. We can confidently say it's worth a visit and will definitely be back to try the meat dishes.

The location is quaint, a typical Varese clubhouse, with ample indoor and outdoor space. The staff is extremely friendly and strives to accommodate their guests' needs, and the chef is truly talented. I've tried both the food and the pizza, and I have to say they're both excellent, but the pizza is truly sublime!

Ok per pausa pranzo. Ambiente rustico e familiare. Non ci sono molti coperti e si riempiono tutti (per lo più avventori del posto a conferma di un buon rapporto prezzo qualità). I tavoli sono abbastanza vicini fra loro e può capitare che vengano condivisi. Viene letto un menù di 3 primi e 3 secondi. Piatti semplici ma di buona qualità. In particolare ho apprezzato il trancio di spada ben cucinato e saporito. Prezzo molto onesto attorno ai 10€.

Dopo una visita a Villa della Porta Bozzolo (stupenda) dovendo mangiare abbiamo trovato questo posticino caratteristico che ci ha ospitato nonostante fossimo quasi fuori orario con la cucina. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di affettati misti con speck d anatra .. buonissimo, poi il brasato al Barbera con polenta o patate.. che dire, un brasato morbidissimo e gustosissimo, top! E poi pane fatto fa loro...buono buono, tutto annaffiato con un barbera della casa 😉 niente dolce e infine un buon caffè con grappa finale. Ah è possibile prendere il caffè fatto con la moka e cremina sbattuta al momento, mi ha ricordato quando la faceva mia mamma quando avevamo ospiti. Insomma ve lo consiglio!

Ero stato a mangiare nell'altra località prima del trasferimento a Buguggiate. Filosofia uguale, menù ridotto e io apprezzo con un occhio al territorio. Questa volta insieme ad amici abbiamo mangiato la pizza che era buona e con ingredienti di qualità. I prezzi variano tantissimo a seconda della pizza scelta. L'ambiente é nella media, forse si potrebbe fare qualcosa di più.

Prezzi non da circolo familiare, ma la qualità della cucina e la scelta ed offerta dei piatti è buona. Tutto un po' caro, vino della casa compreso.

I must say it was a pleasant discovery. We stumbled upon it by chance, for an impromptu and unpretentious dinner. I was immediately struck by the wood-fired oven that greets you as soon as you enter and by the bar counter, made of wood and marble, as it once was. The room is minimal and welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. The menu is divided into two: a pizza-only menu and a menu with appetizers, first courses, and second courses. I had the opportunity to try both their pizza, an appetizer, and a second course, and I must say I was completely satisfied. The pizza, while lacking the typical sourdough aroma, had a good dough and was light and melting, and the ingredients were truly excellent, especially the capers. The mixed house antipasto was also good, with cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by warm bread. But the highlight, in my opinion, was the pork shank, served with baked potatoes, a triangle of polenta, and beans. It was a truly satisfying and filling dish; The only downside was the rind, which was a bit soft. Personally, I would have preferred it a little crispier, but then again, it's just personal preference. Overall, I'd say we were very, very satisfied, and I'd say it was a fair value for money!

Sunday lunch for two with a reservation. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. The wait was too long, more than two hours for an appetizer and fried lake fish. The prices were a bit high for an outdoor location under a tent and with a paper tablecloth.

The pizza is really good, even better. The location is very casual, with prices that are justified by the quality but not in keeping with the environment. I wholeheartedly recommend redoing the bathrooms as soon as you can! It's very important in my opinion. In any case, the pizza is worth the price.

The place was full. We asked the waitress if there were tables available. In a hurry, she said “you have to wait a lot, a lot”. We asked how long; she repeated “a lot”. Not a smile, not “I’m sorry”. We left and enjoyed a good dinner in another restaurant close-by
