I visited Delta of Venus while in Davis for a brief work trip and fell in love! It’s a perfect college town coffee shop, complete with shelves of books to borrow or purchase. They made me an impeccable oat milk cappuccino and just look at this yogurt bowl! Their house-made granola is to die for and their selection and preparation of fresh fruits was so thoughtful and wonderful. Based on other reviews, it seems they’ve dramatically reduced their menu in recent months, but I hope they will expand it again in the future. If their yogurt bowl is any indication, I’m sure their other food would be equally amazing!

Honestly one of the best gems I’ve found lately. I just stumbled upon this and wow. They offer sandwiches, coffees, other small cafe items all at a low price point. Their coffees are 3-6$. And sandwiches are all under 10$. Our server was very polite and friendly. He immediately made us our coffees and hand delivered our meals to us once they were made. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is a charming little place to have a brunch date.

I have a real soft spot for restaurants that you can tell were converted from homes. It lends such a cozy quality to the space. I picked out a book from the community library and enjoyed a lemonade until I got my omelet. The service was friendly and the food was well-priced and portioned. Thanks!

Delta of Venus is a true gem of Davis culture. You get yummy food, you get art, you get music, cozy drinks, and best of all, amazing service. Lee, the owner, is an incredibly genuine and generous human, and will make you feel right at home here. Delta of Venus is a MUST if you are in Davis (: P.S. the baked goods in the basket on the cashier counter are always so tasty!!!

It is so full of whit and charm. I never noticed their free library, as well as the books for sale on the wall. They have delicious tea and the avocado toast was simple yet satisfying. The patio is so inviting and there is plenty of space to sit and work indoors as well. They always have local art on display. Please support your local businesses - I would love to see Delta bring their full menu back - I loved the bean stew special they had for awhile.
