I tried their banh mi, and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the filling was packed with flavor. The balance of textures and flavors was spot on. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming.

As a Vietnamese who have tried 20+ viet restaurants, I love the food here. Perfect spicy beed noodle, flavorful with subtle touch of spiciness. The tender beef with vermicelli is amazing. Bbq pork is a bit on the dry side. Love that I can communicate in my mother tongue language to the chef. Keep up the great work!

the restaurant was pretty empty - we came around 2pm on a Tuesday, for reference. that meant we got a table immediately and the food didn't take too long to be ready. I ordered the #18 bún bò huế and the thai tea :) the food had a nice amount of spice and was a good size for the price (the same as a large for some of the other dishes). the tea was more on the milky side, which isn't bad, just a matter of preference. I would definitely have the noodles again but I might try a new drink next time.

The egg roll spring rolls were not what I was expecting but they are delicious. Noodles wrapped in lettuce with a strip of fried pork, all wrapped in a soft spring roll wrappers. That in itself is a nice light lunch.

A top tier restaurant with a top tier name. Pho had superb soup flavor and great meat, all around very well made stuff, and their coffee was excellent as well. The staff were very helpful and attentive!

Literally love it here I come a few times a month! service is always great and the food is well priced, good portions and tastes amazing! Definitely the pho spot for students and everyone!

I love the bahn mi, super good and comes out super quick. the tofu bahn mi with extra pork, patte, and vegetables is my favorite. love stopping by after the gym

I love eating here sm I always order the bun bo hue, sorry if i got the spelling wrong for it! staff is so friendly and the food is literally never bad i swear they never miss, it’s always tasted jus as delicious as the last time i’ve ordered :) prices aren’t expensive at all especially when u take their portion sizes into consideration! 11/10 will eat again (literally everytime my paycheck hits)

I return to Pho King 4 over and over again to order my soup- Combination Beef Pho Noodle soup. I work in Davis but I don't live in Davis. I crave all the time the same item so when I am real hungry I don't hesitate but to order either for my lunch and/or dinner takeout. Y'all food eaters I totally recommend eating at Pho King 4 anytime! Enjoy and eat hardy...

The name alone 😂 Great service, prepped me hot water with honey and lemon since they didn't have a decaf tea option. Water had black specks in it, girl said pot was old 😳 Pho soup was super good, very large portion, good broth.

My noodles were served quickly within 10 minutes of ordering by friendly staff. The pho had a delightful soup and the amount of meat was generous for the price and portion. The flank was a bit chewy for my tastes, I’d stick with just the brisket or steak next time. I was slightly taken aback by the noodles, as they unfortunately clumped together. Maybe this is just the style of pho in the area, as the noodles were of similar quality to other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. Overall, this is definitely a great local place I will be returning to and trying out more dishes! EDIT: I came back to try the bahn mi ($6.50) and it was delicious, nicely toasted with fresh jalapeños and all the right fixings.

Did not think it was Pho King great. Could tell the spring rolls were premade during the day and the Pho did not taste authentic.

Why is there an extra charge for takeout? As students, we often opt for to-go orders to save on tipping and service costs. The sandwich was ok, but it feels odd to be charged extra just for takeout.

They remade the soup but by this point we were full and lost our appetite. We ordered spring rolls and they were very cold. I know the lettuce needs to be refrigerated and the noodles go into cold water but these were so cold as if they were straight out the fridge. I will never be coming back and if someone asks where to get pho in town. This place will not be it.

I think I got food poisoning today from eating here. The rice plate with beef had so much fatt and barely any meat and I somehow got sick and had to vomit. I also had the mung bean dessert so I’m unsure what is causing it.
