Tea House Asian Bistro

I used to think all sushi tasted the same; you get a california roll here, it tastes the same as the one you get over there. Boy, was I wrong. Because of this place, I am now a "sushi snob." Any where else I go (which is rare), I'm comparing it to the sushi I get here. Other sushi is dry, sticky tasting, not as fresh, etc. This place, hands down, has the best sushi in the area.

Really good food and friendly service too. My favorite is the m80 which is a fried jalapeño covered in huge amounts of crab meat. Jimmy makes some really creative sushi rolls too. Try it!

Jimmy the owner, always makes the most delicious sushi with the freshest ingredients and seafood! So many interesting things on the menu and on their specialty board!

The walnut shrimp is one of my favorite dishes of all time! The shrimp is battered and fried perfectly and the sauce is out of this world, sweet with hints of pineapple and coconut! Absolutely delicious!

One of the best Chinese and hibachi foods in Delmar. Can't beat the lunch bento box deals and the food is all very good. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Food is great, and staff is very polite. Something to remember though is that take out order prices have gone up a little, still worth it though for the food.

It is always outstanding. We love food from here. The service is, well ok. Friendly ish. They just busy. Atmosphere is, ok. It's a little, dark. Parking on both sides. Freshly painted inside. A little quirky. But you won't be disappointed in your meal. Hot tea is authentic. Portions are high. Sushi and regular dishes are very flavorful.

Always fresh high quality food. Very roomy dining room with plenty of parking. The lunch specials are a very good deal as you get a lot of variety, a large portion, and high quality for only $10. I wish they had a more extensive tea menu because I think all they have is Jasmine Green Tea. It is a high quality tea, but would be nice to have some oolongs, etc. Very friendly service. Great for a lunch with coworkers as well.

It does take out and delivery to my knowledge, and is on grubhub. I think that's where most of their business must come from, but the interior is really nice. They have little window booths and larger tables - it's a great place to stop in for a casual lunch or dinner.

Stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. Ordered chicken pad Thai and vegetable yaki upon. Servings were huge and tasty. Worth a visit.

I ordered some take away food. The food was great, will definitely order from here again. So far only draw back is they only deliver within 3mi of their location.

Quality spot with an amazing lunch menu. Ordered dinner a few times and the quality never seemed to be on par with their lunch though. I'm going to stick to their bento boxes.

This is one of our favorite places however as of late the consistency of the quality of the meat and taste has not been the best.

The sushi was good but the service no so much. It wasnt a busy night and my wife's order was wrong and it took awhile for drinks and finally our check.

The 3 stars are for the sushi. We had the fancy lobster roll and it was DELICIOUS. The hibachi was not. The steak and salmon were way over cooked.

Just meh. Salt and pepper squid ..all salt and soggy tempura batter, no pepper. The Sushi... just ok, not the freshest...more rice/seaweed than fish. For the money spent we wanted to be 'wowed'. We weren't. (Over $60 for 2 for a light lunch with no bar bill) Salads were new...but not fresh, if that makes any sense. You could tell they were fresh made, but the produce wasn't fresh, the greens were limp and browned on the edges, floppy/soggy cucumbers. The salad dressing (kind of an Asian take on Russian dressing with lots of grated horseradish) was very good. Staff...super friendly and nice. Restaurant....super clean. Food....meh, the owner could do better when it comes to the quality and freshness of product for that price point. As far as a restaurant rating, it's just OK. Personally I think there are far better establishments for Asian/Sushi in the same zip code.

Coming from new york, the borough, the quality is noticeably worse here when compared to other restaurants serving the same cuisine in the upstate area. ( We outside)

I am 3.8miles from me...and because of the .8 miles they wouldnt deliver...they suck!!!!! I really want sushi....horrible service 😤

As a Grubhub driver, every time I accept an order from here, I wait at least 40 minutes. Even when no one is inside. If you are not going to place a special order here, try other restaurants. because your orders from here always arrive late.

The Hibachi angus beef was nearly all fat. The veggies were soggy and the rice tasteless. The wontons were over cooked. Really? Very disappointed.

Don't understand how I paid 22 dollars for a small piece of salmon, 2 shrimp and 4 small scallops. I ordered steak and shrimp hibachi as well, and that entree was totally fine, but my second hibachi dish looked like they were running out of food or something. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
