I have been going to this Asian restaurant for a few years now. I have to say it's the best Asian in the albany area. The prices are great for the quality of food that you will receive. Every person I have told about this place has loved the food and raves that it is the best Asian cuisine in the area . The staff is also incredibly friendly and it is nice to support a family business .

Tea House has some of the freshest sushi at some of the most reasonable prices in the Capital District. The salmon here is second to none. Not a fan of the raw stuff? No problem. All white meat General Tso's chicken, Sesame Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli - pretty much anything you'd get at a normal Chinese Take Out spot is better here. They deliver too! I grew up in the area eating Great Wall and Gold Coin, even driving from Slingerlands to Glenmont to pick up West Wok because they had the best Chinese food for awhile... but since Tea House has opened, I wouldn't understand why anyone wouldn't go here for takeout. I now live 30 minutes away, but drive in as often as I can just to eat here. Great selection of fresh fish, sushi rolls, and special rolls that break away from the standard boring rolls you find anywhere else.

I used to think all sushi tasted the same; you get a california roll here, it tastes the same as the one you get over there. Boy, was I wrong. Because of this place, I am now a "sushi snob." Any where else I go (which is rare), I'm comparing it to the sushi I get here. Other sushi is dry, sticky tasting, not as fresh, etc. This place, hands down, has the best sushi in the area.

Really good food and friendly service too. My favorite is the m80 which is a fried jalapeño covered in huge amounts of crab meat. Jimmy makes some really creative sushi rolls too. Try it!

Jimmy the owner, always makes the most delicious sushi with the freshest ingredients and seafood! So many interesting things on the menu and on their specialty board!

The walnut shrimp is one of my favorite dishes of all time! The shrimp is battered and fried perfectly and the sauce is out of this world, sweet with hints of pineapple and coconut! Absolutely delicious!

We enjoyed this restaurant enough to return. The food was beautifully presented and generously apportioned. The staff aim to please.

One of the best Chinese and hibachi foods in Delmar. Can't beat the lunch bento box deals and the food is all very good. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

All of the sushi and cooked fish tasted great. It was a lot of very good food for the money. I will definitely be back sometime.

Stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. Ordered chicken pad Thai and vegetable yaki upon. Servings were huge and tasty. Worth a visit.

I ordered some take away food. The food was great, will definitely order from here again. So far only draw back is they only deliver within 3mi of their location.

I love mushrooms but my pint of soup had maybe 6 large mushrooms. I would’ve preferred smaller chunks but that’s just me. I will certainly order again.

Good place for a business networking catchup.

This is one of our favorite places however as of late the consistency of the quality of the meat and taste has not been the best.

The sushi was good but the service no so much. It wasnt a busy night and my wife's order was wrong and it took awhile for drinks and finally our check.

The 3 stars are for the sushi. We had the fancy lobster roll and it was DELICIOUS. The hibachi was not. The steak and salmon were way over cooked.

We weren't. (Over $60 for 2 for a light lunch with no bar bill) Salads were new...but not fresh, if that makes any sense. You could tell they were fresh made, but the produce wasn't fresh, the greens were limp and browned on the edges, floppy/soggy cucumbers. The salad dressing (kind of an Asian take on Russian dressing with lots of grated horseradish) was very good. Staff...super friendly and nice. Restaurant....super clean. Food....meh, the owner could do better when it comes to the quality and freshness of product for that price point. As far as a restaurant rating, it's just OK. Personally I think there are far better establishments for Asian/Sushi in the same zip code.

Coming from new york, the borough, the quality is noticeably worse here when compared to other restaurants serving the same cuisine in the upstate area. ( We outside)

I am 3.8miles from me...and because of the .8 miles they wouldnt deliver...they suck!!!!! I really want sushi....horrible service 😤

As a Grubhub driver, every time I accept an order from here, I wait at least 40 minutes. Even when no one is inside. If you are not going to place a special order here, try other restaurants. because your orders from here always arrive late.

The Hibachi angus beef was nearly all fat. The veggies were soggy and the rice tasteless. The wontons were over cooked. Really? Very disappointed.

Don't understand how I paid 22 dollars for a small piece of salmon, 2 shrimp and 4 small scallops. I ordered steak and shrimp hibachi as well, and that entree was totally fine, but my second hibachi dish looked like they were running out of food or something. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
