My husband and I really enjoyed our first visit here. Everything we had was tasty and worth the reasonable prices. The decor is dark but warm and the lighting makes the floors and walls not so dark. Love the butcher block tables! Service was friendly and timing was good considering it was busy. It looks like they had plenty of staff to accommodate many guests. Spinach dip is warm melty goodness. Husbands steak was cooked perfectly to his order. My chicken and shrimp was very flavorful. Cole slaw is great and not too sweet. And whatever that dark sauce is that was served with both our meals is absolutely amazingly yummy! You are warned 😉 When the menu states "loaded" baked potato, we were expecting a little more than just butter and cheese. Was expecting chives and/or sour cream, as well. That is the only small downside of the whole experience. We'll be back to try the chicken fried steak!

Me and a couple of riends meet here for lunch every few months. The food is always great and the service is always awesome.

They were a little understaffed the day we visited but they did the best they could. Our server let us k ow up front that he had a few extra tables and was running behind. I appreciated the honesty and allowed for it. The food was tasty I had the pecan chicken salad and my wife had the salmon and shrimp. She enjoyed the shrimp but the salmon was undercooked for her taste. She likes hers well done. Our granddaughter enjoyed the chicken tender plate.

I got the chicken pecan salad . It was very tasty . Very big it was perfect for lunch or dinner . My server was the bartender she made me feel very comfortable eating alone. Super sweet lady named Kelly. She was great.

I placed my order online at 8:40pm confirmed my order was to be done at 9:22pm so I drove to the place because I was already out and I arrived there at 9:10pm checked in and as soon as I checked in they were bringing my order! Great customer service! Hostess was very polite and friendly! My food was great only thing that I didn’t like were the green beans for my own reason! Clean place! Cheddar's never disappoints!! We had a great time!! Our server, I think her name was Jane, was simply superb!! Friendly, helpful, engaging but not intrusive... The food has changed somewhat. There are different things on the menu now... but is still the same quality I remember! I had the Coconut Shrimp and chicken tenders with Cole slaw and broccoli cheese casserole.. and it was delicious!! Highly recommend going to Cheddar's !!!

This is a place where you can literally order anything and it will be fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive. I got the steak and chicken combination and my friend got the keywest chicken, both delicious! The croissants are a must try along with the chips and queso. My favorite drink is the strawberry lemonade and they have a spiked lemonade too;)

In town for a work conference and hungry when we were done with the four hour drive. The hostesses were friendly and accommodating. We got seated very quickly. It started to get busy as we ate with everyone else getting into town, but we never felt rushed or forgotten. Anthony was great! Attentive, respectful, and handled me getting a bit out of pocket once (I’m sorry!) with grace and kindness. The food was fresh and good and the restaurant itself had people working hard to keep it clean.

I went to eat here for the family day because my brother is a bus boy here. My brother wasn't here at that moment, but we ate here nonetheless. Our waitress Clair was awesome and took care of us. Went on a Friday night, usually the busiest it gets. We were seated within 5 minutes. The appetizers and drinks came out within 10 after being seated. The waiters were very attentive and friendly and the food came out less than 10 minutes after ordering. Very impressed with the service and low prices here.

This place has several food options, I have never found anything that I didn’t like. Their drinks are great too. It is all reasonably priced. There could be a long wait if you show up right at dinner time. Very friendly staff with a nice atmosphere.

Mark our waiter was fantastic. He took good care of us. The food is absolutely made from scratch, no chemical/preservative taste. This place is much better than a cloth-napkin place (La Cocina) we went to in the Galleria Mall in Dallas! We frequent this Cheddars. Today Grant was our server. He was really busy but such a great waiter. Funny but personable. Food was great as usual. One server came by and checked on us before Grant could break away. Both were great to us. Love this location.

Went for a birthday dinner here. Friendly and prompt service. The onion rings here are fantastic! Side note, they don't sing happy birthday and will allow you to bring a cake but they'll also mention to try some of theirs.

First time ever dining at a Cheddars. Was really hoping to give a 5 star all the way across. It was OK, food was a little dry, cheese bites awesome, drinks awesome, #1 spot for rallying up with drinks before going out, great prices on drinks. Awesome dining menu, I could of picked anything. I been a server before, I get it. Great guy working his butt off. Get more help, never be understaffed.

Food and service were good. The portions were large, we had plenty of leftovers! We ordered food to go as well and our server timed it perfectly to come out as we were finishing up our meal.

T-bone steak special was great for the price, not a fan of the garlic butter topping, but the steak was prepared well, tinder and very good. Great family spot with a great menu, friendly staff and isn't too bad on the wallet. The sweet butter croissant was interesting, felt more like dessert than dinner roll, but I really enjoyed it. Wife liked her shrimp dish as well.

I don’t usually give 5’s, especially to a chain restaurant. However, food is always great! We had the shrimp/rib plate. It came with broccoli & beans & rice. Delicious! Also had the grilled fish on a bed of rice. Sides mashed potatoes & fries. Again delicious. Frozen Margarita- great! Of course the complimentary glazed croissants. Highly recommend!!!!

In Denton, I had lunch at the bar & dinner with eight yesterday. I had forgotten how good their food is. Construction traffic slowed part of our group but staff pleasantly dealt with our eating in shifts. Part of group ordered, then late arrivals ordered. Food was excellent. I had grilled fish earlier and fried fish & shrimp later. Sides are very good, too. Will now be visiting Cheddar's in Tulsa again soon, too. This was a great reminder of their quality.

I always enjoy coming to this Cheddar’s. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly.. One thing I really like is that you don’t have to make a reservation, you can just walk in and they’ll get you a table. The food is fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Every time I come here, I have a good experience.

So this experience made my day. I love cheddars for the homemade scratch kitchen. I get the potpie and it was great as always. Staff if usually ok. But today my waiter went above and it was such a simple thing. I ordered a strawberry lemonade. I had gastric sleeve surgery so eating and drinking alot doesn't happen. After I was done with my meal he brought me a fresh to go cup as I had not drank alot of my lemonade. I didn't ask for this. And it made my entire week. So thank you. Receipt says Tate k. This place in a busy area of Denton somehow does not feel rushed and crowded. They are friendly, portions of food are appropriate sized, not marked a 5 as it is hard to say any simple burger is a 5. That is not to say the meal was not perfect, just a reserved approach in review. The service was 5 because when it feels sincere, the good looks and tastes better. Presentation was swell. We will be back, which is a 5 star I suppose! You are not likely to be disappointed which is why we return.

Outstanding Experience at Cheddar’s! I went to Cheddar’s for the first time tonight, and in all my years living in Texas, I’ve never had such excellent service and food at such a great price. From the moment we walked in, the experience was wonderful — the host at the front greeted us warmly, asked how we were doing, and even checked to make sure the seats she offered were to our liking. We genuinely felt cared for from the very start. The atmosphere was phenomenal — the lighting was easy on the eyes, the space felt classy, and the music was at the perfect volume: noticeable but still great for conversation. The seating was also very comfortable and stylish. Our waiter, Lucas, was absolutely amazing. He was upbeat, attentive, and checked on us at just the right times. His positive energy carried through to every table he served, and you could tell he truly enjoyed his job. It was also a nice touch that the manager stopped by to check in with us — something many higher-priced restaurants don’t even do. As for the food, everything was phenomenal. The burger was thick, juicy, and had that perfect flame-grilled flavor rather than just a pan-seared one. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The ribs were tender, well-coated in barbecue sauce without being smothered, and had a generous amount of meat — unlike many other places that charge more for less. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we were greeted to the last bite of food, everything was exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Lucas again!

I visited the Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Denton, Texas, and had the grilled chicken pecan salad with honey mustard dressing. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were fresh and satisfying. The warm, buttery croissants were just to die for! Excellent food, friendly service, and great value. Highly recommend!

Our server was the best! Name was Jenna if I remember correctly. Very attentive and very friendly, helped us decide what to order, knew the menu from top to bottom including drinks. The butter croissants are fluffy and delicious! I wish they were endless but you can always order more for $2, we got the triple sampler and it fed 4 of us as an appetizer, it is a hefty portion. We all had the baby back ribs, some with shrimp and another one of us had the chicken pot pie. Food portions are great, food came out well cooked and hot, drinks were always refilled, we didn’t have to chase the server for anything.

Generally yummy food, in large portions. I ate here several nights in a row while at a conference, and the food was good. The service was top-notch.

Food was good. Service was average. We never got the appetizer we ordered. On 2 occasions the server said she was getting refills but they never came until we flagged the server over.

We celebrated our granddaughters 16th birthday here. They had all the tables set up before we arrived. Our waiter was prepared for our party of 20 and ready to assist. His name is Grant and he was tentative and friendly. All the food came out in a timely manner. Of all the orders there was only 1 we had to send back. The chicken plate had rubbery chicken that was kinda gross. But the manager came by, solved his issue and promptly brought him a different dish. I had the blackened white fish. It was delicious and there was so much I couldn't even eat half. Husband had monte Cristo and he said it was delicious. We love the crescent rolls with glaze they serve as an appetizer.

We went to Cheddars last night and the rolls were fabulous! The server was nice and did great at accommodating us. Unfortunately, my dinner was not very good. The chicken just had a weird texture. I don't recall ever sending back a meal, in my life, before. But it was not something I could eat. I had my son try it also and he agreed. The server and manager were both nice and took the meal off the tag and even gave us a discount. My daughters food was good, our appetizer was just okay and my son's food was okay. We were not really unhappy, but the chicken really didn't sit well with me and made me lose my appetite for the evening. We will go back and they took good care of us. Thank you for the offer of making it right, we are good, they did what they should have. I do not usually leave reviews, but this popped up right after we left.

Monday around noon 15 minute wait you could sit at the bar immediately for lunch strawberry salad with a creamy strawberry vinaigrette was delicious the money Cristo the breading was a little soft almost a soggy texture, the half club sandwich was good no complaints. Two lunches on the lunch menu we had two salads two half sandwiches and a glass of wine each it cost less than thirty bucks staff was friendly attentive food took about 20 minutes to arrive but it was worth the wait I highly recommend this place

Love Cheddars!! I ordered a new item, the Buttermilk Chicken fried sandwich. It was exceptionally good! Only $8.99, hot and fresh with tasty fries. Will definitely come here again.

This was my first time eating at this Cheddar's location. I have dined at other Cheddar's many times in the past. The inside of the restaurant was nice and inviting. The hostess was nice and got my group seated quickly. We ordered and received our food quickly. The only negative comment I have is the chicken. My wife and I both ordered entrees that had grilled chicken on them. The problem was the chicken was not grilled, it was pan fried or something. It still tasted ok, but not like grilled chicken would. We were a little disappointed about that. We did enjoy everything else and would definitely go back, but would ask about the chicken next time.

First time here, the Food and service was pretty decent. Janet was so nice and helped us pick out a few things off the menu. The rolls are really good. The painkiller was excellent. If you like coconut you would love it. The buffalo chicken wrap was really good with the ranch dressing. The monte Cristo was the best. I definitely recommend getting that. We also got the spinach dip. I will be coming back.

We had two chicken dinner salads, one coke, glass of water and a side order of french fires and the bill came out ~$50 - a little pricey for salads. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, server was attentive.

Food was solid -especially for the price. I liked the seating because it felt intimate so you could hear everyone in your party even when the restauraunt was packed. Staff may need additional training on customer service as they did not check in on tables -so we went without refills during our meal.

Never been disappointed in my food or service. Friendly staff ready to help serve delicious food. Usually busy, but it's worth the wait.

The service was a little slow but she did bring me some more croissants. I really think it was because of the 🎃 holiday but the food was well put together and they had an affordable lunch deal that everyone liked. So we don't want to disrespect this location but it's definitely worth checking out. They do need to take the fish and chips off the menu 😔. This was not English style fish and chips. Food was not great at all. Nothing was seasoned. Chicken fried steak was all breading and a tiny piece of steak. Chicken pot pie crust was great, the filling was bland. House salad needed to be chopped up better, big and long pieces of lettuce. Trio sampler was ok, spinach dip was good, tenders were good, but maybe needed a sauce, queso was not good. We had been waiting about 40 minutes at this point for our food to come out. Our food was delicious as per usual. The Monte Cristo was cooked wonderfully. Nice and fluffy. My sister ordered the lemon pepper chicken which was lacking in flavor. It just tasted like an unseasoned chicken breast to us. My dad enjoyed his blacked salmon which was nice and flaky. The boyfriend said the chicken pot pie was delicious! Overall, food is mostly wonderful but the service needs some improvement.

When we arrived we asked for a socially distanced table but the hostess was very focused on seating us in rotation with the servers chart and it was a struggle to get a table away from the rest. I had a salad in mind but there were only 2 lettuce salads on the menu and they both seemed skimpy (shredded carrot and stuff, but nothing exciting). So I decided on the cornmeal breaded whitefish. My guest got the potato soup. The fish was good. The pieces were decently thick and juicy, fried right. The fries were good, the tartar sauce and slaw was mediocre. The honey butter biscuits were good. Service was Mediocre. Long story short...... the food was decent, the menu and the service was mediocre. Cheddars is a status quo selection. Not great but not bad. The prices are good. The selection is ok.

Typical mediocre food. Staff was great. Ordered the ribs they were dry, but the sauce was good. If you go here order something fried. That seems to be the best turnout.

The food was ok. The pasta was completely overcooked though. The croissants they give you at the beginning of the meal are delicious!! The booths and tables are small, but pretty private. The server was very friendly!

I recently went to Chedders after not being to one in years. It seems the food quality and atmosphere have drastically changed. And not for the better. The food tasted very generic but the salads are always great. I remember a much more inviting atmosphere before, and I don't know if it is just this location or all newer built Chedders, but there was no welcoming feeling like I used to get that would keep bringing me back.

We went at ten at night so my hopes weren't too high... Now our server was GREAT, the food was 👎🏽 I had maybe a child's palm sized amount of chicken to mix in with my nachos. I was NOT happy.

We visited Cheddar’s with family and friends and were very disappointed with our experience. While seated in a booth, a cockroach was crawling on my son's back. We immediately asked to be moved to another table. When our food arrived, some of it was cold, which added to the frustration. The manager did apologize and comped our appetizers and gave us a free dessert, which we appreciated, but the overall experience left a bad impression. Hoping this was a one-off, but it’s not something we’ll soon forget.

It has been some time since my husband and I have eaten at Cheddars. The walk in entrance was dirty this should have been a sign for us to turn around and eat some where else. We stayed and regretted it once I received my meal. I ordered the ribs, with baked potato and cheese broccoli casserole. No fall off the bone ribs here at Cheddars and my food was served room temperature not even warm or hot....very disappointing. The only thing to enjoy was the hot buttery croissants and my husband's hot pot pie. We will not be returning Cheddars. What a waste of money!!!!

Came in with a party of 5 two of which were my elderly grandparents they tried to seat us at a high top when I asked if we could have a table the hostess rolled her eyes. So they shoved us in the back corner of the restaurant with a chair at the end of the table. The server Jenna was rude with an attitude she just absolutely refused to listen to anything we were saying or asking. It took over an hour for our food to hit the table. And then the food was cold. This used to be a really great place but honestly it’s really gone down hill the only saving grace was the manager Amy.

Not a great place. First of all, it’s just dirty. Table was dirty, menus were oily, and my beer glass had something green dried to the inside. Food is bad. My fish and veggie plate was just a plate of mush. Everything was waaaay overcooked, and the green beans were weirdly sweet. Husband’s burger and bacon were undercooked, and he ended up getting food poisoning. Not worth the money in the slightest. Update: Sent an email to the address provided by the owner and never heard anything back, so clearly that was for show.

We didn’t get to have a meal! We were seated and had to wait quite a while. Our waiter walked by and said I will be right with you. We watch another couple be seating and receive service by the same waiter and receive their drink order. We got up and left and will never return. This is not the first time we have received no service or awful service from this location. Shame on us for giving them another chance. Won’t happen again!

I placed a To-go order for two servings of Spinach Dip at 9:35pm and was informed it would be complete in 5-10 minutes. I arrived at 9:40pm and stood at the to-go/ Carry out for 5 minutes, before having to go find someone to service me. Not to mention there were several servers whom passed by and didn’t acknowledge that I was standing there. I didn’t receive my order until 10:08pm. I checked my order after getting to my car and immediately wanted to try the croissants that were placed with my order. Only for them to be slightly burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle. So I went back to the door to inform them of this matter and the doors were locked, and again everyone who walked by wouldn’t even acknowledge I was standing there with my order in hand. So I eventually called and spoke to someone who stated they couldn’t open the door but would remake the croissants. This is unacceptable costumer service, especially if I mention what was displayed.

We have ordered from this location several times; it is closest to our house. The one down the road in Fort Worth is great, but we are not wasting money here, again! This is how the order of butterfly shrimp arrived (my wife did eat part of one of the shrimps), with A LOT of black, burned food in the container. Disgusting, greasy, and nasty, old food! Tastes like it was cooked, left out, then thrown in the fryer again to heat it up for our order.

First off the waiter looked uninterested to wait on us. The crossiants were cold . We got chips and queso, steak meal with salad and chicken tender meal with salad. The queso was good but cold the chips were stale, steak chewy, chicken tenders chewy. The only thing good was the queso but it wasn’t hot , the fries were ok, the salad was ok. They should warn people that there is eggs in the side salad though. Once the waiter gave us our Togo boxes he never came back so we could pay. Very sad customer service the place wasn’t even packed. We will never be back to this location.

My husband and I haven't eaten at Cheddars in a while due to the price increase of the food. It was on of our favorite restaurants and we loved the food but the prices were to much. We decided to take our granddaughter there for lunch this week and were so disappointed. Not only was it over priced the food was not good at all. All three of us were very disappointed in our dishes. Cheddars has lost us as a customer.

This restaurant isn’t even that old and I can tell it’s falling off…especially with the quality of food and what goes on in the kitchen.. I ordered chicken pot pie and took one bite and noticed it tasted off like it had cleaner in it. It was disgusting! Nothing about it tasted even close to a chicken pot pie. My girlfriend ordered the white fish plate and you can tell just from looking at it the fish was not freshly cooked, carrots looked like they’ve been sitting out for some time. It still tasted decent but just didn’t look fresh like it’s looked at other Cheddar restaurants. The waiter was slow, took 15 min for him to come check on us then he said he would get us complimentary desserts for the troubles but he never showed back up. I paid on the kiosk, printer didn’t work for a receipt either. Don’t think I’ll be back to this location.

Food was awful and salty. Loaded potato is a joke. I have never been charged for the croissants before today. Honestly that's the best they offer as the food was frozen and reheated. And the server was the salt in the wound as she also carried a aditude. Also silverware was dirty and i had to order hot water to clean them. Lastly we order the fried apple pie since we were still humgry after the awful meal we didnt enjoy bit the apple pie was the only thing that made us smile.I once loved this place but I will never ever return in this lifetime.
