Great food North Indian taste. We ordered Paneer butter masala, mixed vegetables they were mind blowing. Cheese naan, garlic naan and potato Kulcha were amazing too. Don’t just go by interior they might feel old but food is something will get you hooked. Must try once.
I had the best samosa I have ever had tonight at Sangam. Clearly handmade with a perfect crust that encased a terrific balance of potatoes, peas, and tumeric. The Gobi Manchurian was also excellent, though be prepared for some good heat. I was so happy to learn Sangam offers a number of dishes with no meat or dairy; I actually have choices at Sangam! Will definitely be back soon.
Absolutely delicious food from start to finish. Owners were also very kind. Best Indian cuisine I’ve ever tried, it was honestly that good.
Excellent experience they have veg and non both the varieties and I must say there coustomer handling skills are top notch every one should must visit this place and tried there food thank you so much for providing such brilliant hospitality
Food is one of the best I have eaten, first time eating indian food, my family and me love it! And the assistance is really amazing!
My husband and I went there for lunch —we have really fresh pakora, chicken, and fish dishes. We loved it! I’ll definitely go back again. The prices are very affordable too.
If you are looking for something quick easy and simple this is your place. With the daily all you can eat buffet, you walk in serve yourself and pay whenever you are done. Had an amazing variety of curries and tikka masala. 10/10 recommend
Very good Indian food!! The buffet was very delicious and the chicken tikka is amazing! The lady working was extremely nice and everything was very clean. Definitely recommend if you want to eat Indian food at a good price and good quality!!
This has become one of my wife’s and I’d favorite spots for dinner. The minute you walk in they treat you like family. They’ll stop and have conversations with you and are more than welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend ordering the lamb vindaloo putting all of it on your plate and with several orders of Naan just rip, grab and eat. No utensils necessary
I love picking up chicken tikka masala for my family to bring home. It's always delicious and packaged well enough that it's still hot when I get home (~20 minute drive). I've a big baby about spicy food so I get the rice and naan bread to calm it down. The flavor is so good I keep coming back though! Do yourself a favor and try them out!
I love this place. Been going here since I moved to Denton, 5 years now. I’ve dined in and taken out and have never been disappointed. They’ve never forgotten anything or screwed my order up. Always have leftovers. Best mango lassi & Malai Kofta in Denton. The buffet is great, is well-maintained, and you can even get takeout buffet. They give you your own packet of naan to-go. The woman who I presume runs the place does her job very well. The restaurant is neat and tidy. Hand sanitizers at the counter & buffet. The picture I attached is from the buffet, so I put it in the container myself. If you order to-go, they package very carefully!
The service here was great and polite. The food was delicious! I couldn't decide between Chicken Korma or Chicken Tikki Masala, Korma was suggested, soooo good. My guy requested Buttered Chicken. We had Samosas and Paneer Pakora (Fried Cottage Cheese) as appetizers. Some of the best Samosas I've ever had. The Paneer Pakora was great with one the sweet table sauces or plain. I also ordered a side of garlic and plain Naan. We will definitely be going back! They have a buffet 7 days a week. We're going back to try more Don't miss out in this hidden gem.
The place is a nice small restaurant. The food is good, but they are popular for their lunch buffets rather than menu items. In terms of customer service, the three times I went there, I noticed the lady at the cashier greets and is very polite to people who were not brown, but for the customers like myself she was indifferent and rude. However, all the other servers I had in the restaurant were very polite and very friendly. For the only Indian restaurant I have come across in Denton, this place is good if you are going for a buffet. The picture is the fried fish appetizer from the menu and the drink is a mango lassi. If you are in the Denton area and craving for some Indian food, this is a good spot.
Went for lunch buffet. Restaurant was Quiet, clean and friendly staff. I have wanted to try Indian food and figured a buffet was a good choice. I was definitely satisfied with my choice. I tried chicken curry, goat curry, yellow rice, Chana musala, veg dakora and more items. All tasted great to me and even had some spice to it!
HAIR in the food!!!! I don't give Google Reviews often, but I decided that it is my responsibility to write this review in order to educate the public. Today, my fiancee and I went to this restaurant and ordered a dish called Vegetarian Thali. We ordered two chai tea and an extra samosa for us, because the Thali comes with just one Samosa. Once I started to serve myself a curry, the 1st thing came to my spoon was a chunk of BLACK HAIR!! My fiancee was about to throw up after seeing that, and we immediately informed the waiter about the hair. He seemed upset, and he informed the lady who was in the cashier (named "Raani", I believe) and she didn't even apologize at least once. Instead, she asked us to pay for two Samosa, which we didn't even touch. We paid for the two Chai Tea that we sipped a couple of times and left the restaurant. I'm so glad that we didn't have at least a bite of that hair infested food and feel terrible about how rude that lady treated us. Please don't go there, unless you want to be treated rude and eat unhygienic food.
The lady in front was so rude. She didn't welcome us and when we asked her something her behavior wasn't professional. I would say don't gothere. She needs to change her behavior for her business. They don't care about their business.
Extremely RUDE and disrespectful. Gets upset with customers. Rude to talk to. I called only ONCE to check if they serve HALAL meat and she got extremely upset and rude and screaming at me, that why I am asking her this question. She kept saying that DO I ask McDonald for this question? She would not slow down and kept going with her anger. Wont listen to me all. wont slow down at all. I am Muslim and want to order from them for 10 people on regular basis. So I need to confirm if they serve Zabiha Halal meat or not. She could have simply said YES or NO. Its VERY common for Muslims to ask different restaurants to tell them in advance if they serve Halal. And I have never come across any where in USA where restaurant owner or manager will get upset and start screaming or yelling for asking this simple question. Extremely disappointed by attitude and this fact alone is enough to tell me that they DO NOT serve Halal meat at all.
Until today, this was my weekly go-to for Indian-food-Thursday almost since they opened. As of today, no more. Today the owner lady hassled me about how last week I added a couple extra pieces of naan to my to-go container. Today she loudly called me out just as I started filling my container and told me, if you get naan from the buffet she would not give me the fresh naan that comes with the to-go meal. To the owner lady if you read this, think about how a couple slices of naan bread cost you a guaranteed weekly customer of over 3+ years. There is also nothing stating any limitations on buffet to-go items. There are many great Indian restaurants around Denton including dozens of food trucks.
I have been here about 10 times in the past and even ordered some catered platters for a party at my house about 3 years ago. I enjoy the food and I like to support small businesses. Today was different and I will never give them another penny of my money. I was on a video call with my fiance who is from the Philippines and has never had Indian food before. I was excited to show her what the food looked like and told her I would be taking her to this restaurant. There were 4 other customers in the restaurant at this time. The extremely rude woman at the register shouted at me "You can't show that video! No photos or video allowed! You can't show that!" Right in front of the customers. Even though it was extremely rude and unexpected, I maintained my composure and informed the rude lady that I was on a video call with my fiance. She stopped yelling but did not apologize. 1. A business has the right to refuse service to anyone, but should have signs posted if they have such asinine and idiotic rules. 2. I'm very glad that she nor anyone from the back attempted to grab my phone or walk up to me with their bad attitudes, or else we would have had other problems. Look at the reviews here, that old rude lady at the front register is the main reason that this place has low reviews. I will NEVER be back. My recommendation is for them to replace the disrespectful lady at the front with someone that understands how to treat customers and has common courtesy. The business should post signs if they don't want anyone to take photos or do videos. Many content creators/food bloggers do that regularly and it brings positive exposure to a restaurant. This restaurant must not be very confident in their food and/or cleanliness. For any potential customers, I encourage you to avoid this restaurant like I will from now on. But... if you do go there, make sure to video and photograph the food as much as possible so you can experience the polite customer service. 😉
