I can't help myself but I've got to have the taco burgers sometimes. They are sooo good you can't stop with just one! The staff at the drive through are always very nice AND they've always gotten my order right, unlike some places where you don't realize it's wrong until you get home.

The drive thru customer service worker on Loop 288 location , DILAN was amazing. Absolutely loved his attitude, courtesy, and great skills while working with the public. Order was perfect and just a great person! I hope he is acknowledged for his service because he deserves recognition!!

Taco Casa is the best. Far better than Taco Bell. Love their Taco Lites, a fried flour tortilla shell. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Orders are accurate and fast.

This is my favorite place to eat! The chaladas are great and the frijolis and the chips and cheese with peppers 🌶. Only I would go inside because you don't always get all your food when going through the drive thru. Like we never get our peppers when we drive thru. Their sweet tea is amazing too. They are not very high priced either!

Food was great but the guy who took our order just jerked the money out of my son's hand and was very rude, rushing us etc. Luckily he changed his attitude once he realized I don't play when he comes to my kid's. Other than that, super clean place and great food

I didn't know how to rate the atmosphere because I never have dined in, was in the drive-through, so I guess that's 5 stars immediately, because I didn't have to get out and walk! It's a fair price for the plate of nachos, which you can easily share with someone else and not get mad that you're still hungry afterwards. Chips seem to always be tough - not crispy or thick, just hard - and seem to taste over fried/extra toasty like they're goin' for a Fritos taste. Don't know if they cook them themselves perhaps too many at a time and store them in a big bag that they don't burp free of air as much as possible, or if they are fried in a factory somewhere and shipped to them and they just wait around too long too long before being used up.... But I digress..just tryin' to figure out why they're so hard. ♡ UpDaTe: I have dined in 3rd visit; it was quiet; few customers in & out and I watched TV. Chips were OK on the 3rd visit and were much better on the 4th visit which was a Drive Thru order.

I love Taco Casa! This Taco Casa is one of the best! The food was fresh and hot. I always have the Super Tostado and 2 tacos with Sour cream. My fiance had the Super burrito and a taco burger with cheese. Yall should really try one!! The young man working the drive thru was exceptional! I was having a pretty rotten day until Taco Casa! By far the best mexican drive through in the area. It's a bit more pricey than a Taco Bell, but you get what you pay for. The tacos have generous portions of meat and cheese. Even their sauce is better than most places. If you are in the mood for mexican, but don't have time to go out to a full service place or don't feel like cooking at home, I would recommend stopping here.

The food here is delicious like always but this location has the fantastic staff to back it up. Definitely recommend if you're thinking fresh made tacos fast!!

The super burrito is good, but my go-to is definitely their classic hard-shell tacos. The amount of cheese is fantastic and the shells are fresh and crispy. Obviously, get the sweet tea because it's fantastic.

Recently tried Taco Casa for the first time and really like it. Food is good and fresh. Service is good. Orders have been accurate. Only issue is there isn't one close to my house...we have to drive 10 miles to get to this Denton location.

All excellent! Went during an odd time so there was no one inside except us. Employees were very friendly. Meat was NOT greasy. There was NO shortage of cheese. My chilada was good!

I believe it all starts at the top. Nice managers hire nice people. And it goes the other way more often. Taco Casa on loop 288 are ALWAYS so kind. It's the only place I have ever got a taco that was hot from a fast food place. They do a GREAT JOB.

Love the tacos and the hot sauce here. The staff is super friendly too. They usually have discounted tacos on Tuesdays, just check ahead because the specials are seasonal. My kids like the plain nachos and always beg for the cinnamon and sugar chips. Last, kids get free small kid sized fountain drinks. This is our preferred taco stop in the area.

The staff was awesome extra friendly very helpful even though they were packed and very busy they still made sure everyone was enjoying their meals. Very clean bathrooms very clean environment if you're looking for a quick eat go to taco casa the food was made with care. Every restaurant was packed on the square so I stopped in at Taco Casa. I was hesitant because there was hardly any customers. However, the food was better quality then all other local fast food taco joints. The staff were friendly and the lobby was clean. The location is pretty far down the loop but the experience was worth it. I will be coming back again soon.

I love this place. When you walk in, you're greeted right away and made to feel comfortable. The employees at this fast food restaurant actually seem happy to work here. The food is consistent. I have food intolerances, and have never had an issue here. They've never given me a hard time about any modifications and they're never stingy with servings. I've never had a bad experience here.

Went to have dinner with the wife and kids truly enjoyed my experience. When my kids started getting a bit stir crazy the manager brought out casa delites so that me and my wife could finish enjoying our meal. Sometimes, it's the little things that go a long way!!! We love this location in Denton. One of our favorite places to eat. Staff and management are always friendly, and the food is always good. The only "complaint" I would have about the atmosphere is that the restrooms put off a terrible odor all the time, not because they are not clean, but it almost like there is an issue with the plumbing or something of that nature.

So there's a manager named Victoria Phelps that works here every day. She is by far the best and most amazing fast food employee I have ever gotten the pleasure of meeting . She is so nice and considerate. Even when she looks totally exhausted she is still smiling and laughing and always makes my night so much better. While being at taco casa about 2 weeks ago I had the worst day ever and when I got there I ordered and had the greatest mood change ever. Taco Casa has the best customer service. Nathan at the loop 288 drive thru was super friendly and helpful. Sadly the order turned out to be missing about $10 of items when I got home and it was already past close so I emailed customer service and Grace the district manager replied the very next day. I called her and they did a refund right over the phone and were so nice about it. I've never had that kind of experience with fast food service. Normally this kind of story would end with annoyance and frustration. Instead I'm now more likely to keep patronizing this store because of how the issue was handled AND because of the pleasant service up front. Many thanks to Grace and the Lewisville manager whose name I didn't catch. Y'all and your staff are doing an amazing job!

It was my first time eating here. I ordered the super burrito and a soft taco with a coke. I really liked the taco. The tortilla was fresh. The lettuce was fresh crisp ice berge lettuce so there was a nice cruch and there was plenty of meat and cheese in the taco. In my opinion It would some onion and sour cream or guacamole would take the taco up a notch. The burrito was okay. Again, really fresh tortilla. It was majority refried beans with some beef and cheese sprinkled through out. I was expecting more beef so I was disappointed but I ate the whole thing. I am a picky eater even when I am hungry. I liked the sour cream. I could have used some on my taco. The meat was warm which I appreciated. All in all I now have a quick taco craving spot in a pinch. Also, the drive through staff had great customer service.

If you were of taco eating age in the 1970s, you may remember that the taco place with a bell in the name, tasted a bit different than it does today (good or bad...I shall not judge). Taco Casa was started by a franchisee who took those recipes of the 1970s when the chain was bought by a major fast food chain. What I am trying to say, is GO TO TACO CASA when you need an old school, fast Tex-Mex moment in your life. Also, though I sadly do not know his name there is the best drive-thru window employee that you will ever encounter there. Seriously, he is an excellent hire!

Only fast food place i really like. The most recent day I was in there, a group of 4 or 5 special needs adults and their care giver had come in. The person working the counter was so kind and patient with them as they gave their orders and paid for them, which posed a challenge for them, but clearly was something they wanted to be able to do. She later went and chatted with the table and checked on them all. In other words, she treated them like any other customers in the store, which I believe is all they wanted. What an excellent thing to sit and watch.

This is honestly one of the better places in Denton taking everything in to consideration. They are very friendly, get your order right, never have attitudes, the food is always fresh and they put some respect when making your food. Best Mexican fast food I have eaten. Generous portions and fresher ingredients than Taco Bueno and especially Taco Bell's by products. They give you huge bean burrito, large tacos and chips n queso that could feed a whole family. Service is decent but drive thru gets busy during lunch times. I don't know why there aren't more of these franchise around.

Could not get over this taco casa. Never have been inside one before. This location was spotless, the staff was friendly and helpful and the tacos were really delicious. Pleasantly surprised.

I had a very nasty review in the past about this place, but it has gotten a LOT better. I dont care if they are on their phone at the register, or cutting up with one another while making food. Its a fast food place, not a 5 star restaurant. The food is good, its made quickly, and its definitely satisfying. I just wish the ingredients in the spicy bean burritos I get were spread evenly lol sometimes i get a bite of just sauce, and a bite of just bean. That cheese is amazing though.

For some reason this taco casa cannot keep employees. This has been ongoing for months now. That means something is wrong with management. Thank goodness the quality hasn't changed. So it's good food y'all, you're just gonna be waiting forever to get it.

One thing I noticed about Taco Casa is that they're not stingy with cheese. They proudly pile it on. The food is fresh tasting and their sweet tea tastes close to something your Granny makes. I've tried the tacos, the burritos, the taco salad and the chiladas- all are good. Taco Casa gives you your money's worth for sure.

If you like cheese this is your place. Lots and lots of cheese on everything. Great burritos and soft tacos. Sometimes food can be hit or miss depending on who's on shift. Drive through can be slow sometimes also. Great drinks too, "Sonic" ice and good straws.

This is our new taco bell. Lol the tacos taste so much better than TB, the meat looks and taste like real meat. Plus their tacos have a lot of meat in them. One can also ask for a courtesy drink, it's small but FREE. Oh big plus for veterans, they do offer a free drink w order, however each location is different and if I'm not mistaken seniors get discount. Get your grub on

We go forbthe crunchy taco, it is priced a little high if you go on a night other than Tuesday. They offer a free kids drink so that is an awesome bonus. Service was okay for dining in.

It's drive through tacos. Better than most, but still not a ton to expect. They have tables if you don't like drive through, of course. Staff was kind, and quick. Atmosphere is not anything to gawk at, but not repulsive either. Usually plenty of clean tables inside.

I don't care for the way they make their nachos. Even when you asked for them spread out, they still separate every item. Other than that, they're really good.

The food always tastes great. And we haven't had that many times, really only once I think, where we get home only to realize that it is a mess, so that is wonderful. Most fast food places have trouble with that. The last time we went there was a lot of new staff and we had trouble getting our food quickly because they were having trouble getting orders right. But that comes with the territory with new staff and training, and we have never had that issue before then. It is a great, and fast, location that we are always happy visiting.

Typical fast drive-thru Mexican food. Kind of a limited menu, but that was okay for me. Friendly staff, fast service, good portion and decent quality. I would go back if it were convenient and I were in the mood for this style of food again. Taco Casa met my expectations, but then I wasn't expecting a lot. No complaints.

All of the Taco Bells in Denton are terrible, so I decided to give Taco Casa a shot. For my first visit, the food came out quickly and tasted great with the downsides being the higher prices and lack of combos/deals that Taco Bell has. I spent $18 for 2 soft tacos, 2 super tacos, and a large Dr. Pepper (mostly ice). I rarely spend over $10 at Taco Bell for a similar meal. Taco Casa seems to have better consistency and overall quality, which makes it a good substitute but not my first choice.

Normally they do Awsome but when you get the super nachos (spread out) you get this.. only the top has anything. Normally the whole things does not only the top.. it’s mostly chips

They mixed my order up, fill & billed for "lite" tacos when we ordered super, but it worked out because we order nacho chips too. Food was fine, however chips where a little to thick. Thinner chips are better 😃 😊

Tasty and different from most taco places. I highly recommend the Chilada. A flour tortilla stuffed evenly with seasoned ground beef and refried beans, covered in shredded cheese and enchilada sauce then baked and sprinkled with slices black olives. Nice explosion of flavor. Friday is my favorite day to buy them at 2 for $5. Taco Tuesday is a good deal on tacos. Regular crunchy are just $1.29. Good size taco with a lot of meat then lettuce and cheese.

Usually the food is decent for the price. This time was not the case. I'm pretty sure we got as much grease as meat. It was horrible to say the least. We will try another location as this one seems to have gone downhill. Generally, when prices go up, the quality will go up along with them. Y'all got it backwards. We've been taco casa fans for years as it was a good, quick choice for the money. The taco Tuesday deals seemed to have gone by the wayside as well.

I ordered a spicy bean & cheese burrito that didn't have any spicy sauce in it. I ordered a soft taco, the cashier said "we don't have soft tacos." I'm sorry, what? I'm at a Taco Casa. I might have thought she was joking, had she smiled one time during the entire transaction. 😐 How exactly do you have burritos, enchiladas (or whatever it's called) etc etc, but there are no soft tacos. No explanation, just "we have regular tacos". Unpleasant experience.

The burritos were fine, if a bit on the more tortilla than bean side. The staff are friendly, and I've never seen it a mess in the dining room when I visited. The menu is simple and the flavor profiles are too. It's a decent place to grab a quick nosh on the go, but there are better taco / burrito shops around.

Taco casa used to be our favorite place to buy tacos as they were meaty, well seasoned and crispy just as one would make at home. The staff seems to be as complacent as in other fast food joints lately with it showing in both the face shown to customers and food put out. As example today: my large iced tea had a rounded bottom and rocked so I couldn't put it down on a table and my wife couldn't eat her tacos because they were dripping with grease and shells were soggy. All those taco places in town and no one seems to want to stick out now.

The meat did not taste that good to me. I had the Supreme burrito and it was not tasty at all. Compared to other places that serve tacos this place does not stand out as the best. What I am experiencing with most fast food restaurants is the declining quality of the food, yet increasing costs.

I ordered the super nachos to eat in my car. Not a good idea. It is served as a bunch of separate ingredient and you have to build it all yourself. I understand this is good for take home but really not great for eat on the go. I have ordered their super burrito and it is good. Better than Taco Bell in my opinion based on flavors.

Went on Sunday evening through the drive through. Wasnt too busy but still took a bit to get our food. We ordered the super nachos and super tacos. All the chips were stale and chewy. This happens usually from using old chips. The tacos were exactly the same , the shell was old and stale as well. Maybe it was an off day but I would check chips/shells if you buy food here.

Every time that I ask for no lettuce and no tomatoes. They always end up putting one of them on there if not all.

Leaving the drive thru right now. Idk how this location has so many good reviews. Been here on multiple occasions and the staff has been blatantly rude, always sound annoyed when taking my order. Every single time! This time they didnt finish wrapping the burritos in foil so the contents are leaking everywhere. I've never had this problem at any other location, but I keep coming back cause I love the food. After this visit I'm officially done with Taco Casa. Not that they would care anyway with these fake 5 star reviews.

Overall the employees and service was great. However, later own that night, I was extremely sick to my stomach and I 🤮 everything!! I was sick for two days. I'm not sure if the meat was bad but it definitely did a number on me. This was the first time this has happened to me after eating from TC😔

The line is just way too long for me. 5 people deep, each taking 10 minuteswith the menu for their orders after getting to the counter. How do you not use the wait time to decide? I get to the counter and the gentleman taking orders just walks away? I just wanted a large drink. I gave up. This is ridiculous.

The last time I came to this location was a few months back and the taco shells were really old but I tried it again today because anyone can off day. I purchased two taco supreme and one regular taco. Well... shells still not the freshest but better. The reason I never mind paying almost $5 per taco is because they stuff the shelf with meat and cheese so it's worth it. This time the cheese was not the full length of the taco. There was a decent amount until I tried to stretch it along the empty parts of the taco. There was no meat at the ends of the taco. It was literally STUFFED with lettuce!! This is not how it is suppose to be. I will not be back to this location again. I drove over 30 minutes from my home to come here. It was not worth it. Then my cup of tea came out with a bug on it. I should've left then but just asked for it to be replaced. The quality just isn't there.

I went thru dt, ordered bean cheese mild,Add sour, 2 soft tacos. Same thing I order every 3 days 2 times a week, an each time it's wrong, this one time I speak up cause I'm sick of it, the manager Keisha and DM Johnathan both laught at me on the phone, and said it was made right and went to screaming at me, the customer, so I yelled back cause I had a 10 hr day and wanted to eat and go to next job. The 2 tacos were hard shell an all broke up. Not soft like I paid for, no sour cream on burrito, and used hot sauce packets in my order, messy at that. No refund, no call back, not shit. Don't go there. Everything is trash.Even the management trash. Trash. Trash. Trash. 🗑️

If I could give them one stars I would. Came through the drive thru today. Ordered 1 combination burrito and 2 regular tacos. Got to the window the lady at the window took my card didn’t greet me or anything. So then a few seconds later another female not the one taking my order handed me a burrito on a plate like a dog kind of threw it at me like here you go. I was confused as to 1 why was I receiving my food like that no bag nothing just the burrito and 2 where was the rest of my food.The lady who took my order stood behind the lady who handed me my burrito all acting as if they wasn’t getting what I was saying. She even stated I was only told to give you a burrito. Seemed as if they didn’t want to give me all my food. The girl at the window seemed as if she was under the influence of something eyes super low and red. So I finally received my 2 tacos in a bag no napkins or hot sauce nothing.

For the super nachos take out you get a box absolutely FULL of chips but a half scoop of beef. This is basically just a meal of chips. For the price and care to the customer this absolutely terrible.
