i always love going here whenever i want a little sweet treat! honestly, their name serves them justice, their taiyaki is SO good (i definitely recommend the oreo taiyaki) and they have a lot of combination for their drinks. their kiosk is a little hard to work around, but if you just play around with it you’ll be fine. the staff is extremely friendly and always makes sure your order is precise. the vibes are super homey and welcoming. definitely recommend this place!!

Our first experience was flawless from start to finish :) We were greeted by a friendly staff member and he helped us with ordering and sampling, and had great suggestions and answers to any questions. They were so good. I tried to go and dine in as well. Recommend flavors: Nutella, choco caramel, custard, oreo. I didn't like strawberry much, tasted like jam but it was decent.

Adorable little shop with plenty of variety and friendly staff! I got the oolong tea with passion fruit boba, and it’s so delicious I physically can’t stop sipping XD They sell thematic merch along with the sweets, and the ordering experience is crisp and easy with a touchscreen menu with large pictures and great organization. Although there’s not much indoor seating, there’s plenty of aesthetic decoration and music, as well as outdoor seating to make up for it. Great location- I’ll absolutely be coming back!!

My favourite place to go for boba. I also love the taiyaki, they taste so good especially on cold nights! They have a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly. They recently added kiosks which makes ordering a lot easier and less overwhelming.

Oh my gosh...the tea is amazing! The jasmine was super fragrant and their Boba has amazing flavor !!! The taiyaki is full of filling head to tail and is so fluffy 😍 ☺️ 💕 Also 50% sweet is almost too sweet it's THAT flavorful. We love and will be back for sure ! Wish location had proper parking and we would be regulars !

For a grand opening it is really good!! Definitely have to figure out how to pick up the pace during the rush hours. The boba is delicious but the boba pearls can be cooked a little longer. Update review This place has really grown!! The boba is delicious and the taiyakis are amazing! But the staff is 1# the best customer service. I will wait hours to get these freshly made desserts 🍨.

Went to this lovely shop with a group of friends. At the time their tasting was horchata or chocolate milk. I liked it. What I ordered was an Oreo and custard Taiyaki. I'd like to try any of their drinks the next time I visit. I liked both the taiyaki but the custard was best. I thought it was a bit strange the staff had an almost robotic dialogue with each of us. I did enjoy the atmosphere as it was cozy. I liked their Snoopy Lo-fi music on the projector.

The prices are actually pretty reasonable. The only downside was that they were out of basically all the drinks and boba. So sadly I didn’t get to try any of it because my roommate bought the last little bit of the oolong milk tea (enough for a medium). The taiyaki was good but the ice cream is overly sweet so I couldn’t finish all of it. The custard was good, but nothing too crazy. My other roommates got a taiyaki filled with Nutella and the other one with Oreo filling. I think the Oreo was my favorite. It was almost like breading in the inside. They did have a wide selection, again most of it was out. I do plan on coming here again, I just hope that they’ll have more things in stock. Also idk how I feel about the open doors / windows. It’s going to get cold soon so I hope they have regular doors.

I stopped by Taiyaki Sweets on Hickory Street recently. I ordered three taiyaki (Oreo, custard, Nutella fillings), plus a strawberry mango milk tea. The milk tea was enjoyable—creamy, refreshing, well-balanced. However, the taiyaki themselves missed the mark. Some parts tasted undercooked—doughy instead of crispy—and overall they lacked the warm, flaky texture I expected. The cafe itself is quirky and inviting, with colorful decor, touchscreen ordering, and friendly staff. Atmosphere and drinks are great, but the main snacks didn’t quite deliver.

it is so expensive, it costs extra to get no ice and they give small cups and their milk tea is really thick, its different from regular milk tea but their flavors are somewhat good. if you want something quality go to bbibbi instead, its the closest thing in quality to big brands like fengcha, kungfutea, sharetea, etc.
