It's a pretty decent breakfast joint with good service and hot food. We ordered the "All-Star Breakfast" meal, which was more then enough food, at a resonable price. Two eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns and a waffle for $9.50.

4.5 stars. Everything I ordered was fresh and rightly made. At least 3 different staff members had made eye contact and asked if I needed anything or just ensuring I was good. I enjoyed the light conversation w my server. 1/2 star deduction because my table could have been wiped down better and one of my bacon slices was wiggly and not crispy. Side note, they honor vets w a 10% discount. ***UPDATE, 10/16/22 Beware when ordering to go, this is what youll end up with when you get home (see pic below). They put a good waffle in top of the ine I surely would have sent back on bottom. And to think i tipped in hopes of good svc. So disappointing service 2 stars and thats being generous. **** Thank you so much. Happy eating, now Go get your grub on.

The music was so loud I had to yell at our server who said they could do nothing about the volume. We've gone here for years and never had this issue. Ate quickly and left. Won't be back if this is the new norm.

I went here December 3rd and 4th. On the 3rd me and my friend arrived and stopped here for breakfast on our way to Decatur. It's one of the cleanest and well looked after Waffle House's I've ever been to and the food was good and fresh so I decided to stop here again on the 4th. This was the mistake unfortunately. I asked for a bowl (hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, and added sausage gravy) and a waffle. Well the bowl itself came out quickly but they forgot the gravy so I just reminded them and no biggie it was added. I ate the meal but the gravy wasn't hot as usual but I mixed it all in and the rest of the food was so I didnt think much of it until later. I waited over 20min for them to bring my waffle (they forgot about it but were serving waffles to other customers walking through the door). Well when morning shift arrived the whole scene changed. An older gentleman who I assume was the manager or even the owner came in he took charge but in a great way. He took the waffle off my bill due to the extended wait time, cleaned up plates, and even got me a refill on my water I had been waiting on. Now here's the part that got me thinking. He told them to throw away the gravy it was not in the correct pan something about it being too shallow and they couldn't serve that... well fast forward a couple of hours since I left there and I started feeling ill and nauseous. Around 11am I started violently throwing up all the food and then I started feeling slightly better. Took until around 4:30pm when I was able to get home from work to take medicine and rest that I finally felt much better and all I ate that day was Waffle House. So I won't be returning at least not while nightshift is still on the clock but I'd be more than happy to during dayshift as the older gentleman was definitely a godsend for anyone else that might've ordered gravy throughout the day.

This location has gone down hill. I ate there during the evening and the server didn't even seem to have a clue to what she was doing. Didn't charge us right for the food we ordered and food came out cold. I think the older lady named Debbie was our server and it was not a good experience. It's ashame because I love waffle house and its usually good but the denton location has gotten worse. Next time I think I will travel to Gainesville and eat at that location so much better food quality and service.

Ridiculous! Found out that Friday and Saturday night after 11:30 they only take to go orders. Then they charge 20% extra for those orders. They said it was for safety, I get that, but in the 20 minutes we were there 5 groups to include one group of 10 people walked out because of this policy. In my opinion it would make more sense to hire security for safety because they are probably losing a lot money. People want to come in, sit down, and eat and talk.
