Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek

We had such a great time a Hapa. We came here on a big work lunch outing. There were maybe 11 of us. Service was excellent. Couldn’t have been better. The appetizers and sushi were very very good. Sashimi was extremely good and fresh for the price. The cuts were thick. I even appreciated all of the wasabi since sushi places usually don’t give enough. I will be back!!

My friend and I came here for dinner, and it was such a great experience coming to Hapa! The space is beautiful and phenomenal. I like how there is patio seating as well. Our server was very attentive and I never ran out of water! The food is also terrific. The flavors were out of this world!

Upskill sushi place offering great service and a flexible menu. Waiter worked with me to make a custom order that was delicious! Outdoor seating area/tables could stand to be cleaner.

I love this place and go weekly. Tonight was nothing but spectacular. The Waygu bao was a perfect starter and a mix of rolls were just right. Ryan went above and beyond and actually had the rolls plated by who ordered them.

We went for our anniversary and had the best time. The food was terrific and the service was exceptional. Leo took care of us the whole night and his expertise, creativity and overall presentation was phenomenal. 100% will be returning!!!!

From the start to finish this place gave me a good experience. Went out here with a couple friends for sushi, we were greeted and seated in no time. The menu was beautiful and the wait wasn't long. Very pleased with the service and the quality of food. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great lunch with a friend after a dress fitting nearby. Tons of sushi options. The patio seating was nice and well shaded. Our service was quick and friendly. We ordered gyoza as well as some nigiri and a roll. All delicious and would definitely come back. After paying for lunch, I accidentally left my credit card and didn't realize it until I got all the way home. I called them and they were able to locate it and keep it safe for me overnight. I came back the next day and they quickly returned it to me.

My husband & I come here often especially during happy hour & it's so worth it! We love the environment of this place & the food is always on point!

The staff here is lovely! Everytime I come here I get the Monkey Brain & the Seasoned Edamame, & don't forget to ask about the Specials! The new building is beautiful & spacious. On Saturday night they do late night happy hour from 10pm- 12am. Much of the food & drinks are half off! There is also a dj that plays some really enjoyable funky beats during happy hour which gives the establishment a different & positive aesthetic. I enjoy trying something new each time I come down.

Came in on Valentine’s Day and it was great! The ambience was nice, and Anna and the rest of the service staff were excellent!

Amazing experience! We came in during dinner rush and waited a little at the table before someone came to take our order. We mentioned that we hadn’t been helped yet, and the manager/waitress went above and beyond to make us more than whole. They could have just said “sorry” and brushed us off, but instead they went out of their way to provide us with the very best experience. Very caring folks. And the food was delicious! We love Hapa and we will definitely be coming back!

Cute lil spot great, upscale yet relaxed. good tunes and vibes. The sushi was amazing the staff was friendly. The drink was alright the least favorite part of the experience.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with my family. Sushi, sashimi, poke, tempura veggies.... tasted amazing and looked beautiful. Our server was awesome and made the experience even better.

I’ve been to this place multiple times for anniversaries birthday and family brunch! Such a great place to eat. Service is fantastic and the food is amazing. If I had to choose this place for any occasion this would be the place!

Leo and Jose were the absolute best! We sat at the sushi bar and ordered omokase, it was absolutely incredible! We will definitely be coming back !!

Had a really good experience at Hapa Sushi, Gabriel was our server. He was friendly, attentive, and made everything feel easy and relaxed. He checked in on us at the right times and had a great attitude the whole time. Service like that definitely makes you want to come back.

This is hands-down our favorite Hapa location. The food is always amazing, and the service is even better. The Cherry Creek staff always makes my fiancé and me feel welcomed, and they’re so thoughtful with reservations and special occasions. Last night the manager and team went out of their way to make our date night perfect. We’ll absolutely keep coming back. 10/5 stars!

Been to Hapa many times but Gabriel was an out standing part of our visit , he kept us updated , he made sure we had one of the best dinners in a long time. Totally recommend gabriel as a server ! Super funny and the food was so good as well .

Hapa is one of the best happy hours in the cherry creek neighborhood! Solid (not blow your mind) sushi for pretty decent prices. We get some of the HH sushi rolls like salmon avocado and then add stuff like cucumber and Jalapeno to jazz it up a bit. The sake bomb is the best booze deal, and im partial to the geisha cocktail (pictured here!)

Hapa always makes me happy. As someone with celiac, it is so nice to have variety. I miss tempura everything but the fact that I can go somewhere and get rolls outside of the basic rolls, is awesome. They take allergies very seriously which I appreciate because I’ve never gotten sick after eating here. Service is always great and I love their cocktail menu variety. I will always come here for my sushi cravings and I truly appreciate how accommodating they are to different needs. Thank you Hapa .

Good sushi spot with good service! The restaurant was very clean and followed COVID safety protocol very well. I ordered one of the baked rolls and it was quite good but very filling and rich due to the Mayo sauce on top. I recommend trying a baked roll while at Hapa since it seems like it’s their specialty. However, I ordered a cocktail that was raspberry sake and was pretty disappointing- I would recommend trying a different cocktail.

Very solid sushi spot. Fresh fish, unique rolls, and great atmosphere. Apps were average, but the rolls were fantastic. Would definitely come back here with friends or a date. 8.1/10

This is my third time here and was by far better than the last two times. The kale seaweed salad was delicious as were, of course, the sushi and sashimi. I don’t like gimmicky sushi, so ordered simple items. Our server, wish I could remember her name, maybe Erin ? was outstanding. Really friendly and attentive. Thanks Hapa.

So i'm a little more crucial when it comes to sushi.Because I like things at a nobu level.Which is what sets the standard. This was a great place for happy hour.Not too expensiveThe food was decent, not exceptional.I'll probably be back

The place is beautiful, the service is good. I haven't been there for a long time and I liked to go for the bowls that were very tasty. It was a shame to see that now they are served on a plate and they are not as good as before.

The location, outside seating, and atmosphere is generally nice and enjoyable. The food was okay, at best. The sushi wasn't sticky enough to call it premium, or worth the cost. The service wasn't great honestly. At least the server we got, we did not enjoy and kept missing drinks and food here and there and forgetting about us.

Ate here for lunch last week. The sushi appetizer we had was good. The ramen was served to me nearly cold. That is not how ramen should be served. The table we sat at was next to a wall which needed to be wiped down. It was disgusting. I would not eat here again. Establishments need to keep the dining area clean it is a representation of what the kitchen looks like. The waitress was very polite and attentive

Ive had alot of sushi in my days, but the sushi here was not goodat all. Very bland and tasted funny. My partner said the G spot drink tasted like Robitussin not at all sweet as advertised. Manager didnt want to take my digital ID. Food mid, experience mid.

Eric the host should not be the first point of contact - he was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. Not sure if he was having a bad day or needs additional customer service training but he was very unprofessional and did not greet us and barely spoke a word to us. Our server Amanda was great - she turned the whole experience around for us she was very sweet and attentive.

I have been coming to Hapa for years and usually it doesn’t matter which location I go to, food is always good. This was not the case this time. Came in around 1pm and was the only person there. I ordered 2 rolls and a couple sushi pieces and it took 30 minutes to get my food. When I got a Negihama roll, there was BARELY any hamachi. This is a go to roll I always order and I know it did not look right. I also got a hamachi crunch roll and it did not taste right. The avocado had more black on it than green and tasted foul. Being 1 o clock in the afternoon, that avocado was definitely from the previous day or longer. Super bummed with this experience and will probably never go back. The server I had was nice and so was the host. There are plenty of other sushi spots with better quality. I would steer clear.

Hapa poke bowl was extremely awful, kinchi was rotten. And the sushi rolls ,tres manos roll was disgusting, we tried to eat some of the food because we were hungry. 80$ not worthy..
