I love and appreciate this restaurant so much. My women’s groups love coming here for happy hour and I’ve hosted 3-4 events here over the years and try to come back at least a few times a year. They are friendly, pricing is right, and organized. My group tonight loved all their food. Here are some pics. Hosting my galentines event here is Always a success. They always have a valentines menu as well. I had My birthday here back in 2018 months I believe and it was awesome.

They have the best Bolognese in town! Hands down! Homey, friendly & casual atmosphere. We also love ordering delivery of the Pasta Bolognese (comes with a slice of delicious garlic bread - you may want more) especially on cozy weekends. We support this truly authentic Italian restaurant!… reminds us of living & eating great Italian in NYC in the 90’s.

You wouldn’t think a strip mall would have good Italian food. This place has the best Italian food I’ve tasted in denver. It’s not as good as places in Europe but good for Colorado. The food was fresh and tasty. The vibe is modern and casual. Nice big widows all around for natural lighting. The best part was our server. I wish I knew her name. She was upbeat, attentive and very friendly. Definitely would come again when I make my regular visits to Denver.

Finally got the opportunity to try Viale and it did not disappoint. First of all I’d like to give a thanks to Ariana who was absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable about the details when it comes to the food on the menu and overall just great personality. We tried the Bolognese, pizza, & Arancini, they were all absolutely amazing, can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu.

Headed to Denver for a concert with some friends recently. Checked out Viale Pizza & Kitchen since it was near where we were staying. It was a cute place. For drinks, I tried the Viale Peach & Pineapple Sangria. It was very sweet. I tasted more pineapple than peach in this drink. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweeter drink & enjoy pineapple flavors. For meals, I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella & Basil Arancini which was a basil risotto cake. It was really good! I’ve never had risotto before so I didn’t have much to compare it with but it had a slight texture of rice but more creamy. I also tried the tomato basil soup and enjoyed it, I wish it did come with a larger piece of dipping bread, or even two pieces. Seemed very dainty for this bowl. I shared the spaghetti dish with my friend. I appreciated that they separated the meal onto two plates for us. My other friend ordered the pepperoni pizza. Cute place. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I have been coming here for about 4 years and it is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. Their menu can change a bit which I enjoy - the bolognese is always the same and a go to, it’s just too good. You absolutely cannot go without getting the garlic knots. I’m not sure how but I only recently tried them and they are the best you will find. The pizza is wonderful, you truly cannot go wrong - and they have an incredible happy hour. My go to order is the beet salad and a pasta or pizza. The pumpkin bread pudding (flavors change) is one of the best things I’ve ever had in my life. Ariana is the best - I’ve had her as a server and bartender and she is my favorite. Will is also amazing. It’s a solid neighborhood restaurant that I recommend to everyone.

Good pizza and pasta. The personal size (10 ") lunch special is a good deal. It comes with one topping of your choice and a garden or Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was fresh and a reasonable size for lunch. The pizza had a thin crust with a light char. The sauce and cheese on the sausage and caramelized onion pizza I chose were both delicious. Service was fast and friendly. There was a wait for the pizza to cook, but in wasn't an unreasonable length of time. They do have password protected guest Wi-Fi. The space is pleasant with a few TVs and the music playing was a reasonable level. They do have outdoor seating for good weather. Parking is tight during mealtimes, but there were two open spots when I arrived.

Order classic Italian dishes and see how an Italian restaurant truly stands up! The service was good, the Italian Wedding Soup was wonderful, the Spaghetti was perfect and the chef served my meal! They also have Sunday brunch. What more could you ask for? Enjoy this real gem!

I went in and tried the Pizza and it was great. The margaritas and salad were also very good. I added extra cheese so it was a perfection in every piece. The host, waitress, and bartender were busy, but very nice. The prices are very reasonable for excellent quality of the food. I can hardly wait to go back.

Excellent, excellent local restaurant. All the food was so fresh and cooked with love. We shared a couple of apps including the Grilled Artichokes and Fried Polenta. Both were delicious! The chicken piccata was outstanding that was accompanied by excellent cocktails. Finally, the margjerita pizza was delicious, though the crust was surprising a little crunch but still delicious. Maybe a little less time in the oven and you nail it! We had two vegetarians at the table, one ordered and shrimp and pasta dish, the other a mushroom rigatoni; both loved everything about them. Overall, a fabulous job by Viale. Service was excellent and the food was silverback. We very much look forward to stop by again.

What an incredible dining experience. We were greeted with friendliness and taken strait to our table. The waitstaff was on point they gave suggestions with detailed explanations. They checked on us just the right amount and were friendly. Now to the food. Oh. My. Amazing is an understatement. I’m still dreaming of the bread pudding which I never would have gotten is if it wasn’t recommended. The muscles flavor was beyond, some of the best I have had. And the pasta dishes did not let down! The portions were perfect too. Oh and definitely get a cannoli, not pictured because we are them too fast! The guys in the kitchen know what they are doing!

Delicious Italian cuisine! The attention to detail here is amazing! The atmosphere is cozy, sort of a cafe/diner vibe but dressed up, which is great. The service and food are both really impressive! Our dishes blew our minds! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back

Thanks for the fantastic takeout experience! The pizzas, bolognese, and wings were so delicious. What really was impressive were the takeaway cocktails. The Manhattans were potent and hit the spot. They even packaged the Bordeaux cherries separately in a little sauce container so you could drop it into your glass! Everything was neatly packaged with good instructions. The delivery was easy and arrived warm. Thanks so much!

From Host to Owner, everyone was great! Drinks are strong. Food is good. Should have a karaoke night, they play good music. Staff seem close knit. They work well together. Thank you Ariana for being a great, fun server.

Great Italian restaurant! The staff was incredible and the food was so juicy and tender. They also had ample outdoor seating with impressive heaters. Do not sleep on this restaurant, especially as it is hidden in this little plaza in Glendale. Definitely plan to come back for a fine dining experience. Make sure to reserve a table in advance!

I ordered the roasted beet salad. Where the portion was small for the price it was made up with the fresh, quality ingredients! This salad was light and delicious. Need to try the entire menu now.

We tried this place after reading a positive review in Westword ("Viale Pizza & Kitchen Is a Must-Stop on South Colorado" by Gretchen Kurtz). We were so taken that we have returned several times. We've never had the pizza - although it looks good - but we have tried the Calimari Fritti, the Mussels Classico, the Artichoke Bruschetta - all superb. We've also had the Bison Ravioli, the Seared Divers Scallops, the Spaghetti Bolognese - also, yes, superb. This place is a delight, even though it's next door to a Comcast store in a strip mall, and it's always busy these days. I wouldn't be surprised if it were to move to more auspicious quarters soon. Before that happens, go for the dessert. The key lime pie, the tiramisu, and the Vanilla Panna Cotta all come in mason jars. Tasty and cute!

J
Jared S

The Bison and Short Rib Ravioli was spectacular! Super flavorful and savory. You get a lot of tender Short Rib meet as well. This will definitely become a staple for me! The Garlic knots were a hit too and the marinara sauce that it comes with is clearly made in house (powerful flavor, when so many other marinara sauces just end up bland, this one most certainly did not!). Friendly staff and a some great happy deals. We shall return!!

What a hidden gem! New place for us, great atmosphere, great service, and the food was really tasty! They had chicken wings, a wedge salad, Carbonara, and so many other good dishes! Looking forward to going back soon!

I've missed this spot, it's just one of the reasons why I'm so happy to be back in Denver! Excellent food, cocktails, beer & wine selection, service & atmosphere. Happy hour including food too!

Absolutely great, great Italian and pizza spot. Excellent service, pizza, salads, soup, and homemade dishes. Full bar but limited draft menu. Inside and small outside area. Lobster ravioli was great, chicken caprese was damn good, and the beer was cold. So good, great location, and a must try

What a fantastic pizza. I just tried Viale for the first time recently and had a great pizza, fresh toppings and a perfectly crispy crust. Went back a couple weeks later and got the lasagna for take out. Stupid good and giant piece, could be two meals. Garlic bread was tasty and perfectly cooked. I will say, they're very busy many evenings, so if you want pizza or food for take out, call an hour early or so.

Had a great lunch at this new pizza spot on Colorado Blvd. The owners and staff were super friendly and accommodating. I'm particular about my salad dressings and theirs are all homemade. If you like a good Cesar salad with a dressing that has a little bite (I do), you'll love their Cesar! I also had the pizza with a local made sausage and it ROCK's. The marinara left me excited for my next bite and the crust... The CRUST! Is lightly crisp with a nice doughy center that left a flavorful aftertaste in my mouth. Looking forward to trying their other dishes and definitely more pizza!

E

This was my first time trying Viale and everything was absolutely amazing. The cheesy garlic bread with marinara was something I want more of already. The Bonnie Brae pizza was delicious and the grande skillet chocolate chip cookie covered in vanilla ice cream and drizzled with fresh caramel and chocolate sauce was divine. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is decorated tastefully. I can't wait to go back!

So glad I had dinner. Visiting from Monterey California and I was blown away by the service, food and drinks. Marissa, Alicia and Tori were absolutely great above and beyond in in their level of service!! Food was great!! Thank you Chef for a great meal!! I ordered arenncini, beet salad and chicken piccata.

R
Robin Hollenbeck

What a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant! The food was so good and you could tell it was freshly made and that everything was cut by hand. We tried the braised lamb and the chicken Marsala. Both of which were excellent! The service was great but we will be back because of the food!

Stopped in for the lunch special and it was a great deal. Also tried the fries, which were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had— thick, perfectly crispy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, even after cooling down. Service was quick and friendly, though it wasn’t too busy over lunch on a Saturday. Definitely worth a visit!

J

Great little spot. Pizza had delicious flavor. Super solid. The Caesar salad dressing was tasty and had a nice tang to it.. love fresh salt & pepper grinders on the table! Good service, clean, and affordable. We'd definitely return.

Definitely worth a visit. We had the mussels and artichokes for happy hour apps followed by incredibly good pizzas. The palisade peach pizza was especially amazing. The wine list was also impressive with several quality Italian wines available by the glass or bottle. Excellent wait staff as well. We will definitely be back.

I am updating the recent 3 stars I gave my fav neighborhood restaurant. The 2 sub-par experiences were an anomaly, and things are back to the usual 10/10 status at Viale. TY for making the belly happy!

I had dinner there last night and it was delicious. We started out with the wedge salad that had a delicious blue cheese dressing. We then moved on to the crispy artichoke, which was something I had never had before, which was absolutely outstanding with A lemon aïoli. I then ordered the margarita pizza although I was very full. I ate it because it was that good. The crust was exactly how I liked it. I asked for extra crispy and it did not disappoint. Our server Hunter had attention to detail made Great menu suggestions made sure our glasses were filled at all times and always had a smile on his face. Marissa, the manager came by to check in on us to see how everything was. She was very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back and tell our friends and family..

Love this place. They are creating very well done modern Italian food in an approachable casual neighborhood environment. The owners care about their patrons and go out of the way to make sure you are taken care of. Great gluten free options which is rare for an Italian restaurant in Denver. When we ordered a to go pizza specifically with goat cheese for the wife’s dairy sensitivity and received mozzarella the owner offered to drive the new pizza to our house herself. So lucky that they are in our neighborhood. The seasonal brown butter sage ravioli with Italian sausage is one the best Italian dishes I’ve had in this town and I don’t say that lightly. Keep up the good work team!

I was having an awful Saturday, broken down car, fight over broken down car with the boyfriend, waiting for AAA, so I went in for a drink while I waited. The manager, Erica (I hope!), noticed my teary eyes brought me a beverage and told me I was welcome to wait there. Then Maddie came on shift and was so kind and told me that when she arrived Erica told her my tab was on the house and offered me a refill. Such sweet kindness! These 2 women made my horrible afternoon a little brighter. I know the restaurant is great - great food and drinks - but the kindness that was shown to me that day was exceptional customer service. So nice to see people can still be caring humans, it’s a rarity in these times. Thanks wonderful ladies!

Had Christmas Eve dinner here and it didn't disappoint. The portions were perfect, appetizer and dessert delicious. Food was very fresh. Great service. Definitely a place for nice occasions, is a bit pricey but they do have pizzas which is a little less costly that I'd go back for. Definitely going back!

Visiting from out-of-town and stopped in for dinner. The happy hour wine was a good selection. The service is fantastic and seems to be the place to go as the line for seating filled up around 6:30. The chicken picatta was good but contained a lot of filler vegetables. Could use a little more white wine and lemon sauce for base. The bread pudding was said to be a banana bread but ended up pumpkin. It was still good but I would have gone with a cinnamon sprinkle on the ice cream rather than the pumpkin spice. Nonetheless, a good visit.

Had a nice lunch while waiting for Xfinity Phone upgrade. Lunch special is an excellent value (pizza & salad) and wait staff was attentive and friendly. Would like to try dinner sometime but prices are very reasonable with excellent food quality.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here! I recommend getting the lamb braised pasta; it was very delicious and it was a decent portion. The brussel sprouts as an appetizer was a great choice as well. Although we live in COS, we definitely plan on coming back again once we’re in Denver.

Wow. This place is my new favorite in Denver. (Sorry, Gaetanos) I lived around the corner from this place for 6 months before trying it (I'm cheap, especially when it comes to pizza and its a nice looking place so I just assumed they were overpriced) and I regret not coming sooner. If, like me, you don't like spending lots of money on food, as of October '25 they have a happy hour between 3 and 6 EVERY day, not just weekdays. I tried a lot of the menu, from Mussels to Arancini and bruschetta. All great! But the pizza? Fuoco. 🔥 Fire. Fuego. Feu. In any language, it Smacks! GO GET ONE TODAY!!! Even a simple cheese will blow you away. But the meatball stood out most!..🤤 This place is an incredibly romantic date night spot that your date will love and will see as a nice or even fancy place but it is still very reasonably priced and relaxed so I don't feel out of place the way I do in some fancier restaurants. The staff we have had has been excellent even though they knew we were ordering happy hour deals and not gonna spend a ton, meaning they won't have as big a tip. Wish I was better with names so I could shout out my favorite but you know who you are! At the same time, if you just want to get some takeout or even delivery, (third-party apps only I believe) they do that too! First time we splurged and spent about $80 for two of us. We got a whole bottle of wine, a pizza with toppings and more appetizers than we could eat! The next time we just ordered two pizzas to go and spent about $30 total with the tip. About what we would spend at a "budget" national pizza chain that isn't one tenth as good as Viale is. I would pay DOUBLE what they charge for their pizza just for the record. Thank you Viale! I can't wait for our next visit!

Update. Yesterday's visit. Outstanding is an understatement. This restaurant goes above and beyond in every category each and every time. The owners and staff are amazing. Always friendly, always making sure your meal is top notch. Reservations are recommended but we've never waited more than 30 mins, even when they're super busy. The food choices are fabulous, creative, always fresh and full of flavor. The portions and prices are appropriate. We love the Garlic Knots, Spaghetti Carbonara, Bison Ravioli, Chicken Piccata and their newest dish, Braised Rabbit Linguini. To die for!! This is one of our favorite Denver restaurants!! Highly recommended! Our last visit to Viàle Pizza Kitchen for takeout was just as delicious as the first. Sooooo good! Truly fresh, full of flavor! We had Garlic Knots, Meatballs, Bison Ravioli (still our favorite) and first time trying the Lobster Ravioli. Delicious sauce and flavor but truly lacking in Lobster (especially for $28). A bit disappointed, nothing like pictured by them. Won't be ordering again. Instead, back to Braised Lamb Pappardelle. We live near DIA, definitely worth the drive over!! Thank you @vialepizzakitchen!! Support local! Just think... if you were going out to dinner, you'd be driving over there anyway. #issyrphotos #foodiefabulous #denvereats #denversbest #denverfoodie #denverfavorite #vialepizzakitchen #denverbest #ocn_eats

A local Italian bistro hiding in a shopping center off Colorado Blvd. From the outside the look is that of a really nice bistro.. An outside/inside feel with floor to ceiling windows and outdoor seating right out the front door. Once inside youre greeted right away with a view of an open kitchen and full bar. Modern concrete floors, wood and metal tables. Candlelight glowing a top each table, white napkin wrapped silverware and wine glasses decorate the room around. 50 seats max, at 530pm on a Monday night this place is already getting busier by the minute and halfway full. This little Italian bistro makes everything from scratch and their serving size is plentiful! We started with cocktails. I had a Peach&Pineapple Sangria ($8) and Matt had a drink called Devil's Advocate ($10) made with Mezcal and Fruit juices dressed with tajin it was very smokey tasting and paired well with the tajin rim. Entreès I ordered the Lobster Ravioli ($22)- Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli, san marzano vodka sauce, blistered cherry tomatoes, grana padano and fresh basil. I will say my Ravioli was delicious and had a soft center but the edges were a little harder than al dente, and could've been more. But the vodka sauce was delightful! Matt got the Braised Beef Short Ribs ($32)- covered in pesto atop a bed of Gnocchi and asparagus. The short ribs were fall apart tender and just melted in your mouth. The Gnocchi was a little to firm again and was a more dumpling consistency than a pillow-y soft pocket. The dish itself would be better with a demi glaze on the ribs rather than a Ju as it didn't give a great blanket of flavor on the Gnocchi it covered. Would've liked the beef to have a bit more flavor. My husband still raved about it though saying it was delicious! Side of Garlic Bread with Marinara ($6 ), the bread was more an after thought and reminded me of the freezer kind you buy, great to soak up your juices but not needed. All in all we were pleased with the Restaurant and Food and will return to try several more items on their menu! Definitely $$-$$$ money signs in price but I would say worth it!

I was staying at a local hotel and wanted to be able to walk to dinner. I found Viale on Yelp, and I’m so glad that I went! The pasta and drinks were great. Owner Erica was ever-present, and she’s an extremely warm person. Bartender Will was kind and attentive (not to mention handsome). I met a regular customer who sat next to me, and she was awesome. We talked about all sorts of things, and the only reason we stopped talking was because it was closing time. There’s an awesome vibe at Viale! Will definitely visit Erica and Will on future trips to Denver.

My friends absolutely loved the scallops with cauliflower. The Italian wedding soup was delicious. The meatballs were very good. The lasagna was not my favorite. Our server was spectacular. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Was a busy service. Nice atmosphere. We walked over from our hotel. Would have had a wait for a table but we requested to be outside because we had our daughter with us so they sat us right away. Not sure how they usually serve there but throughout the night we had about 5 servers back and forth. I had a cab I didn't prefer so I asked for another. They brought a sample and I said I liked it and would like a glass but never received it. We went ahead and ordered a few draft beers from another server just in case the wine was on its way but I didn't arrive. I probably didn't need it anyways ;) I believe it was called pessimist.. very good. I had a pale ale that was good and my husband had a stout I believe that he enjoyed. We ordered the artichoke appetizer - very good. My husband had the lobster ravioli which was very tasty and we ordered the mushroom pizza. More oniony than mushroomy but still good. My daughter tried the spaghetti. She didn't prefer it but she has a very specific taste. I tried it and thought it was very good. It had Italian sausage for the minced meat. Overall a decent experience and good food. I would have preferred maybe just 2 servers to keep it simple and less confusing about whether something was overlooked or already taken care of. Price was decent but I couldn't bring myself to tip 20% . It just felt that they were slightly annoyed by us being there? Maybe it was just me. Like I said they were nice and accommodating and the owner was great, It just felt that way.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was not so good. My lasagna was mostly meat and one noodle. The other dish tasted like you were biting into a lemon it was so lemon flavored and sour. That garlic bread with the marinara and their lemonade was fire. They gave us a piece of tiramisu and it was so strong we didn’t like it.

M
Melissa Meredith

My family of 4 had 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. Both pizzas were great so I have to assume they have pizzas nailed down. I would order their pizza again. At approximately $21/dish we were unimpressed with their pasta. The shrimp in the shrimp scampi was hammered. The ONLY flavor in the dish was lemon. I would have anticipated the basil to be noticable but I never tasted it. The blistered tomatoes were juicy and tasty but only when eaten alone and there were so few it was disappointing. You can see from my picture it was nowhere near as enticing as the pics they have posted. It was an acceptable meal but overall the taste didn't support the price. For some technical things, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. The pizzas came out 10 minutes before the pastas which caused 2 people to be eating while 2 were waiting. The service was very friendly but slow and we were left with empty glasses more than once (all parties). Maybe it was a bad night but I think they are projecting a better image than the experience they are providing. The experience as a whole was not worth the money we spent. I might go back for their pizza and wine Happy Hour deal.

Recent changes to ingredients and recipes? The last two meals here, at one of my fav local restaurants, has me wondering if there has been a change to recipes or lower quality ingredients going into the food. Pizza last time was average vs delicious, and marinara spaghetti tonight had sauce reminiscent of Spaghetti-Os, and a piece of garlic bread that was not up to par. I hope this is just a blip in what is normally delicious food.

Disappointing. Ordered chicken parm for pickup. Who serves chicken parm with alfredo sauce. Bizarre
