Just wow! Never had a shake shack burger but heard their smash burgers were very good and I was blown away. Lacey ends, crispy crust, juicy and tender, just phenomenal. Best burger you could probably get in the airport. Was hot and fresh. Definitely will get one again my god. The chicken sandwich was very delicious too. 4.5/5. I'd recommend. I got both chicken sandwich and shake burger with the peppers.

Food was very good. Self check-in menu wasn't straight forward. The chocolate shake was good, but kinda dark chocolate. Plenty of seating.

The staff was friendly and efficient. My double avocado burger was very good as was the Arnold Palmer. The fries were somehow overcooked but still greasy and lacked salt.

The only thing that can redeem or save this Terminal in the Dallas Airport (travelers packed like sardines, limited seating, hustle and bustle, and stress) is this beautiful Shake Shack. It's green neon sign like a beacon of hope. That being said, it isn't perfect. They do have crispy and seasoned 🍟 fries, tasty 🍔 Burgers (always add 🥓 bacon), and even 🐥 chicken sandwiches. However, the line is long, the wait is too, and the service is so-so. They do have ♿ handicap accessible seating to the right of the vendor and a handy completed board to alert you of your hot food.

The Shake Shack experience - on the go. Look, it's at the airport, so you can't have high expectations. It's chaotic, it's busy and most of the time there is nowhere to sit. But the food still hits the spot, came promptly and still stayed warm on my hike from terminal C to A. I went for the two patty classic and it was great. Just what I needed for my stopover. A gem amongst the rough of other food outlets.

If you're looking for food options at the airport, there are surely worse ways to go than Shake Shack. It's a franchise, and you can more or less know what to expect. Price is reasonable considering it's at the airport, and service was fast enough. My main sticking point comes to the food. It was all hot and freshly made which was great. Unfortunately our meals just weren't great in spite of that. I got the avocado bacon chicken, my girlfriend ordered the sausage egg breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was crazy salty, the chicken was a lot better in my opinion. With that being said, the chicken was dry and flavorless. Also all the toppings were weirdly stuffed on one end of the sandwich. In any case, I'm aware this is a fast food place in an airport. It's great relative to a lot of the other options and you likely won't leave unhappy, if only a bit underwhelmed. Fries and tots and maybe average, wouldn't recommend them.

A great Shake Shack in the Dallas / Fort Worth airport. I'm as surprised as you at this review. I have had Shake Shack on e before and it was pretty mediocre. This however was great. The chicken sandwich was excellent, second in fast food chicken only to Popeyes. The hotdog was also good, my wife enjoyed it more than the hotdog she had in Chicago at a hotdog place, says something. The fries were great and the shake was good. For fast food this was really good. Recommended.

My name was on the board I confirmed my name with the worker after walking back to a table I noticed our fries were missing with our cheese fries. The employee had the audacity to act like I was stealing a second serving. She thought I took off with someone else’s order and thought the sandwich in the bag was the wrong one too. I had to show her my receipt and point out the sandwich and cheese are correct and the fries are the only thing wrong. The being my first experience in Dallas (Texas) has left a horrible taste in my mouth. Guess what they say is true everything is bigger in Texas and that includes horrible attitude and service.

Shroom burger ==> where are the tomatoes? Also, they do not provide a cup of ice water! Will avoid DFW Shake Shack! Their tag line is: “For what it’s worth, It’s not complicated’. They got my order wrong, as well as the customer before me and the customer after me. lol. Over worked and underpaid employees?

First time trying shake shack burgers and what i noticed is that the service is not friendly at all, I did not hear any Welcome words, not sure why. Food tasting was Good i can buy at here again in the future.

There were approximately 8 employees behind the counter working when my wife and I got a couple of burgers. Somehow the order still took forever. There was only one person in like in front of us, so it was not a busy time of day. They also got my order incorrect. The pricing obviously is high that’s because it’s in the airport you can’t change that. Food quality was about on par with other shake shacks which is pretty good.

I waited 20 minutes for 1 milkshake. 7 Aug 2025 ordered at 7:07PM cst and by 7:23 PM was still waiting. I spoke with people next to me that got their food & drinks before me who ordered after me & they showed me their receipt which showed they ordered after me. I asked to speak with the manager. Courtney the manager stated that my milkshake was ready & they called my name. Not only did they not call my name but they didn’t place the milkshake on the counter where I had been standing the entire time nor did anyone ask me if I had been helped or what I was waiting on.

I was told my order would take 5 minutes, yet every customer behind me was served while I was ignored. I was already running late for a flight that was actively boarding, so I asked for a refund multiple times and was dismissed each time. The only response I received was “it’s coming,” while the staff member continued cleaning the counter. When I explained my flight was boarding, there was no urgency or acknowledgment. After asking again for a refund, I was told “it’s right there,” though nothing was produced. The employee then ran to the back and returned saying the burger had cheese on it, despite my order clearly being no cheese. I asked for a refund again. While a fifth customer was being helped, I asked once more, and instead of addressing my request, I was handed a wrong burger yet again. At that point, I said, “Thank you for ignoring my request, I don’t want anything anymore,” returned the bag, and walked away. I had just spent over an hour sitting on the tarmac and then ran through the airport to make a connecting flight from an international trip. While that situation isn’t the staff’s responsibility, basic communication and customer service absolutely are. Something as simple as a meal could have turned my evening around. Instead, I lost both my time and my money. For context, I hadn’t eaten before my 5-hour flight because first class normally includes a meal, this flight did not. That burger would have been my first meal of the day. The food smelled amazing. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability, communication, and basic customer service completely ruined the experience. This location needs better-trained staff who can handle simple requests and difficult conversations. Shake Shack has always been a favorite of mine; sadly, this experience changed that.

We ordered a hot dog and shake. Twenty minutes later we still didn’t have them. After asking twice. Staff was standing around having a good old time. For gods sake, take some pride in your job. I honestly don’t know if we will be served before our flight leaves.

1-9-2026 I ordered from here through Uber Eats, see receipt. I ordered cheese fries and there was no cheese. I ordered small pomegranate boba, there was no boba.

First time trying shake shack and honestly 10/10 would not recommend. The food is terrible, the drinks are flat and warm, and the staff is worse. I’m not sure why the staff thinks it necessarily to pre fill carbonated ice drinks, as if they take long to fill as the customers order them. Several different drinks are just sitting there on the counter with the ice mostly melted and the cup sweaty from how long it’s been there. The food takes too long to come out only for it to be lukewarm.

was really disappointed with this order. The chicken was extremely greasy, with too much oil soaked into the meat and the bun. The breading completely fell apart—breadcrumbs were broken, mushy, and stuck all over the box instead of on the chicken. It didn’t feel fresh or crispy at all, just overly oily and messy. The quality was far below expectations, especially for the price. I hope they improve the breading and oil control, because this was not enjoyable to eat.
