Excellent food ... enjoyable atmosphere... Sitting is highly compromised ... Where there Nov. 6th ( Sunday ) around 11 am ...Most people entered just to pickup... Luckily my daughter and I got 1 of the 3 tables outside... Order to go afterwards took close to 20 minutes to be ready ... SHORTHANDED or TOO MANY PICK UP ORDERS ??

Love this place, I prefer coming here than any other brand name coffee shops. There is something nostalgic about this place, I enjoy my coffee outside in the morning. By the way a lot of locals stop by and is easy to start a conversation with people you know.

This is literally a coffee shop. Light music playing, the soft chatter of discussion. The location is small thus get full quickly. That being said, arriving here when it is not full makes it all the worthwhile. I really enjoy sitting there, with an horchata coffee, and not having much to worry about.

Went in on a whim today and it was so good. Had an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk, Oreo cheesecake, chips, and a turkey bacon cheddar panini (not all at once lol) and it was so good!

My new favorite place to eat, they offer a wide variety of sandwiches and coffee also they are locally owned and the atmosphere is very good. Place is usually not too crowded the food is also very affordable if you are in the area definetly stop by and try them out.

Fan of their food, but the place needs a better set up for people to eat there. Its very uncomfortable.

Delicious made in-house entrees, breakfast, lunch, smoothies and more. Desserts and muffins are absolutely mouthwatering. Prices are surprisingly affordable. Our ham, egg and cheese breakfast croissants were great portions and served cut in half. One could easily be shared especially when ordering other goodies. Locals know about this hidden gem. Small, clean, fast and friendly service.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. The blended drinks are great but the breakfast croissants and dessert selection is what makes it. The inside is small but they have a couple tables outside which is where I usually like to hang out whilst sipping on a mocha. The staff is also friendly and quick.

I love this place. Awesome service. High quality and fresh ingredients. The chipotle chicken panini is one of my favorites! The tuna melt is amazing too! I haven’t tried the coffee yet, but guessing by the quality of the food, I’m sure the coffee is great!

Came after watching a marvel movie at the cinema from across the street. On a hot day and a first timer to this location. The mango smoothie really did the trick. I forgot the cashier who took my orders name. But phenomenal service. They said they were out of mango. But luckily they had one remaining. Served up a refreshing mango smoothie that for sure nuked my taste buds in a good way. Will definitely hit this spot up on the future. It's the little shops like these that deserve the recognition they need.

Hearing the staff greet the regulars. Great vibes here. I ordered white thunder latte, and oat milk macchiato. Both were good. Flavors did have a syrup taste, which was sweet and artificial. Although the notes is coffee I got were nice. Lot of the folks around me had food, and everything looked, and smell delicious. Would really like back and try the food.

It took a while to come out so if you’re on a short lunch break you might want to wait til after. The vanilla late was amazing too! Small shops have the best coffee. Lunch came out to around $15 for a fancy drink and sandwich which is about what I expected. Overall, this was WORTH IT!

The panini’s are delicious! The staff are always friendly and the overall vibe in this little coffee shop is always great. The only problem is the wobbly old seats and tables and the AC is not the greatest.

Last week I find a wonderful cafe shop. I want to recommend it to every people. If you have free time in the afternoon, I advise you can take a book you like to go there and buy a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is very quiet and you can enjoy your time. I think you can relax your body and heart here.

Great little cafe hidden away in the neighborhood. Better than most coffee and donut shops when it comes to their brew but definitely not a coffee specialist. I'd say a nice well rounded place with great food options.

I went this morning to try out this place. I had seen other people post about this place having the LOX bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers and tomatoes and I wanted to try it out. Unfortunately they told me they no longer do this type of sandwich 🥺😥 I tried their regular jalapeno bagel with cream cheese and a caramel ice blended coffee with soy. The bagel was good. Could use more jalapeno peppers and the coffee was great!

Great little spot. Service was great ( they were very accommodating for my wife's allergies letting us look at the labels of done ingredients). Coffee was good, oatmeal was good and gluten/dairy free!

Their food is always to notch, but I give them 4 stars because they still continue to ignore the California’s menu-labeling law. I watch what I eat too stay on a healthy protein diet. I always order the chicken deluxe so I always have to guess the calorie intake, sugar, carbs etc etc it'll be nice if they actually put out the nutritional facts like they are supposed to. Then it's be happy to give it 5 stars.

1st time here. The coffee was absolutely wonderful! The owner was super friendly. We also got a breakfast sandwich, and sat out side to enjoy it. Apparently people have been coming here for years, it's pretty popular. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area.

Food was good, Carmel macchiato was ok, service was subpar. The sandwiches took right at 30 mins to make. Then the order was wrong and didn’t even get an apology. Had to wait even longer to get corrected order. Suggestion for owner…maybe go in the people order. Some of us waited 30+ mins for order while others waited 10 mins of less. So if you are short on time would not recommend.

I really wanted to love this place. My friend comes here all the time and raves about it. The coffee is okay. I got a dulce de leches coffee, and it was nothing but syrup and was not that great. The first time I came here they forgot to make my coffee and I waited 15 minutes for a coffee and a beagle with cream chesse which they did not add. I gave them a second chance. Mistakes happen no biggie. However I went back and they did it again. I waited about 8 minutes and had to remind them to make my coffee. The crazy part was it was not busy at all. I was the only person there. I hope if you go there you have good luck like my friend.

I love this place, great sandwiches and blended drinks but tonight we just ordered sandwiches and I found a hair in mine. My hair is thick, straight, long, and black right now and my husband's is short and red so we know it's neither of ours. My husband and I both went to Downey high and have lived here most our lives so we've eaten here a lot but tonight just completely grossed us out. Even so I'm still giving them 2 stars instead of 1 just because everything here is usually amazing. We're super disappointed 😞

I got the iced matcha and to be honest it was a real disappointment they used the pre made matcha powder with the sugar and just add the milk of your choice it was a real disappointment overall matcha was a 2/10 the place overall need to be updated as you can tell the place been around for a minute and all the furniture are old and tearing apart, the star is very friendly tho that is key to why I gave it a better score, but if you just don’t have anywhere else to go and you live in the area then I guess that would be your spot but personally I would even get starbucks over this.

We got their first before other customers and he game them their order first. Highly unprofessional in any business especially if we have a place to get to. We didn't but if we did that would have made it worse. We ordered sandwiches and salads and he choose to make a heated crosiant and drinks for other people.

The employees are nice and have a smile every time you order. But he atmosphere the owner created when she walked around was disgusting. She’s rude and you can tell she makes everyone uncomfortable.

Did not have the best experience. Staff were not helping me as I waited 10 minutes after my pickup time until someone finally asked what I was waiting for. When I told them I had an online order they asked for my name, they didn’t have anything ready for me. They said they forgot about my order, when they finally gave me my food I can see it was made sloppy with cold food and sauce spilling out of my sandwich. Will not be returning.
