The breakfast was nice and there's something about having steak and eggs. I would suggest not to have high expectations and try to compare the steaks against a steakhouse. The steak was cooked okay the rest of the items like the hash browns, eggs, biscuits and gravy were really good. The price is reasonable for what you get.

The restaurant was very busy for being 9pm at night. The waiter, although rushed, remembered every little detail requested from deciding hash browns or fruit...etc (earlier I was having troubles deciding) the menu has lots of selections. They also have great specials certain days, and reading signage, there is an app you can download for loyalty. I felt bad for the staff because of how rushed they were and I can see they are actively hiring so that's a great sign that they recognize their shortages. The food quality was good except the biscuits and gravy had way too much pepper in it and was inedible. Other than that, great food, great location.

I used to live in Downey for over two decades and I've never had a cold meal at Norms but today was awful. Was cold and no taste to top it off the waiter was not tentave or will not come to see if we were ok or needed more refills. One of the worst customer service in dining. I will not go back.

The food was delicious, the waiter was very friendly, but the cashier had a very bad attitude, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. The cashier was the one to blame for not giving me a tip, if she had took the time to resolve our issue, I could have included the tip. But it was too much trouble for her.

The breakfast was good and I enjoyed it, the server was friendly, the thing that I did not enjoy was seeing my receipt after I got home. I left a generous cash gratuity on the counter for the server and when I got home I noticed on the receipt that they had added a 15% tip to the bill. There are no signs or postings warning you that a 15% gratuity will be automatically added to your bill. They should at least let you know of this practice so I do not end up tipping 35% of my total bill. That is the reason for my 3 stars on the review.

The last time I was here, I was a teenager. So I was excited to visit this Restaurant with my Grandma. My first impression, it was cold in their which wasn't very inviting but we managed to find a cozy warm spot in the back. The service was great! The food came almost right away. I'm really about my steaks and if I had to rate their steak on a scale of 1-10, it would be a five. Their New York steak wasn't as tender as I would have liked it to be. Their dessert was delicious though. Their dinner roll was store bought, cold and hard. I personally will not be coming back but I know they have many more dishes that are worth coming back for.

I've been to a lot of norms, and this one is mediocre. Being hungry at 6 am, we choose norms because we hardly don't like Dennys or Ihop, and we know norms most of the time carry a good reputation. My date ordered the t bone steak and eggs with the steak being under cooked/red and asked for it to be put on the grill a bit longer. The steak came back a bit chewy. It's like the cook in the back doesn't know how to cook steaks. My omlette was okay. Just felt smaller than usual, and the hash browns were small portion. The pancakes were good. Overall, I dont know if we will be coming back to this location. Also felt a bit run down, and the atmosphere felt like I wasn't at a norms restaurant.

Ordered rare steak got well. Server took back brought new. Still well done. Hashbrown black one side. Sunny side up egg burnt bottom. Pancakes came after meal.

If i could give it negative 100 stars I would!!! I got my food delivered and the burger was practically raw!! Im never giving them my business again! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had

If I could give it zero I would. The waitress was rushing us out the door. Mind you it was a monday morning. No one was there. She took out order and as soon as our food came she brought the check. What if I wanted to order more? Never check up on us and when tbe food arrived she asked if we needed steak sauce we said yes and she never brought it. The fact that she brought us the check before we even got our food is very disrespectful. That is not ok to rush people out the door like that what kind of serve is that.
