Good atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and creative. The appetizer was really good. I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit California.

Alright so I went back. And this time was a much different experience. Let's start off with this time we were happily greeted and given the choice of seating this time around. Much better than the last experience already. We decided to sit at a booth/bottle service table. I can't say how great their interior design is. It's absolutely beautiful and perfectly lit in a great setting. The staff was extremely helpful with the menu and very attentive this time around. We ordered Steak tacos Chilaquiles And chicken mole I didn't get to try the tacos. However I did try the steak from the chilaquiles. Marinated and seasoned absolutely perfectly. grilled to perfection. Display was amazing. We ordered a few of their display drinks. Plata o Plomo Taste and display is impressive. I guarantee you won't go wrong with this. Great hint of smoke and cinnamon. Elegant taste and scent. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Not under or overly dry. The mole sauce is definitely on the lower end of richness. It's far lighter than the usual mole. Which I think is good since it won't be too sweet for most. From the moment of walking in, to the moment we got our food and the moment we left. This time it was amazing. Such a wonderful experience. Thanks again to the whole staff at Diosa for this go around being a memorable forever dining experience!

I made a reservation. When I walked inside the hostess informed my table was ready. We were greeted by our waiter. If you haven’t tired the guacamole 🥑 I would recommend to. I tired the Enchiladas Del Mar my food was hot and taste delicious. I also ordered a Cesar salad the dressing is amazing. We also like the bar menu many options.

When you get to the restaurant the valet guys open the door for you. We made reservations and got our table in less than 5 minutes. The atmosphere was great they had good music playing. Our server was very attentive with us. The food did take a while to come out but it was delicious. The drinks were also delicious.

EXCEPTIONAL!! SIMPLY STUNNING!! Woah! Just mind blowing. Gorgeous.!! Made a reservation for me for my birthday. Reservation was 4:30pm although we were seated before then. Upon my arrival we were greeted by a few lovely individuals who appear to be waiters. Very well dressed. kinda “Chic.” The ladies wearing soft pink and black pants the gents have a black on black attire. We were seated next to a window that overlooked a parking lot but not much to see outside BUT INSIDE, LET ME SAY THIS THEY OUT DID THEMSELVES! The chandelier upon entry make you feel like your stepping into a fairy tail. They had something like a candle wall with live candles that were melted so beautifully down to the floor. The decor and overall look of the place had me gazing in awe. The leather seats weren’t all cracked and dented they were full of life. The marbled table was of very good quality, the floor super clean not a speck of food there. The silver ware wasn’t nasty looking with food build up. There’s so much GOOD stuff I have say about this place. But really I don’t want to ruin anyone’s experience. I’ll make it simple though, YES GO! The specialty drinks: fantastic had quite a few drinks so I can’t name them all but yes! 10/10 The food : The fettuccine with chicken. They tossed it in front of us on this giant cheese wheel! The show of them all preparing it table side?! it was exceptional! Like what!!!!!! So cheesy yum. We decided that we were going to go ahead and added Shrimp (extra charge) 10/10. The chicken was cooked perfect wasn’t all dry was white meat grilled strips. Super FRESH large shrimp didn’t taste fishy. Big Hit FANTASTIC !! (Shareable size) came with garlic breads. Not too hard nor too soft. Well toasted and fresh! The service/Waiters/ manager 10/10 -Very nice big smiles, communicated very well, knew the menu! Bathroom: clean free and clear of debris and fully stocked. They WILL BE SEEING ME AGAIN AFTER SUCH A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE!! It was my birthday I got a wonderful surprise giant card (keepsake)! Which I love love love! (Don’t forget to mention it’s your birthday at the beginning of your seating)! Go Have a good time! This is as good as the reviews say it is! Overall 100% satisfaction!

My husband surprised me with a nice dinner for my birthday. This place was so lovely. The decor is beautiful. My husband made reservations, so they sat us quickly. Our server was friendly and the food was delicious! The mashed potatoes and the steak were perfect. I also love the sign they gave me for my birthday. They made my special day extra special and I appreciate it. Will definitely come back!

great place to celebrate your birthday. a bit pricey but well worth it as the atmosphere gets you in a party mood. we ordered the tomahawk steak done medium rare and paired it with the poblano mashed potato and cilantro rice. the service was a lil lagging but i’m still rating this place high as overall our party of 5 had a really great time. will definitely come back

It was my first time here and they did not disappoint! Lisa was our server on the beginning and she was so sweet ! She gave us great recommendations on what to drink and eat. She was even helpful changing our order after we had already put in an appetizer. She took boomerangs for our instagram stories for us ! She was very attentive and she even told us that she may be a while because she was doing a churro cart so she asked us if we needed anything before she did that so we wouldn’t wait so long to me that was just great service. We had George after and he was just as nice ! The vibes here are amazing ! From the moment you walk in you feel like you’re transported to another place. The drinks we had made me feel like I was on a vacation or something. Everything is very instagram worthy which they definitely highlight here. I had a great time and will definitely come back. It was pretty pricey but it was worth the money our food was delicious. We had the crème brûlée which was okay but still everything overall was such a great experience that I look forward to coming back here.

It is a really nicely designed restaurant. Honestly I was just in absorbing the decor for quite a while. The food was truly a unique Mexican twist. I had the steak nachos and they were very good! Like wow! If they weren’t so heavy (I have stomach issues) I would be eating it once a week. I guess you can say it is pricey but that was what I expected because I checked the menu prices beforehand. Sorta reminded me of BH prices. I don’t drink but all the drinks looked spectacular! We sat at the bar because didn’t have time to wait, this was a random find. The bartenders were very nice and attentive!

I booked a reservation for date night for 7:00. We got there about 20 minutes early and sat at the bar. I ordered the Vintage Fashioned which is their version of a smoked old fashioned. The presentation was great as you see in the video, but the drink itself was very good. Definitely a favorite now. Our table was ready promptly at 7. The chips and guacamole was really good and is served with these big round chips. Ours came out hot. I ordered carnitas and she ordered steak. Both dishes were very good, although I tried the steak and preferred that. The creme brulee was very delicious and had a brownie or cookie on the bottom. Just trust me. It's good. Shout out to our server Javier. He was super prompt and attentive 👍🏾 The decor in here is really beautiful. Definitely a spot that you can take her where she can dress up. And the restaurant has lots of beautiful places to snap pictures. Definitely recommend DIOSA. We'll be back.

Diosa will not disappoint! The service food and atmosphere were all on point! The chips and guacamole were perfect and the shrimp Alfredo enchiladas are worth a repeat! My girlfriends had protein bowls for a leaner option and they were delish! I had the Gemini margarita which I highly recommend! They even served up a shoot of champagne and ice cream to celebrate my birthday! I’ll definitely be back!🙌🏾

I loved the atmosphere and customer service. The drinks and food were amazing. Everyone loved their meals. The music was nice. They even had a mother's day background outside for us to take pics in front of and that was the icing in the cake.

The food and atmosphere was amazing!! Aquachile, Camerones a la Diablo were absolutely delicious!! The Tulum Tulum was an absolute hitter! Our waiter was very nice but just wish he would’ve checked on us a little more to fill our drinks up more often. Other than that I’d highly recommend this spot for great drinks & awesome food!

I took my daughter for her 30th birthday. We sat at the bar. Our bartenders Robert and Mike was great. They welcomed us in and answered all of our questions. The food was hot and delicious. This place is a whole vibe.

Update 8/2/25 we also had the pleasure to meet Pricilla I have been Wowed by Priscilla's service. She's so on top of her service and just so down to earth, she checks on you with a smile and just happy to serve!! Priscilla and Diego deserve their recognition, @Diosa I salute you for Staff like Priscilla and Diego We’ve dined here many times because the food and drinks are amazing, but today’s experience stood out thanks to Diego. While previous servers have been fine, Diego went above and beyond. From the moment he welcomed us, his attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for. Thanks to him, we even discovered they serve dessert; something we hadn’t known before! Diego is a true example of outstanding service, and he made our visit especially memorable for my little family and I. We look forward to coming back and hope to be seated in his section again!

Staff was a little disorganized, but food was good and the presentation was an amazing experience. Keep in mind if you get the pasta it's good for 2 people so it's about $100+ for the plate. Margaritas are strong and with some you get almost 2 servings.

We ate here yesterday for Lunch. Food was great and the service was good as well. I really enjoyed my Enchiladas Colorado. Look forward to coming again..I just wish they opened earlier during the week but we will just have to come on Fridays during our lunch break.

Diosa is an absolute vibe — from the decor to the food to the drinks, everything was on point. The food was excellent and the drinks were top-tier. Major shout-out to the bartender, Anthony (but he goes by Tony) think that's his name because he really did his thing behind that bar. I told him the drinks were so good that he needed to go to AAA😂😂😂. And our waitress Emily was amazing — she knew the menu so well and helped us pick out some great options. Plus that happy hour menu?? 🔥🔥🔥 straight fire. I’m already ready to go back again!

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a nice place to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. My co-worker suggested this place and I'm glad I listened. The ambiance is lovely, food amazing, staff is fantastic and they even gave us this cute keepsake with our names on it and the occasion. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely anniversary dinner!

This restaurant is amazing. Well not only is the decor and ambiance stunning, but the food was delicious! I had the chicken tacos, street corn, chips and guacamole, and everything was made to perfection. It was so tasty. And the staff is unbelievably attentive and friendly. I would come back here anytime.

This place aesthetician was beautiful. The service was superb and the food was well proportioned and delicious. It reminded me of the famous Javier's but I would say I enjoyed Diosa's much more overall. Perfect place for a nice romantic dinner or just girlfriends night out!! Loved it.

First time here, and the food was amazing! The Steak Nachos and Chicken Quesadilla were super filling and definitely shareable. We also ordered the Street Corn and we needed to bring it home because we ate so much. Honestly, their happy hour or Goddess Hour amazing and our server. Lacy was so friendly. Her service was quick and easy as they had just opened, however once she went home, it was hard to get a to-go box where I literally had to ask three employees and ultimately a manager brought one over. That was annoying as I didn’t feel valued as a customer. It was also annoying to see a 3% surcharge on the check which states that it is “to help cover rising costs”. I would like to see an increased food price rather than 3% of the entire check. They had great music and it was a cozy vibe until 7pm where they got the dinner rush. People were all over the place and servers were rushing drink displays back and forth. That was my time to head out. I might give this place a try in the near future.

DIOSA in Downey is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful food and beautiful people. The food is nicely done which includes traditional Mexican dishes with carefully thought out ingredients. However, it could use less salt. The drinks are awesome with an ample selection of tequilas and mezcal. The service is young and beautiful but falls short making you repeat your order and requests.

Waitress really attentive staff was also very nice to wat issues we had empanadas were good and overall the restaurant was very nice it was a nice place to have your event

The appetizers were great, but can't say the same for the service. Just awful. The bar, however, was most entertaining. Great bartender! Had fun watching all the exotic drinks he was making. Ordered a few.😉🥳👌

We came to dinner to try the new restaurant in town. The girls were really sweet and helpful. Food was delicious, prices are what you would pay at Hollywood or BH. They offer valet parking $10. Our reservation was at 8:15pm, we didn’t get seated until 8:50pm that was disappointing as there is a reason why you make reservations. Other than that everything else was good.

I really liked the place, it's the first time, but I'll put it on my favorites place . The food was delicious, the service was good. The only thing I lik! Love my coco Chanel daisy e is that they sat us in a very dark area. Next time I'll ask if we can sit in another more open area. I did not like the service that they served the food together with the entrance and we could not enjoy our camarones in aguachile ! Love my coco Chanel margarita

Good food, a bit overpriced IMO. I would recommend the waiter advise people that the water is NINE dollars per (glass) bottle. Happy hour margaritas tasted great and were a good value. The empanadas were delicious but 2 for $22 is VERY steep. On the menu they conveniently leave out that you only get two for an order. We enjoyed our dinner there but probably won’t return anytime soon.

While the place is beautiful and has a very cool vibe the food was disappointing. Over price for what we got. We paid 130 dollars for a cheese pasta experience what a bust! The chicken was horrible tasted like rubber. Parking was horrible it's in a shopping center the location doesn't fit the atmosphere. The drinks were good I can say that and the service was outstanding. Go for drinks 🍸

Slow service, good food but overpriced. Loud atmosphere if you're looking for an intimate dinner, look elsewhere. Great if you like posting on social media. Weird if you don't do that and just want to eat and drink without that.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, we had about 2 hours to have lunch together and unfortunately we did not have a good experience with service. Our reservation was at 12:45 and we arrived there at 12:46. We got sat down and got offered water. Almost 40 minutes passed until the hostess approached us to asked if we’ve been attended. “I said no, for nothing “ she took our order and came back with just one of our coffees and still took another 10 minutes to get my fiancés coffe. From there it had already been almost an hour when we finally got our food. Once we got our food our server finally came to see us and ask how was our food. Food was really good so no complaints there. We were running out of time so I had to go ask the hostess for a desert menu, a box to go, place an order for dessert and ask for the check all at once cause I didn’t want to be run out of time. Once we were served our dessert we had no space on our table cause no plates were taken away. I don’t know about other people but I think that going to a place like DIOSA is to also fulfill an aesthetic side of a good picture and that was not possible with so many plates on our table. I’m leaving some pictures as a reference of our timeline there. Also the place was almost empty only a big party, two guys before us and a couple that came about 30 min after us. They both were attended to much faster than us. Overall great beautiful place, good food but we got the worst service 😔.

The food was okay but over priced. Music was too loud unable to have conversations at the table. Service was bad. Kitchen slow. We got our well done steaks, 2 of them and my wife's food came 15 minutes later. Our food got cold because as gentlemen we waited for my wife's food. The nonalcoholic drinks were horrible. Tasted bitter. Non alcoholic does not mean you just remove alcohol from the recipe. You have to change up the portions of the other ingredients to make it taste decent. Took 15 minutes to get desserts. Chips too big to scoop chunky guacamole and had to ask for more chips to finish the guacamole. Spent a lot of money for a horrible experience.

Excellent food, good drinks and a fun vibe. The only negative thing I have to say is there is a 3% surcharge that I was not aware or expecting when I received the check. For that reason I’m giving it two stars and I won’t be coming back.

This place is stunning! The drinks are amazing! Last night was my first time ever here. We were greatly greeted at the entrance but everything took a turn when our waiter came to great us. He treated us with no warmth. There was not “welcome” it was more like “what do you want” type of vibe.. what I ordered was beyond salty and I literally woke up in the middle of the night to throw up. The drinks were delicious. Over all, if the service and food would’ve been as amazing as the drinks and vibe, I easily would’ve gave this place a 5 star review.

Went there to celebrate my mom's bday. The service was okay, but the food extremely overpriced for what we got. You can easily get better quality and tastier than this. I guess people go there for the atmosphere. Other than that I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I took my family on a Wednesday for mothers day. I had a reservation and was seated promptly. Our server was very nice but he did have a lot going on and that is understandable as it was busy. We did have to wait some time to get our Oder taken but that was not the only hiccup. I will say that I didn’t have the highest expectations regarding the food. But EVERYTHING was great. Form the appetizers, main dishes, and deserts. Our service was great it was pricey for the $700 bill for 4 of us.if you don’t want to wait long then make a reservation.

This is my experience I went on my birthday to this place called Diosa it is a restaurant on Downey on Firestone Boulevard on 11/8/25 I order one drink one tequila shot the tequila Call Azul Añejo it is insane when I got the bill for one shot of tequila $134. It is insane so and the food is not that great either. I was so disappointed the restaurant looked pretty new very elegant. I guess they had to charge a lot of money in the drinks to pay for their monthly rent, but it is not the customer responsibility to pay that much for one drink. I just wanna share this with everybody. Just me and my daughter the Bill came out with drink and food just about under $400 my daughter had one drink and I have the super tequila cold Azul haha 😡

So this was my first time coming to this place the food was good the price a little to high if you ask me for the amount of food u get the service was horrible my cousin made reservation for her birthday for 8:00pm when we arrived we was told we still have to wait because other people who made reservations was late (so it pushed our time back) “but she had reservations”🙄 we waited 2 hours outside waiting to be seated and if you ask me I wanna say it was because we were black it was other parties who came after us and they was immediately seated who was Hispanic we finally got seated after waiting for two hours so it 10pm by now it’s no complementary chips and salsa you have to pay for that. You also have to pay for water. Which is crazy to me we ordered our drinks first took about 20 minutes for that to come out and our food about another 30/45 minutes it seems like the took their time to seat and serve the black people by the time our food did come out the restaurant was half empty and looked like it was closing I will not be visiting this location again horrible customer service and a horrible experience

This place is overhyped and not worth it. The FOH staff were extremely rude. Even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was nearly empty, they seated us at a small table in a dark room. When I asked for a booth, the waitress manager said they were reserved and only for parties of four. Yet a couple was already sitting in one. Minutes later, another couple was moved from a small table to a booth. Thankfully, a different waitress came to our table and I asked her and she actually was kind and helpful and moved us to a booth. My overall experience here is 3/10. The food is good, but not the drinks, FOH service and environment is not the vibe. I don’t recommend this place. There are better restaurants out there than this.
