This place is such a cute vibe and the food was incredible. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer and were so confused when it came to the table because all of the dipping bread is laid out on top of the cheese dip but it was absolutely incredible. My son got the mock colada and that was also insanely delicious. Will definitely be back.
It was my first time going and it was so good! I got the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and added their house made sausage. Have to go back! We got the Sexy Fries for an appetizer and I enjoyed the garlic confit and truffle oil with herbs and Asiago! Yum! For a drink I washed it down with Reed’s Real Ginger Ale. I highly recommend OAK Wood Fire Kitchen!
Great Pizza and wonderful appetizers (meatballs with bread was my fav) I had the Salmon and it was great. Good flavor, cooked perfectly and presented well. The steak salad was a hit. The steak was very tender, with great flavors.
This was such a great place to eat after a big day of skiing and looking to unwind. The beet salad was wonderful and we ordered the barbecue chicken pizza as well, which was great. Service was excellent and the vibe was spot on.
Absolutely incredible! We ordered the corn dip, goat cheese, and Brussels sprouts as well as the hot honey pepperoni and ranch jalapeño pizza. We couldn’t decide which dish was better! Service was fast and staff was very friendly. The ambiance and cleanliness to top it off! Definitely coming back!
I enjoyed our visit to Oak Wood Fire Kitchen. The pizzas we ordered were good and the texture of the pizza crust was excellent. We shared a couple of appetizers too. The street corn dip and the fries were both great and fun to try. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and we had good service too.
This is a great little data spot in Draper. It was pretty crowded so be ready for a wait on the weekends. But the food was super yummy! I really loved the sandwich and hot honey pizza. The fries were perfectly crisp too. It is really filling, and the salad was also tasty. We look forward to coming back and trying their other options!
THE PERFECT DAY! We had our small ceremony and wedding luncheon at Oak Wood Fire Kitchen and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish Ian and his team were incredible. We wanted a location that looked beautiful, served amazing food and all we had to do was show up. When I first inquired about hosting a private event at the restaurant Ian took the time to meet me in person, show me the restaurant, give me a basic idea of how the day would proceed, what was included, pricing, time... After deciding to move forward he was available via email confirming guest count, layout, menu, he even gave an option for wedding cake even though it's not typically on the menu, he supplied microphones, changed the marquee to celebrate us. He went above and beyond in every aspect. Day of, the restaurant was pristine. They had everything set up and ready for us. It was everything we wanted and I am so grateful for Ian and him amazing staff (a special shout out to Tyler who was a true angel and checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was running smoothly and to also say the nicest things about our wedding). The ceremony was simple and lovely. It was followed by drinks, appetizers, pizza and salad and dessert. Every. Single. Dish. Was. Delicious. Thank you to the team for boxing us up some pizza to go. I'll say it again, everything about the day was perfect. We have a perfect spot to come celebrate our anniversary every single year! Thank you again!
Wedge salad was on point with a bonus of avocado, really adding to the salad. Papa Juan pizza did not disappoint! A small, chipotle warm heat and balanced flavor...great pizza and highly recommend.
Came in for dinner, we had been here before it’s just been awhile. It’s a fun cute restaurant. We looooved the sexy fries which are Parmesan fries with aioli sauce to dip in!!! The serving is huge and these are just the best fries ever. Split a pizza and it was extremely tasty. We opted to sit outside, there are three tables to do so. It’s tight but we always enjoy getting outside. Service was great and our server was super sweet and on top of it.
We had a lovely dining experience at OAK Wood Fire Kitchen. Bright and lively vibe, quick service and tasty food. Our table shared the baked goat cheese, margarita pizza and roasted beet salad. Everything was delicious, well plated, good portion size and priced reasonably. I really enjoyed my berry mule mocktail too.
We really enjoyed our dinner at OAK! The service was quick and efficient. All of our drinks and food were excellent. The baked goat cheese was really something! Loved the hot honey pizza, the beet salad, and also the sexy fries, wow! Will definitely be back!
This place is a gem! The vibe was nice and casual, and we started salivating when we walked in the door from this creamy garlic aroma. We ordered the fried cheese curds w/ marinara, Street Corn Dip, Meatballs and Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza. I will dream about the cheese curds tonight. The meatballs were flavorful and juicy and the bread that came with half the dishes reminds me of a fluffy Naan bread. 10/10. WILL COME AGAIN!
I had the baked goat cheese and The Hidden Valley pizza - both were phenomenal!
I saw this place on ig.. so I thought to give it a try... wasn't really expecting a lot but everything we ordered was oh so good. We had the goat cheese, crembrulee French toast and their steak and eggs. It was a busy Saturday but we were seated immediately. Food wait wasn't long and it was served hot and fresh. The waitress was constantly checking on us but wasn't overbearing which I absolutely love. Will definitely come back to try their pizza and drinks! Hopefully, taste will be amazing as well.
Our first time here and we loved it! Great kids menu and Santa even came to visit. A fun, family friendly place with a a lot of variety on the menu.
We purchased the wedge salad, the ricotta meatballs, and the hot honey pepperoni pizza. Kudos to the waitress for asking if we wanted to split the salad. I do not like salads, but I would have eaten the whole thing. There was a lot of flavor in the salad and it all blended together perfectly. The homemade buttermilk ranch dressing was thick and creamy and yet light.
Great place for a nice lunch or dinner with your friends or dates. I really liked their pizza and all three were good. The atmosphere is good, the interior is awesome, and the staff are very nice. One downside is that the lighting in the bathroom was too dark but other than that, very nice place for food at reasonable price.
Went to Oak for the first time tonight. And I have to say: THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! Start to end! The hostess had a huge smile and was very welcoming, the food was great, service really good, and the churros? Omg! The best! I’m Brazilian so I know what a great churros taste like, and theirs is filled with cream. We first ordered the Oak Bread and my husband decided to change that for the Cauliflower. The pizza chef was super sweet and thought she trashed the ticked, but was our sweet server who took it out. But they compliment that for us anyway. Simple gestures that show guest appreciation. We met chef Ian, and we talked to him for an hour. Very humble guy, super sweet and gave great hospitality! We shared a bunch of stories, like surf, surf spots, food, and a bunch of laughs. Never had such a nice experience in a restaurant in Utah like that. Working in this industry I appreciate even more! All the success to Oak, Chef Ian and their team! I live close by, so I am going to become a regular! Love it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Seen this one in a Local Instagram post. I was not disappointed, fantastic service really good food. Lovey place. Little bit of wait for the food, but well worth it. The pizza is so tasty and delicious and the beef ragonoff is so good, meat is nice and tender and the sauce and noodles are nice and creamy and wonderful flavor. The corn dip is really good, but would have loved see homemade corn chips with the bread that came with it. The bread was really good. I also got the meatball appitizer with the wood bread. So yummy. We also ordered the bread pudding and churro desserts, both were good. Definitely going to also take advantage of the gift card offer!
I have found my new food obsession. I ordered the Roasted beet salad and saying is the most incredible salad I have ever eaten still doesn't feel like I'm doing it justice. The dressings blend with the goat cheese and all of the fruit and beets are perfect. The Baked goat cheese and bread are also just so delicious. Very very quality food. I even ordered for delivery and everything was perfect. Go here, it's worth it.
I’ve driven past this place for a while now and have always wanted to try it but was hesitant due to the ratings. I decided to stop in for a late brunch on Sunday with our party of 6 and I’m glad we did! Atmosphere: Small establishment but beautiful modern decor Service: 5/5 our waitress Mallory was awesome and attentive. Food: Baked Goat Cheese with the Naan was delicious! The marinara perfectly balanced the goat cheese and that bread was nice and warm and garlicky Pizzas: Mediterranean, Hot Honey Pepperoni, The Hidden Valley- all were delicious. Nashville: Doesn’t look like much but it’s packed with flavor Biscuits & Gravy: Dense delicious biscuits and the sausage gravy was great. The eggs literally doesn’t need anything. They were perfectly cooked. Beignets: Really enjoyed these, would be nice if they offered different sauces like chocolate, and raspberry instead of just strawberry jam bit these were delicious. Overall, I would definitely come back and try the other dishes they offer.
We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and Margarita Pizza. Both were just perfect with a crunchy crust that was soft in the center. Service here is very good.
If you go here without getting the baked goat cheese then I will be shaking my head. It was- okay honestly no words for it. IT WAS SO GOOD. And it comes with their oak bread and let’s just say we definitely ordered a second serving of oak bread. I ordered the margherita pizza and was so so impressed. The flavors blended perfectly together and it was just the right amount of crispiness. The other pizza I tried was the P & A and if you’re adventurous, you’ll like it!! Because this place is so good, be prepared to have a bit of a wait. it’s that good though so don’t let the wait stop you.
Absolutely would recommend this place to everyone! The food was incredible, the employees were so kind, and the dessert was to die for.
Fantastic food, vibes, and service. We got on the waitlist and our table was ready in 30 minutes. Serving sizes were great. We’ll definitely come back to try different things.
We went there for brunch. And it was absolutely fantastic .steak And eggs were wonderful, the Pizza was wonderful. That bread is to die for and the potatoes are just out of this world. the moco loco was just.... words, can't describe how good it was. the service was excellent. And Maddie was our server, and she did an excellent job. We were very grateful for this place. We're coming back, they deserve ten stars
The food, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. My wife got the hamburger and said it may her new favorite burger. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich and loved it. Will definitely be going back.
I highly recommend the goat cheese and corn dip appetizers, they are delicious. The salmon was amazing! Our original 2 hour wait took 30 minutes and the communication was very efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to my family and closest friends.
Friendliest staff. We LOVED the calming ambiance and aesthetic vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious with more than generous serving sizes. We will definitely return and recommend!
Came here with a group of 8 for dinner and it was a great experience! Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. Had the blueberry mojito and the elote pizza and they were both delicious. The kitchen accidentally added an ingredient to the pizza that I had requested to be taken off, so they ended up giving us both pizzas which was so nice and unexpected. It got a little noisy for dinner on a Thursday night, but it was still fantastic and I'd definitely come here again!
This place was delicious! We had the meatballs and a salmon and chicken salad. Loved their salmon, it was perfect cooked and seasoned heavenly! The light citrus dressings was the perfect complement to the charred flavorful protein! The service and the atmosphere was okay, not anything special. Great place to stop for lunch.
The pizzas were delicious and they had excellent service. My husband and I went on a date night. We were seated right away. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The pizzas were a little pricey compared to other restaurants of the same caliber but there were delicious.
Let me first say the hot honey pizza is delightful. The honey is not hot, but the pizza is crafted extremely well. Sauce is mild but can also shine on its own, the dough was cooked perfect, and the pepperoni was great as well. Wish it was all great, but some things weren’t. Water is served at room temperature and no options for ice. Not something I personally dislike, but it would be nice if the water was chilled Our waiter never checked on us during the meal to see if we needed anything else and it took 20 minutes to get the check after we had finished eating. Seemed a little unattentive. The meatballs were dry but the bread that came with them was great! Wouldn’t get them again. Came with a friend who got the avocado burger and he said there were too many flavors and he couldn’t really taste the burger itself. Not a bad spot if you want some dinner, but not something I’d probably come back for. Wanted to love it!
Surprisingly good for the strip mall vibes outside. Cool interior design, love the chairs, wallpaper, lighting, kitchen, service. Margarita was 5/10, raspberry gin was 8/10. Oak burger was their signature and it was a 6/10 Dry and too salty. Pizza was okay, not cooked enough, ratios not dialed in. If you charge 19 for a burger it should be more dialed in same with pizza. Music was very off for atmosphere, too cold as well. Love the live plants and the people inside were vibes. Too much of an echo but they did already have some elements to mitigate that.
Great service, fun vibe, this is a solid choice for dinner. I had this chicken sandwich, it was good but I think I prefer Houston chicken. The fish tacos (special of the day) were great, good heat with a great pairing of textures and spices. The fries were okay, house salad okay, the goat cheese was amazing...the naan bread made it so good!
Food was delicious but the restaurant was too hot to comfortably enjoy the meal, the service staff disappeared for extended times, the bathrooms were clean but did not have changing space in the men's bathroom. Might be a great place for takeout.
Highly recommend the Roasted Goat Cheese, Street corn dip and the Papa Juan pizza! We were also pleasantly surprised and LOVED the chicken pot pie! Seriously flavorful! Hot honey pepperoni pizza was just ok. Overall great food and excellent service!
Smaller size restaurant but absolutely love this place. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is awesome. The service is great. Can be a bit pricey, but for wood fired pizza, it's worth it!! And the baked goat cheese starter is delicious. It's a must get!!
This was so close to a 5 star restaurant. I love the atmosphere and the service was good. It took a bit longer to get our food than I'd expected but our waitress was great. The Elote pizza was delightful and the sexy fries were good. However I felt the Nashville sandwich and the house salad that it came with could use a little work. The salad came with a lemon vinaigrette that definitely didn't taste like it had any lemon in it, which was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken on the sandwich was pretty dry and probably overdone. I liked everything else about the sandwich though! Overall I'd be back but would get something different.
The place was cute! The decorations were for Valentines day. The staff was knowledgeable and quick. It was a laid back vibe with specialty items on the menu. The pizza was delicious. I had a hot honey pepperoni and it was both sweet and spicy. Definitely recommend giving it a shot!
I’ll start with the positives. The biscuit is really good. The sausage was good too. Unfortunately, the rest wasn’t great. In particular, the service. Extremely slow. Our server only stopped by our table a couple of times. And the food took a very long time. The worst part is that even though the restaurant has a great atmosphere, it was very dirty. They tried sitting us at a table and chairs that had crumbs and strands of guests’ hair on them. Normally I don’t mention stuff like that in reviews, but when we pointed out the problem, the staff acted annoyed. No apology or anything. Acted like it was normal and we were inconveniencing them. They took us to another table and that had crumbs on it too. The rest of the food was mediocre. The French toast was very dry. I’ve had the burger before and it was much better the first time—but that was about a year ago. Not sure if this place is under new management or what.
I was around the area and stopped by. The place is really pretty and nice atmosphere, but the food was okay overall, and the service was friendly and attentive. I was excited to try the churros but they fell short, they had a bit of a frozen taste and didn’t seem as fresh as I thought. Still, it was an experience giving this place a try!
It’s a super cute place! I’m not sure if the people working here are just a little scatterbrained today but we ordered a drink that they forgot to bring. They did put it on our check that I had them take off. And my husbands burger patty came back burnt, and my pizza was burnt. At first I thought it was just the top that got a little crispy so I didn’t mind. But the bottom of it was burnt as well. I had to go up to another waitress to ask for some spices for my pizza because I couldn’t get our servers attention. It wasn’t very busy, there was one group of 3 women. A group of two ladies nearby, and one more group of 3 people. Two out of the three different groups were already eating when we got seated. I still tipped our waitress, we all have a bad day now and then but I probably wouldn’t vote to come back. The food was okay, I got a margarita pizza. My partner got an avocado burger. Both were okay but for $40 it was a little unsatisfying. When we paid we weren’t offered a box but we didn’t ask for one either. Other reviews are great, maybe the people on shift were just having an off day. I did notice there were menu options for gluten free though.
Oak Wood has great pizza, and the baked goat cheese is a hit every time. However, their table management and wait times are so bad, I’ll think twice before coming back. Despite getting on the waitlist, we waited nearly two hours for a table of four. The entire wait there were open tables that were being saved for reservations more than an hour out. It truly would have been faster to order take out when we entered. The entire restaurant nearly turned over before we were seated. Once we were seated, we were rushed out with the wait staff clearing our plates the moment we were done using them (while others sat at their table for much longer). It’s great pizza, but order ahead or go for lunch - or dedicate 98% of your night waiting for a table and 2% to eating pizza (if they give you enough time to finish it).
Wanted to try this place because of the reviews. First red-flag, the menu is all over the place. However, the place was hopping. It was solid busy so they must be making the local crowd happy. I ordered the loco moco (I’m a connoisseur). Definitely not the best loco moco I’ve had. Suggestions for the chef… add caramelized onions and be careful not to overcook the eggs [mine were way overcooked]. Nice location but I won’t be coming back.
The other day took a coworker out for lunch we walked in ordered pizza and waited. Service okay the atmosphere was great. HOWEVER THE PIZZA was the worst. My pizza just a simple margherita pizza I could not even eat. Ended up paying $65 for the meal and I didn’t even eat lunch. Hope this is helpful. I was extremely disappointed.
As when we were waiting for the waitress to take our bills, we were approached by another staff member to "wrap it up". This is the first time we were approached about a time limit. We pointed to our bills waiting to be paid and quickly left thereafter. Please inform consumers of a dining time limit prior to seating! It was a brunch with a group of friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. We were there for about an hour and a half. Otherwise the food was delicious!
Sadly this pizza was not only that great it was burnt and expensive. We ordered two pizzas and both were burnt on bottom - and the GF pizza was really mediocre. 50 bucks for two pizzas ! They charge 5 extra or GF. Do yourself a favor and go to Settebellos downtown SLC- you will never go anywhere else
If you get the Nashville chicken sandwich… cut it in half and make sure it’s cooked. I sent it back and they are literally argued with me that it’s cooked. The server said they looked at it and it’s cooked. I beg to differ. I can’t believe this was a fight!!!
