We got the Yellow curry and Panang curry. Both were seriously amazing! The spice level was mild which we appreciated.
Excellent food. A lot smaller than we expected. They only have three tables spots and most people just use this plsce for take-out. Food was very fresh and great portions. I will definitely return!
Cool little hidden gem. The yellow curry and pad Thai are both delicious. Nice little chill spot. Owner seems really cool.
This might be my new favorite restaurant! The food was incredible, and the portion sizes were large. Overall an amazing experience. I will definitely be returning here often!
Amazing that food. Good portions, nice people run by father and son it looked like. Got the panang curry, Mongolian beef and pad Thai. I recommend the panang curry for sure and other two were good too. Ill definitely be back.
Place is a hidden gem in an area without great thai options. One thing I love is how much more authentic a lot of their dishes taste over bigger restaurants. Nothing is overly sweet and fake, with a few dishes really standing out (their crispy beef is so damn good). Drunken noodles and even the wontons feel uniquely good compared to most spots. The pad thai is the only thing, strangely, that Im not a huge fan of. Made with some kind of peanut base rather than tamarind - still not bad. We always order to go, and the food is always fresh. Glad they are in Herriman.
Best take out around! We love the yellow curry and the Thai fried rice, but will definitely be trying more on the menu.
Always delicious. Their curries are a nice consistency with a generous helping of vegetables. Every dish is big enough to share. I tried the curry soup for the first time yesterday, and it was easily two meals.
Only a few tables to sit down and eat but the food is sooo good. Just take and go! We get the yellow curry and pad Thai. It’s so good! They need to move to a bigger place so u could stay and eat if u want
Fresh and generous portions. I do not care for spicy so I've had fried rice, wide flat noodle chow mein and Pad Si Ew. All fresh and full of flavor. Best Thai ever. The bad reviews I've seen are weird and phony. This is very good Thai food.
This place makes DELICIOUS food, but do yourself a favor and PAY WITH CASH!!! I had an unexpected bill my first time visiting, and I refuse to pay the 4% Clover fee EVER AGAIN😔 Something important to know is that this isn't necessarily a sit-down restaurant since everything is served in to-go containers, even if not ordering to-go. Besides that, I absolutely adore the green curry they serve MM MMM👌
So so good. I consider myself a Thai food snob and this Thai hits. We have now been here an embarrassing amount of times and have tried a lot of things… But our favorite is the yellow curry (sweeter than most we’ve had, but man is it yummy) and Pad Si Ew noodles. My children ask for this daily.
Transplant from SoCal where food is pretty tough to beat from Mexican to Thai to donuts and everything in between. Haven’t had much luck finding places not only in Herriman or nearby until now! I loved the pad si ew the noodles had so much flavor! Everything overall was rich in flavor! Looking forward to trying more of their dishes! If you’re on the fence about it just try it. Promise you won’t regret it
I recently tried the yellow and red curry noodles at Lucky Thai, and it was a delightful experience. The curry was perfectly balanced with a mix of spicy and sweet flavors, and the noodles were cooked to perfection, maintaining a great texture. The dish was beautifully presented, with fresh herbs and vibrant colors that made it look as good as it tasted. The staff were incredibly friendly and ensured that our meal was enjoyable from start to finish. What stood out to me was the use of unique spices that added an extra layer of depth to the curry. I would highly recommend these curry noodles to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Hidden Gem of Flavor in Our Town I’ve now had the pleasure of dining at this small, family-owned Thai restaurant twice, and each visit has left me impressed. It’s rare to find a place around here that offers such fresh, flavorful food and generous portions. The restaurant itself is cozy, impeccably clean, and exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with the staff always making sure you’re taken care of. But what really stands out is the food. Every dish I’ve tried has been bursting with authentic flavors, from perfectly balanced spices to the freshness of the ingredients. I’ve had the chance to try two different dishes, and both were fantastic—large portions that left me satisfied but still craving more. If you’re looking for a great meal and friendly service, this spot is a must-visit. It’s refreshing to have a place like this in town, and I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!
Lucky Thai in Herriman is hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in Utah! We ordered Thai yellow curry, the crazy fruit mix drink and mango sticky rice. All were so authentic and delicious. The veggies and ingredients are freshly cut which makes such a huge difference in the quality of the food. The owners are so sweet and really care about their customers. They took the time to get to know us and made the experience feel like a real home cooked meal with friends! I’m so grateful to have such an amazing local restaurant open up in Herriman. We’ll be regulars - highly recommend you support them!
I lived in Thailand and I rate every Thai restaurant based on their น้ำตก (beef waterfall) and แกงมัสมั่น (Massaman curry) and this place is top tier. The portion sizes are great! People might say this is a take out only but this is exactly what a normal Thai restaurant looks like and how people go and sit in a restaurant. Try it out peeps!
I have eaten at lucky Thai 5 or 6 times now, and until today my experiences have been great. Today however, service was slow and the chicken in both curries seemed to be very overcooked with a jerky like texture. I’m hoping this is just an off day.
Nice little place, but not a sit in restaurant as there isn't a lot of space to sit. But we don't mind take out. My low stars are because the yellow and red curry we ordered were so incredibly sweet!!! We couldn't even finish it, which is frustrating considering what they charge, and the upcharge for using a credit card. We will not be going back, Thai curry isn't usually supposed to be so sweet like that. I had a major sugar rush after eating what I could stomach. But you hate to waste it after the money you spent. 🤷 It was a disappointment, we were so excited to get curry and try the place so close to home. Next time we will travel to get the real stuff.
We just get order and not really happy about the price we get pay … the menu on the wall price difference then u get cost We’re or the basil fried rice with shrimp and pad Thai with chicken We have pay more extra for different rice on the menu without to explain On the menu they say basil fried rice 12.99$ and u want shrimp u have pay 3$ extra BUT WE PAY 13.51$ and 4.16$ for shrimp On the menu they say Pad Thais chicken 13.99$ BUT WE PAY 14.55$ So only different couples dollars and it’s not bigger deal but don’t make Sense when u cost customer diff then your menu without say anything… not happy about they treat customers like dumb …
