Great selection of spices, and the foods I just cannot get elsewhere.
DELICIOUS FOOD ,CLEAN ,FRESH AND EXCELLENT SERVICE The first impression always is the most important and this place totally have it.From the nice and warm welcome by the owner in the entrance and the rest of the team. here is how I discover this place ,I was looking for henna and I found the rest of the store so impressed clean organized a lot nice and stuff from everywhere now I been buying clothes, personal products and a beatiful and unique jewelry. And now they have inside a little UNIQUE INSIDE RESTAURANT I just in Love of the samosas and the chiken birieyani and of course the fresh mango lassi juice . For a quick bite or just meet with friends is perfect listen middle East music and a fresh place.. totally I recomend this place.
Delicious, freshly made samosas. Wonderfully friendly service and a fantastic selection of groceries and spices. Literally everything you could need for any kind of South Asian cuisine you plan on cooking. If you're looking for household products from that part of the world, they have those as well. Basically everything you could want. Things I recommend are the Rani branded fruit beverages, they taste like my teenage years growing up in inner city Birmingham, England, the mango one especially! The refrigerated sweets are a great occasional treat, fantastic to bring to parties as a unique contribution, especially the gulab jamun and jalebi. Then there are the spice pastes. Patak's is the classic brand, but Deep has some pretty good stuff too. Please just support these great people in keeping this fantastic place a success, it's a place I love!
I really like Qaderi Store. They have variety of good things from Pakistan and India that I can easily find only at this store. My favorite part of the store is the Restaurant with great food specially the female owner. She is nice, friendly and honest. The other two ladies are also very nice and friendly. I appreciate their contribution to American society by bringing diversity through their business.
During my stay in Slc I had a chance to have my lunch at this restaurant. From customer service to food every thing was spot on. Its a must try when you're in slc.
Very delicious food in restaurant and grocery store has a lot of stuff.
Great little hole in the wall. Grocery store is clean and has a huge variety of spices. I was delightfully surprised to find a restaurant inside. We ordered a mango lassi and chai for bevies. Then samosas, garlic naan, and tikka masala. Hands down the best samosas in town! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
Honestly love this little store. I grew up eating middle eastern food and I come here to buy my ingredients as well as find great Pakistani ingredients to try out. The workers here are always super fricken nice to me which in and of itself is enough to make me return. I have celiac so I’ve never had the food here but it smells delicious and they sell samosas at the counter 🤤
I’ve been coming here for quite sometime. (Many years) They always have everything I need/ want! They are always kind, have excellent customer service care, and they are conveniently located. I love the food here also! Everything is reasonably priced. Thank you for your many decades of service!
Such a wonderful place with amazing owners. Stopped in for a chai and samosa. The chai is delicious dood pathi. Owner kindly gifted us some gulab jamun as well. Will definitely be back - an SLC gem!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD! The most authentic Pakistani/Indian food that you can find in Utah! We are huge fans and crave this cafes food on a regular basis!! We honestly think that this chef is a magician, along with making masterpieces she’s super sweet, prompt. Can’t find this kind of service anywhere!
I love this store and the food at the back of the store! I ordered quite a few different dishes and pizza and they were so perfect. It tasted so much like home. The lady in the back also treated me so well, like a caring mom! The owner is also so nice! He was very attentive and courteous. I love the selection in this store and the prices are reasonable. This store is bigger than it looks from the outside and the variety is amazing. They even well beauty and hair products! They also sell clothing and other things. This really is a one stop shop. I visit this store wheever I can when I come to SLC! Especially for the food in the back.
The man who is at the cash register is always kind and considerate and as helpful as he can be. The food to order in the back of the shop is delicious! I definitely recommend this place for all of your spice needs and authentic food mixes and flavors. Extremely reasonably priced as well.
This is one of my favorite grocery stores in town! Great variety of Indian, Pakistani, and other Asian foods, as well as amazing deals on bulk amounts of spices. Seriously, stop buying your spices in little $5 bottles at Smith's! Staff is really friendly and store is always clean and organized.
Colorful and friendly, Youseff always answers my silly questions about things I have eaten but cant remember the name of. Great cafe in the back that makes my favorite samosas. They carry a variety of vegetables that no other store carries. Best curry leaves in my opinion. And tons of spices, teas, and so many other items I need to explore.
I ordered from this place a few weeks ago not realizing it was inside a grocery store. Best Indian food I've had in a long time. The service is even better. The staff are super nice and accommodating. Now I stop here everytime I'm passing through Salt Lake.
It's a great pakistani and indian grocery store. I can find literally everything I need to make pakistani dishes. The shopkeeper is very knowledgeable and they have halal meat.
This store is absolutely fabulous! They have a great variety of Indian, Pakistani, and Middle Eastern ingredients: spices, cheeses, treats, mixes, and a small amount of produce. They also carry quite a bit of cultural and personal items: hygiene supplies, incenses, Bollywood films, clothes. The best part is the employees. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and patient and makes you feel at home.
What a great shop with a friendly staff! I went into the store for the first time and was warmly greeted by, I assume, the manager who took me on a quick tour around the shop and cheerfully answered my [neophyte] questions about Halal food. He also recommended some snacks. What a great guy! He's definitely earned my future business! Also, I went to the cafe and bought some absolutely flavorful veggie biryani. (The portion was pretty big, too, so I got to save some for another meal later). The woman in the cafe who helped me was very friendly and even more so, for this reason: I walked up to the cafe, placed an order, enjoyed my order, as I stood up to leave, I noticed the sign with the hours [for the first time, doh!] on the cafe counter and I realized I had initially placed my order 1 hour after the cafe had closed——but the kind woman cooked me up my order anyway when she could have turned me away! I left the shop and cafe with my heart touched and grateful for the generosity of these people. Definitely check Qaderi Sweetz N Spicez out and I'm sure you, too, will have a wonderful shopping experience!
This is a hidden gem in Salt Lake City. I visited few of the Indian Grocery Stores to see how well stocked they are. The Qaderi Sweetz N Spicez has been the best so far plus reasonable prices. While visiting the store I did have the opportunity to grab some food. I opted for a chicken biryani and aloo paratha to go. Both dishes were amazing, this will be a regular stop for me once a week to get some food. They do have the authentic Pakistani taste which is hard to find. Recommend a visit when you are in Salt Lake City and craving some Pakistani food.
Me and my husband discovered the cafe in this store a week ago and what a find it was! We ordered tea (chai latte), mixed chat and chicken tikka masala. Chai was made with Indian/Pakistani herbs and I savored every sip of it. The chicken tikka masala was also delicious. The chicken was cooked in authentic Indian/Pakistani herbs and spices. The taste of this dish was a rare experience in the US. This is because most Indian restaurants use loads of butter/cream in the curries which makes flavor low on authentic spices. And so, the chicken tikka masala served at this cafe was a refreshing experience to our Indian palate. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and service was great. Our hostess was warm, kind, and charming. She greeted us with affection and referred to us as ‘Bhaiya’ (brother) and ‘Bhabhi’ (sister-in-law) which made us instantly connect with our Pakistani fellows. During our conversation with her, she discovered that my husband enjoys eating chicken curries, and offered us a Pakistani curry called Halim to taste, which was delicious. We really appreciated her affectionate gesture. The cafe serves variety of dishes ranging from appetizers to main course to desserts. The store is neat and has variety of Indian/Pakistani groceries and household items. If you are in Salt Lake City, a visit to this store and cafe will take you back home. I highly recommend this store and cafe.
Amazing shop and friendly, helpful owners! I am traveling for work and wanted to cook. The brother at the fdo t was helpful and answered questions for me(I am a revert, so learning still). I was able to feel comfortable shopping and was able to get items I didn't know I wanted!
They have an excellent selection of Indian and middle eastern products. They also make some of the best fresh, in-house naan bread I think I've ever had. Oz is super friendly and can give you great suggestions of you're not familiar with something.
Overall are amazing & nice to meet Yousuf Bhai also . May Allah give more Barakat in your business!
The lady is so very kind. Food was amazing. We had Goat Biriyani and Nehari with Roti! Out of the world stuff. But most importantly is the customer service, thanks for being such a lovely human being! Hard to come by these days!
This is a hidden gem, indeed! I used to drive past this store, but always thought it was closed. One day I finally saw the open sign and walked in. Came to know, this store has been in business for over 10 yrs, and I never knew😅 There’s a little spot in the store where they sell Indian/Pakistani food. I ordered Chicken Biryani, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! The portion size was pretty big and the taste was absolutely delicious. The only thing that bothered me about this grocery store was inconsistent and missing price labels. I didn’t know how much the items cost until I checked out or asked a store personnel. The staff there are so friendly and talk to you like they genuinely care. I love going there and ordering desi food and buying groceries.
Best biryani on earth, seriously. I have tried all kinds of biryani at different Indian restaurants in US and other Asia country . This one is by far the best. Also they have huge variety of Indian groceries and meat. I came to this place since they opened (5-6 years ago).Very friendly family own business . They also have another store at 3546 S Redwood Rd, West Valley City, UT 84119.
What an amazing hidden gem! I just discovered this market and Indian cafe and it's amazing. If you like Indian cuisine this place will get you everything you need to cook at home, or visit the cafe and get something already made.
So many varieties of indo-pak and Asian spices and such. The cute restaurant on the back has the BEST pani puri. I could eat this everyday.
Loved this place, staff is more than happy to help you find stuff. Small but had what we needed for fresh produce. Prices were reasonable and the samosa's were super yummy. Will definitely be back.
I only post when something is exceptionally good… this place makes the best Chicken Tikka Masalla.
Came here to get Pakola when I saw they had a restaurant. The food was incredible and very affordable. Super friendly staff.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Was searching for food gifts and was very pleased to be able to get a good selection! The owner was helpful and kind. I appreciate his help so much!!
Absolutely loved the food here! The mutton was tender and bursting with flavor, the aloo gobi was perfectly spiced, and the falooda was a sweet, refreshing treat. The place is super clean and well-maintained, and the lady at the counter is just too sweet — made the whole experience even more pleasant.
They carry good quality halal beef jerky and mouth watering mangos that taste sweeter than honey 😋 Really good halwa poori chane Sat & Sun from 11:30 am to 3 pm
This is easily the most fun place to shop for groceries in SLC. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable. He has helped open my mind to so many new flavors and my cooking has developed a lot since I began shopping here. Oh and it’s so well priced as well.
They’re amazing. Always super helpful and kind. They’re very savvy about everything. Always know exactly what I’m asking for. I love that they actually care about customers. They know customers are the most important visitors in the store. They know what’s good. They have the best food there. Anything you pick will be worth every single bite. My mom loves their store and they always treat her like family.

Great selection of Indian and other Asian spices. I went in looking for specific spices and found everything I wanted. The gentleman at the cash desk was very helpful and friendly. Prices aren't the lowest, but if you want authentic, you've got to pay for it. Quality here is much better than anything I can find at "regular" grocery stores. Glad I found this place.
Food was good. Not blown away but still worth going. The store has a lot of stuff and everything is clean.
Great grocery store. Great prices. Loved the staff. Loved the selection. Loved the hospitality. Thank you!

Pakistani selection are good but most of them expired.
2 starts because of the good food, otherwise would give none. The good: The cafe at the back corner of the store is good. - Some of the frozen stuff you wouldn’t elsewhere- e.g. vada pav. The bad and the ugly- The expired stuff in the store- the Indian snacks we bought from the store had a sticker on the expiry date (things expired more than a year ago) and tasted really bad- this is essentially fraud. We threw all the snacks out the day we bought them.
Updated: What a shame about owner's reply on my review! Doesn't talk about expired products and other issues, instead defends by saying I am advertising for other shops!! LOL! Let me remove those names if that helps u cheat the customers LESS (btw- i didn't put one specific name, i put a bunch of names and all are way better than you)... oh btw! It's not just me, a bunch of my friends complained the same! Shame on you! There is a list of the things wrong with this place: 1. Always check expiry date when buying from this place. I have personally seen expired products placed. Not just that but also the owner places a sticker on the expiry date sometimes to hide it and override original expiration date. 2. Overpriced.. Check out prices at Namaste Nanglo, CashNCarry, Shop N Go.. u will mostly find prices lower compared to these thieves. 3. Always be active when checking out, sometimes they might add items twice. 4. Check the price of certain items (e.g. soft Drinks) will be noted as $1.75 but when you check out, you will be charged $2.00. 5. A lot of the items will not have prices displayed so they can charge whatever they want. This is a violation as well and I am going to report this as well. 6. They have two shops. The other one is even worse (worse is attitude of the shop owner on the second location on Redwood Road) I wish I had kept snapshots to support my arguments as well but it has been good time since I stopped shopping here. What reminded me was recent lockdown when other indo-pak grocery stores were closed for 15 days and only this was open... and oh my God, even in these days this guy who is at the checkout counter was overcharging since we didn't have other options. This guy had the balls to say it even! "Since all other shops are closed, we are selling at desired prices and stock gets sold in a matter of hours".
I drove down from Logan to Salt Lake City to grab some halal meat and indian groceries. The store was very organized and the store owner was helpful and friendly. The main reason for me writing this review is that I got home and found that a majority of the items were expired. I am so disappointed because I spent over $170 and I feel like I can't even eat this food. There is no way that I am going to drive back to Salt Lake City all the way from Logan to return this expired stuff. Major disappointment because the store was really organized and staff is so courteous and friendly BUT when you see your money go to waste, it definitely hurts :(
BEWARE!! This place rips you off. I go to this place seldom because they rip you off on the prices on items. Items such as Rice bags etc are usually $3- $4 up the normal prices. Recently, I went there to get vegetables but my wife wanted to get Nanak Rasmalai. I was charged around $8 higher than the usual price of the item and I only got to know about it once I checked the price of the same item at another store. They have this trick of not sharing the itemized receipt of the purchased items (receipts only contain generic categories such as vegetables, spices etc) which means its easier for them to trick you. I agree with some other shoppers who saw expired items on the shelves. Never going to this store again!
We brought these mangoes from them and that time, they said we swear that mangoes are original and sweets but I never believed them but owner said, mangoes are guaranteed sweet and nice. Anyway don't believe them always check your invoice whenever you people pay for anything, sometimes they extra charge and I experienced multiple times.
Too much rice with only 2 small pieces of chicken for $21.00 !! This place is fraud! That's what happened to me yesterday. Photos attached. Don't go there it's a big scam. This was my experience when my friend and I ordered our lunch
If you must shop here check an expiry and prices after paid, they are over charging 2.49 has become 2.69 this came to my attention coz i bought after seeing the price listed. Worst place to shop so avoid this place if possible. Any thing to eat straight ‘Do Not Purchase’ here
