The food here is beyond comparison, staff are friendly, food is excellent and this is my go to place in Dublin for Thai food. Never had a bad meal and would encourage anyone nearby to try it.

Had an amazing dinner at Nightmarket last Friday. First time we tried it and not the last! Everything was perfect. Just one thing though, the potatoes in my wife’s curry were not cooked enough so they were a bit hard but aside from that, everything was delicious! Highly recommend the banana rôti with condensed milk and the sticky rice with mango 👌🏻 😋

This is hands down our favourite restaurant! We have visited many times and it never disappoints. The authentic Thai food is absolutely incredible, the staff are fantastic and there’s always such a great atmosphere.

Picked this place to celebrate my birthday last night and this was hands downs the best Thai food I’ve had in Dublin! Service was attentive and prompt, the male server made personable and made great recommendations for food selection. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains (Tom yum goong and Red curried duck) and 2 desserts. Good sized portions and the spice level was on point! Just like the way you would find it in the streets of Bangkok. We’ve just found out new favourite Thai place here.

I can only fault the price point. It's about 50% more expensive than Full Moon but it does also seem to have slightly bigger portion sizes and much more varied menu. Objectively very good and authentic Thai food. Waitress and waiter were patient and amicable. Really recommend the Gai Phad Med (cashew chicken). Definitely worth at least one visit. Whether I'll come back again will depend on how heavy my wallet feels.

We went to the Nightmarket for a second time, with the souvenir of a wonderful first experience one year ago. This second time was even better: food so delicious and staff so friendly, in a cool atmosphere. Nothing to be improved, just perfect.

I used to travel to Thailand frequently and thoroughly enjoyed Thai food. Good Thai food in Dublin is hard to come by. Trust me, I have tried so many restaurants. Love this place ❤️. The Tom yam soup was class, absolutely flavourful and delicious. Generous portion of prawns and it has 3 different types of mushrooms. Som Tum which is a papaya salad was served here. It's very authentic and delicious. Like the way the restaurant introduce itself , it's authentic. Sour , spicy , sweet and umami flavour together. Staffs were great. Definitely not for someone who prefers a Thai or Chinese take-away in Ireland.

I had heard this place was good, from many sources , and am happy to report they are all correct . Amazing food, super friendly staff , so helpful with any questions or allergens , one of the best meals I've had in Dublin. Already can't wait to go back

Always amazing food and service at Nightmarket . Everything on the menu is tastey so you can’t really go wrong. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu so they won’t steer you in the wrong direction if your unsure what to order. The cocktails and deserts are also very nice. Our go to Thai restaurant in dublin without a doubt.

This restaurant is superb. First off, the place warm and has welcoming ambience, very homy. Its less than 5mins walk from Luas, right on the street. The food is super. Food is warm enough, fresh from the pan. And as an Asian, the food is as authentic as you can get. Have a variety of selection, and Hooray for Vegans! Drinks are amazing, i got their perfectly crafted margarita. They all are reasonably priced. The staff are amazing, always checking on you. Most resto dont, but they do care abt how the food is. I super love that. I was surprised it wasnt busy on a sunday, thinking they do great food and service.

Really enjoyed the Thai food here! They have khao soi which is one of my favorite dishes and not often on the menu. Waiter was so kind to our group of 10 and when we were debating getting dumplings he said we could get 10 for the group to make it easy. Cocktails also good. Lots of different rooms and spots in the place to make it feel small

Amazing food. Our table tried a wide variety of foods, all delicious. For appetizers we had Peek Gai Tod Nahm Pla, the Spicy chicken wings, and Thoong Thong, the crispy Thai dumplings. Both great. We also shared soups, a steak salad, green curry, and two noodle dishes. Everything was prepared great and tasted wonderful. The THAI STYLE ROTI, WITH BANANA dessert was amazing.

Gorgeous food. We were a table of 16 and extremely loud, the service from Hannah was absolutely flawless. She couldn’t have done a better job. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The staff were lovely, portions were large, so small eaters may want to share and I enjoyed every bite even though I couldn't finish it all. Super flavourful and well made. Would happily come back!

We celebrate our anniversary at this restaurant yesterday and it was such a lovely experience: from service to food quality and taste to the lovely anniversary surprise at the end. I can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely Asian meal for my uni' daughter's birthday! All the mains were delivered as the same time, and delicious. Service from a dark haired Irish girl was excellent. We left a good cash tip, and will be back again to try more of the Hugh menu choice. I feel the chef's would excel at each dish!

Very enjoyable evening in night market. Staff are very attentive and accommodating. We had a very pleasant family meal after a concert in Sandord church.

I wasn’t going to write a review… but then the staff made it so that I had to! I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy, so I came back an hour later. Not ideal, but I really wanted to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. They eventually found me a table, and from there the experience was exquisite. The food was incredible, I had the mussels, the red curry duck, and the cheesecake for dessert. Everything was bursting with flavor. The staff were so attentive, answered all my questions about the menu, and even recommended a perfect red wine pairing. The atmosphere was amazing, warm, lively, and inviting. Just make sure you book in advance ☺️

Devious Thai dishes, freshly prepared and presented with outmost care. Loved everything, restaurant is also great for conversations and cocktails (if you fancy them). Only downside is that service is super slow, even for drinks, just something to keep in mind if you don’t have tons of time. Waitress was lovely, think the challenge maybe in the kitchen on busy nights.

This was easily one of the best meals I had in Dublin. Flavourful, spicy, and warm in the belly I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Its a bit expensive, but the portions are big enough for two meals. I will always pay money for good food and will absolutely be back to this place again. In a city where this is so much bland and flavourless, this truly is a standout place.

We had an excellent time at nightmarket. The food is incredible, and can be made as spicy as one likes! Delicious flavors and the side room with tiles adds a cute ambience for a date night. Highly recommend!

It’s crazy how authentic this restaurant is! We were in Thailand last year and since coming home we crave Thai food a lot, tried here for the first time today and it was so amazingly delicious. We tried the papaya salad (not Irish spicy, it was most definitely Thai spicy!! If you know you know), sticky rice, pork skewer, prawn rolls, khao soi and Tom yam. We had to have a singha. Our waiter conor was brilliant so helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend. Khop khun khap 🇹🇭

Nice food, very authentic for Thai food in Ireland . The owner should consider hiring more staffs? Service is … too slow.

Very good asian cuisine. Not super affordable but not too bad either. Thai dishes were outstanding. Could do without the onion flakes on the scallops, but overall a good time.

Have been visiting night market for the last few years but recently, given their popularity and the crowds, the service has become slower and prices have shot through the roof, but that doesn't stop it from being my favourite thai restaurant in Ireland, at least so far. Love the balance between authenticity and local accessibility, with a decent few dishes without thai level of spice! Minced pork with basil was great the last time I was there but papaya salad not as good as ever time before that! Beyond the food, I love the spicy margh with bird's eye chilli, and mango sticky rice, which are both so hard to get right. Their mango is sooo good even in the middle of winter!

It’s the little things that count in a Dublin restaurant market that too often feels overpriced and under appreciative of customers. In night market when you ask for a carafe of house wine you get a delicious tempernillo at a very reasonable price. When you ask for a Coke Zero you get a glass with ice and lime but also a full 330ml can rather than the poxy 190ml bottles that other restaurants give out. And that’s before we even get to the delicious food and the sparkling friendly service. Why would you go anywhere else?

The best Thai food I ate in Ireland. We spent our first wedding anniversary there and it was lovely. Delicious starters and very well served main. Good atmosphere and definitely will come back for different ocasions.

Authentic Thai food, probably the best place for Thai food in Dublin. Provide both indoor and outdoor seating options. Also has a bar.

Delicious food - really amazing flavors, so far my favorite Thai place in Dublin based on food alone. Service is very friendly and helpful. I love that they have a brunch menu that is mostly just Thai dishes (also with some scrambled egg option for the brunch purists - fear not), very refreshing on the local brunch scene.

i had very high expectations before going to Nightmarket as I heard it was the best Thai restaurant in town, and was not disappointed! From Tom Kha Gai to Red Curry, everything was super tasty and felt like I was back in Thailand. If you"re looking for authentic thai food in Dublin, this is the place to go to!

I've been here a few times already, and this restaurant never disappoints me. Amazing customer service from the staff and the quality of food is top notch. We would recommend ordering "Khao Niew MaMaung" (sticky rice with mango, crispy yellow bean, coconut cream) .. if you have room for dessert. We were stuffed and did't want to miss out, instead we ordered the dessert for take away

I spent 3 months in Dublin and wanted Nightmarket to be the last restaurant I revisited before leaving Ireland. The lamb massaman is simply the most delicious curry I've ever had. The lamb was succulent and the flavours were incredible. It's simply a must have dish that will not disappoint. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, making the culinary experience that much better.

I was in Nightmarket recently after not having been in a few years and it was as good as ever. I was with a big group and I don't think anyone was disappointed. Thank you! Will be back again soon.

The waitstaff are just so lovely, we really enjoyed our experience. It’s a bit pricey but I believe great value for the experience and quantity / quality of food!

Went here for a Saturday evening at 9pm, as that was the only time available. Definitely need to book as the place is very crowded. The decor is very ugly and does not really suit the food. The food itself was excellent. Had nice prawn rolls, beef salad, a curry, lychee cheesecake and mango sticky rice. It's definitely not the cheapest place but worth the money. Place can get pretty loud if it's crowded. They have a nice smoking area in the back. Service was good at that time since it was towards the end of the evening.

I had pad thai and sticky rice and I really liked it. However the service was sooo slooow on a sunday evening and only 3-4 other tables. We waited almost 30 mins to be served, they forgot my drink order and had to remind them. Every request would take forever :( Other than that, I would recommend it.

Quality Thai food, enjoyed all of it. But I mainly went there for the Khao Soi Ga which was a slight let down as they used bland chicken strips. In my experience of North Thailand they only used chicken thighs or chicken drumsticks which taste much better. Pad Thai was unbearingly sweet with tamarind sauce.

Beautiful presentation for the food but a litlle on the pricier side. Would highly recommend the veg and tofu pad Thai and mango sticky rice. Friendly and quick service as well.

I have been always looking for a good thai restaurant that would serve good drinks. But it seems that I can always get either or. Nightmarket was unfortunately no exception. Let’s start with the environment. I made a reservation for the tunnel room. When I arrived I was offered a table outside by a pile of boxes. Upon requesting a different table, I was sat in proper tunnel room. That was great. I must say the restaurant ambience is nice, most table are good and it looks great, except for the table I was offered initially. Now the drinks. They have excellent drinks. I was very pleased. I just think they could have been faster. It took a long time to get drinks for a small place. The food presentation was great but I thought the flavor wasn’t there. I had a Tom Kha Gai soup and it was great. The pork skewers are fantastic. Then I had the Miang Kham and it was disappointing. It was a very dry dish. Well presented but very dry and not to my taste. Then we had the pad thai, the mango salad and the papaya salad. The mango salad was great but the fried crab that comes with it was over fried and tasteless. We could not eat it at all. The pad thai was not bad but it was missing something. It wasn’t the best but again, I was disappointed with the flavors. The papaya salad was tasteless and probably the worst I ever had. I love papaya salads and usually I ask it to be made mild so that I enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors were not there. It was like it was missing something. Again the same pattern. Since the experience was not that great, we decided to skip desert. In conclusion, I believe they need to speed up the drinks and enhance the food flavors. Everything else was great. This place has the potential to be the best in town. Just not there yet.

Staff was polite and welcoming, but we weren't impressed with the food. It was more beautiful than tasty and well-balanced. For this kind of price range, we expected another level of food experience.

Overall I would not recommend I was disappointed with Night Market. The atmosphere of the "restaurant" is not good. We were sat on high stools around what looked like a sports bar with framed photographs of football teams, and sticky bar stools to fit, not the type of decor or atmosphere i was expecting for a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was very quiet, and I mean quiet, when we entered no one greeted us so we went upstairs to find still no staff were to be seen. Finally a guy appeared and sat us, handed us menus and left. Service was very lackluster throughout. Only saving grace for this place was the food which was surprisingly nice. I cant say we will be back.

Update: Went back again for a group birthday, atmosphere was lovely, starters were lovely, had the tofu pad Thai, tofu was a bit watery but overall well presented but wasn't the best Pad Thai I've had. For the price, I would expect our mains to come out before waiting an hour. We also noted a huge table of 10 ordered after us and got served first and when we asked when our food was arriving, they said it would be after the big table. We were then given rice crackers (which previously were given anyway when we sat down so it seemed they had forgotten), just overall wasn't overly apologetic. Definitely will be avoiding in future. Great menu, pricey but a lot to chose from! Picked a seafood dish which I was a bit disappointed about. Found service to be rushed, felt like staff rushed to get us out the door which was disappointing as we spent a lot on dinner and there were six of us. Not sure if I would go back.

Came in last evening, with high expectations. Both myself and my sister are big into authentic Thai and had heard good things. Our table was booked for 6.30pm. We ordered and shared 6 oysters as a snack, but decided to just get two mains between us. 8pm - 8pm is when we finally ate. The restaurant wasn’t busy at this point, the servers seemed to be messing up a lot of the orders by table awaying guests that hadn’t even finished starters. No one came to check on us but we could hear them saying to each other that our table still had yet to receive their food. No one came over to apologise or explain. When the food finally arrived, my sisters dish was served first and then mine eventually came, but was not with the rice that we ordered. So waited another 5/10 mins for the rice to come, whilst my dish sat there getting cold. Food is good. No doubt about it. We had the Yuu Taley warm salad and the fillet beef Phad Krapao, which by the way, is so unnecessarily spicy (we are well aware it’s a spicy dish but this was nearing inedible) would have been good if they had advised this at the beginning to us. When the server finally came with the water we requested, I mentioned it was really hot and she responded ‘yeah it burns the mouth off you’ Overall - would I be back? Certainly not in the near future, especially if you are hungry. Food is excellent, no doubt about it. But the service seriously needs work. Two mains, 6 oysters and water €90. Expensive. Really disappointed to write this review

X
Xihui C.

The carbohydrate there was a letdown. The €2 euro additional Thai Jasmine Rice taste not even comparable to supermarket rice, no jasmine aroma at all, I can make way better rice than that at home. Same as previous reviews, not blow sway food. Mango sticky rice was a surprise, in my knowledge it is the only place in Dublin serving that dish(while in authentic Thai restaurants this dish should be a norm). My suggestion is to reduce the heavy flavoring in sticky rice. After having this meal I woke up quite thirsty at midnight, because the sauces are too heavy in those dishes. I will try other dishes and revert

We walked in and were told we needed a reservation. Most of the tables were empty, and only two people were at the bar. We asked if we could just have a drink at the bar. They said they would check, went over, came back without speaking to anyone, and told us no. Very disappointing, especially as we are genuine Thai food lovers.

I came to this restaurant with high expectations because of its excellent Google reviews. Despite having a reservation, I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table due to the weekend crowd, which I didn’t mind. However, I was disappointed when my €27 main course, Phad Kaprao, arrived. The portion was tiny, and most importantly, the taste was terrible. It was overly salty and tasted predominantly of soy sauce. It was not nearly as spicy as described. Before ordering, the waiter told me it was very spicy, which I welcomed because I love spicy food. Although this restaurant is located in an affluent area, I must say that the price is simply not worth it. If you are looking for good food, this is not the place. The service was mediocre, and the food was poor. Don’t be misled by the high Google ratings.
