We visited Amari on December 31st, New Year’s Eve, and I really felt the need to leave this review because this experience truly deserves it. Amari is not just a restaurant. The food is absolutely impeccable, but more than that, it feels like a statement of art and a genuine love letter to ingredient. Every dish is thoughtful, beautifully balanced, and full of intention. The tasting menu is fabulous an immersive experience where each course tells a story. The quality of the ingredients, the precision, and the care behind every plate are outstanding. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be this: alongside the tasting menu, an à la carte option would be amazing. Not because anything is missing, but because the dishes are so beautiful and memorable that sometimes you just want more of a specific one. As you can see in the photos below, everything really speaks for itself. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Me and my partner had an amazing experience this evening with them! Staff is lovely, shoutout to Nina who served us through the night. She and another lad (Fernando, but not too sure) carefully helped us understand the menu, and had been nothing but nice and cordial through the courses. Mario the bartender gave us great cocktail recommendations and served us spot on drinks. The courses were creative, innovative and super tasteful. That desert was unreal! One of the bests I’ve had recently. Thank you for all the hospitality Mariana and Alex! See you next time.

Incredible flavours from some really unique flavour combinations. Really cool to get Brazilian flavours from ingredients. The standouts for us were the Guinea fowl with feijão-flavoured barley and the venison with açaí - though I would have been happy to be served the feijoada cake croquette at every course. Super friendly staff too. Looking forward to going back.

This wonderful restaurant is a delight to visit. The warm welcome you receive upon entering is so lovely and enhances your visit. The food is to die for, a delight to the sences. We had the tasting menu which is beyond expectations , a true culinary delight. The wine list great, with a great variety of wines but it's the food and knowledgeable staff the define this restaurant. The atmosphere, service and food will make you want to return for a second time. I couldn't recommend the whole experience more.

Would absolutely recommend Amai. The dishes included inspiration from Brazil making it a great dining experience and offering something different to other fine dining restaurants in Dublin. Our favorites were the guinea fowl and the “tupinambo, almonds, chocolate, truffle” dessert. I would love to come back! The service was also excellent and location is super convenient. Overall a 10/10 👏🏼

Incredible food and lovely staff! We heard about the restaurant and booked a table to check it out. The staff was super attentive, explaining everything and making us feel welcome as they introduced every dish. Wishing every success to chef Viktor, and looking forward to try every menu that he puts together!

I don't think I have ever in my life tasted such a diverse range of flavours with a tasting menu ! Amazingly tentative staff, highly relaxing, comfortable and beautiful place to spend an evening. I would give 100 stars if I could. Cannot wait for the new menu

Absolutely loved the tasting menu! Every dish was full of amazing flavors and featured unique combinations I’d never think to try at home and they all worked beautifully. I had an incredible experience at Amai by Viktor. The place is elegant, spotless, and has an atmosphere that reflects luxury and great taste. The food was spectacular, with unique flavors crafted by the talent of Chef Viktor, who clearly puts his heart into every dish. We came here a couple of days before Valentine’s Day, and it was a great choice ! The menu is fixed around 8 dishes from appetizer to dessert and honestly every single one was delicious. Not a single miss. The mix of Brazilian and Irish cuisine really works, it’s something different and it just clicks. Victor was a brilliant host, really friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The whole team had the same great energy warm, relaxed, and genuinely happy to have you there. We had a really good time and left with big smiles. Wishing the whole team the best you deserve it. We’ll definitely be back!

Tried out this new Brazilian fine dining spot in the heart of Dublin and was seriously impressed. The food was packed with authentic flavours and the menu felt fresh and original, like a real taste of Brazil. Each dish comes with a story, which adds a really personal touch and makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Very talented and professional team! The place has a cool mix of modern and casual, with great music and a unique vibe that makes it feel special. Cocktails and wine were on point too, definitely try the caipirinha and whiskey sour. Overall, a fantastic experience. Hope more people get to discover this gem!

An Unforgettable, Delightful Journey. Firstly, I would like to thank the whole team behind Amai for giving me the chance to enter the world of this wonderful chef, artist, and humble man. When I entered the beautiful rooms of Amai, I was struck to see the Head Chef painting the wall that centers the hatch where the food comes out. What I later learned is that his painting resembles his memories of the place he was born and grew up. I knew this was not just a restaurant the moment I sat down. Every single dish I was served was a masterpiece, something I will never forget. I could feel the passion in every single bite. Service was attentive from the very beginning. I was greeted by Alex and shown to our table, who let us know what was going to happen in the next two hours. Mariana passionately explained every dish and made sure we were having a great time. All the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Throughout the experience, a thought struck me while looking at the chef through the hatch and at his drawings all around the wall: I was in the world of Viktor—his past, his journey of flavors and life. I believe this is a one-of-a-kind place in the heart of Dublin, and it's a must-try for anyone who wants an unforgettable experience.

No words to describe the experience! First of all, a big round of applause for the team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, explaining every detail of the dishes and the stories behind them. Chef Viktor himself came to deliver our last dish, and it was such a lovely surprise. Besides being extremely talented, he is also very gentle and pleasant. And about the food… truly beyond words! Everything was prepared with so much care and attention to detail, and you could taste it in every bite. Special highlights for the Feijoada snack, the fennel brioche with corn cultured butter, the short rib, and the unforgettable banana, caramel & white chocolate sweet. A complete gastronomic experience, far beyond just a meal. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. Every single course was bursting with flavour - honestly, I couldn’t even pick a favourite because they were all that good. The attention to detail in every dish was incredible. Their wine selection was phenomenal and perfectly complemented the food, elevating the entire experience even more. The vibe is comfortable and chic. The food tastes amazing. The staff is super attentive and friendly, mainly Mariana and Lissa who served us. My favorite dish was the monkfish and the ice cream with watermelon sauce. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

One of the best meals I've had in Dublin in years. Every course was top class. Highlights being the desert which had a mushroom and hay tea! We had the absolute PLEASURE of eating in Amai last night for my husbands birthday. Exceptional, delicious, one of the most interesting meals we’ve had in Dublin in a long time and the best dessert we’ve ever had are just some of the comments we said there and again today. The place is cozy and welcoming. As a Brazilian myself, I loved the song choices, the wall Brazilian art and the warmness of the staff! The food was impeccable, with a curated menu by Viktor, the Brazilian chef, that harmonized amazingly all the flavors the country has to offer. The tasting menu brings you from start to finish to a tasteful trip to Brazil, but in the heart of Dublin City center. It is a special restaurant. Highly recommend.

Brilliant dinner at Amie. We had the eary dinner menu and it was excellent, the desert being the absolute stand out! Alex our host was also great, adding a personal touch in the perfect way. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back.

I booked a table at Amai by Viktor for my wife's birthday and to say I'm extremely happy with our experience would be a huge understatement. I had left some requests when I was booking on OpenTable, more in hope than anything as these are usually not seen or ignored by restaurants but the guys at Amai went above and beyond. When I arrived they informed me that they'd given us a special table by the window and they took my flowers and put them in water. When my wife arrived they took her coat and bag for her. Throughout the entire meal the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from Alex, the general manager, and Mariana, the assistant general manager, all the way to a woman who seemed to be training on her first day and yet couldn't have been more attentive and nice. Then, to my surprise as well as my wife's, they not only fulfilled every single detail of the request I had put on OpenTable but they added even more. It feels a bit weird to get this far into the review without talking about the food but the tasting menu is just insanely good. Aside from the taste, texture and presentation, which were exceptional on every dish, as someone who can barely cook, I still felt you could tell how much skill and practice was required to make an experience like that. Most if not all the food seemed to have been made in the restaurant itself, as well as some of the ingredients for the drinks. On top of all that, the caipirinha was by far the best I've ever seen, either in Ireland or Brazil, for taste, texture and appearance. I really can't speak highly enough of the guys here. This restaurant is really something special and I hope they see a lot of success

We have been to Amai by Viktor twice now, and we already love it. The food is incredible, every dish feels carefully thought through, full of flavour and personality. Some bites even reminded me of home, but with a creative twist that made it feel special. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and you can tell there is real passion behind what they do. We will definitely be coming back again.

A food lover’s paradise. Prepare to have all of your senses awakened. A truly fabulous experience with delicious food consisting of unusual pairings…foie gras and chocolate, sweet potato and mushroom in dessert! Great wine list. Wonderful service from start to finish. There was a large party (circa 20 people) there tonight but the owner personally visited all tables to apologise for the extra noise and offered a complimentary glass of champagne. I am already planning my return visit!

The food was spectacular! Best duck & best chocolate desert I have ever had, anywhere. The staff are wonderful, attentive and made the meal memorable. This restaurant will be a favourite and deserves all the accolades it achieves. The venue and room is inviting, warm and classy. Amai is not to be missed!

I saw someone leave a 1 star review that is laughable. Please do not give that competitor any credit. They clearly do not understand the concept and maybe as a Brazilian expected it to be like fogo de chao? The dishes here are creative, thoughtful, and elegant. This isn’t a Brazilian restaurant per se, it is an upscale experience that highlights the chefs Brazilian background. We were a party of people from metropolitan areas that are no strangers to amazing restaurants, we hailed from LA, NYC, Miami, Rome, and Brazil. We all agreed that this was one of The best culinary experiences we have had in recent memory. This is not a place to be missed.

If you are in Dublin ( local or tourist), you must include Amai by Viktor on your restaurant list! We just celebrated our daughter’s graduation at Amai by Viktor and they went above and beyond to make this milestone celebration very special! Their tasting menu was well worth it. In terms of the meal, every course was a delight to the palate. The combination of the various elements and flavours was inventive. The staff at Amai were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Thank you to everyone at Amai by Viktor!
