Leave your togas at home....PLEASE! However, bring your appetite!! Seriously good tacos here so, you will not be disappointed. Well worth the drive from Mesquite and if you make it a lunch, why not do some thrifting around the area?! Bon Appétit and Happy Hunting! 😊
I love how marinated the meat is and how juicy and tender the meat is, regardless of what type of plate I get! Everything is always fresh and and I could go there everyday I would! Lol Thanks for having the same food for years! That place has been by my grandmother's house since I was a kid! God Bless!
Went here late having a pregnancy craving for some tacos. They were like the only place open with the type of tacos I wanted. The line was a little long but it moved quick. The tacos were absolutely god for a good price. Will be going back.
Love the food but wish the line outside could be faster. But I wait because I know it’s not easy with cooking fresh and everyone in the drive through. Pandemic changed everything. But the food is still good like always.
This one gets a A++!! My first time there and THE food was GOOD! The Hispanic guy that helped was AMAZING! Very pleasant! I ended up getting BOTH the soups! I will be back! Thanks!
Great wholesale for discount cakes and bread chips.Nuts cookies candy, awesome.Place.Good service very quiet in and out thank you
I had not been to this location since 2018. I ordered the chimichanga plate today. It was just as amazing as I remembered! The chimichanga is huge! You can eat off of it at least twice! It comes with rice, beans & sour cream for under $10. You can’t beat that
Drive thru and the food was great. I miss this place as they don't have any where I am living now. The food was just as great as I remembered. Still cheap too.
Usually come here after work, it’s the only place open aside from the standard fast food; but this place has never disappointed me. The food along with the workers are great!!
Food is great and prices are reasonable I would definitely recommend this places if you are in a hurry ,service is faster than other places
THE BEST TACOS IN DALLAS ⭐️1.) IM A LEGEND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE
Good service and good food. I ordered the enchiladas and two tacos plate. Was really delicious. The chicharron tacos we're really good. The beans were fresh they had good flavor. Enchiladas were really good also. To drink I ordered the agua de melon and it was just perfect not to sweet.
The chimichanga picadillo is HUMONGOUS! Seriously enough for 2 if not 3 meals. Was fresh n delicious even at 2am! ordered a side rice for the kiddo only $1.25 n the chimichanga single for me at $5.50. was pleasantly surprised when I got home n had rice beans lettuce n guac thrown in for free too🤣 can't wait to warm up left overs for lunch today
I love love love this place ! The cheesecake and tres leches are soooo gooddd and i’m never ever disappointed by the savory food 😍 i’ve been eating here for years and they’re always so nice and quick!
Randomly drove into this spot for lunch because I didn’t want traditional fast food. The photos on the menu outside are nothing like the food you get. I got a chimichanga with fajita chicken. It was only $7 and some change. It came with rice and beans and it was huge. And delicious! Very unexpected. I want to come back and try more food!
These tacos was good for sure! Love me a good taco joint.
The fajita super nachos are always so good
I ordered from Cesar’s Tacos for the first time on a Friday night at midnight, and it was a good experience overall. 3 Taco Plate (Fajita, Corn Tortilla): The tacos were satisfying. They use yellow corn tortillas, which I think are the best for street tacos. The fajita meat was flavorful and came with green and red salsa—both were pretty good. A solid choice if you’re in the mood for tacos. Chips and Salsa: The salsa stood out—flavorful and not too spicy. The chips were standard, like you’d get at most Mexican restaurants, but they paired well with the salsa. Pappas Fritas (Fries): The fries were straightforward—unseasoned but decent, and they came with ketchup. Nothing fancy, but they were fine for what they are. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for late-night cravings, and I’d recommend it to locals looking for authentic Mexican food at odd hours.
I was told that this place serves good breakfast tacos, so I gave it a try myself. I ordered four potato and egg tacos with bacon on flour tortillas and they were fresh and delicious. I loved the tomatoes in the eggs too. I also ordered a large agua de piña and it was super refreshing. The red salsa was good but it was a bit spicy for me. To the guy working drive thru, you have a nice, contagious personality! 10/10
Went to Cesar's for a late-night bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and especially the portion size. The lady at the counter was friendly and I enjoyed my meal. The menu is pretty extensive for a "fast food" place.
Today I ordered an enchilada plate. And it was just a little bit different with the enchiladas I never had those type of enchiladas before but you can still tell it was Mexican food. I can say that Cesar's Tacos they are really good and I would take anybody there if they want it Mexican tacos so I give it two thumbs up.
Service was friendly and food was great I felt the beans and steak were a little light and the steak was a bit fatty for my liking but amazing place I'll be back
Have been eating here for 15 years. Have tried just about everything. Super nachos can feed two to three. Meat is seasoned well. Only real complaint is bathroom is outside around build. Will eat here before any other taco place.
I eat here whenever I am in Duncanville. Great food. I have never had trouble with the staff. They have horchata. I have tried several plates and liked them all. I don't like nachos so never ordered them. Sure it looks like a dive but to me that adds to it. I'm a "gringo" but never felt awkward or discriminated. Take a chance. You will like it.
Cesar’s Tacos offers a great variety of dishes to choose from, and the food is really good. I recently picked out a meal for my family, and everyone enjoyed it. If you're looking for a place with a wide selection and tasty options, Cesar’s is definitely worth a visit!
Love the flautas. Have never had an issue but just dont agree with the pricing for a large shrimp cocktail. It was very pricey for what seemed like a medium size cup and not a large. Got a refund for the over priced cocktail
Customer service was pretty good, food was delicious as usual & the prices are good for the amount of food you get - I've never left hungry. Only drawback is that they seem to always have one or more flies in the dining area. Aside from that I'd have given them 4 stars.
I ordered two breakfast burritos of chorizo and egg this morning and the lookedlike they were made yesterday. The egg and chorizo we're dry and crumbly.
When I went there, the place was empty. So the employees were quick to greet. The lady on the register took my order and have me drink. I went to sit down, but all the tables there were dirty. I had to clean my own table so that i could sit down and eat in. Hopefully they keep the kitchen clean. The food was decent, but the lack of cleanliness and too many flies flying around, kind of turn me off. Not sure if I will return.
I bought a 3 street carne asada Taco combo for 11.99 +Taxes and a half order of beef nachos. Total spent for both $20.35. The taco plate is a bit pricey but the food is delicious. The grilled purple onion, both salsas (and they are hot!) and the Kool-Aid 😋. I order3d there and waited about 10 minutes (this was about 8:45p when I ordered). Stingy with rice and beans but filling for my 5'3" 140lbs frame. I recommend
This is a good place to eat when you’re in a hurry, but the quality of food is not as great as the location on Davis Street in Oak Cliff, Dallas. If you ever get the fish, ask about the freshness. I had the Mojarra and it tasted old. I started to feel sick after eating it and let the front staff know and got an apology.
Just moved into this area. Had been to other cesars tacos and liked it. Had the pastor. No flavor, meat was tough. Couldn't hear a single thing from counter person and had to yell to order because the music was so loud. Wont go back.
Little hole in the wall type of place, which sometimes turn out to be a hidden gem. Not this one unfortunately. The food wasn't as fresh as one would like it to be. The rice was hard like it sat too long under a heat source. Fajita meat had great flavor but way too much tough fat pieces. The sopes and gordita bread were hard as if they sat out too long. I would not recommend this place to a friend.
Each enchilada has one spoonful of filling total. The food is mediocre at best. The green salsa is amazing however. The red salsa was just pure heat and lacking flavor. Taco meat was chewy. Overall not impressed. I love that they have a drive thru. Will look elsewhere. It was meh
The food was delicious and I loved the convenience of the location. I gave them two stars because they knowingly overcharged me for a burrito. I had been here three days in a row so I know what the price should have been. I brought it to both of the cashiers attention but they insisted that $7.50 was the normal price for ONLY a burrito when in the past I paid $6.20 and that included rice and beans. I will not be returning here ever. I don't care how good the food is or even if the price difference was $1.30. You DON'T overcharge people period. Bad bussiness ethics!
I didn't wanted to put out any review, but after reading few overcharged comments i wnted to . I went today and my total supposed to be 14.50 but it was 24.50 . I had to explain for 2 minutes to how a $5 tacos and $8.50 plate makes it 24.50? Finally got it fixed before I paid. Looking at other comments , it seems to me that it wasn't n honest mistake, especially when computer calculates. Food was delicious and I eat at other location 'll the time. However gave 2 stars because of the overcharged.
Long wait times, music inside is at an 8 out 10 and girl taking orders speak very very quiet. Tacos are good not the best.
Food with unpleasant taste, and the plate which you ask for shrimp, they charge 2 bucks and add ONLY 2 SHRIMPS, which also has a extreme fishy taste. Place is very hot, which makes me wonder about the freshness of the food.
Food is awesome. However…40 minutes for 1(ONE) taco and 1(ONE) huarache is unacceptable. I understand short staff. I understand busy nights, but 40 …FORTY MINUTES….not ok. Barely a half hearted apology…no admission of fault, or losing the order…nothing, just ignored for 40 minutes. One more thing: sign said $5.99 for huarache, I was charged $8.75
Didn’t take my order at the speaker then took forever on my food and once I received it they were over greased with oil and all the meat was stale hard to chew couldn’t even enjoy it won’t be back
I have visited the location before and I enjoy it. Today I went through the drive thru and had a horrible experience. The lady that help us with rude. We spent $36 and waited longer than expected to receive poor service. She was rude over the intercom and in-person. What took the cake was, I asked for more limes (because I order 12 tacos and I received 3 tiny slices of limes) and she said no! I will not visit this location again. I have any ate my food because I’m cutting limes at home 🙄
The tacos were super small and should only be a $1.00 no more then that very disappointed ☹️
We sat in line for 20-25 mins(maybe longer). First problem. Then i was charged 3.25 for a large cup of ice. She realized she messed up and gave me my money back for it. Just to wait 5 more mins for my food and it was cold. Super disappointed
I order #10 (3 gorditas with rice and beans) they asked me regular or fried, I said fried, so they charged me $1.50 on top of the price just to fry the gorditas, also order a Cesarin plate and asked for an extra side of sausage they said $1.50 for the extra side, I said okay but I would never imagine this extra side is literally 2 small pieces of sausage the size of a quarter. The place is already expensive and what you asked for extra (lime, onion, jalapeño) expect to overpay and receive the minimum of amount. Minimum $1.50-175 for 2 small pieces of lime. I am not exaggerating because I have paid this before.
The service is terrible the lady that works in the morning is so rude the food was good now its terrible...this is the last time
Food was cold and looked raw. Complete discussing. What they call fajita looks like red ground beef. Not to mention that they are pricey and not much meat in the tacos. I can’t believe that they expect customers to eat the food that way.
The plate I ordered was supposed to be enough for 2 people and it was really only enough for one person. The flavor was good but the amount was not worth what I paid. Disappointed in that should be more for the price.
I had been told by friends not go to Cesar’s Tacos but I like Cesar’s Snack Shack so much I gave it a try. I ordered 4 different items to get a good sample of their food and was not impressed by any of it. The barbacoa in the chimichanga was more like pot roast. The chicken flautas were crispy but otherwise flavorless. The taco shells were crispy but the meat and/or cheese tasted old. The burrito I gave away without even tasting it. I won’t ever waste money at Cesar’s Tacos again or recommend them to anyone I like. But definitely go the Cesar’s Snack Shack!
Had an online order don't order online. They won't get it and the online portion is wrong once you tell them. Luckily if you tell them at the front they fix it and place the order in for you because you paid for it (and I had proof as well.) They also don't have 80% of the menu so you might get a lot of "We don't have that." The food however is good, and the the service is atrocious but the people are nice. Just beware you're not here for service. I'd like to edit my review and say my food was very dry and bland, take your business else where
Explained to lady taking my order no eggs because I am allergic to them. When I drove back from work, yes I left and had to return. The lady had to call someone to talk to me because she did not speak English. Was told breakfast is pre-made and can not be made to specific order. Tried to charge me for more to make it without eggs. Will never visit again.
Just drive 1 more mile down and eat at "DON TACO" So I got a large melon water and it was bad. The water tasted so bad it almost make me puke. It smell rancid and tasted even worst. Yes unfortunately I tasted before I smelled it. They said they will get me another ok good. However I order a "parillada" and they didn't give me my side orders of rice or beans or the "salad"lettuce with tomato. Also said they ran out of salsa green and red. Also the salad smelled bad and rancid. Even look way out of date all soggy. I call them about it they didn't said sorry and also didn't give me a solution there was a moment of silence during the conversations like saying what do you want us to do. Until I said I am going back for my food. They said ok, then I went and didn't have my order ready. I had to wait 5 more minutes in this fast food place not restaurant after I called and drove 10 minutes to get there. Never buying there again nor do I recommend ever.
If I could Give zero stars I would, when I got there there was no one there and it took them over 20 minutes to get my order out and all I ordered was quesadillas. When I asked the young lady at the register how much longer for my Order it had already been 15 minutes and the young lady states “I don’t know I’ll let you know” and proceeded to close the window in my face. The young lady never came back until she actually had my order I had then already waited 20+ minutes when I asked to speak with a manager the young lady with a ponytail and glasses was very rude. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced not to mention when I tried to get someone’s attention from the drive thru I was ignored! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
Horchata is disgusting the torta was dry as hell and the tacos are so oily would not recommend and the prices are crazy like 3 dollars for 1 taco? For 5 tacos a torta and an horchata it was $40 so many other taco places have better food and prices
I only came here because my friend said they were good. The beans taste like they scooped them with a dirty spoon sitting in a sink of dirty dish water, the tacos had a pool of grease meat juice in the plate, and their tres leches cake was dryer than someones scalp before head and shoulders shampoo. I wont be back_.
This is the worst place I have gone to for Mexican food and their prices are ridiculously high for the mediocre food you receive. I would have given no star, but that wasn't an option. To charge $3.25 for a small taco that had tough meat, no extra things like sour cream or cilantro is appalling. If I wanted meat and tortilla I could have purchased an entire pack of tortilla and a pack of chicken for less. The cashier who is very concendesing as well as unprofessional is the second reason for staying away and the manager that usually drives a big yellow truck is the third. My suggestion is to find somewhere else to go that not only appreciates its customers, but takes some pride in the food they prepare.
waited for big order view my bag and they forgot my flan went inside to claimed it didnt think i had to check my shrimp cocktail 🤦🏼♀️ git home no shrimp at all on the cocktail 😡 only avocado can you beleive that no shrimp at all very upset!!!!
I'm only giving them 1 star because it won't do no stars. I bought the plate of gorditas of pastor. The rest of the night i was throwing up and by the morning i was on the toilet and throwing up. All nasty spoiled meat. Never going there again.. becareful when u go. The gorditas we're cold and the meat funny taste. I took 2 bites and threw it away. But that was enough to get me sick.
I eat Caesar's all the time it's my favorite spot, but this location is terrible!! I ordered a taco plate and was charged 8.17 for 3 tacos!! Just the tacos!! At the other location I order the same thing and for 7 almost 8 dollars I get a plate with my choice of tacos, beans, and rice... the cashier wanted to charge me $1.62 just to ADD the beans and rice or 3.92 to make my 3 tacos a taco plate!! Smh... poor customer service and I clearly told her my order. NEVER AGAIN!! I will continue to drive to the other location on Jefferson... I knew better!! I'm not pleased at all...
The girl answering phones today was very rude. I asked how long my order was going to be and she just hung up, i called back and she gave me attitude when i proceeded to ask for the wait time. I also asked for cebolla asada and repeated it twice and i received my tacos with no cebolla asada. I have never had a problem with this place until now.
That pregnant lady overcharged me of TWO plates that were 7.45 EACH!! She charged me 8 tacos which I had ordered over the phone and I LITERALLY called like 30 seconds later and told her to cancel it and take the order of the two plates! To my surprise I ended up paying 17.23!!! So sick of this place and when I went to confront her about it she had this damn UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE. and her excuse for her not to give me the correct total that she didn’t have the “code” to change it. AND THE PLATE COMES WITH 3 TACOS WITH THE SIDE OF RICE AND BEANS! HOW DOES 7.45 ON BOTH PLATES ADD UP TO 17.23???!
This place stole 32 dollars from me. I was in the drive thru and the girl working charged me someone else’s bill. 54 dollars worth of food that I did not order. Only ordered two things that Wells supposed to be around 23 dollars. She refused to refund my money. Said that the manger would do it later. Still have not received any money back. We were regular customers. Not going back. Just going to file a dispute with my bank at this point.
I’ll never eat somewhere that charges customers to pay
I asked for order #5. The enchiladas looked and tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. The two tacos were supposedly tripas, it was five pieces of fat. I was so dissapointed and disgusted. The people that take the order is so rude. She almost threw the bag at me and shut the window quickly. same personality as the kids from Don Taco down the street.
I wanted to surprise My husband with a good lengua taco plate instead they gave him something else and he was so disappointed I have always enjoyed my food from here makes me think that I may not return I so sad to say that
The food was cold I waited 45 minutes in drive through
I am very honest and forthcoming with my reviews. Typically I wait some time before speaking up, however when you experience poor service and quality it requires immediate attention. As a former customer service representative I believe every customer are in some cases right and as a professional even if they are not you solve a problem regardless. It takes a level of business understanding to respond to a customer that is acting inappropriate. However when you are providing a service and a customer is not happy with that service you fix it, period. In this case the customer service level here is the lowest I have seen. They do not believe in providing quality service or atleast edible food for their customers. You take what you get and trust me the quality is at an all time low. There is absolutely no excuse to be a small establishment and serve the worst food. I would drive by at normally busy lunch hours and there were never a crowd. That should have been a huge clue that something was wrong. I wanted some Mexican food and this was close, big mistake. Stay away from this location because you will not be treated as a valued customer and the food is terrible. I am not the only person to find this place a horrible example of Mexican food the reviews speak for themselves.
I recently started working in this area and was excited to see Cesar’s tacos because the food is always so good. I’ve gone 3 times now and each time the lady taking the orders and at the window is EXTREMELY rude. Very impatient and has an attitude. I thought it was just me so last week I sent my coworker to get my food. She came back and said “the lady at the window is so mean” I won’t be going back to that location.
This place has the worst customer service and food. I ordered street tacos, received tough chicken with cheese no lettuce, tomato, just red chicken that looked like cheetos. The price 19.00. When I requested a refund the manager tells me they don't do refunds no one ever asked for one. How funny with the terrible reviews. No where on the menu does it say no refunds. To add insult this terrible manager says she appreciated my business, but refused the refund. It is not a place to get quality Mexican food it is a place that lacks all standards of quality Mexican cuisine. Black people stay away from here or any one that wants quality Mexican food, this is not it. The food and service is terrible.
Consistency! Consistency! Consistency! is not something you typically get at Cesar's Tacos in Duncanville anymore. I've been a patron here for nearly 10 years, and the #28 super nachos were my favorite item. It was a frequent stop for me given the late night hours they stay open. Pictured with my review is what the nachos use to look like, they were great! 5 years ago I would have rated this place 5/5 for bang for the buck - service although friendly will leave you questioning competence as again, you will be hard pressed to find consistency in both the cooking, as well as your order being correct. Going to this place is literally like gambling, Hit it on a good night your order both correct and is piping hot and fresh and it's a wonderful experience, the travesty is when you go back expecting the same thing and your order of the same exact item taste completely different because they over seasoned the beef that day or the guac taste like nothing but pure lime paste instead of guac, Or when you make it home to find out that they didn't include any sauce at all to your order or you find out you ordered a combo of meat and they charged you for it but you only got one protein. Here lately there have been boxes of nachos passed through that window that should have NEVER hit a customers hand, completely cold, unmelted cheese, incredibly stale chips. Half the size as times as it normally is. And don't get me started on the ice cold soggy crunchy tacos I recently received that were SO bad they ended up in a trash can. Unfortunately there are now more cons than pros to this place. I will not be returning anytime soon. It is a sad day to see this place go up in price and down in quality.
Always check food , they give you the sauce they want you to have even if red sauce is too spicy. I always buy extra guacamole but never get it. I have large chucks of fat on my fajita nachos. West dallas location is way better.
arrived at this location at 12:36am, cashier was unprofessional and rude, it’s 1:05 am and i’m still at the drive thru waiting for my order
Rude service I guess you have to be Hispanic to get respect which is very unfair and sad. I have only ever been respectful and I have received no service choice at this location. I have sat at the speaker and been ignored for five minutes on two occasions. Please have a heart and don’t judge people for their color. It’s not fun when that’s done to you. You have lost pretty loyal customer.
Barbacoa was fatty and flavorless and beans were salty. Only came here cause City View was closed. This place use to be good but quality has declined over the years. Won't be returning
They only give you 5 tortillas for a pound of meat!! When you order a half pound you also get 5 tortillas! It doesn’t make sense. They chargw you extra for tortillas. Food is decent but I’m keeping it one star until they fix it
They take so long, and there drive thru speaker suck they couldn't hear what I was saying. Then they also had the audacity to give a completely different order, this place sucks if you don't understand or speak Spanish and don't want to wait don't go.
Honestly, the service is the worst. I placed an order through the window over an hour ago and I've been here in my car for over an hour waiting for my food. They need to hire more staff to be faster and more efficient.
I spent 20 minutes in the drive thru. I paid and asked for queso liquid queso on side. I get home and they put extra cold un-melted cheese on my nachos. Now I have to microwave my cold nachos to melt the cheese. Who wants microwave meals that are supposed to be hot. Unbelievable never going back
I don't mind spending money on food, as long as it's good .was very disappointed there Agua fresca was going to be out of date . I got to my job site , I really thought I was going to enjoy my food , was very disappointed , I got 5 tacos only ate 1. just because it says tacos , does not mean there food is good . Really think twice on going .
Ordered the taco plate to go and I didn’t even get to eat my food because their was a hair in my rice and I know it wasn’t mine because their beans were covering part of the rice and when I moved it over the hair was there. Called to complain and all they said was they would replace the rice and beans. Keep in mind, I live 20 min away. You want me to drive all the way back for rice and beans?! How do I not know if there’s something else in my food? And you can’t even replace the whole plate. After I spent over $20. Definitely will not be going back.
the worst restaurant to buy elote from what type of elote is this honestly looks like they didn’t even put no effort on doing it right also i ordered 2 small and both of them look so bad and the other one wasn’t even filled all the way to the top even if it was a small one never again ordering a elote from this place!!!
Close to an hour wait from them taking my order at the speaker to getting my food. My LO took a bite and said it tasted funny, well we got burnt buns. Customer service was the worst i have ever seen, eye rolling to a paying customer asking what drinks are available. Had to repeat my order like 4 times at the speaker, crazy. Was already close to home for me to go back and pull a Karen.
