I decided to stop here for lunch on my way back from work and was impressed by how beautiful the town and this restaurant were. The restaurant gives off a classic American atmosphere like you were in the 80s. The employees were polite and nice and the food was delicious! I ordered the Bacon Bleu Cheese burger, and it was juicy and perfectly seasoned. Would totally recommend to anyone passing by to give it a try.

During our trip to Mt Shasta, I was craving for some burger and onion rings. While looking for a burger joint I found this place and saw that it was closing in half an hour. Got into the car and drove off. It was almost closing time so they informed us that it will be a takeout order only. We ordered the burger with mushrooms and the Ortega chili burger with onion rings and fries. The burgers were yummy and the small fries and onion rings were plentiful and really good. In the menu there were burgers of all kinds, quarter pound, 1/6 pound, double etc. I loved it and highly recommend this place.

Great burgers with friendly service. After a morning hike we had an early lunch on a Sunday. The girl at the counter was friendly and answered our questions, and brought our food out to us on the patio. When we went back in to order soft serve she even washed her hands before serving us which I was surprised and happy to see. Would stop here again!

“A Must-Stop Every Time We Travel!” My family came in from out of town, and we all agreed—Burger Barn has the best burgers we’ve ever had! The food was absolutely incredible, from the perfectly cooked burgers to the fresh toppings and golden fries. The service was friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home. We travel up I-5 to Oregon often, and now Burger Barn is officially one of our main stops. Every trip will include a stop here because the experience was just that good. Amazing food, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere—you can’t ask for more.

Burger Barn strongly reminds me of Dari Delight in Morgan Hill. A nonchain private restaurant. Dari Delight was where I enjoyed my first hamburger. Whenever returning from San Francisco "The City by the Bay" in the early 1960s we would always stop at Dari Delight where the tall grey haired lady would prepare the tasty burger orders over the fire grill. Before Burger King. Burger Barn in Dunsmuir is my go to stop over when visiting this historic town.

We had a very good lunch with the bacon blue burger and some nuggets! The fries could use a little more seasoning but they were crunchy! And Ally was delightful, thanks again!

The toppings were fresh, the bun was soft yet perfectly toasted, and the service was fast and friendly. If you’re traveling through the area and craving a burger that blows everything else out of the water, this is the place to stop. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience.

The curly fries are so good, but the regular fries are sort of spongey. And when you order a burger or sandwich it comes with the regular fries no matter what. I love the milkshakes here, I used to get Huckleberry but they don't have it anymore. I got the blackberry and it had real fruit in it, 10/10! The crispy chicken sandwich reminds me of school lunches 😂 cafeteria food. But this is the perfect place to come after a hike.

I would definitely come back here but not get the Ortega burger, it didnt have much flavor. Next time I will get the double cheeseburger like my husband. He said it was delicious. The cashier was very nice and our food was brought out to us. If you have the time to stop and dine, this is a great place in a cute town close to Mt Shasta.

The burger was pretty good I got the blue cheese burger they could have put a little less spices on the burger and I'm not sure why they put thousand Island with blue cheese but nine out of 10 on the burger. We stopped for lunch on a road trip up to Oregon. The patio is dog friendly and they have water bowls throughout which was nice. The food was mid but the ice cream and shakes are delicious and amazing. Plus they hit the spot considering how hot it was (95 degrees) when we stopped.
