I was skeptical of visiting this coffee place because it seemed like it was tied to the Urgent Care Hospital, but it ended up being secluded despite being in the same building. I ordered a raspberry mocha and my boyfriend got a smores one. We also each ordered a breakfast sandwich and everything just tasted so amazing. The outdoor walking path and swinging chairs made the moment extra enjoyable. I would definitely go back.

We ordered a breakfast burrito and a iced coffee but we didn’t get the burrito so we asked about it and the super nice staff figured it out and we were able to get the burrito for free 5 stars amazing staff and decor

Great tasting coffee and service! The baristas and owner were very friendly and welcoming. I'm not in Edina that often, but when I am I would definitely stop in again.

No ice cream, broken. So next best thing, strawberry banana smoothie. And I'm waiting for an appointment with my doctor so they made a delicious smoothie and brought it to my table near the clinic !!!

Nice little shop in the amazing Centennial Park, with a shaded, landscaped courtyard, tables and chairs, doggie water, and really good choices between the ice cream and coffee drinks.

My wife and I have been frequent flyers at Ambrosia Coffee for years. The food is excellent, great staff, the best ice cream and the setting is very welcoming. The Centennial Lake area is an environment for all seasons, this Coffee Shop fits perfectly! The owner is also a great guy and friend.

I have recently discovered this gem of a coffee shop in Edina! It has now become a routine stop on our walking route over the caribou and Starbucks in the Centennial Lakes Park area. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dave, and he recommended an iced coffee and that paired perfectly with the fresh sweets we picked out of their bakery! Whether you want to stop in for a coffee, a cone (Ice Cream), or some brunch, Ambrosia Coffee is the spot!

I was in the building for an appointment and saw their sandwich board signs in the lobby, which grabbed my attention and made me want coffee! I ordered a small medium roast with cream. The barista had it ready for me before I even paid. She was very thoughtful and took great care to get the coffee-to-cream ratio just right. She put a to-go stopper over the hole in the lid anticipating that I was on my way out to my car - something I’ve found you have to ask for specifically at other coffee chains even in the drive-thru! I really appreciated that little touch. And to top it all off, the coffee was delicious! It was just medium roast with cream, but the flavor was so rich it almost tasted like a mocha! Delightful!

Truly a hidden gem with wonderful views of the lake and fantastic coffee. The owner and employees were very friendly and prompt. Supporting a local business instead of the big coffee chains is a plus as well!

During the end of our walk, we stumbled on to this gem of a place for ice cream! Had a great chat with the owner, Dave, who has lots of recommendations for any city you can name I guess! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area craving ice cream or coffee!

Cool little cafe. Simple menu, great food and fantastic chia lattes. Gonna have to visit in the summer when the patio is open. With the pond and walking path it would make for a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Once you find it (inside the medical building) the setting is so beautiful! The owner and staff are fabulous, and most importantly, the coffee is fantastic. Stop in and take your coffee for a stroll around the lake--what a gem!!

I found this place delightful!!! The only problem is there is very limited signage:( due to the hospital contracts:( It is in the hospital downstairs. There is a place to walk outside around the lake or sit and rock next to it.

Excellent best ever smothies.Very good food , bagel breakfast is good,, daily specials. Love the cold n hot coffee. Always enjoy going here when walking centinental lakes or visiting the doctors offices in bldg. Very friendly staff. 🙂

THE BEST COFFEESHOP EVER:) I have brought my mom and a bunch of friends here and none of them have ever left without being surprised by how good their drinks were! I always get their Americano (decaf or regular) and it goes down so smooth! Also, my friends have loved their chai tea latte as well as their iced teas! Additionally, their location (right on Centenniel Lake) is perfect for grabbing a coffee and walking around the lake!

I had the Club Sandwich when I stopped in and it was tall, hearty, fresh, and made with CARE. It was worth every penny and inspired me to sit down later to write this review. Stop in, take a breathe, enjoy the nature, and have an outstanding coffee/sandwich/ice cream. ANY of these will enhance your day.

This edina medical building is lucky to have ambrosia cafe available for their workers and all patients, family. More of a place you would go if you already had need to be in the building or if you appreciate the space and may be walking in the area. I had an iced mocha coffee ($5), which tasted great and an equally good all day breakfast sandwich- only $6. They had decent lunch options on the menu as well. The owner was extremely nice and not only conversed with me after sitting down at my table, but I watched him walk up to converse with every customer that came whether they were in line or at their table, he made sure everyone had what they needed and were satisfied. You can tell he has a great love and energy for his business. The cafe itself isn’t anything too fancy but comfortable and many options for seating. Also noticed they have some games to pass the time. Drink vending machine and fridge with more options for drinks, snack vending machine available too. Another entrance available from the backside of the building where there is a beautiful scenic pond, swings and benches for seating. Great urban walking trails surrounding as well

Inside the Urgent Care building. It was so crowded I decided to find another place.

First off, approaching from France Ave, you enter the medical building and go down 1 level. During warmer months it would much more enjoyable to walk the trail around Centennial Lake and approach from lakeside ground level. The service was good even though menu options are limited. When we asked for vegetarian breakfast sandwiches they offered extra egg or cheese in place of meat. It would have been even better if they offered hot sauce 😋 The lattes were decent with 2 nondairy milk alternatives. Atmosphere inside is OK and improved by facing the lake. Outdoor greenery should look great during growing seasons and today there were ice skaters on the ice. Lovely view, especially considering most coffee shops look out to a parking lot.

The website does not mention that this coffee shop is part of the Allina clinic. Access is not direct. It has the vibe of a clinic coffee shop. A great convenience for clinic users or perhaps those walking around the little lake nearby but not a great place to swing in for coffee. Don’t come here if you have a tight schedule. It doesn’t matter if they’re busy or not, they often forget orders and I’ve had to wait 20 minutes on two separate occasions for small orders. The workers are nice , but there is a lack of professionalism and urgency. For how expensive their food is, it’s not worth it.

I ordered an espresso drink and it was so bitter that I just threw it out and went without coffee. That is saying a lot. It qas the worse coffe I have ever had. I had my mom taste it and she said it was the worst coffee she has ever had (without prompting. I gave them 2 stars because the food was just fine and the people were friendly.

Not open when we arrived on June 11, 1:30 pm. Sign said "Sorry we are following protocols."

Food is good, however your prices are extremely expensive, I could see if you were getting a meal, but $9.50 for one waffle is expensive. For 2 eggs cost about the same for a dozen of eggs. Coffee cost more than Starbucks and caribou, service is slow, 20 minute's for a deli sandwich is extremely long.

I was not impressed with this coffee shop. The girls at the counter were nice, but one of them pulled out her phone multiple times and was texting right in front of the pastries like she could care less about helping customers. This coffee shop was also way too expensive. We spent almost $30 for 2 coffees, 1 pastry and 1 grilled cheese. The coffee was ok, but the food was not that good. The sandwich needed some more seasoning or salt and the danish tasted old and like something you would buy at the gas station. We will definitely not be returning. I would recommend Munka Beans in Hopkins or Depot Coffee if you like small coffee shops.

If you have to eat some place and you have time go someplace else. The Expensive sandwich deemed a deli? sandwich was nothing more than I could make at home. In fact I could make a better one at home because they served it dry, and didn't have any mustard, mayonnaise or ketchup to put on it. Also the promised water glasses never materialized.

Needs to actually be accessible from walkable spaces, super disappointed that they aren't. Wasn't down to have to navigate the maze of stairs and parking to go into the front of the building.
