Great place for breakfast or lunch. I had the Big Breakfast Burrito. Some of the best flour tortillas I've ever tasted. Good selection of Mexican drinks as well. Definitely recommend if you're in El Cajon.

Stopped by Pancho’s Authentic Mexican Grill and tried the pork tacos. The meat was flavorful, well-seasoned, and came with fresh toppings that made it a satisfying meal. Portions were solid for the price, and everything came out hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and efficient, which made the visit smooth. It’s a casual spot with a relaxed vibe, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Overall, not the absolute best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but definitely a strong option in the area. If you’re craving authentic tacos in the area, Pancho’s is worth a stop.

One of my 3 favorite Mexican food places in this area. Lots of dining space with Indoor and outdoor areas. Food is pretty good with massive menu. Prices are a little higher than most on this area.

Making this review isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I must admit, the customer service at this establishment has been exceptional both times I’ve been there. The restaurant is clean and inviting, which is why I gave the service and atmosphere a 5. Now, let’s talk about the food and prices. My first time here was a treat. The food was a bit pricey compared to other taco shops I enjoy, but I thought it was worth it considering the deliciousness. However, my second visit was a complete letdown. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but my wife and I both felt like the food didn’t quite hit the same mark as it did the first time. They also give free chips with your order, which are very good! My rolled tacos were particularly disappointing. They were dry and lacked flavor. My wife even mentioned that her tacos tasted like the restaurant’s cleaning supplies, which I didn’t quite agree with. In fact, I enjoyed her shrimp tacos more than my own rolled tacos. Overall, I feel like this restaurant is a bit hit or miss. I hope they can improve the consistency, because the first night I had some of the best rolled tacos I’ve ever had. For a price of $50 for 10 supreme rolls and three shrimp tacos, I don’t think I’m getting anything “supreme” about the rolled tacos, and the shrimp tacos were just okay. To me It’s a steep price for the quality I’m getting. In conclusion, I hope the restaurant doesn’t take offense to my honest review of my visits. I feel compelled to be truthful, regardless of my personal preferences.

My order was a carne asada fries 18$ current price so pretty pricy. I know that’s around a little bit above average price. So I was expecting a pact plate. What I received was disappointing for that price all it had was piles of sour cream and cheese. This is not my biggest concern it is that they use not a flat plate but the plates you get from panda separated sections to limit the amount of food. Overall 5/10 on food quality. 5/10 quantity of the food. It says theirs guac, but I did not taste any at all it just taste like sour cream. Service was great fast and ready. Beautiful interior.

Enjoyed a late lunch and my Pollo Asada Quesadilla was massive. Dipped in Pancho’s green mild salsa. Appreciated every greasy bite. I would encourage the staff to show themselves to be friendly as it would have made the experience much better. I would go back. 💯

$15.00 for a burrito 🌯 is highway robbery. I paid $16.00 and some change.Bathrooms were clean and the salsa bar was amazing. I got a surf and turf burrito no cheese no rice, the burrito itself was eh ok not the best I've ever had. Rating this place and food from a scale 1-10 a. 5.7. not bad but not good. Too pricey.

Just paid around $50 for DoorDash to deliver some rolled tacos. They had been dropped back in the fryer at least twice. Dark brown, so hard they were almost inedible. So disappointed. What happened to Los Panchos?? :(

Picked up some menudo to go and discovered it was not very much in the container and for the price. Panchos use to be the place for menudo but I guess not anymore, barely got bowl full and for almost $19. I would normally drive to spring valley ( yes that good ) but didn’t feel like make the drive and you can get the pata on the side for less than $20 and always have leftovers, you get plenty for your money. Live in learn!

Used to be my favorite place but over the last few years quality and service has gone way down as price has shot through the roof. Just went for the last time and ordered a burrito which came out incorrect. Once I asked about it I was met with nothing but attitude and misunderstanding saying it's my fault for ordering it. Won't be going back when San Diego has so many better options

This was our go to taco shop but lately the food has been mediocre. Idk if they have a new cook/cooks in the kitchen but the food coming out of the kitchen is ridiculous. The burritos are all tortilla and depending on which one you get, all sour cream or beans and hardly any meat. This was a Carne Asada burrito I got yesterday and look how skimpy it is for the price I paid. The burritos have continuously gone down hill for the past few months. We've also received fries half raw and really soggy rolled tacos.
