This informal restaurant in the heart of el Cardonal has incredible food! The menu selection includes sushi rolls, seafood dishes, pasta, and hamburgers. We started with a sushi roll. For the main course we ordered the grilled garlic sea bass, which came on a bed of mashed potatoes and fresh grilled vegetables. We also had the fresh vegetarian fettuccine with pistachio sauce. It was all very delicious! For alcohol they make a great margarita. They do not carry beer or wine, but you are welcome to bring your own.

We had a fantastic experience! Although it's a bit out of the way, it was worth it, and we'll be back! The sushi is delicious, prepared to perfection, and the attention to detail goes into the process. The service was also excellent. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the burger was delicious! You can tell the chef puts his heart into what he does, and he was also incredibly attentive and pleasant. We loved this beautiful little place!

Restaurante el Cheff is very nice sushi place. Service was fast and variety in menu is quite decent. The chief specialty for a group of people was a great decision. Driving from Los Barriles was definitely worth it.

Nice option in a somewhat remote area. Service was fast and efficient. Pasta dishes are delicious and beautifully served. Menus is different from the typical restaurants (risotto, home made pasta, etc.) Lunch was a bit pricy however. USD 52 for two pasta dishes (one with veggies and the other with chicken) and limonades.

Great place. I worked at a sushi bar in Los Angeles for 7 years and have eaten lots of sushi all over the world. This is a great find and worth the visit. Ask for the chefs special.

Don’t miss out on this amazing sushi place! This was the best sushi we have ever had. They had fresh yellow tail and did fantastic chef specials for the group. It was a small place with nice outdoor seating and very clean. It’s well worth the drive. The chef was friendly and welcoming. He also made great margaritas too.
