first time coming here, service was fine. I ordered a border chicken bowl, and idk if maybe i ordered the wrong thing but it was kinda terrible. The chicken was flavor less, and soggy. It kinda tasted like it was boiled because it had 0 seasoning or crispness. Im unsure what I expected but this was NOT it. Again, I really didn’t have a problem w the place just what I ordered was not good. The salsa has WAYY too much tomatillo that sauce practically tastes like it was made with sour patch kids and jalapeños. also it was like 17$ for both things, just a bowl n a drink. I dont really have a problem w the price but for the food? not worth it. p.s. idk who needs to hear this but there should NOT be carrot in a border bowl its not a salad

Fisrst time here Took around 15 min to prepare a lettuce burger with a slice of chicken. empty place no costumers around noon. Not recommended

AVOID THIS LOCATION. Workers need to be trained up on how to properly DO their jobs. How can they be so LAZY and RUDE. Their customer service is complete GARBAGE while food is being prepared POORLY. $80+ for POOR servings. The UPPER VALLEY & SUNLAND PARK locations are WAY better.

Their drive thru is trash. Their food or process is not designed like a normal fast food restaurant. Expect to be in line for more than ten mins with only two cars ahead.

Took over 30 minutes and they were rude as hell they were even trying to hide in the back as if they didn't want to do my order they need to fire these people

I had avoided giving them business since 2021 due to poor service. I drove from home 8 miles to pick up and get home only to find out salsa and onions were missing. I should have checked at pick up, but I payed for a complete meal not a partial meal!! Should not require to check people's daily tasks. I finally gave in , Nov 2025. I think their chicken is well prepared just horrible service and overpriced. WELL!!! they did it to ME again!!!! Don't do this to a hard worker and starving person. Never again will I give them my business. Is this common for Don Carbon???? I called management but the advise was drive back.... a 16 mile round trip during rush hour, really, please. Starving worker!!!

workers were nice but quality of food and wait time was terrible. i don’t usually write reviews but this was hands down the worst burrito i’ve had in my life, which is super disappointing for it being in el paso. i wish i had read the most recent reviews before coming here. it took us 20 minutes in the drive thru to get super hard tortillas, hard instant rice, hard canned beans, and tough meat, plus the grill was filthy and you can tell it hasn’t been cleaned recently. idk why it took so long for the food to be made given the quality of it. it was difficult to eat given how hard it was. recommend qdoba over this.

Payed $14 for 8 wings that barely any sauce, some wings didn’t even have any. The wings were super dry and lukewarm, sad excuse for wings.

Worst experience ever had with them. A Cockroach landed on my plate from the ceiling!! And to top it off the manager was accusing me of yelling at her, when I was only raising my voice due to them having loud fans and a big portable ac unit next to the cashier. When I tried to explain that I was not yelling at her the manager “Esperanza” kept shutting me out. I have on video when you can clearly hear how loud the fans are. I need to speak with someone higher than her because she clearly doesn’t do well with customer service. I had to complain to a different location and they agree “Esperanza” was in the wrong.

Wow. What a steal... I got an 8 pieces combo and they gave me 3 tiny legs. They're the same size of a jalapeño!! And those are considered 1 pieces???? That's ridiculous

I ordered through the drive throu, waited there for more than 10 minutes for my food, they took care of more than 3 dine in customers, I nocked on the window and that is when they came up to me and I asked them why was it taking so long, the 2 employees with a really bad attitude replied it was because the dine in customers have the priority, and that we the customers who ordered on the drive throu are not as important as the dine in customers. Wich I replied "ok well I'm gonna white a bad review" and he said "do what you want" really rude employees there. First and last time at that location for me.

We’ve been loyal customers of Don Carbon for a long time because the chicken used to be really good quality. Unfortunately, the last few times we’ve visited (at least 4 times recently), the chicken has not been fully cooked — some pieces were still raw. It’s disappointing to see how much the quality has gone down. Sadly, we can’t recommend it anymore.

Just ordered delivery from this place. Did not receive my complete order but the bag is stapled shut with the receipt showing I paid for all items. When I called to see what they could do, the only suggestion I received was to come pick the items up myself. Obviously I ordered delivery because I cannot travel at this time. Sylvia Lopez, the assistant manager refused to comp the missing items. We absolutely love this place and come here often but they clearly do not need my business.

The food has gone down hill. I bought 2 orders of beef and chicken fajitas. The chicken was a bit under cooked and very salty. The steak and picadillo were lacking flavor. The baked potatoes were burned and the tortillas are never cooked properly. The Charro beans are 90 percent water. The grilled jalapeños have a weird lemon pepper dirty grill taste. Won't be back.
