All of their pizza selection is phenomenal, have a huge wine selection, great beers selection as well.
My experience there was sensational. Lately there has been such a relaxing vibe. I usually go with my wife super late at night for our weekly pizza ritual and always enjoy ourselves with immaculate food. The service here has always been on point. Congratulations on such a great staff.
Excellent service. Pizza’s were delayed but the staff was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Also very tasty!
Fantastic sauce Amazing flavor!! Had the turkey sandwich, half lasagna, pepperoni pizza, bread appetizers and Caesar salad. The Lasagna is a must try! Get an appetizer cause it will be a good wait and be sure to get your waiters attention for refills or else you won't see him till your food arrives.
Stephanie was awesome! My margarita pizza was ready right on time, and she had such a great vibe. Super friendly and made picking up my to-go order really easy. Thanks again!
Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in El Paso! The decor is great, the service is good and the food is just fabulous! Everything I've tried here is top notch and the amount of food for the cost is a real winner! The lunch menu is especially a great bargain! A full size salad and sandwich for $12...enough to feed 2 ppl easily! The antipasto appetizer could also feed 2-3 ppl as a meal and is so inexpensive! Don't skip out on the dessert spumoni either! It is the best around- tastes fabulous and is a large 3 scoop serving plenty to share. Did I mention everything tastes fabulous?!?! One of my fav restaurants in all of El Paso!!
First time dining at Ardovinos Wow! My sweetheart and I arrived early enough to run on to Robert, the owner, in the parking lot. He was congenial and welcoming. I would give the atmosphere an one hundred and eleven if I could. Farah was our server. Lovely, helpful, smart and witty. We ordered the charcuterie board. One of the most adventurous and tasty experiences. The gnocchi with short ribs was exceptional. We live in Dona Ana. An hour and a quarter drive. After last night's meal it doesn't seem that far.
I've been out of El Paso for about 25 years. Prior to that I always enjoyed Ardovinos delicious food. I was all over the country for the past 25 years and recently relocated back to my hometown of El Paso. I of course had to go back to Adovinos and eat some of that nostalgic food from my college days. My god, what a treat, it was as delicious or more than I remembered. I had the caprese salad, meatballs, and garlic bread to start with. Afterward my friend and I split a couple small pizzas. One was green chili with ricotta and the other was meatball. What I love is their meatballs are 100% beef. Both pizzas were so delicious. For dessert we had a nice cannaloni. It has a wonderful mascorpone cheese with chocolate chips. The setting and restaurant was quaint and clean with a nice rustic feel. The service was exceptional and excellent. Highly recommend this place over and over again. Thank you Mike and crew!!! A+!!
The food was amazing as usual!! Our bus boy was a better server than our actual server, which is why I rated the service only 3 stars.the server had the personality and friendliness of a wet mop. One of our pizzas was brought to our table cold. But the bus boy was fabulous, very attentive, you could tell he was a hard worker. My husband tipped him for his efforts but not the server. Her efforts were minimal at best.
I will start by saying that the pizza is delicious. It has a great crunch and the toppings taste fresh and of high quality. The flavors meld perfectly in every bite. My reviews are solely based on flavor and nothing else, however, I have to advise that if you are buying pizza for more than two people, then I highly recommend multiple. The medium sized pizzas are quite small and you might be left hungry since they are thin crust.
Ardovino's is probably the best pizza place in El Paso for me, not just the food, but also the service. Ordered again my favorite No.8 ARUGULA & PROSCIUTTO, asked for extra Prosciutto, you know what, they served whole another 3 giant pieces of it, and the waitress said, "we're not joking 😃". I fully agreed, they're not joking, love it!!!
Oh man, what a disappointment. First visit. My wife worked at this location back in the day, she was really excited to bring me. Came for a late lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was pretty rough. Didn’t start off well. Nothing goes you confidence that your meal is going to be good like the waitress not writing it down and having to turn around and come back to ask you what you wanted to eat. So I’d say a pretty rough start. My wife ordered a drink, so did I, mine was a fountain soda, came out quick. Only my wife’s drink was in a bottle but it was obvious that our waitress forgot about it because she proceeded to sit down and get on her phone, my wife had to go out and ask for our drink. Now it took like almost 20 minutes for our 10” pizza to come out, which I found really odd when I saw it and realized it’s a pretty thin pizza. So naturally, what happens with thin pizza when it’s been sitting out for awhile? It gets cold. In our case it was maybe room temp. I honestly didn’t think too much of it because it tasted fine, but then we received our 2 Togo pizzas that we ordered for my wife’s parents a few minutes before we left, we opened the boxes and they were EXTREMELY hot. So considering we saw the waitress sitting on her phone checking Facebook, it’s pretty safe to assume that she lost track of time and our pizza was sitting in the ready area before it came out and either there are no warming lamps for the pizzas (because it’s pizza there should never be a warming lamp) and/or it sat there for the entire 20 minutes just cooling down to room temperature. As a final note, put napkin holders on the tables. It makes no sense to me why this Resturant pre-rolls their silverware into a single napkin when they only have 1 item on the menu that specifically requires a fork and knife, the lasagna. Perhaps 2 items, I assume they had a salad section. 90% of the business would appear to be pizza, with a pizza that isn’t messy by design, so how many customers will use a knife and fork, I wouldn’t think a large amount. Maybe we’ll give it a second chance. But that was a pretty rough first impression. If I wanted bad Pizza, I’d just go to a chain place and pay $10.
We got the 4-Seasons large pizza, pretty disappointing. It wasn't hot when it arrived, the cheese and sauce looked old and dry. The sausage didn't really have any flavor, probably because it was in bits. The garlic bread was OK. I've had better pizza and garlic bread elsewhere. Server was great and the atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon was pretty chill. Small chance of coming back and trying a different pizza.
Pretty decent spot. Parking is a hassle, but the service isn’t bad and the pizza and appetizer was pleasant. It was not busy when I visited so there were no delays whatsoever, but I do have a pal that told me it gets a little hectic from time to time. I’ve been to several locations, but this was hands down my favorite. Order an oily dish and wash it down with a sweet bubbly Lambrusco.
I ordered a customize pizza very bland flavor. They sprinkle oregano on top of my toppings. Yuck. I was not offer chili pepper or parmesan cheese for my takeout. The crust super thin, which I did not request. Attendees were courteous and took my takeout order quick. The entrance needs to be clean lots of debris on the entrance carpet. Overall, I would not returned the seasoning is quite off. Over price as well.
when you sit at the bar and the hostess is behind the bar and pretends he doesn't see you there is a problem. ok so I draw his attention that I am sitting directly in front of him to get water and a menu. 5 minutes later I'm still waiting for someone to take my order. Hire people that know what to do and how to respond to customers. 8pm to 8.18pm Monday
This was my favorite place for pizza and a salad. On Tuesday 9/17/24 around 5pm I placed an order for pickup, pizza and a salad. I served myself a plate of salad, and I noticed it smelled off. I dug through the salad and found that they put a bunch of blackened rotting pieces of lettuce hidden at the bottom of the salad. The whole salad went in the trash. Very disappointed in Ardovino's
Horrible over priced food! Ordered a calzone and it’s terrible, looks like they are pre made with deli meat thrown together. No taste or herbs or spices. It’s totally flavorless. For such an upscale pizza place this is unacceptable! Owners need to do some quality control. I’ve had hot pockets better than this stuff!
