It's the holidays honey baked ham is great

I called the honey baked ham store to order food and even though they were closed today, they allowed us to come down and get what we needed. The young attendant, Zoe, was amazing. She was so gracious, eager to help and explained all of their products in great detail. And all with a huge smile. I have to say that this was beyond excellent service and I would highly recommend going to this location as you will not be disappointed. As a former store owner, I have to say that it is so rare to see someone so eager to help and so knowledgeable and we really appreciate that.

So I'm not a fan of turkey at all however; I will eat and rather enjoy the SMOKED turkey from The Honey Baked Ham Company. This turkey has changed my Thanksgiving meals for life and of course, I will always buy their honey ham. I love it. Thanksgiving isn't Thanksgiving without the honey ham. I like the boneless ham because in my weird brain that means I get more meat without all of that pesky bone in the way🤭. That's not true of course. Anyway, point being I love the food and highly recommend it for any gathering.💖 My husband also loves their 🥓 bacon!

Not your average run of the mill "sub" place, this cafe has delicious sandwiches, which I think is due to the meat being their signature ingredient. Not your standard bland deli meat sandwich, the southwest turkey sandwich had me wanting to come back again, and soon!

Update: the owner responded. She claims that she was checking in to see if I was doing alright, not true. She stared at me until I asked if there was an issue and she then asked me if I was eating. I told her yes and then she said she was the owner. She also claims I was there for “hours”. Not even What a shame. I use to come here Monday through Friday and I always get a snack until the owner was really rude and asked me what I was doing sitting down on my laptop.

Food is amazing but walking in on owner or manager grueling employee about not being able to work because of her daughter not having a babysitter.. manager was not handling situation well and seemed very disrespectful I get about needing people to work but there is a professional way to approach certain situations. As I am currently hearing this manager continues interrupting employee about what she is trying to explain.. threatening termination just because she needs to take care of her daughter is actually crazy.. also as I’m here listening to this she (manager or owner) noticed me listening in and lowered her voice and switched languages to continue grueling this employee.. manager or owner do better… learn how to talk with respect to your employees. Her attitude ruined my day… Thank you.

We were going to go for lunch but the sign on the door said masks were absolutely required. My husband went in and checked and they said yes, no mask no service. We went somewhere else. We aren’t letting a restaurant take away our constitutional rights over wanting a sandwich. You’ll lose all kinds of business! Hope you go broke over these draconian business practices!

Not very happy with how they handled the Christmas Eve. I walked in to pick up my 10lb ham they mentioned they didn't have the 10lb that I ordered but they could give me two 5 lbs. Which came out to be $65.00 more then original price from the 10 lbs. I have bought every year and never spent that amount. I have tried to call since after Christmas and no answer. This isn't about the food it's about the service. Have emailed several times regarding this issue and didn't receive a response. 2/7/25

Driver almost killed me!! I was driving on the i10 highway and Honey Ham Business car tried to run me off the road and nearly killed me I have all this captured on dash cam I was on the way home from work! I followed driver to establishment to speak with store manager/owner “Erma” and was met with with rude attitude & no concern for her driver or the business and told me I was lying after showing her the dash cam footage Hope this management gets fixed LAWSUIT incoming!!

Been coming here for 20 years, it took 30 minutes to get our food. They didn't have our bread, so we substituted with what they had which was stale. The ham salad was laden with mayo...inedible. Chicken salad wasn't better. Food just has gone downhill. Tried to talk to the manager, Manny Gutierrez, and he was so rude. Told us they didn't need customers like us, but after the food we had today, that won't be a problem.

Ordered a frozen turkey from this location and went to get it today. When my husband went to pick it up they tried to give him the wrong order, sliced instead of whole. They finally found the whole turkey and he brought it home, and it was the wrong type of turkey, roasted not smoked. He called and they said he could return the roasted to the store, but smoked wasn't available and he could order one to be available in 3 weeks! At this point there was not much of a choice, but they said they would give a discount on the order. When he got to the store the owner was there and said they could only order the turkey to be ready in November and the only discount they would give was 15% on the new order; nothing else for wasted time and gas. I am really disappointed in this location and the way that this was handled. I now have an order in for November, but cannot even trust that they will have a turkey then either. All I can do is hope. This is a very bad way to do business, and to not even care about the customers time and effort to drive back and forth is really upsetting.

They close early not according to schedule. Never have the staple items. Especially the soup. This franchise is ran way differently than the cities I've visited and became to love honey-baked ham. Not a franchise model but rather how they personally want to run it. Can't blame it on the workers but can definitely blame the leadership!

I had always had a good experience at this location. But this year I had a very unpleasant with a woman that works there. I ordered a ham a wk before and when went to pick it up. I ordered for pick up at store on 12/15/22. My order was missing ham. According to manager he couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. According to him a glitch in the system that didn't show ham. Cashier who had taken order previous week said she remembered me and that I did order ham Another customer same issue. 3rd customer says he only needs 1 ham so customer 2 and I shared it. Unbelievable that manager didn't do anything or apologize. Customers took problem into their hands and between the 3 of us made it right. Originally from Ca and in the 50+ years shopping there never once had an issue! Need to train manager on how to deal with customers and make it right. If anything an apology. Fyi when I got there there was only about 6 customers in front of me. Took manager about 20 minutes to come out and do nothing. Busy but plenty of help.
